Guest Reviews
- T (6/5): Dinner is a £50 5 course Table D'Hote and there is no à la carte option - Clean and well presented hotel The evening dinner was only available from a Table D'Hote menu which cost almost £50 for 5 courses. I don't want or need 5 courses but there was no other option and this is simply not good enough for a hotel that costs this much money, please sort it out. Also, the cost of the meal was not shown on any of the manu etc, again, this is very poor practice.
- Sally (10/5): The best views ever!! - Wonderful location with incredibly pleasant and helpful staff.

- Katja (9/5): Lands End - Sehr freundlicher Hotelmanager!!!
- Roy (8/5): Very enjoyable, comfortable, & great views. - Location, views, food, reception staffing, Evening staff. Wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
- Phyllis (9/5): - Really friendly staff. Large room with a wonderful view. Lovely comfy bed and a bath as well as a shower was a real bonus.
Really good bteakfast. A bit frustrating having only the 5 course meal on site- would be nìce to offer the option of a more relaxed, bar meal alternative too.
- Jeremy (10/5): Lovely sea views! - Clean and modern and friendly staff.
- SirDavid007 (10/5): Well worth the wait, what a great place and stunning views. - What a great hotel! After having to deal with a fire that burnt through the kitchen and damaged some other rooms, the staff have turned it around and we really enjoyed our stay. Our dog Bertie was made very welcome and many folk did offer to take our puppy home with them, no chance. The refurbishment is of a very high standard and the newly trained staff very good at their job. Breakfasts were Very filling and tasty. So we were meant to be there in March but due to the fire had to wait a bit, it so worth it. Well done everyone, see you next year, that will be 5 in a row.
- Henderson (6/5): - The room was superb Restaurant staff messed up. They offered a five course menu (only option), yet our table belonged in a cafeteria (no place settings, no candles, paper napkins). Others in the restaurant were given place settings and flowers on their tables; not us, despite having made reservations months in advance. After dinner liquors were also unavailable. The attempt at upscaling the restaurant is failing miserably.
- Christine (8/5): -
- Sandra (10/5): - Reception staff were good. The room was a good size as was the bathroom, shower was excellent. Room was spotless. Breakfast was great. Staff polite and friendly Liked everything
- Jennifer (6/5): Spectacular setting, and some great service - Amazing setting and right on the coast path. The rooms were nicely decorated. Some of the staff were wonderfully upbeat and helpful eg taking our wet clothes for tumbledrying. The service in the restaurant was often very slow and at times 3 confused staff would show up at the table at once. There seemed to be quite a lot of new staff, some of whom were clearly quick learners whilst others seemed less on the ball.
The rooms in the studios were really hot and there were no heating controls. So it was hard to sleep.
The dinner menu in the restaurant was 5 course offering only which I’d not been made aware of when booking. I’d have preferred to be able to select à la carte what/ how much to eat.
- emilyhA687ZU (10/5): Amazing setting for our wedding - Me and my partner got married in this beautiful hotel in April 2026. The setting was magical and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We spent the night in the beautiful bridal sweet that was very thoughtfully decorated for our special day and had the most amazing breakfast we could’ve asked for whilst sat in the room overlooking longships light house. We both can’t wait to stay at the hotel next April to celebrate our first wedding anniversary.

- Kevin (7/5): -
- Larue (10/5): This hotel was in a great location for exploring the Southwest Coast Path. - Upscale hotel in a quaint Cornwall town. Nice views.
- Rosemary (7/5): Suitable place to stay if you want to visit the area. - Good Food and very friendly staff. The bed was old and uncomfortable. The room could have done with a long mirror in the room. There was also a strange noise outside our window late at night and very early in the morning. Woke us up. Would not stay in room 17 again.
- Tabatha (9/5): -
- Lorenzo (8/5): -
- Emma (10/5): had a lovely walk over the cliffs and waking up to the sea view was amazing. - we had a little studio room it was so cute and the sea view was amazing just what i needed, the food was very nice i can not think of anything here
- Emma (9/5): Fab - The quality linen towels and products.
The sea view
The staff The tiny tiny room
- Holly (9/5): -
- Anthony (9/5): Bloody lovely! - Breakfast very good and great selection Nothing
- Xudong (10/5): -
- Ayesh (10/5): -
- Doug (10/5): Loved It - Really nice friendly staff, the view guys where amazing, food ace, if you wish to do Lands End its the place to go
- SSimons1966 (4/5): Lovely place, poor staff - Lovely place in a fantastic setting, but they must find it hard to get any decent staff. Talk about slow, the young girl, dressed in white at the till really didn’t want to be there and everything was too much for her, took 20 minutes to get a coffee and it wasn’t even busy. Food brought out 1 plate at a time. Ordered a pot of tea and the cups arrived 10 minutes after the pot.
- Silke (7/5): -
- I1584GEsallyk (10/5): Johnny cowling - We are only in st austell so under 2hrs away, but as it was a show and it was late finishing we got a very good deal for breakfast inculded, we stayed last yr so knew what we would be getting, we arrived early so we could park up and have a look around, the coast is better in winter, when we were given our room it was so nice had a little hall way with a sea view then when we walked in to the actual room we had a stunning view couldnt have asked for a better room, it was clean tidy, we went down for a drink thank god they do Rattler cider, the room for the show is stunning,we slept right through, when we went for breakfast it is so nice, help yourself style, the staff are fantastic you couldnt ask for better, the only thing i would say is how many dogs there are off the lead, with it being egde of the land dog walkers need to be picked up on this, the hotel us starting to look a little sad on the outside, a quick bit of paint would make it look so much nicer to any first time visiters.
- Janice (10/5): Amazing staff perfect - Amazing views Nouthing
- Tamsin (9/5): - We stayed in one of the studio apartments, this was amazing. Very clean, tidy and we were made very welcome with our dog who also loved his time away.
- Cherry (7/5): Ok place to say but could be better - The rooms were warm, and quite nice. We were told it was self catering, but there was no cooking facilities i.e bowls to cook items in the microwave. Dishes needed to be cleaned in the basin not super nice.
The shower grout at the bottom was dirty,
- Claudia (9/5): - Lage. Lage. Lage.
- Kimberlee (9/5): Lovely stay, excellent views! - The view was glorious! The bed was comfortable. The room was very clean. Breakfast was very good - also had a great view from the restaurant. Front desk staff was super friendly. Our room was two floors up with no elevator.
- Paul and Annie on tour (8/5): been here many times. Will visit again - amazing location
- Daybreak2 (6/5): Good but could have been better - Compy beds, good size room, excellent views and walks, staff were friendlt There was a function on and we couldn't eat in the restaurant! We couldn't go to the bar we had to ask for a drink at reception. As they were having there kitchen done up! Not great but will be greatnwhen it's complete
- Tom (7/5): -
- Andrew (10/5): Lands end - Absolutely loved the stay at this hotel, beautiful place, brilliant rooms. The views were fantastic such a special place.
- stephen (8/5): - Lovely room big and spacious large bathroom with bath and shower
Huge comfortable bed Booking had to change from hotel with breakfast to self catering room as refurbished brought forward. Evening meal at new venue was excellent though
- Faye (10/5): Great and unforgettable! - Clean 👌🏻
Friendly staff 👏🏻
Great place to unwind 🧘
- Giuseppe Racca (8/5): Wonderful view and location - Location and view were stunning. Comfortable room, though not particularly nice. Good breakfast The food at dinner was terrible.
- Richard (9/5): -
- annmariebY1793MJ (10/5): A great day out with the added bonus of a night's stay after. - Stayed here as part of a two-night stay at Lands End.
The hotel is set inside the Lands End resort and guests have free access to all the attractions with their room card. I only took advantage of two out of four of the attractions (Gweeb Farm and the 4D film 'Jolly Roger') but, suffice to say, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would recommend!
Anyway, onto the hotel. The room was a small sea-view double with a bathroom with bath/shower and was nicely furnished but the best part was the location of the hotel itself, set right on the cliff edge and with magnificent views across to the Isles of Scilly in the distance and the most beautiful sunset.
If you wish to visit the Lands End attractions and you have the time, etc. you could do no worse than also book a night's stay here also - I loved it!
- Pricop (10/5): -
- Wojciech (8/5): -
- Wayne (5/5): Won't return - Location says it all
Excellent breakfast was a surprise after dinner the evening before The dinner menu was poor, and the food was poor at best.
Bed was not comfortable
Attractions at lands end included in our stay but they were closing a little after 3pm and was told they will re open the following day at 10am but they still weren't open at 10:45 so we left
- Veronika (10/5): -
- shelley (10/5): -
- Elia Giovanni (8/5): -
- Ange (10/5): Contemplation and comfort in a place where land, ocean and wind meet - The location and the overall atmosphere
The ocean view from the superior room
The comfort in the superior rooms
The breakfast and the room where we had it , facing the ocean
The walks nearby the hotel Great stay - we will be back
- Miettinen (9/5): - The views, nice friendly staff
- 555melh (4/5): Fantastic location, bad food. - Great location and friendly staff. Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with our evening meal. One of our group extremely unwell after eating pasta dish. Menu sounded great, but maybe over ambitious for facilities.
- Blewett (9/5): -
- Gaia (7/5): Luogo dov'è l'albergo stupendo. Colazione buona! - Location spettacolare, stanze calde, bagno abbastanza pulito
- Fiona (9/5): Relax and recharge! - It’s all about the setting with this amazing hotel. Perched right on the edge, with amazing views. Great walks right outside the hotel door, but beware it is often very windy! The weather changes minute by minute, with sun, rain, fog, mist and clear skies all in the space of half an hour!
The hotel room was lovely (we were upgraded to an available superior room on arrival, thank you, team!). The bed was very comfortable, with quality linens. Bathroom beautifully appointed and very clean with Elemis toiletries provided.
Breakfast choices plentiful and the staff all very friendly. We had dinner in the hotel both nights of our stay, the dishes we chose were delicious.
This was our second stay at The Lands End Hotel and we will certainly be back again. Great place to unwind and recharge whilst enjoying the power of Mother Nature!
Hotel guests also get free access to the Lands End attractions.
- Gegcuk (9/5): -
- Sarah (7/5): - Lovely room, brilliant views, good breakfast, helpful staff, Both shower gel & shampoo was empty!!
- trevor99 (10/5): Great 24 hrs with our grandson - We stayed last night only one night in the family room with our grandson . Excellent stay ,great breakfast fantastic staff . The room even had a little balcony . We used to stay a lot in the 90s for a winter break always enjoyed our stay what ever the weather. We had our evening meal at The First and Last pub because our grandson wanted to play pool . The hotel told us to show our hotel card and we had 10 % off our bill.
- On Ki (10/5): -
- madhurabc (8/5): Great Food and Staff - A very welcoming hotel. Staff were unfailingly helpful and this makes a holiday even better, Its a great location for local sites and the views from the restaurant were stunning. The bed was comfortable. The ensuite was newly appointed. The restaurant had a great menu which will only be better when the kitchen is repaired after the fire. My only niggle was that they were possibly short staffed. The room didn't need full making up or change of sheets etc everyday but a check to replenish the tea and coffee etc. would have been great. We had to ask most days and we felt demanding on our part. I think that there is a feel of faded greatness to this place which might need to be addressed.
- duttonn (10/5): Great relaxing hotel. - Great weekend away for our birthday. Receptionist brilliant and very helpful. Excellent breakfast and cream tea. Brilliant views from our room on a largely dry blustery weekend. Attractions ( included as a hotel guest) unexpectedly brilliant.
- Emil (9/5): -
- Jacqui (9/5): I only booked for one night but asked to stay two! - Staff were very friendly and room was clean. Great location lovely place to watch the sunset. I was woken up at 6am by the people in the room above my room which was No12. I believe it was a family room.
- CHRIS (9/5): I WOULD RECOMMEND HOTEL AND THE LOCATION IS FANTASTIC - Breakfast better than most ALL GOOD
- Cathy (9/5): Lovely place, dramatic location, fab fab staff! - Dog friendly, special feel, greeted like old friends, shared spaces to sit. Super clean and luxury! Dining room a little chilly for breakfast!!
- 276gillianf (10/5): Great hotel - Lovely hotel! The room was clean, comfy and modern. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. If you are coming to Lands end this hotel is a must stay!
We had a great sea view.
Electric car charge points avaialble which was a bonus! Only downside is you have to pay for overnight parking which I feel should be included in your room price.
- paul (7/5): -
- Ian (8/5): Excellent views and walks and very friendly people in the hotel. - Room had everything you need for a stay. Excellent location the walks were BRILLIANT every morning. Breakfast was a little warm not your fault the Baymaree dont keep food hot, other than that it was good choice and filling.
- Neil (10/5): - Amazing location! The food in the restaurant was great and not overpriced. The staff were really friendly.
The bedroom was a good size and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable.
- pamela (8/5): Stop over before flight to Isles of Scilly - Ideal location for airport Limited menu
- Ian (10/5): Excellent - Excellent location More variety on the menu
- Tomasz (10/5): - A perfect place to relax. A great hotel with friendly and professional service. My stay was too short. 😞

- Paul (9/5): Just wonderful and definitely recommended! - Our first trip to lands end so we thought the lands end hotel would be a nice option and we were not disappointed. Fabulous sea view room where we could even see the dolphins! Really nice dinner and good breakfast. If your going to see lands end then we would definitely recommend a stay here to enjoy the area to its fullest. A little pricey but understandable considering the location.
- Sugra V (7/5): We went with high expectations but were a little disappointed - Lovely location, generally clean. Staff at breakfast were excellent. Choice of dinner menu was very limited and no Halal choice. Eating fish and chips daily was boring. Second floor room, with no lift it was hard to go up and down at our age, very thin walls could hear voices of neighbouring guests, both nights. Superior room which had sea view, but sea view could only be seen if you stand up. Requested water and milk, but had to ask reception twice.
The Facilities on Booking.com were not clear we were asked to Pay for two days parking up front, which we believed should’ve been included.
- Emma (10/5): - We loved the amazing view across the ocean. The hotel is very modern and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic.
- John (10/5): Ideal location for Southwescoast Path! Super accommodation and views along with historic information - Great location. Superb room (including bath after hike!) Dinner menu was unusual..no salads, few vegetable choices. Few fish options
- Andrew (4/5): - Everywhere had. Not been cleaned to stand
- Catherine (10/5): -
- Man-Ling (10/5): Enjoy - Staffs are Nice and helpful. Happy with breakfast arrangement and many choices shower cream almost finished but did not change a new one
- Andrew (10/5): - Great atmosphere and lovely location
- Markus (9/5): -
- Jon (9/5): Land's End parkrun break. - Friendly and helpful. Stunning views.
- dean (10/5): - My room and bathroom were spotlessly clean , the service was excellent and the food was very good .
- Bunty (7/5): Very comfortable but a little overpriced - It’s a nice hotel - very comfortable beds and showers with very friendly staff. It was based in a very touristy complex which we don’t prefer. It felt a little overpriced.
