- Nicola (10/5): - Perfect for what i needed
- PINAR (10/5): Weekend getaway for rock climbing - Great accommodation for a few days rock climbing in the famous sea cliffs of Pembrokeshire. Fantastic to come back to a warm shower and comfortable beds. Parking eight in front of the house allowed us to carry gear back and forth with ease. Our hosts were clear and concise in their communication; we didn't have to read an enciclopedia of rules when we arrived either. Thank you! We had to buy a sink unblocker from a supermarket for the bathroom sink. I guess, if the hosts are not told that there is a problem then they can't fix it.
- Aliasha (10/5): Peaceful hassle free great hosts can’t wait to book again . - The property is in the perfect location for stargazing also fantastic area for wildlife dog free site so only see a few rabbits and it’s really fun for little kids to run around so safe as private land. Beach was a 2 minute walk away perfect for anyone with mobility issues as everything is so close. Very comfy bed and very very clean . The property was amazing no faults
- detectingshaun (10/5): - Great location and 5 minute walk to the beach, the property was very clean and had everything we needed. Communication was exceptional and I would highly recommend it.
- Donovan (9/5): Great value stay - Almost verything Grim outdoor area
- Simon Perry (8/5): -
- Cindy (9/5): - 3 beds in 2nd room instead of normally 2. Reasonably roomy. Kitchenware adequate for some self catering. Beds comfortable. Shower water hot. Picnic bench out front with sea view. Upper floor balcony. Small discrepancies/repairs dealt with immediately by friendly host. Not overlooked and pleasant views. Short walk distance to beach Bedrooms very small though adequate. No chairs to sit on upper floor balcony to relax on. No towels supplied. Very little space to dry clothes/wet suits when rainy. Steep stairs or long slope to property.
- Dawn (8/5): Ideal beach accommodation for a short break - Good for a short stay at the beach. Chalet has more space and patio doors to help enjoy the views. Had most things needed for a short break. A parking place provided but very tight if you have a large vehicle all chalets occupied. Basic clean accommodation with good views. Patio bench was nice to sit and have a drink outside. Nice friendly bar for a drink on the way back from the beach. Booked this accommodation as it had a balcony but no seats so pointless. No cork screw provided? Had to borrow one from a neighbour. The tv was too high up on the wall and not smart tv so useless if the weather is bad. Luckily we had brilliant weather.
- keith (10/5): Relaxed and quiet - This is a great place to base exploring this part of Pembrokeshire. Nothing to dislike
- Judith (9/5): Superb - Excellent location and great facilities
- Nigel (7/5): As expected - Good location. Not far from Pembroke. Clen and tidy. Nothing.
- Richard (9/5): Excellent location and lovely accommodation - Lovely location Could have done with a coat of paint
- Patryk (10/5): Nice and quiet place - Really nice and quiet place. Helpful staff - helped me to rebook my cabin for the bigger one (many thanks for that 🙌) There is literally everything you need like at your own home, from kitchen utensils to a flor mop in case you catching a rainy day
- Gillian (10/5): Great location - Lovely clean comfortable accommodation near to the beach and other lovely coastal path walks. Third time staying at this company’s accommodation and great comms throughout.
- Robert (8/5): Good place to stay although restaurant onot offered pizza - The extra room we did t know about when we arrived Nothing
- Abigail (10/5): We had the perfect weekend here. - The accommodation was perfect for us. Very clean and tidy. Extremely comfortable beds! Had the best nights sleep! Lovely location. The owner was very helpful, communication was brilliant and owner took our booking at very short notice. Would most definitely stay again.

- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good - Great location.
- Julie (9/5): Will definitely return. - Extremely comfortable and clean. Recliner chair and sofa, usb sockets for charging. Little details but enhanced stay. Sea view from main bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen. Very well maintained.
- Kriss (7/5): Good -
- Ali (7/5): Good - The television was a challenge had to hook up to hot-spot on phone to agree to the agreement so it would go away at which point I could update the apps. However could only get terestial TV. Others such as ITVX came up with a server error. Also a certificate was required probably for the webos part requiring laptop hook up. Would have required own netflix account with a free device available to use the Netflix. So the television was annoying. This was in 41. The telly in 61 didn't seem to have the agreement issue but again severely limited on what could be used. Bed mattress could have been more comfortable. With these issues I rated good else would have been excellent. Although I don't have a dog the site didn't allow dogs at all. I think this is unfair and should be allowed in at least some of the accommodation. Lovely pub but too pricey so didn't bother with it at all. No shop.
- Sian (8/5): Very good -
- Bill (7/5): Good -
- Gareth (10/5): Exceptional - The location and the property were excellent. I couldn't fault any part of the stay.
- Wendy (10/5): We loved our stay here and will definitely be going back the property was clean and fresh beach was a short walk across - The property was clean fresh and very comfortable you have a parking space with the Property perfect .
- Maneesh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonathan (10/5): Excellent accommodation - A great place and a very good location.
The only small thing was and maybe it was in the small print and i did not read it but there was no bath towels or hand towels.
- Stephen (9/5): Great place - clean, tidy comfortable with all the necessary facilities , not less than 10mins leisurely stroll from a fantastic beach.. We only had three days!
- Simona (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nico (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanna (8/5): Very good - Well resourced property. Some hand soap in the bathroom would have been nice seeing as though washing up liquid and toilet roll (basic essentials) were supplied.
Clean everywhere and comfortable beds. Lack of Hand wash for bathroom.
Property was cold downstairs but very warm Upstairs on arrival.
- Gerry (7/5): Good -
- Gareth (5/5): Passable -
- Andrew (10/5): Freshwater East - Property was clean , tidy and spacious . Facilities were good . Internet was good and it was a 2 min walk from the beach . Couple of restaurants locally .One was shut for a couple of weeks but lamphey and Pembroke are a short drive away . Directions were very good and property was easy to find
- Gareth (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent accommodation and beautiful area for walks.
- Martin (10/5): - Property good, had all that we needed. Nice & warm-our stay was late November.
Quiet area, Jacks was a 2 minute walk to eat out, food good.
Beach 5 minute walk, would stay again.
- Cameron (7/5): Good -
- Patrick (1/5): Worth place I ever stayed - Location It was cold , uncomfortable, shower wasn't working properly, kids couldn't use it too dangerous. WiFi wasn't working, tv wasn't working...
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Lynda (5/5): Loved the area and we did enjoy our time away. Just a shame the place was not up to scratch - Bed comfy and bed sheets clean, the bathroom was modern. All facilities were there that you needed The overall decor was cheap and needed to be upgraded and modernised. All furnishing were worn, tired, and old fashioned(curtains, curtain rails, pictures, light shades and lamps). The table and chairs, washing machine and bedside cabinets had seen better days. When we cooked in the oven there was this awful smell which permeated the whole accomadation for 2 days. The oven needs a deep clean definetly.
Outside the facia boards were covered in green mould and the guttering was filled with clodges of earth and weeds which have obviously been there for a long time. The general maintenance is not done by the looks of things. Its a shame as the place could be lovely but the place needs a good deep clean, updated and modernised.
- Maree (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kenneth (10/5): Exceptional - Location and price.
It's the second time we have stayed in this property.
The location is superb ẁith Freshwater East Beach just a short walk away.
I would book it again. Nothing
- Stephen (10/5): Will happily return - Excellent cottage, well equipped, clean, good internet , useful cooking facilities.
Great location close to the beach,.
Couldn't really ask for anything more, will definitely stay here again if I'm back in Pembroke.
- Nichola (5/5): Lovely location would go again but cottage needs some attention - Location The property was very dated needed a revamp. Only the Oven worked Hob and grill wouldn’t work. Shower door was very awkward to close. Needs more electric sockets rather than extension leads.
- Michelle (7/5): Quite a convenient location and good value for money - It’s location is quite and convenient enough to reach the nearest beach .the wifi is good No toilets downstairs . Although we were informed about towels ., there is no bath mat provided in the shower area . Needs a bit more cleaning as well . Cab webs on the kitchen cup boards . And curtain on the double bedroom upstairs has got a stain on it which makes it look like it’s not clean .. it would also be good if there’s a hairdryer provided
- Hemalatha (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (8/5): A great holiday. - An excellent holiday in this comfortable and clean chalet.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (7/5): Great location, needs a little attention here & there...but owner very helpful and enjoyed our stay -
- Angela (9/5): Great location and relaxing - Great property, it was home from home. The beds and sofa was very comfortable, the blue chair my son loved wanted to take it home with us. The shower great as well. Number 21 had people staying overnight, there was 10 people staying on the Sunday night. They had a massive van which they parked right outside my bedroom window they were having showers in the car park at 11pm. I didn't get any sleep that night.
- Mark (10/5): - Book this place at the last minute and didn't know anything about the area, was pleasantly surprised by the area and property. Everyone friendly in the area and the property was just what we needed.
- James (9/5): A perfect spot by a perfect beach with a pub/restaurant 50 yards away. - Had all the facilities you’d need (and more) incl oven, washing machine, microwave. Large open plan area downstairs to unwind after a tough day on the beach! TV reception was patchy but did not bother me.
Second bedroom is small.
- Felicity (8/5): Very good - Nice & peaceful the beach is beautiful. Wish towels would be included in the price .
- E (8/5): Very good -
- Clare (10/5): - Lovely comfortable good location
- Gillian (7/5): Good -
- Hacol (8/5): Very good - It's a perfect location for family trip!
and the beds were comfortable :)
- Janet (10/5): Very comfortable and enjoyable. - This was the 3rd time we have stayed at Freshwater, it's in a lovely location and the property suits our needs. Having a pub/restaurant on site that serves good food is a bonus too. Couldn't complain about anything.
- Michael (8/5): - Came out of season, so nice and quiet. The property was clean, well stocked with utensils/pots and pans. Bed ws comfortable. Nice shower. Very good WiFi connection. Local bar was very friendly and welcoming. Local beach was very accessible and lovely to walk up and down with my wife. Hopefully - Will likely be back, for us a lovely place for a short stay.
- Toni (9/5): Quiet stay in Nice accommodation - This is a pretty secluded location, fairly easy to get to but there's only 1 restaurant and no other activities on site; great for a quiet stay.
It's close to the beach and a coastal path.
The accommodation was spacious and very clean. The kitchen well equipped and everything washed properly before we got there. The owners left a bottle of cleaning spray, tea towels and some washing up liquid which was useful.
The beach is nice, quiet, clean and spacious. It is across what could be a busy road at times so keep hold of small children. You can get takeout drinks from the restaurant on site but there wasn't a cafe at the beach.
It was a very good value for money stay. Not much I could point out as negatives.
- Linda (7/5): had clean comfy beds and everything needed but basic - I've stayed previously in a more homely accommodation. but did pay more and had free towels and goody basket. This accommodation was basic but clean and I guess u get what u pay for. The furniture was a little tired! Looked better in pics!
Also out door space could do with a makeover!
- Janet (8/5): Very enjoyable and comfortable, would recommend to couples or families. - This is the second time we have stayed at Freshwater East Holiday let's and really enjoyed our stay. There was everything we needed and a lovely location and has a great place to eat and drink at if we chose.
- Gail (7/5): Lovely little December get away - Was home away from home, very well equipped, warm and spotlessly clean. There was a lot of Information provided on arrival including instructions on how to use washing machine, cooker, shower etc.
I also appreciated the regular communication with the property owners prior to arrival. They were very accommodating and had no problem assisting with any information we asked for or carrying out any requests we made before arrival, which included an oxygen concentrator being set up for my mum. There wasn't many close amenities, however that was to be expected as it was December time.
The bedrooms were a lot smaller than expected. We had requested a travel cot for our 2 year old Which was provided with no problem. However, in order to get it to fit into the main bedroom we had to move furniture quite a bit, which still wasn't ideal once it did fit due to positioning of double bed in against the wall.
- Kenneth (9/5): Quiet spot close to some dramatic scenery - The location is superb Nothing
- Matthew (9/5): an excellent location for a break next to a beautiful beach. - very clean and comfortable. nothing
- Alison (4/5): Disappointing -
- Kayleigh (8/5): Very good -
- Tricia (7/5): Cosy home from home only a 5 minute walk from the beach. - Very clean & comfortable accommodation. Bed very comfortable. Nicely decorated throughout.
Everything you need.
- Anthony (9/5): Superb -
- João (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (9/5): Superb - super clean and tidy, it had everything we needed. It was very relaxing. some furniture in the living room could be updated style wise. but they were all in good condition and very comfortable.
- Priscila (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location for a short trip to Pembrokeshire with my partner and mum. Very quiet and close to the beach and a local pub in the area.
- Carol (8/5): Very good - Close to beach . All the basics included. No views
- Susan (8/5): Lovely place to stay.Short walk to the beach. It was a good find. - We love the location so near the beach .
- Nicholas (8/5): Very good - Accommodation was excellent , The people who owned it were very friendly and helpful. Nothing
- Susanta (3/5): I am not happy with the cleanliness. Sheets and duvet were not clean. Bathroom was not at all clean. - They should take care of hygiene. Didn’t provide basic amenities in the kitchen and toilet.
- Robert (4/5): Disappointing - Loved the location. Really quiet, close to the beach. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Everything was sticky, including the couches, which were very uncomfortable. We ended up buying throws to cover them. Foam mattress in the bedroom were awful to sleep on.
- Annmarie (10/5): - Brilliant stay apartment was very clean, beach just across the road nice relaxing break just what we needed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely Seaside Break - Lovely spacious chalet with Wifi (there is no phone signal on site). Really comfortable, lovely view and great location right next to beach and coastal walks.
- Nicola (10/5): Excellent facility so comfy - Was such a relaxing stay great little appartment had everything we needed definitely would stay again
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent - This place is the best chalet I have stayed in on this site. The organisation and communication was great and the property was clean, comfy and homely. This is a great place if you just need a chill out for a few days
- Ammar (8/5): Comfortable stay at excellent location - Good communication from the management about check in process. Excellent location. Clean property with all the amenities required for a family.
We enjoyed our stay.
- Heidi (10/5): Perfect location. - An excellent location. High up on the site so looking out over hillside and not directly into other houses. Great to have outside table and balcony to main bedroom. Clear instructions pre-arrival. Seamless contact-free check in and out. Very comfortable accommodation with excellent views and short walk to beach. Views of sea. Handy to have washing machine and washing line. Great value for money. Highly recommended!
- Lisa (10/5): Perfect - A perfect little home away from home for me and my toddler. We loved it. It had absolutely everything we needed from microwave to stair gate! Comms was straight forward and clear and arrival and departure couldn't have been simpler. Will be staying again for sure
- Theresa (10/5): - The stay was very pleasant and relaxing.
- Andy (10/5): - Met our needs perfectly
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic spot for beach, bird watching in the reeds and walking. Friendly staff in the pub
- Howard (10/5): Don't tell the English. - As a native South Walian I would normally admit to something better begrudgingly. However, after over fifty years of holidaying in Pembrokeshire I have to admit that West is Best! It has become my spiritual home. The Home Counties have been my base for over thirty-five years and at least once a year Pembrokeshire is my escape. Anyone wanting to get away from it all couldn't do much better than heading this way, therefore. The property itself was brilliantly situated for access to Freshwater East beach and the coastal path which leads to some of the most beautiful beaches and dramatic coast lines in the world. (Yes, I am biased, but I'm also right!) There's also a decent pub on site which serves up guest beers such as Brains and Butcombe. As long as you prepare for all weather patterns, this is the holiday for you.
- The Southerner (10/5): A Nice and Relaxing Stay in Pembrokeshire! - Stayed in Anemone, one of the cottages that is part of the Freshwater Bay Holiday Cottages Portfolio, and had a wonderful stay! The cottage is more like a terrace house, but inside everything was clean and cosy. The house was private and was of a good size with a small lounge area, a fully equipped kitchen, Fridge Freezer, Large Screen TV and a Queen Sized Bed in one room and twins in the other, all of which were very comfortable. The proprietor left complementary milk, sugar, coffee sachets as well as Washing Up liquid, so you did not have to provide your own which was a nice touch! The bathroom was decent too and looked relatively refurbished. The bathroom had a Shower/Bath combo.
The houses are about 200 metres from the Freshwater East Sand Beach, which was lovely when you fancied a late evening walk. The area is quite off the beaten track so there is very little traffic, so is very quiet. However, the location is not too far from Pembroke Dock where there is an Aldi, Tesco and ASDA to get your supplies from, which is about a 20 minute drive away.
All in all, I had a lovely stay, and I will definitely be returning.
