• hyeran (10/5): 아기와 함께 모래놀이와 바다의 여유를 즐기고 싶다면 딱입니다!! - 우선 전용해변이라 바로 나가면 해변이라는 점은 아이가 있는 부모라면 정말 좋은 위치입니다 아이에게 바다를 처음 보여줬는데 너무 좋아햇어요!! 그리고 조식!! 디너도 이용했던지라 조식을 보니 디너에만 나오는 메뉴빼고, 초밥빼고는 다 있는거 같아서 너무 좋았습니다 아기들도 잘먹고 좋았어요!! 해변에 날이 뜨거웠는데.. 그늘이 없는부분이 좀 아쉬웠어요 그늘막이나 파라솔이 몇개 있음 더 좋지 않을까 했습니다.

• 수빈 (5/5): - 위치. 객실 내 리모델링.. 리모델링 시기가 얼마안되어, 깨끗합니다. 비회원에게 배정되는 객실은 엘리베이터에서 100m는 떨어져 있고, 어른들 모시고 한참을걸어야 객실에 도착할수 있고, 객실입구도어에 먼지 제거도 안되어 있어서 객실들어갈 때 인상이 저절로 찌푸려집니다. 개인적으로 리조트를 선택하는 이유는 취사가 가능하다는 인식이 있어서 인데.. 클린객실이라는 명목으로, 찜.탕 등 냄새내는 음식 반입 금지와, 간단한 라면도 못해먹는 규칙은 좀 황당하다고 느꼈어요. 또한, 본인은 해수사우나를 기대하고 선택한 숙소인데.. 예약 당시 '해수공급이 안된다'는 어떠한 안내도 없었습니다. 또한, 리모델링으로 깨끗하기는 한데, 자재냄새가 안빠져서 2박 3일동안 창문을 살짝 열어놓아야 했습니다.

• BYEONGIN (10/5): 2박 3일 가족여행 ㅎㅎ - 직원들께서 밝은 모습으로 일일이 대응해주셔서 좋았습니다. 체크인/아웃때는 많이 바쁘실텐데 늘 한결같은 모습으로 대응해 주시고, 프런트로 전화 문의시에도 친절하셨습니다. 해변가는 아주 깨끗하고 에어건, 모래 세척하는 곳도 잘 마련되어있어서 다음에도 또 오려고 합니다. 숙박시설도 어른 2명과 아이 2명이 사용하기에도 넓고 쾌적했으며 가족 구성원 모두 만족해하고 또 오고싶어하는 이야기를 나누며 여행을 즐겼습니다. 2박 3일동은 잘 쉬었습니다 ^^

• PIL HO (10/5): 속초/고성 여행 최고의 선택 - 프리미어 오션뷰(클린) 객실에서 2박3일간 잘 머물다 왔습니다. 먼저 켄싱턴비치가 도보이동 가능한 거리에 있어서 애들이랑 물놀이하기 딱좋았네요. 그리고 설악워터피아도 차로 10분거리에 있어 워터피아 편하게 이용가능합니다. 클린룸이라 전자렌지를 이용한 조리만 가능한데 주변 반경 2~3km 내에 하나로마트를 비롯한 대형마트, 식당가들이 즐비하여 전혀문제되지 않았고 오히려 더 청결한 컨디션을 유지할 수 있는것 같습니다. 리조트내에서 애슐리 퀸즈, 오하루, 편의점 등을 편하게이용할수 있고 갖가지 특산품 등을 판매하고있어 또다른 재미가 있었네요. 단, 오하루는 좀 비싸긴 합니다. 개실이용객들은 오하루 오픈기념 쿠폰을 이용하시면 그래도 좀 낫네요. 우리가 머문 객실이 오션뷰이다보니 정말 그림같은 풍경을 만끽할수 있었으나, 시선안에 공사중인 건물이 있어 좀 아쉽긴했네요. 클린객실은 취사가 불가능 하여 조금 불편할수 있으나 반대급부로 깨끗한 환경에서 즐길수있으니 이 부분은 성향에 따라 고려해볼 내용입니다. 주차는 조금 불편합니다. 이는 짐을 객실로 옮기는데 직접적인 영향이 있습니다. 공간이 부족한건 아니나 성수기에는 조금만 늦어도 좀 멀리 주차해야할 가능성이 높아요~ 속초 가족여행을 매년다니는데(집은 김해네요) 켄싱턴비치리조트는 처음이었는데 가족들 모두 만족한 여행이 되었네요. 다시 들르고싶은 숙소인건 말할나위없구요. 좋은 추억 만들고 갑니다!!!
• Jaedoo (10/5): 켄싱턴 설악비치에서의 만족스러운 여행 - - 일단 위치가 너무 좋았어요! 바로 앞 바닷가에 걸어서 갈 수 있다는 큰 메리트가! - 간단히 씻을 수 있는 야외 시설도 있고, 바닷가 가는 길도 예뻐서 포토 스팟! - 차타고 5분 정도 거리에 큰 마트도 있어서 바베큐용 고기 등 사올 수 있어요. - 바베큐는 미리 문의하면 이용 방법 잘 알려주세요. - 아침에 애슐리 조식을 편하게 이용할 수 있어서 굿. 아이들이 요것저것 잘 먹었네요. - 1층에 카페, 상점, 편의점(2개)이 있어서 여러모로 좋습니다. 웬만한 건 리조트 안에서 해결 가능해요. - 직원분들이 친절하시고 전화 응대 매너도 좋아요. - 체크인 할 때 쿠폰을 주는데, 은근 쏠쏠하게 썼어요. 파라솔 대여비 할인, 1층 상점 할인 등등. - 리뉴얼 룸을 이용했는데, 에어컨 성능 좋고 방이 전체적으로 깨끗했어요. 방에서 설악산이 잘보여서 좋았어요. 예쁜 사진 촬영 가능. - 리조트 앞마당에 예쁜 조명들이 달려있는 길이 있어서 밤에도 예뻐요. - 건물 바로 앞에 주차장이 있지만 성수기에는 그곳에 주차하기는 쉽지 않고, 주로 조명달린 정원을 지나서 있는 흙바닥 주차장에 주차를 해야해요. 그치만 그리 멀지 않고 주차 자리도 아주 많은 편.

I highly recommend it to all tourists coming for sightseeing, Seorak Mountain, and the DMZ. First of all, the location is perfect for both tourist areas, and the beach is just behind the resort, so I didn’t need to cross the road. Second, the view is incredible. Watching the sunrise from the room was a truly amazing experience. Lastly, the guest service was exceptional. Everyone at the resort was so nice and kind. They helped me as much as they could, and their service made my trip to Sokcho unforgettable. I hope others can have the same amazing experience at Seorak Beach as I did.

• YEESULE (2/5): - I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, my experience was quite disappointing due to cleanliness issues. Upon entering the room, it was clear the housekeeping standards were lacking. The floors hadn’t been thoroughly swept, with visible dust ,dust and crumbs in some areas. The bathroom also had issues, including hair in the sink and shower, and the towels didn’t feel or smell as fresh as I would expect from a hotel of this caliber. Even the bedding left me feeling uneasy, with stains and holes that suggested it hadn’t been properly changed. This really impacted my ability to feel comfortable and relaxed during my stay. I hope management takes steps to improve the cleanliness standards, as this could be a much more enjoyable place to stay with more attention to detail.

(불쾌했음), 친절한 직원, 적정한 가격, 편안한 침대와 쇼파 / 전체적으로 낡은 하드웨어에 훌륭한 소프트웨어와 서비스가 합쳐진 곳. Dilapidated exterior, long walk, hard to find internal facilities and amenities, mismatched tourist products, decent amenities, no laundry facilities, no laundry service, not easy to adjust room temperature, extra cost (900 won) per sheet for extra towels, insufficient parking space, great view whether mountain side or sea side, strong water pressure, not very accessible but very close beach, breakfast buffet relatively well organized and tasty despite lack of space, most inconvenient and complained about a robot collecting used dishes! (which was unpleasant), friendly staff, decent prices, comfortable beds and couches / overall a place where old hardware is combined with great software and service.

• jean_kim_nomad (10/5): GREAT LOCATION AND VALUE - We booked a clean room with 2 bedrooms. The reason we booked Kensington Hotel Seorak Beach was the private beach and the view from the room. The rooms were clean, and they had basic amenity such as fridge, kettle etc. Inside the hotel they had ASHELY buffet which we booked upon arrival and received discount. They also have few shops inside and a spa you can enjoy. The overall experience was good, we would like to go back again in spring.

• Barry (8/5): Quiet location on a nice beach, good value. - From my perspective as a foreign tourist, the hotel was fine, but very little English was spoken and my family all felt that the hotel seemed a bit "industrial." The room was comfortable and we liked the kitchenette, heated floors and balcony overlooking the ocean. The restaurant onsite and most of those nearby close at 9 pm, so either plan accordingly or head into Sokcho city for more options. We enjoyed the beach and the electric tricycles for rent. We didn't have the breakfast buffet because it seemed too expensive and we weren't sure what all was offered, but there is a cafe downstairs which offers sandwiches and pastries. Great, quiet location from which to explore nearby attractions such as Seorak National Park and the DMZ.
• Cindy (8/5): Very good - The location is very good, nice view of ocean and interesting rock formations. Kitchen is good. Staff was so polite and professional. Nice family feel, very relaxing. There were no drinking glasses, not enough utensils, things like that for the kitchen. Room felt a little too hot. The signs for where to throw out trash are unclear. I thought the signs were pointing to the next floor up so I wasted time running up and down the stairs. They are really at the end of the hallway.

• Verified traveler (10/5): 레스토랑은 별로, 가까운 바닷가는 굿 - 비치가 바로 앞이라 좋습니다. 바닷물은 깨끗하지 않지만 적당한 파도가 있어서 놀기 좋습니다. 시설은 오래된 건물이라 크게 기대를 하지 않았는데, 역시나 였습니다. 침대가 불편한데 이 부분은 변경이 필요해 보입니다. 잠자리가 편해야 다시 방문을 하고 싶어지는 편이기 때문입니다. 이 곳의 최악은 1층 애슐리퀸즈 입니다. 조식당이 따로 없어서 이용을 했는데, 가격을 좀 더 받던지 음식도 그렇고 너무 형편이 없습니다. 레스토랑 관련 사항은 반드시 개선이 되길 바랍니다.
• SEONGWHAN (6/5): 레트로가 대세라지만… 이건 좀 - 물맑은 고성 바닷가 바로 앞에 리조트나 호텔은 선택지가 빤한지라 선택. 프라이빗 비치는 정말 좋았다. 운영도 잘 하시는 듯. 그런데 딱 이거 하나만 만족. 리조트 시설은 너무 노후화. 옛날 ㄷㅁ콘도를 리모델링을 한 것으로 아는데, 리모델링에 그다지 큰 비용을 들이지는 않으신 듯. 설악 켄싱턴 호텔이나 켄싱턴 리조트 설악밸리 생각하고 오시면 안됨. 엘레베이터에서 내려서 객실 복도를 보는 순간, 내가 90년대로 돌아가 MT를 왔나? 싶었던 당혹스러운 강제 레트로 분위기. 객실 현관문도 방음 전혀 안되는 80-90년대식 철문을 그대로 달아둔 것은 경악스러웠다. 방팅 하려면 누가 문 두드리는지 잘 들려야 해서 내버려 두신 듯. 생각해보니 이런 분위기, 하동에 있는 켄싱턴 리조트에서도 느껴봤네. 지금 보니 나 켄싱턴 좋아하네. 객실에 들어서니, 스위트라 넓긴 한데.. 가구나 바닥재, 벽지, 싱크대, 욕실 타일과 도기 사이즈에 맞지 않는 비데 등등 성수기 1박에 60만원대 객실이라고 보기에는 안타까운 객실 디테일들. 당혹스러운 포인트 또 있음. 냉방은 천정에 매립된 시스템 에어콘이 아니라는 거. 천고가 낮아서 시스템 에어콘은 어려웠을 거라 이해가 됨. 하지만 방 세 개짜리 객실에 스탠드 에어콘 한 개만 거실에 있는 건 무자비하지 않나..? 에어콘 바람이 닿지 않는 쪽 방은 꽤 더웠는데 어쩌나요..? 그나마 다행인 건 TV와 침대, 침구는 괜찮았다. 다만 티비가 거실이 아닌 침실 중 하나에 있어서 4인 식구가 동시에 보기는 매우 불편. 프라이빗 비치가 아무리 좋아도 이제 재방문은 안할 것 같다.

Resort is wrong name. Direct beach access- good for families. We had barbecue which was nice because of beach view. Has a great view and good Korean Spa (Sauna).
• superflygirl123 (4/5): Old dirty hotel with a nice view - I had a nice time here due to the location (right next to the beach) but the hotel room leaves much to be desired and I would never stay here again. There is no cleaning service meaning you have to take out your own trash to a garbage can in the hall, which would be fine if only we didn’t have to throw our toilet paper in the trash can after using it. Gross! Yes that means you throw your poopy toilet paper in the trash or go to the bathroom in the lobby. If you flush your toilet paper there’s a good chance you’ll clog the toilet due to the weak plumbing. Also they do not provide body towels, just a small hand towel. So when you take a shower be prepared to dry yourself off with a tiny towel. The lobby looks like it was renovated but the rest of the hotel is painfully old and feels like you’re living in a dorm room or glamping. Overall not that clean and a little bit gross. Not sure how this place gets off calling itself a resort of any kind. The location however can’t be beat and if you are prepared for the sparse accommodation it should be fine.
• 639nildac (10/5): Spacious - Kensington Resort Seorak Beach has both of both sceneries, the mountainsides & the beach front. The Manager is very accommodating to change our rooms from the mountainside to the beach front view. The resort has all the amenities to make our stay comfortable. Although it is very far from Seoul, we were able to experience a very relaxing vacation.
• HahnJR (8/5): Budget place with fantastic Ocean view - Been this hotel per one nigth with family. This is old resort. And attached to the beach. If you visit this resort at Summer will be crowded and loud. But in the winter time (when I visited) it is quite peaceful. I really enjoyed morning beach walk. The view from the balcony is fantastic. Resore also have fancy Korean restaurant and buget priced buffett restaurant. You need the rent-a-car or cab, since the place quite remote from other place but not that far.

In one word is heaven of the earth, the time i get free i like to go in this resort together with my family. here buff lunch is my mist favorite, i so happy ever visited this place. i will suggest it for everyone that visited Sokcho, you must try to come here.
