Pamela (10/5): Sweet cottage in an excellent location - The location was great for Redwood NP. The cottage was so sweet and comfortable and the staff could not have been nicer. They had laundry on site and delivered breakfast items to our door every day. The cottage needs a small dresser for clothing.

Fidel (10/5): California dreamin' - Cabin was clean, linens were fresh and clean, plenty of seating in the living room, kitchen well stocked, bathrooms clean and shower was roomy, private setting, beautiful view, tastefully decorated, large bathroom, 1/2 bath was definite bonus. Breakfast was limited... mostly carbs, cabin was near the road, parking was right on the road, driveway was slightly covered with shrubs, could not get our larger vehicle in the drive to park or unload... had to use the steep stairs to unload for the night

I was mistaken and thought the proximity to water meant there was more of a view and access to the water. There is a partial view obscured by trees and no close access to the water. My kids were so upset that we could hear the sea lions all night but could not see them. (They were so loud we couldn't sleep with windows open)

Loved the deck and the large grass area that was perfect for watching the sunset. The entire grounds were very clean and welcoming. And the staff was very friendly.

This was another hotel that offered 5 different pillows of differing softnesses; as someone with neck problems, this is my new favorite thing. It was all fabulous.

I have to say that for that price point, the breakfast was disgusting and completely unacceptable. Yogurts could’ve been offered and something more healthy. We left the bread behind and drank coffee with the milk and that was about it. Overall, the place was across between updated and old. I shouldn’t complain, but I just think at that price, with breakfast included, you could’ve done a much better job and I would’ve expected the same.

Room was very clean and kitchen had refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker (K-cup), toaster, cups, glasses, plates, and silverware. K-ups were provided. Can also get basic breakfast items by pacing order the night before. Would definitely stay here again if in area. Highly recommend!

We had a huge deck that had a partial ocean view where you could hear the sea lions (not loud enough to be a bother at all) the bedding was so amazing I am looking up the pillows and sheets they used to buy them.

valeriec284 (10/5): Wonderful place! - We are finishing our weekend at the View Crest Lodge in Trinidad, CA, and it has been wonderful! It is a set of private cabins. We can see the Pacific Ocean from the back deck. The kitchen is well-equipped. The bedroom and living room are comfortable. But we especially love the private jacuzzi spa! (Not every cabin here includes a spa.) We came to this area to visit Redwood National Park, which is not too far away. There are nice beaches very close by, too. We definitely recommend the View Crest Lodge if you come to this area!

DisneyFan0311 (10/5): Great place to stay when visiting Redwood NP - We stayed here 2 nights( cottage 2). The cottage is so roomy and has a good set up. It was clean and well kept. The check in was easy. We didn’t plan to cook when traveling. After eating out 4 days , we decided to take advantage of the provided kitchen. We made simple eggs for breakfast and one pot pasta for dinner one night. They provide some basic breakfast food like bagel, cream cheese, granola bar, milk, orange juice, etc. They also have an onsite laundry facilities. Highly recommended this place.

Milissa (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location. Loved the privacy and staff was friendly and accommodating when we needed anything. Loved sitting on the porch listening to the ocean and the seal lions.
