• Melissa (8/5): - We loved out stay at this hotel. The location was by far the biggest plus point for this hotel. Everywhere was easy reach. We got breakfast included but this could be improved. Boiled eggs ran out when we were down later in the service. The eggs on offer scrambled were not good. Pool was on the small side also but the kids loved a splash after a day of walking. The steam room was also a nice touch. Room was good and spacious but Points to improve family room should really have another toilet and space to hang things. The staff were incredibly nice. They arranged some teddies for the kids bdays and a few complimentary soft drinks which was appreciated. All in all great visit to Paris! Would come again!

• Darren (10/5): Super 4* Hotel in amazing location - Could not fault this 4 Star hotel in super central location just 10 mins stroll from the Cathedral of Notre Dame. Also really close to several major Metro/tube stations so easy to get anywhere for just €2.50 per journey. And just 40 mins (walk & metro) from Gard De Nord (if coming on Eurostar) The staff could not be more accommodating or more helpful and went out of their way to help me recover my iPhone when I left it in the back of our taxi upon arrival….. Admittedly the bedrooms weren’t the biggest but very generous bathroom with walk in shower and more than adequate for our 3 night stay in July 2025 and everything super clean throughout. WiFi is exceptional and the bedroom TV all set up for you to easily sign into your Netflix (just don’t forget to sign back out!) Well worth paying the supplement for the extremely comprehensive breakfast which is served 07:30-10:00am with (once again!) fab staff who could not do enough for us. There’s also quite a nice 4 square metre pool and very nice steam room and if you want a beauty salon as well (though we didn’t use the latter) Will 100% return next time my wife & I visit Paris and hopefully I’ll remember to pre book Le Louvre next time!…..

Pool & Hamman excellent. « La Pie Noir » excellent restaurant àcross the street !
• Keith (10/5): - Was told our room would be ready at 3:00 PM. It was close to 4:00 PM. The only explanation by reception was that the housekeeper couldn’t be located & our room wasn’t ready. Made no effort to solve the issue except to offer coffee. After a very long night & day of travel & sightseeing not having a room ready on time left a bad impression on us.

We stayed in a first floor garden room, the door to our room was in the garden area with a little patio. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet, so we had no trouble getting sleep.

• galina (10/5): - This is an excellent property in a great area. Our room was on the top floor. The room itself was amazing. Spacious with a balcony and nice view. The I my negative thing about our stay was that the elevator was broken the entire 9 days we were there. We walked up and down the stairs several times a day. When asked about some kind of a compensation we kept being told “we will ask the manager” and nothing. Overall however, our stay was great and we would certainly come back, as long as the elevator is fixed.

• Cara (10/5): - We spent 5 nights in a top level premium room and it was a fantastic stay. Room was spacious by Paris standards, quiet, had 2 balconies and good pod coffee machine. The bistro next door is great for traditional French and is good value for money and super convenient after long days walking. We didn’t have the hotel breakfasts because we were too excited to get to Maison Isabelle bakery near Maubert metro station entrance, it is delicious. We loved the spa and gym but the steam room was a bit underwhelming. Room was kept really clean and we would definitely return.

• Michelle (10/5): Great hotel in the Latin Quarter - Hotel is wonderful. Super cute little boutique hotel a short block from Notre Dame. You MUST book the suite duplex room! It is a 2-level room with a deep soaking tub, separate fully-closed glass shower with a nice space downstairs. It was beautiful. The staff was very kind.

The spa and swimming area is very nice for relaxing at the end of the day after walking around Paris. Breakfast was good but could have been even better if a few more choices available.
• Megan (10/5): Top floor a MUST! Stunning! - We LOVED this quaint hotel! Stayed here for two nights with another couple, and we booked the two top floor units with the terraces. Well worth it! Large windows opened up onto very Parisian terraces (we had two terraces for just our one room!), plus the rooms had high vaulted ceilings and a gorgeous bathroom with a large shower. Largest and nicest rooms I’ve stayed in in Europe at this price point. Hotel was within 5 min walking distance to the Notre Dame and a metro station, which we didn’t use much, as we ended up walking everywhere instead. Would certainly book these rooms again on our next stay.
• Bronwen (10/5): Perfect for a sisters weekend in Paris - Cannot fault the hotel, it was exactly as described/ as per the photos. Great location, very close to Maubert -Mutualite metro station and within walking distance of plenty of nice restaurants and bars/ cafes along the river bank near Notre Dame. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. The room was modern but with some character, cosy but comfortable, with a separate desk area and separate WC & shower room. All clean and modern facilities. We enjoyed a dip in the small heated pool after a days sightseeing, the steam room was beautifully done but not really hot enough on the occasion we visited. Breakfast was good, and served until 10.30, (plus only €5 extra to order breakfast in bed!) and checkout was not until 12.00 and they happily stored our cases for the day for free. I would definitely recommend and would happily stay again if I return for another weekend in Paris,

We were in town for a wedding and seemed like we were always riding the subway or catching an Uber because everything was out of walking distance from us. Hotel had all the basics but nothing special.

• Jonathan L (10/5): Loved this hotel. Great location. - We spent four nights at Hotel La Lanterne & Spa and it was great. The location is great. The hotel is very comfortable and staff extremely pleasant and helpful. When you travel to Europe, you expect small hotel rooms, but I will say La Lanterne has done an amazing job of making small feel roomy and comfortable. Our room was wonderful, bed very comfortable, and overall we had a great stay. We will definitely stay here again when back in Paris.

• Andre (10/5): Paris Vacation - Excellent location in the Latin Quarter near the universities and Notre Dame. Excellent access to multiple Metro stations make travelling throughout Paris very easy. The hotel is very clean and well appointed. Rooms are small but very well laid out and quiet. The spa was a really nice unexpected treat.

• Farzan (10/5): Wonderful - Wonderful staff , we had our luggage delayed from the airline and the staff of the hotel actually helped us all till we get them back , the area is nice and close to a lot of restaurants, 15 minutes walk to Norte dam , and convenient to get to metro, if you have more than one luggage I suggest to book the bigger room
• Verified traveler (4/5): Completely overpriced for what it is - We stayed in a suite and it was very expensive at £450 a night. At this price we did expect a very high level of service, decent size room and well looked after property. Unfortunately what we got was not that. The walls were very thin so you could hear all your neighbours. The internal doors needed an oil as they were creaking (we could also hear our neighbours' doors creaking. Our heating/aircon units were completely broken meaning although we kept turning the temperature down, the bedroom and lounge area were boiling (not great if you have a baby you don't want overheating!). We did speak to the hotel but it took them until the second day of our stay to sort the door creaking issue out and the heating issue was never fixed. There were also issues with the bath tub/shower unit as the only temperatures you could get was freezing or scorching. The hotel had a new wing build fairly recently. Perhaps they should have been less greedy and spend that money ensuring the original building was maintained before investing in more rooms. Again, if we had paid half the price, I would have said it was an okay hotel. At this price, even in Paris, we could have stayed at a 5 star hotel with bigger room, better maintained and in just as nice an area. We will not be returning. Staff were average for Paris hospitality standards i.e. not very helpful but not rude. Downstairs pool is nice and a good temperature but jets were broken on our second day. The steamroom -barely working.
