Deshawna (8/5): We would totally stay again but request a room away from the elevators. - The property is beautiful and well set up. It was a one stop shop for my husband and I. We arrived and did not have to drive anywhere else. We could walk to dinner, the spa, and the market. The staff were very nice. My only problem was that our room was by the elevator which created a lot of noise between hearing others doors close and the 3am chit chat sessions in the halls by the elevator did not create the most restful nights sleep.

eileendS290IL (10/5): Quick Get Away - We were looking for a quick getaway to decompress from the holidays, and had a wonderful experience at the Inn. The facility is well appointed, clean and inviting. The staff was welcoming, helpful and attentive. We chose a Queen Garden suite, which had a sitting room with a fireplace, which was a great addition for a winter stay. We also did the breakfast package, which included a cooked to order breakfast at the Marketplace. The package was $30 towards your breakfast order, which we squeaked in just under. This was a much more satisfying meal than most buffet syle hotel breakfasts, since it was cooked fresh for us, and we could choose from the menu. My one comment was going to be as a tea drinker, the in room coffee service did not have any tea options, or even a way to make hot water. I contacted the front desk, and the helpful staff member ( Henry) gave me a tea service- a hot water kettle and tea bags. ( I always carry my own, but this was a nice touch.) We truly enjoyed our stay, and we will be back soon.
Gemmy5 (10/5): Charming Resort - Very enjoyable stay. Charming resort with beautiful grounds. We stayed in a suite in the main resort. The suite was perfect for three people with some privacy. The room was decorated nicely with a gas fireplace. The bathroom was huge with a large double sink area. The restaurant, Knoxies was excellent, great atmosphere. Cute store and lobby area. The fire pits were enjoyable along with the Chefs garden. I only wish they had a pool option for my son in late Oct. They only offer outdoor pools in season. The hotel is located next to a very busy highway and can be loud. However, it wasn’t bad in room. My only dislikes: no full-length mirror and the room got stuffy at night with no way to lower the air-conditioning below a set temp. Otherwise, nice stay and I hope to return.

There were very few guests but we were given a room with a roof covered with h&a conditioning units. When we booked we were assured we could use a gift card but when we checked out we were told that it was not accepted. I was told that I had been subverted by a look alike site on booking.com and that it’s not the first time they have seen it happen. I had no idea I had even booked through booking.com until I saw the receipt. This seems to be something that you would want to address to avoid disappointment and undue expense for your customers. I intend to contact booking.com as well.

Eva (10/5): Near perfect place, worth visiting again - Everything is near perfect: location, accommodation, restaurant, facilities, and staff. I have been charged for 2 small water bottles consumed in the room. I assumed that these were complementary as they were labelled with the Inn logo. There were other large bottles available (as well as other items) and clearly intended for purchase. It is common in many prime hotels all over the world for guests to be offered water as a welcome gesture, which is why I was confused. Of course, it is not a big deal, just a $10 nuisance.

Dreamer53326228881 (8/5): CBBC is a hidden gem - We stayed for two nights to celebrate my birthday and enjoy a spa treatment. The grounds are beautiful, and the location is ideal—close enough to shopping and fishing spots if you want to venture off property, yet it feels like you're worlds away from the city. We stayed in one of the cottages, which gave us a sense of privacy and seclusion. Dinner at Knoxi's was a highlight, especially thanks to our server, Cher, who truly made the evening memorable. We gave the resort four stars and would definitely consider returning. However, we did notice that the staff often seemed rushed and not as welcoming or pleasant as you'd expect at a resort. It was noticeable enough to impact the overall experience.

There were leaks under the sink in the bathroom. Since there were towels to catch the water, it meant someone knew it was a problem. The room was too expensive to have these two major problems. Vacation280873 (10/5): FANTASTIC GETAWAY - Chesapeake Bay and Beach Club is a lovely property with amazing accommodations, beautiful grounds, and fantastic dining experiences. Six female friends found welcoming places outside and inside (one friend stayed in a cottage) to gather and enjoy. Michelle, the contact person, was helpful with both making arrangements and during the stay.

We have stayed there every season since that time averaging about 6 stays each bringing family and friends to enjoy. We have become family to this remarkable place and are treated as such each visit there. The staff are very hard working and ALWAYS greet you with a smile and are incredibly kind going out of their way to make our stay perfect. The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. The restaurant and bar serve delicious food and drinks. The setting is gorgeous with outside dining, pool, spa and fire pit with rockers to enjoy in the evenings. The foyer is very inviting also with a separate seating area with fireplace and comfy couches. The Market sandwiches and salads are delicious and a nice option for bringing lunch on the boat.also very nice for breakfast. They serve a variety of coffees with specially made ones daily. The staff are off the charts accommodating always making sure we have our needs met. Michelle is always there for us making arrangements and assisting in finding rooms that suit our needs. She consistently goes above and beyond and she has become family to us. We look forward to returning this season for more relaxing and outstanding stays. Thank you to all your staff. The Moore's

It happens - but probably could have placed caller on hold as the call lasted more than five minutes. Staff was sincerely apologetic.

Adventure57157685208 (10/5): Fantastic Stay & family friendly upscale vibe - What a GEM! Found this by chance when stuck in traffic trying to get home to NY from SC and let me just say, WOW. What a beautiful spot. Upscale but family friendly and at a great price point. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy, the food at Moxey’s was DELICIOUS and had a lot to offer for picky kids. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful and the grounds are so beautiful. We walked around in the rain to check it all out because it was just so nice! We were pleasantly surprised and could not complain about a single thing. We had littles with us, so I was nervous - but the staff were SO friendly and accommodating to them. We think we will find ourselves “Stuck in traffic” every time we travel south from now on just so we can stop and stay here again!

Barbara (6/5): Disappointing - The hotel is very nice looking both public rooms and guest rooms. However, there’s a policy that your room is not attended to unless you are there over two nights. I would think for $300 a night that you could Al least have your bed made!

H1634QPmattheww (10/5): Awesome Wedding Venue! - Stayed here for my Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law's wedding was an amazing time and experience. Rooms were amazing and the staff was kind and accommodating. Only downside was I lost my water bottle and was unable to find it. The wedding venue was gorgeous and made the whole day great for our family.

2008Vision (10/5): A little pricey but well worth it! - Excellent stay. Super nice people, friendly staff, clean rooms, grounds are immaculate. We went for Valentine's weekend and also ate at Knoxie's table (A+). Nespresso machines in the room were a nice plus. Great views and overall great experience, we will definitely go again.
O5441KOjohnp (10/5): Fantastic - We experienced a very friendly check in with a lady by the name of Courtney, and she couldn't have been nicer. She gave us vouchers for meals and drinks. I can't begin to say how courteous she was to us. My wife and I went for my wife's birthday, and it was absolutely fabulous. My wife did the spa, and it was great. We had dinner at the restaurant, and it was great. It would be hard to find a better hotel. We are going back. We highly recommend this to everyone if you want to have a great experience.

There were nice cozy places to sit and chat all around the hotel. I wish it wasn’t incredibly windy as I would’ve enjoyed sitting around the bonfire.I enjoy when accommodations, food and spa are all at the same location . The staff was very helpful and kind. I was not happy with the central heating system. I was sweating bc the heat was cranking in all areas of the hotel. It was inescapable. We were also unable to fully control the temp beyond 68-72 degrees, in our room and it wasn’t as comfortable as I hoped. Next time I will bring my fan !

I1470TZrobertb (10/5): The Beach Club made our 20th anniversary celebration everything we had hoped for - We stayed at the Inn from New Year's eve into the morning of January 2, 2025, to celebrate Christmas, New Year's, and our 20th anniversary all on one special occasion. We live nearby, but selected Chesapeake Bay Beach Club after researching first-rate options as far-flung as Washington, DC and Ocean City, Maryland. We did that because the Inn, Spa, and Knoxie's restaurant offered the special experiences we sought all in one convenient location. We had high hopes...and the Beach Club staff exceeded them all. Their service and amenities went above and beyond our expectations -- from Nikki at the Inn's desk, who went out of her way to create a way for me to securely transport our floral arrangement; to Finn, who transported our luggage to our suite, then our decor to Knoxie's for our anniversary meal; restaurant managers Tom Finnan and Jared Stiles, who made special arrangements for our 20th Anniversary dining table; to Morgan, who was our server during our New Year's eve, and Taylor, who served us during our anniversary brunch on New Year's Day; to the Spa's staff members Brandon, who gave my wife a relaxing massage, and Connor, who provided her a soothing facial. All of these people could not have been more professional, attentive, and friendly. Finally, the food at Knoxie's was superb. The filet mignon, prime rib, and poached salmon were delicious, excellently prepared and beautifully presented. All in all, the staff at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club made our celebratory occasion memorable, and delivered their services flawlessly. We couldn't be more pleased, and we give this venue our highest recommendation.

The room where we dined was spacious and the food and beverage service was stellar. The staff were accommodating, well-trained professionals.
