• Annabelle (9/5): Great hotel find in Kandy - It is literally right around the corner from the cultural dance centre, which we did not plan but was a happy surprise. Beautiful view of Kandy from the breakfast area. We felt it was a great price and the staff were lovely, and breakfast very decent! The bed was a little hard, but very manageable and still slept ok.

• Gianni (9/5): Great stay! - The room had a great view, and overall was comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were good. We only stayed one night and didn't need to go to the centre during our stay, but it would have been quite the walk, so you probably need to take a tuktuk. We booked a family room with a view, however this was not available when we arrived. The staff gave us the option to have a smaller room with an extra mattress instead, which was ultimately fine.

• Daniel (5/5): Good hotel, but we had a poor experience - Room was tidy and clean. Reception staff 10 out of 10, professional, friendly and very helpful. Incredibly noisy hotel, dont expect a good nights sleep here. From the scraping of chairs on the restaurant floor and clanging of pots and pans from very early to people shouting and doors slamming day and night. Sporadic restaurant opening times which differed to the information provided to us. As a result we didn't end up eating there once. Rudly awoken one morning very early by the restaurant manager who bodly knocked on our door (we were sleeping) informing us that breakfast was closing early. Inconsiderate guests playing very loud music and singing until 2am. No one dealt with this.

Chambre (numéro 20) très mal insonorisée, qui donne sur la salle à manger très bruyante de 6h à minuit. Nous n’avons donc quasiment pas su dormir ! C’est dommage car la chambre était confortable pour le reste, mais c’est un gros point négatif. De plus le ventilo ne fonctionnait pas.

One night I had a problem with wasps, and the very next day he immediately installed a mesh on my window so they wouldn’t come in again. All praise and full recommendation!

• Sally (5/5): The stay was overshadowed by the smelly rooms. - The location was great, not too far for city tours. The man that worked the breakfasts was very nice and efficient. We got two economic rooms, not realising this meant no windows and no ventilations…. ( need to choose a room with a balcony and view ) Compared to other hotels it was not the friendliest.

It was super noisy, people were passing by the window and I couldn’t even open the curtains. It was only one night so I didn’t have even time to complain. I would definitely not recommend or book again.

Could have a shower curtain in the bathroom to avoid making it so wet when using the shower.

The location is perfect—quiet and peaceful, far from the city noise and hustle. Definitely recommend — very good value for money. I didn’t like the restaurant. I wasn’t happy with my dinner, and breakfast was disappointing—old toast and cold, lumpy French toast. The butter and jam appeared to have been used by a previous customer and even had crumbs in them. Overall, the value for money was not good.

Erg harde bedden, ventilator werkte slecht (alleen op stand 5 maar dat was gelijk weer erg hard), ontbijt viel tegen. De familie kamer zit direct naast het restaurant en het is erg gehorig.

• Hilde (9/5): - We zijn enorm warm ontvangen door het team van Nature Walk! Vanwege de hevige regenval in deze periode hebben we een aantal dagen extra moeten blijven. Het team deed er alles aan om het ons en alle andere gasten zo goed en comfortabel mogelijk te maken ondanks de omstandigheden (geen stroom, weinig water etc.) Ze hebben ons geholpen met het wassen van onze was en gezorgd dat we iedere dag heerlijk konden eten. Ook de kamers waren schoon en comfortabel.

• Sasmit (10/5): Excellent value for money option in Kandy - Great views from the top of a small hill. The staff were extremely courteous. The wifi and AC were great. Clean room. Gave us a welcome drink. On our request, they accepted card payment and voluntarily waived off any surcharges. Given the modest cost of the room, this was an excellent stay and I recommend them very highly.

Las vistas desde la habitación son increibles y el personal fue muy amable con nosotras Aunque está lejos de la carretera principal, hay que subir una cuesta para llegar al alojamiento. Os recomiendo moveros a todos los sitios en tuk-tuk.

Staff were great (when we could find them). Couldn't find any staff when needed later in our stay. They only appeared to be there at check in & check out. Air con in the room didn't do anything (but there was a fan which worked well) but couldn't raise this with staff as we couldn't find them but overall would recommend.
