- Eric (6/5): - Overall average but definitely needs work. Every ice machine on every floor was broken / out of order. The climate control in the room was unstable. I would wake up hot at night and at other times it was fine. The thermostat on the wall and on the AC unit itself did nothing when I turned it down so probably controlled by mgmt. Other than that it was clean enough for me and everything else in the room worked. The breakfast was also good and a nice bonus as many suites with a kitchenette do not even have breakfast.

- Rebecca (4/5): Awful - Lamp was rusty, black hair on the bed, check in girl, was outside with her BABY when we arrived and had to wait to be checked in. The girls friends were hanging out in the lobby as well and the bed gave me a backache. Oh and the toilet didn’t flush correctly. Only thing was good, was the waffle at breakfast!

- Oscar (2/5): - This was our first time staying at this hotel And will most definitely be our last. We stayed 3 nights at this place and not once did we have house keeping clean our room or replace our towels with fresh clean ones. By the second night of our stay, we walked down to the lobby to ask the man on duty for 2 clean towels, he proceeded to say, "How many beds does your room have? So you're telling me you have NO towels in your room? I'm going to recommend that you bring your dirty towels down here so we can wash them for you". After telling us they were short on towels, he handed us two towels... I said very little to the man to prevent an argument but, WE have to bring our towels to YOU??? Last I checked we were the paying customers and every room is required a DAILY cleaning and restock! To add to this we killed a total of 6 roaches and slept in stained sheets and not one ice maker was working, all with out of order signs. We were also assigned a room facing IH35 were you could hear every single passing vehicle in the middle of the night. Nobody to really blame for that but still, if you plan on staying here, ask for a room thats facing the oposite side of the highway so you can actually sleep.
- Annalisa (2/5): - The moment I walked in, I was sideeyed by a lady at the front desk, who said I wasnt able to check in early, understandable. We asked about the pool, she said it was going to be closed due to a wedding party, we weren’t going to be able to use it. At the time of checking in, we were greeted by Mario, super amazing guy! Our rooms didn’t lock, we had issues with our TVs. No one was in the pool, both days. My kids were upset that they couldn't enjoy the sun in the pool. On our last night, we asked for extras towels, Andy at the front desk told us it was 2 bath towels, & 2 wash cloths per room only, & the hotel didn’t have extras to hand out. It was me & another guest asking for towels to shower up after a hot long day. She was given 2 towels. I was given one. && before Andy gave me a clean towel, he tried to give me what looked like used towels that were there on his desk. We brought towels in town at a Dollar General. Breakfast was super good, the Texas waffles! Staff was AMAZING! Two cleaning ladies helped us out with an extra blanket. Lastly we had our kids with us, && we got a suite with a pull out bed. We had to rearrange the furniture in the room to pull it out. That mattress was super uncomfortable. We’ll be checking out another hotel when we’re back in town.

She did after another 10 minutes and when I got to room there was no remote. I returned to desk where she handed me one but it didn’t work. I called and she came up with another one. The ice machine and the coffee maker also were “broken.” Breakfast was not hot and the clerk said they were waiting for the “truck”. This was 8:45am so we just left. Terrible experience and unusual for an Expedia booking

- TERRY (4/5): - Pulling in at night, no lights in parking lot (looked closed). Nobody told me that there was a bar in the hotel. That would've been nice. Room reeked of mildew. No shampoo, no sheets for the pullout. Pullout sofa is impossible to use. Had to sleep on regular sofa. I asked about breakfast at check in and was told it was from 5-9. Arrived for breakfast at 7:48 and there was no eggs or sausage left. I asked if there was more coming and they informed me that they didn't prepare any more and were not going to make any more. The pool was beautiful.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Do not stay there! - Definitely would not stay there again. Dried food in sink, floor had mud all over it, sink drain was clogged. Hair on the bathroom tub wall, hair in the bed sheets and on pillow cases as well as some other debris, air conditioner smelled like an ash tray everytime it turned on, no coffee pot in room, coffee pot in breakfast area was broken, elevators were broken, milk that was poured inside pitcher had milk rings on it like it had been sitting outside at various levels. I'm sure I'm forgetting something but that's currently what I remember off hand. I would absolutely pick any other hotel besides this one! Had I known you could upload photos prior to this review I definitely would've taken and uploaded them!

- Verified traveler (8/5): Overall good deal but with some trade offs. - Overall for the price of about $70 it was a good deal. Room was clean and the service was prompt. However, the elevator was broken, the shower did not have a curtain, and a knob on the stove was broken. The problems were addressed promptly during my stay. The breakfast is OK but things run out fast but it is unique for a suite to offer free breakfast anyway. Regarding the comfort there was lots of noise from some kind of motor or machine running, maybe it was the laundry room but not sure, and you could hear lots of doors shutting in the early morning hours.

Great Hotel still. - They had a local problem never experienced before with them, all clean personnel quit their job and a room that should be assigned to me since a day before was assigned uncleaned and there was no other available to stay, I have to go to a different local hotel. The Manager was never present physically nor over the phone... this issue was resolved with a full refund for both nights.

Went back down stairs and told the front desk representative. He called the manager because they didn’t have any rooms available. I could hear manager on the phone, she was rude to her employee and didn’t really care about the issue.

- Carlos (6/5): Decent stay in Cotulla - The bed and pillows were by far the best since I have been traveling these past 9 months. The elevator was out of order and my room was on the third floor. The TV would malfunction until I unplugged it for a minute then plugged it back in. After that it worked fine.
- Edward (10/5): Not exactly Handicap friendly - Extremely clean hotel. Breakfast was satisfactory . Only ding I will give is the hotel has no carport to drive under to unload your bags and no sliding glass doors. It had 2 sets of heavy doors that must be pulled to open and it makes it difficult come through while pushing the luggage cart. Also there is railroad near by so you can clearly hear the trains horns.

- Victor (8/5): - It's a well located suite/hotel next to I-35 in Cotulla. It's really used by longhaul truckers, highway, oil and gas, and construction contractors. It's a nice property, it has all the basics and it is clean. Decor is not my style at all (who cares), TV works, but what doesn't work is the WiFi. If you're looking to stay here and you need a reliable Internet connection, this is not your place. Other than that, it's a convenient and safe option to stay when you're traveling to Laredo, TX from up North and you don't want to arrive too late into Laredo.

- Janice (10/5): Go here for the personal touch!! - I was supposed to have a queen bed but had a king so that was nice surprise. The desk also told me if there was ANYTHING I needed just let them know and they would take care of it. Very friendly and made me feel like they were happy I stayed there. Will stay again.

This time the first floor room looked worn and beaten up. Most of the cabinets, walls, and doors looked like they has seen better days. The kitchen area, sitting area, and bed were good. Needs more lighting. A little TLC would go a long way.
