Guest Reviews
- Stela (10/5): - Clean room, comfy beds. My only recommendation is to install a hanger hook for towels in the bathroom.
- Karon (6/5): Decent Place to Stay - Parking was convenient, the room was clean & offered bottled water, coffee to make, shampoo & soaps. However, it became very noisy after midnight & there was no ice machine on premises. For the price it was a decent place to stay.
- ROGER (4/5): - Extended stay location with kitchen, but...No plates. No utensils. No cups/drinking glasses of any kind (not even in bathroom for brushing your teeth). No Kleenex!!! Two bed suite, with only two towels total. No coffee maker.
Get the picture? You have to bring EVERYTHING other than the bed. And the front desk staff wants very little contact with their guests. Absolutely refused to segment bill for two guests in one room. "Hospitality" should not be applied here.
- Ryan (8/5): - Room was clean, roomy and very happy w the price: need to update towels and communicate better what is not in room
- Sara (10/5): - Very large room with full fridge, micro and stove top. Quiet total and area. Very personable and helpful staff.
- Michele (10/5): - Cost
- Claire (4/5): - No room amenities at all. Bathroom had 1 small bar of soap -- no shampoo, conditioner, etc. Closet space had no hangers. Coffee maker but no coffee or even cups. In fact, no cups at all in the room. Limited front desk hours.
- Willie (10/5): - Easy to get around
- john (2/5): - Very sketchy area you have to drive through another parking lot to get into the hotel. I would actually call it a motel.
- Karen (10/5): - I needed an iron $ ironing board and they had one onsite so I didn’t have to buy one at Walmart across the street. That was epic. Please let anyone coming that you need to bring you own blow dryer, and shampoo/bath soap. A/C worked greet and bed was fantastic!
- Pat (4/5): - There were no pillow cases on any of the pillows, and all looked dirty and used. There was also tons of noise coming from the adjoining rooms.
- Benita (6/5): It was okay - This hotel could stand to be cleaned. The covers on the bed were old. The baseboards were dirty. The TV also went off an hour and a half before check out. But overall it did the job for the night we needed. We got some cleaning supplies and cleaned for ourselves.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great room - Great place to stay, very much appreciated the quick booking!
- Regina (10/5): 2025 Dukes and Boots - Our room was immaculate and we slept the night away.
- Craig (2/5): - No one was there for me to chk in i didnt kno you had to be there at a certain time
- john (10/5): - Good stay
- Makinley (10/5): - I’ve rented with them before! We got there at check in time and were informed they upgraded us to a suite which was awesome after our 13 hr drive! They were super nice and joked around with us. Will definitely be staying again!
- Chris (10/5): - Overall 5 stars in my opinion. Great place if you just need a place to shower and lay your head down. The lady at the front desk was great and made the check in and check out process very easy. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place that has affordable options instead of a really expensive hotel.
- Timothy (10/5): - Clean, friendly staff
- David (2/5): - This is not a good short stay place. The beds are hard as rocks, there are zero amenities, and the long stay residents are loud and discourteous.
I do not recommend this place to anyone, even the budget minded.
- Kay (6/5): - Basic hotel for basic needs
- Terrance (10/5): - Its nice clean, front desk lady always nice close to plenty of food and shopping
- Candace (4/5): - Air didn’t work
- Z2575IChaleym (2/5): Terrible experience, worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. - Stayed there 7 days. First day the front stove eye wouldn’t work, maintenance came to fix it, he said it was fixed but it wasn’t. Second day he comes out to fix it yet again but fails to fix it, he eventually takes the whole stove insert out and replaces it, but still doesn’t work. Third day I’m making dinner for my family on one stove eye, I turn around and my cabinet door is hanging on by one hinge. I go to the front office and ask if they can fix it but they are acting like it’s my fault, guy comes in and uses a drill and it’s fixed in 2 mins or less. No maintenance man on the weekends. This hotel doesn’t like it when you ask for things at the front desk or ask to borrow the dust pan because they don’t provide a broom or dust pan. The room keys constantly mess up and need to be fixed from the front office, and if you get locked out it’s $20 to get back in. The side doors are broken so they leave a rock in the side door for anyone to come in, plus no one is there after 10pm. Smells like marijuana in the parking lot and in the lobby. No cups, plates or silverware.Toilet kept getting stopped up, wouldn’t let me borrow a plunger. WiFi will boot you off every 10-15 mins. On the seventh day they wouldn’t let me renew, told me I had to be gone by 11am next day, I asked why and they said it was due to the cabinet being messed up. Manager comes to my door 1 hour later with police officers telling me I had to be gone in 1 hour that day. I asked for at least 2 hours because I have 3 children, one them being a newborn. I am so shocked about how this hotel has treated my family. I personally just want an apology from corporate, or for them to at least call me. I can’t get in contact with corporate.
- Carolyn (8/5): - Maurice was a great staff front desk member. He helped us with our reservation and we stayed another night. Wish they had breakfast, but for the cost it was comfortable.
- Kathryn (4/5): - The property itself was fine - nothing special, but had the basics as well as a fridge, cooktop, and kitchen sink. My issue is the fact that my keycard stopped working the evening of 12/31 (Night 4 of my 7 night stay). We had gone out for New Years and the key worked fine when we left. When we arrived back at around 12a, the card would not work. We tried multiple times with no success. As there are no front desk staff after 9pm, we also tried calling the emergency number but no one answered. After about 15 min of trying to get in and then calling the emergency number, we found another hotel for that evening and left. Not only was that a very negative experience (as I also had to work in the morning, and had to go to work in my clothes from the previous evening as no one arrives at the front desk until after 8am which is when I needed to be at work), I was told that likely they could not refund the night that I was not able to use their facilities due to a non-functioning key. I was told my information would be passed on to the general manager of the property but I have yet to hear from anyone. After this experience I would definitely NOT recommend staying at a facility where no one can help you after 9pm. As an aside, we were told the keys can be deactivated if kept next to your phone or credit cards so I took extra care and made sure the room key was kept in a separate location from the credit cards and phone throughout my stay, including the night in question.
- Jason (6/5): Dirty Towels/Nice Staff - Stay was fine for the type of hotel. Room was large. Dividers between the queen beds was unusual but welcomed. The only problem was that there were only two sets of towels. When we were going to take showers, one towel had pubic hair and the shower rag was dirty. So we only had one set and since we stayed overnight Saturday, the reception desk wasn't open until 945 but we had to depart by 8. So I did not get a shower in that morning because of dirty towels. The room had no closet where any towels or sheets could be found but the towels made us question the cleanliness of the entire room.
- Sheila (6/5): - Definitely a no-frills property. No hair dryer in the room. No extra roll of toilet paper. No extra towels. no one manning the front desk before 8:00am. They did give us extra pillows when we requested them. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay, they had a shower and a clean bed, but there isn't much else nice that I can say.

- David (8/5): Great service, good choice for visiting - This was a good basic hotel option for someone looking to come to Auburn for a game or to visit the university. The staff was really friendly.
- Tammie (4/5): - Booked property late for college football game so limited choices. Room is very lacking. Terrible linens and comforter. One tiny bar of soap. No shampoo/conditioner. No hairdryer. The walls are so thin we could hear the people next door fighting loudly the two days we were there.
Front desk was helpful and nice.
- George (10/5): A decent clean place for a weekend visit - Just a nice place to stay during my homecoming weekend. Very clean and decent.
- Jamae (8/5): - The elevator was down right after we checked in. Just seemed odd but I enjoyed my stay otherwise
- Juanita (2/5): Horrible experience - Well before I could check in I was called and told my card didn’t go thru. I wondered how this happened because I had my American Express connected to this reservation. I was confused so I call my credit card company they stated my card was ran 8 TIMES and now I’m out of town with a locked card saying fraudulent charges behind this hotels bad service. I’m beyond pissed still and I will never stay here again.
- JEFF (8/5): - The property was very clean and easy to find. It appears to have been renovated within the last 5 years or so. Check in was seamless and the beds were comfortable enough. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful. There are no amenities to speak of in this hotel nor do you get maid service on a daily basis. You can request more soap towels etc at the check-in desk along with an iron and ironing board since it does not come with the room. I guess the biggest downside with this hotel is that the front desk closes by 9pm It stays closed until 9:00 a.m.. I needed to check the front desk for a lost and found item.., I lost a jersey late at night and could never catch the front desk open in order to see if they had it. Another big negative was the fact that the elevator broke down during my stay and it remained broken until I left. I was on the second floor and have a slight disability so that was not cool with me. Overall, I would certainly stay with them again given the price even with the few inconveniences. I stayed at this hotel for 4 days...
- Courtney (4/5): Was okay, not great. - The lady at check in was super nice! However the rest of the experience was not the best. Within being there 2 hours the elevator was out of service, so we had to climb 3 flights of stairs from Friday to Sunday. Our neighbor or the whole floor really was extremely loud. With the 7,000 No Smoking signs all over the building it still smelt like cigarettes and cleaning products. The room was okay. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were extremely flat so we didn’t get the best sleep the two nights we were there. The exterior doors do not lock at night like they say they do, so while the front desk is not there at night anyone can literally come and go as they please without a key card to get in the building. I was so ready to leave at 7AM but since no one was there to check us out we had to call the “emergency” number listed at the front desk and leave our key card laying out on the desk, where once again anyone could come in and get them because anyone who doesn’t have a key card can access the building at any time. Over all I think it was over priced for what it was.
- Donna (6/5): - It was very clean and very basic but we only needed one night and it served its purpose. Front staff was very nice and helpful.
- Sandra Sue (6/5): - Only the basics had to ask for towels, wash clothes and soap. Kitchen but no pans or plates, cup etc. Only plus convenient to the college.
- Samuel (10/5): - Yes
- Raynesha (10/5): - Great check in time
- William (4/5): - This is a bare-bones operation meaning the front desk closes at 9 PM, no ice machine, no Do Not Disturb hangtags, and no hand towels. A hairdryer, and a few other things are available from the front desk, however. The kitchenette does feature a two burner cooktop along with a small, full-size refrigerator/freezer. I was woken up two mornings in a row by loud TVs in the adjoining room, not to mention a third night, when the couple next-door was arguing. I can only recommend this place for one overnight stay and not an extended stay as mine was. I will not be returning to this hotel.
- Bryant (4/5): - Bed was horrible
- Laura (10/5): - Check-in was quick. The room was clean and comfortable. There are no amenities at all. No cups. No facial tissue. No shampoo. No breakfast.
- Joseph (4/5): - Bed was uncomfortable, pillows were flat, no amenities on site. Noisy
- Alan (8/5): - The property has been renovated and is clean. The manager, Regina, was very friendly and helpful, and she talked to us about things she wanted to improve and was very open to suggestions. This is definitely a good place to stay for the price.
- Chris (10/5): - Every staff member was so courteous and friendly. Would definitely stay here again
- Erin (10/5): Decent affordable location - Was pleasantly surprised with the facility. Had no issues with my stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I was not sure how this hotel was going to be. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised. It was VERY clean and the people at the desk were friendly and helpful. We stayed for a game weekend. I would definitely recommend.
- Sarah (10/5): - Na
- Cara (6/5): - The staff were excellent, accommodating and courteous. There were 2 roaches in our room, which left the room feeling dirty. Beds were very uncomfortable, reminiscent of pull-out couches. No soap in the bathroom, no hairdryer. Zero amenities. High price point for poor quality facility.
- chris (8/5): - Stayed weekend for a AU Game. Location was good and clean
- joyce (4/5): - The staff was super nice. They’re doing the best with what they have. The towels and wash cloths were basically rags - very worn out and certainly weren’t a great quality to begin with. Hooks to hang wet towels were in the far side of the sleeping area - not in the bathroom. To use a hair dryer or an iron you go to the front desk to get one. No blankets on the beds - just a nylon/poly bedspread over the sheets. There is a two burner electric stovetop for extended stay - the knobs in our room were melted. Location is not walking distance to Auburn campus. We knew that from the map location - but the description says otherwise. We knew what we were getting into from reviews (limited options due to last minute plans) but it’s a shame - regular maintenance and upgrades could improve this experience a lot. The desk staff and cleaning staff really seems to care.
- mark (10/5): - Nice place very clean
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay. Great management. - There was an issue with our room assignment which management worked to resolve (once we brought it to their attention) and then reassigned us. The Queen Suite was perfect. Spacious, clean, quiet, & conveniently located.
- Michele (10/5): - Overall the stay was good! We had a minor issue with the drain stopper in bathroom sink. Otherwise, hotel was clean, room was nice, and staff went above and beyond. If you are expecting a fancy hotel then don’t stay. If you are looking for clean and affordable this is your place!
- Sara (8/5): - There is a damp smell but it was clean. There is no one at the desk for overnight or early morning. The beds were comfortable and there was ample space. Better price than anyone near by - no frills but decent.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Bare Bones - It was what it was. It was very bare bones….
Things to know:
No closet
Our room looked directly into the parking lot.
Tiny kitchenette complete with fridge. No utensils or other kitchen items.
It was parents weekend and I booked late. It was fine for what we needed.
- Whitney (10/5): - Staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. We will stay there again.
- Todd (2/5): - I arrived at 9:15 pm after driving all day to find that property office was completely closed and the building locked. There was a sign outside the entrance stating no check ins are accepted only during office hours of 9:00 am - 9:00 pm.
Another gentleman who prepaid for his room was already waiting outside when I arrived. There was a number to call posted outside the entrance but no one answered. I had to find another hotel.
A highly unusual policy like not accepting any check ins after 9:00 pm should be prominently disclosed, not buried in links and small print.
Expedia should strongly consider not providing booking services for this property.
- Lakesha (8/5): Clean and quiet room - The room was clean and quiet. It even had a kitchenette in the room which was very pleasing.
- Julie (2/5): - Beware!!!! Hotel reception closes at 9pm. We arrived late due to traffic and weather and were not able to check in. No one answers the phone when you call either. Expedia does not notify you of these details prior to making your non-refundable reservation.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I don't think I've stayed at a dirtier hotel. While affordable, it was supposedly renovated in 2018. We had two rooms...one smelled like a tandoori grill and the other smelled of rotten onions. All the febreexe in the store wouldn't mask the smell. The only redeeming quality of the hotel was the friendly staff.
- Frankie (6/5): - I liked the location more than anything for the price.
- Jama (10/5): - Due to a fender bender on my way into town I was late arriving on a Sunday and missed 6pm check-in. The night manager came right away when I called and was so gracious/unbothered. This is a no frills hotel - no ice machine, no cups in the room, sparse but very clean. The customer service and affordability definitely make up for the lack of amenities. Great option when it’s a busy weekend for Auburn and hotel rooms are at a premium!
- Lakesha (6/5): Not the best but will do - Bed spread was not clean. I slept in the chair that night and checked out at 4am. I couldn’t stay there another minute. Musty, drafty smell all over the building.
- Damario (10/5): - ☺️
- Ginny (4/5): - Beds were like sleeping on concrete.
The 2nd floor hallway smelled terribly.
- Laurie (2/5): - We had trouble with our key.
- 189kaitlinh (2/5): awful experience!! do NOT stay here - absolutely terrible experience. we paid $185 for one night in a two queen bed room. when we arrived, our room was nasty. every piece of furniture had stains on it. the beds had secretion stains, unidentifiable stains, and pubic hairs on them and it was obvious they had not been cleaned. once we cleaned our beds, they were also rock solid with itchy sheets and made for a horrible night’s rest. the general aroma of the room and furniture was sweat and smoke. the bathroom sink drain stopper was broken and had to be forced open in order to drain the sink. don’t waste your time or your money under any circumstances. in the photos, the large stain is an unidentifiable stain and the small stain is very clearly a secretion stain. the pubic hairs were under the comforters and are not pictured
- Ronnie (10/5): Very good. - All went very well. Quiet. Guy at desk was efficient and very courteous.
- Paul (4/5): Won’t be back. - Outdated. Not clean.
- Elizabeth ann (10/5): - Great location, very clean and the staff was very friendly and professional.
- joseph (10/5): - Clean, friendly, bed was a little hard, but would stay there again
- Laura (2/5): Gross. Don’t stay here - This place is a dump! How it has a 7 rating is beyond me! I had to add a night to my trip and the great hotel I was at didn’t have any rooms. The room stunk like stale cigarettes and had an overall feeling of uncleanliness. I got Febreeze fabric and air and sprayed it down. That took care of the smell. After killing 2 stink bugs (I think that’s what they were), I noticed the property as a whole got louder as the evening wore on. After listening to 2 people in next room argue for over an hour (I could hear EVERY WORD spoken) I decided it was worth it to miss the event I was staying for and drive home. I told the guy in the office about my experience. (I just told him. No yelling or anything rude) He just looked at me and didn’t say anything. It’s a dump. I DO NOT recommend!!
- Jason (10/5): - Good stay, friendly staff
- Rhianna (2/5): - The front desk staff and manager were very rude. Stayed there with a service dog and the manager refused to allow the service animal. A veteran of the USMC with his service animal!!! Very disappointing and will not stay there and will not recommend this hotel to ANYONE!!!!
- Kimberly (8/5): - Very quiet with stove and refrigerator. Extended stay so no housekeeping. Very convenient to Auburn University. I did have to do chanel search to make the tv work.
- 317kendrar (2/5): Not happy at all. - This place is absolutely ridiculous. First thing that blow me away is that they charge you $20 if you accidentally lock your self out after hours. Then my TV did not work, all they did was come in and run a scan of the Chanel’s. Told me to call them if it didn’t work. Advised them that it did not work and never heard another word nor seen them. So my entire stay I had no TV. There is no one here at night to even help with any kind of emergency.
- Blair (10/5): - Clean, newly renovated basic hotel. Staff very helpful when I could not figure out my tv. No frills, but excellent for the budget hotel it is. Lots of dining around and a Winn Dixie grocery store across the street. I stayed in a suite with kitchenette; bring any dishes/utensils you plan on using.
- Joanne (10/5): - Great service
- Jeff (8/5): - A good place to stay for football weekends. Basic, clean, reasonably priced accommodations. Convenient to campus.
The office closes at night. Be sure to arrive before the office closes.
- Steven (10/5): - We stayed here twice while visiting our son at Auburn.
Such nice people, clean rooms, and great value!
- Alice (10/5): - Will stay again! Thank you!
- Josh (10/5): - Get hotel
- Shannon (8/5): - Very good. Extremely clean. Convenient location. No complaints or dis-satisfaction at all.Only concern would be knowing the desk is only staffed until 9pm so guests need to make plans to arrive/check-in before that.
- Carla (10/5): - Great location! Great staff!
- Trenton (8/5): - Good place , came for an Auburn game and I would think about staying again!
- Jake (8/5): - Great location for a football game! It seems pretty recently renovated, especially the third floor. We did find a couple hairs but other than that it was clean. Great room for the price, all things considered. Staff was very nice and helpful!
- Rebecca (10/5): Value - Great last minute value
- Harmony (10/5): - Very nice place for a nice price
- Chandler (2/5): - I really can't rate my stay since I was not able to stay . I'm still trying to get the money back since I contacted the hotel weeks prior but due to the new policy there's no refund no matter what happens. Because of this policy i can't afford to stay in a place where life happens and there's no refund or credit to stay later.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very basic hotel. Bed and linen not comfortable. Maid service came and replaced towels, but did not make up bed??? Good place to stay on the cheap.
- Mildred (6/5): No ice machines - Everything was good just didn’t have an ice machine for the guests
- Jaison (6/5): - Upon my arrival it was only one person working the desk and he was away helping in the rooms so I stood by for over five minutes. The check in was easy but when I got to the room there was no closet to put my clothes in and then they didn’t have an iron or ironing board so if you don’t want to be wrinkled buy or bring an iron
- Kandra (10/5): - Staff was always helpful
- Erik (10/5): Hidden gem, but please don't tell anyone. - Hotel was simple and relatively anonymous. I've been by a dozen times and never noticed it, but honestly booked because it was rodeo weekend and nothing else was available. I was skeptical, but pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I almost want to give a bad review because it was great and I don't want anyone to learn about this hidden gem. Seriously, the room was clean, shower was amazing, beddring was nice, sheets were soft (and clean). Only complaint might be the towels were a little thin and the Wifi was unprotected. This is my new go-to when visiting my son at school.
- Michael (6/5): - Limited amenities (no iron or ironing board, no utensils, plates, bowls, cups in the kitchen). Elevator did not work properly getting stuck between floors.
- Caitlyn (8/5): - .
- Toni (6/5): - The Stay Plus was clean and very quiet except for our air conditioning unit. Extremely limited staff and an upcharge of $20 cash if you needed their services after hours. Definitely not a 24 hour service motel/hotel. I would expect that an Extended Stay would have some dishes and silverware to be able to cook on the two burner stove in the room but there was none. Any others I have ever been in had them. The microwave was on top of the standard size refrigerator which is totally unsatisfactory. I shouldn't have to stand on a chair ro use the microwave. The air conditioner sounded like a jet taking off...over and over. For the price, I think I will use another hotel next time I am in Auburn.
- Kyanna (4/5): - The room was note clean, including towels. And the check in process was so difficult for no reason.
