Guest Reviews
- Jennifer (4/5): Give property more attention!!! - My sister and I were there for the concert which was 10 minutes away. It was the cheapest hotel in the area. I guess that’s what you get for what you pay for but they should take a little more time and attention on the cleanliness and that everything looks like it’s in tiptop shape. the smell of the room. I can’t breathe today because of it my nose is completely clogged. It smelt very musty.
- Mauro (8/5): - Good location
- john (6/5): - this is a good location but it needs a lot of work
- Sean (10/5): - I liked the friendly motel. It was friendly. Good memories.
- Maryam (2/5): - Horrible
- Steve (2/5): - The rooms are old, mine had mouse droppings in the towels and carpet and dead bugs everywhere. The sheets were stained and had holes and the bed was sagging. Road noises all night. Next time I would rather sleep in my car.
- Bob (6/5): A night for a concert that got canceled - Cheap price cheap room, but was what you paid for.Bed was comfortable and room was decent on cleanliness. For a night was ok. Would not go any lower in standers. Staff was very friendly
- Jamie (4/5): - This motel is trashy
- David (10/5): - Close to destination and reasonably priced.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Old place - Old motel showing it's age.
No bugs and clean bed were a plus.
Shower has no bars and was only OK
- Lauren (2/5): - Absolutely unacceptable. We actually left. Could not even imagine sleeping there. It was filthy. THERE WAS BLOOD DROP STAINS ON THE CHAIR, the door didn’t close fully to the outdoors, peeling wallpaper, toilet and shower looked terrible. The deck leading to the office was rotted. We tripped going up the broken stairs. It’s completely unsafe. It was appalling and not suitable for anyone to sleep there. I’m shocked they are still in business. We were told there was no refund after we checked in so we lost $78 but there was no way I was staying there.
- Michelle (6/5): - Heat didn’t work!
- Frank (10/5): A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP - no frills, clean but dated,no ice machine, convenient to Hershey park reasonable rate no breakfast.Just a good place to get some shut eye.
- Karin (6/5): Review - Checking was at 2pm but I arrived at 12 noon hoping to check in a little early from the airport and an overnight flight but no one was in the office and it was locked. There were no other cars either. I knocked but no answer. I came back at 205 pm but the office was still locked and no answer. I waited in my car and returned in 15 minutes. The door was open and I was able to check in. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and no bedbugs. The air conditioning was effective. Everything worked and there was a refrigerator. I was there two nights and received room service. The door was not very secure. There was a dead bolt but you could see light between the door and the door frame. The plumbing all drained but every so often there was a sound of flushing and a smell of sewage. The structure is in need of repair.
- edgar (6/5): - It was okay only thing I didn't like that it was cockroach infestation the walls falling apart the ceiling was falling apart no restaurant where close by no restaurants deliver the shower was nasty
- Marissa (8/5): 8/10 - The reviews before I came here freaked me out a little… but it was in our price range so we took the chance anyways.
The rooms definitely looked older and could definitely use some work.
I always make sure to check for bed bugs and our room did not have them thankfully.
The beds were pretty comfy and the shower in the bathroom had a very good water pressure to it.
Everything was pretty quiet. You couldn’t hear others in their room or outside of their room.
I know it’s not the hotels fault, but those spotted lanternflies were everywhere so that kind of freaked us out a little bit.
We would come again if we knew we would have the same room.
- Nicholas (4/5): - This place is junk. Everything is all falling apart and it needs remodeled
- Kimberly (6/5): - The price was great, however it definitely needs to be cleaned and updated. It was probably one of the dirtiest places I ever stayed in. The mattresses show evidence of a past infestation of bed bugs. Their were a lot of dead insects in the room. The staff was super nice, just not sure why they r not cleaning these rooms.
- Mary (8/5): - Price was good. Location was convenient. Room had a strong musty smell. Wireless Internet was not accessible from the room. Service was friendly and helpful.
- Keith (6/5): - A reasonable, inexpensive hotel dod the job fir a quick over night stay!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Run down but the sheets are clean... - Motel is very run down and in need of repairs. Peeling, sagging wallpaper, furniture held together with duct tape, Chipped and dripping tub and sink, holes in the curtains, and inadequate locks. No Wi-Fi unless you left your door open! the sheets and towels were clean which made it all bearable. It was the least expensive motel I could find in the area.
- Shamar (6/5): - Needs cleaning bad
- Norma (2/5): - This motel is VERY outdated, as in 70's style. I think that's the last time the garbage cans were cleaned. There was minimal water pressure. The couple in the room next to us had a huge fight outside our room from midnight to 2am. Kept us awake. Not a very "friendly" hotel.
- George (10/5): - Friendly staff and great room for the price, will return next year!
- David (10/5): Good bang for the buck… - Room was fine, older but in decent shape. I thought a vacuum would have been in order but the room was overall okay. Front desk was very helpful during our late night/early morning check in and very accommodating.
- Thomas (6/5): Basic and adequate for a good night’s sleep - The location is convenient. The price was lower then most of the area hotels. That’s not to say that it was not priced a bit high for what it is. The staff is friendly and the room was quiet. The bed was comfortable.
While not expecting the room to be fancy, it would be good for them to make sure everything is in working order and fix the things that aren’t.
Several of the electrical outlets in the room were broken and the curtains needed to be repaired.
The light in the room was a bare bulb.
Simple freshening of the place would make a big difference. It wouldn’t have to cost a lot, but it would make a big difference.
This motel serves a purpose. A quiet night of sleep - and that’s what you get.
- William (2/5): Lights on but nobody home. - Front desk was well lit but abandoned at 10:15 pm. Stood in the rain waiting for someone to answer the office door. No one answered. Had to go elsewhere.
- Nicholas (2/5): Bed bugs here - Room had bed bugs. Staff acted like they didn’t know listen to reviewers. They switched rooms without bugs but it’s horrible. Would never stay her again. Not worth the price at all. Dirty, dated, bugs
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The door to the room didnt close or lock without a chain, the bathroom door didnt close. The room smelled, filthy walls, filthy bathroom, no toilet paper, the furniture was duct taped together. Sink trickled water , toilet seat broken. Deplorable conditions , i cant believe that the health department allows them to be open
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The staff was friendly ,but the room was horrible . Everything is look like falling apart, dangerous.
- Carrie (8/5): Hershey Pennsylvania - Cute little hotel with few rooms , a bit outdated , but inexpensive. You get what you pay for . Very clean and very friendly . Very close to Hershey amusement park . I would recommend and stay there again.
- BarbaraS (2/5): - There were bed bugs, a puddle of water on the bathroom floor, mold in the shower and on the shower curtain, the door did not lock, the frame on the door was cheaply made and was not safe, there was blood on the chair, holes were on the blanket, the curtains on the window were broken, there were paper towels stuffed in the windows, brown like marks all over the walls, and so much more.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - What I like about the property was and the people was they kept the rooms clean and they didn't bug us and they were there if we needed anything and they got it right away if we did and they will quite plot Pleasant and happy to be around when we stood see them
- Connie (2/5): - This was without doubt one of the worst places we’ve ever stayed at. There was a gap under the front door. There were 2 dead bugs on the floor right inside the door. When I went to use the bathroom, the toilet needed flushed before I used it. I pulled the shower curtain back to find hair in the tub. One of the reasons I picked this place was the ad said rooms were cleaned daily. There’s no way this room was recently cleaned. I’ve stayed at nicer places for less money.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The front desk lady was nice. Ummmm, they had HBO???
- Verified traveler (2/5): Disgusting - Blood stains on sheets, Bugs bugs bugs crawling inside the room! Worst experience ever the lady was very nice tried her best to have us feel comfortable but I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
- Nicki (4/5): - The building was completely run down. There was garbage and abandoned cars on the property. No hot water. Didnt even use the shower because it was so filthy.
- theresa (6/5): - This is my first time at this hotel. When I made the reservation , I was told the card would’ve a reservation and when I check in they told me my card was already taken out for the weekend. When we entered the room there was one towel for a guest of 3. Also there were a few mosquitoes found in the bathroom . We didn’t address this to the staff as we just slept there but i feel for paying money there should be enough towels for the amount of guests registered.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Worse place I ever stayed. Wallpaper peeing. Found someone else’s stuff in the fridge. Toothpaste spattered on the bathroom mirror. 6 squares of toilet paper. No shampoo which I guess was okay because there was no hot water. They should have paid me the$67 to stay there.
- Kim (4/5): Won’t go back - Service was friendly and prompt ; however the room was awful. It had a funny smell, the shower curtain was old and looked moldy. Paint looked old and like someone had just quickly tried to do touch ups.
Sockets were so loose , plugs would not stay in them. Tiles were peeling off around the sink.
- Karen (4/5): Nasty Room - The room was musty smelling when we got there. We obtained Lysol and sprayed the room, bought Clorox wipes to clean the mold .out of the refrigerator, upkeep wasn't good.
- AT (6/5): - Wood was old on the enterance to the office. Door stuck. No toliet paper stored in room. Drinks cost money. Noisy but quiets down at night.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I was very surprised that Expedia had that kind of hotel/motel as a choice. Please remove it. It doesn’t do any good to Expedia’s reputation.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This motel was extremely unsanitary. The room we stayed in smelled like mold, the room felt wet, and there was not only cobwebs but stains on the lamp shades. We chose this motel because of their late check-in policy, which was definitely helpful, but after reviewing the room we wished we had just kept driving. The ceiling in the bathroom looked like it was going to cave in, the tub had a ring of dirt, and the light for the sink would sometimes come on after playing with the switch for five minutes. It felt very hazardous.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - We got in late and could find noone to register us so had to stay elsewhere.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Take this hotel off of your site. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Hands down.
- Verified traveler (6/5): served the purpose but... - We were in town for the AACA Fall Meet. Although the room was clean, the condition left MUCH to be desired, and we heard a lot of road noise from the highway. I would not want to stay in Room 3 in the winter - the gaps around the door would be very drafty and we were concerned that the door wouldn't even stay locked (no chain on the inside either). The bathtub was avocado - how old does that make it? From the 70's or something? The bed was fairly comfortable and we had hot water in the shower. The fridge worked well. No hangers in the room. Had to plug in the bedside light and only 1 fixture had a light bulb. Front desk staff was very friendly but not sure we would stay again. Thankfully we didn't need to spend much time in the room!
- Joseph (2/5): Only stay here if you are desparate. - The area (inside and outside of the motel) reeked of a Port-O-Potty odor. The door lock was defective. The bathroom had ill-fitting ceiling panels and an exposed overhead lamp with no shade/covering. The entire room seemed moldy. Parts of the wooden moldings around the doors were rotted away. Duct tape was used in many places to cover cracks and gaps in the walls. There is a lot of noisy vehicle traffic right outside each door. I was glad to get out the next morning ASAP. 5 pictures attached.
- Bob (2/5): - This hotel was marginal last year, and has gone drastically downhill. The room had worn, dirty carpet and the linoleum bathroom floor had holes and was coming up. Peeling wallpaper, a 3/4 inch gap at the bottom of the door that had wind blowing through. You had to run the water ten minutes to get hot water, and there was no Internet. It almost looks like a derelict building that a poor handyman slapped repairs on. The man on duty barely spoke English and had to get help to process my card after ten minutes of fumbling. I will never stay there again. Truly terrible place.
- C3 (4/5): - I thought I was back in the "50's". A place where "on the road" workers and cheap old guys like me stay of necessity. Everything was clean. There's nothing to recommend, except price and a place to lay your head, I stayed two nights and they didn't empty the trash or make up the bed -- not that that was a problem for me , but not the norm. It is difficult to get into if your GPS isn't up to date. Otherwise, I slept like a baby. Thankx.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very nice staff, good place to stay if you just need somewhere to crash
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Rug smelled like mildew. Tv didn't work. Wi-Fi was actually the dealership across the street
- Andre (6/5): 50/50 - Front desk person could use some training.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Ac didn't work and definitely had water damage . Won't stay there again
