You should ask for a foldable thing mattress to have an extra layer. Kitchen has all the necessities, towels and toiletries in the bathroom are beautiful, and location of the apartment perfect. We’ll gladly return.

And thankfully, the gentleman working at the property brought my bag up for me and let me in a little bit early so I could sleep! Parking is just behind the building on site, which was so convenient and. I would absolutely stay here again

- Elizabeth (8/5): Excellent apartment in an ideal location - Great apartment, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Very clean with lovely toiletries and plenty of washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and washing machine tablets provided. Property manager was slow to reply when I asked about parking my colleague's motorcycle, but very helpful when he did respond. Lovely peaceful location on the northern edge of the city centre but an easy walk. 20 mins walk from the train station, 10-15 to the top end of town. A 5-10 min walk the other way takes you to the shops and restaurants in the heart of Pontcanna, and there are other pubs and restaurants even closer to hand. Sophia Gardens and Bute Park are right on the door step and Cardiff Castle is a 5 min walk. All in all, a perfect base for a city break in Cardiff, or for a work stay

- Kathleen (10/5): - Very spacious two bed two bath apartment on the top floor. Kitchen was well equipped for making breakfast and easy dinner. Check in was made easy by staff Great location. A 15 minute walk to the Castle and a little longer to the train station. Great value for the price.
- Valentina (10/5): - Prior to arrival, the communication from the property manager was excellent and meeting her in person was a welcome greeting. We were offered a different bigger apartment ( we were called upon arrival) and the following night I moved into the one I booked originally. Both apartments were super lovely and clean, bedrooms and living rooms were spacious and the decor seemed new and perfectly kept up. Kitchen was nicely accessoried. Toiletries were gorgeous. Bedrooms have black oit blinds and beds really comfortable Nice touch were double pillows on each side and fresh milk in the fridge. There is a private parking at the back for a modest extra £10. Centre and Uni are walking distance. Would certainly recommend the chain and hope to go back soon. Thank you for a very easy stay.

It was much better than staying in a hotel. Only complaint is all of the doors swung closed and wouldn't stay open! Not at all a deal breaker...I would stay there again.

We were contacted three days prior to check in and offered a new apartment. The new venue was closer to Cardiff centre and served our needs well. The computer glitch was still not resolved on the day of check in as I was sent an email to register online.

- judith (10/5): Family break - Our 2 night stay as a family was made extra special by the communication via Rashi. She went over and above to make sure we knew where we were going and checking in. Super comfortable, roomy accommodation that catered for us all ( 2year and a dog) Dog basket, dog treats and a welcome pack was a nice touch. I would highly recommend, and will definitely book again when we visit Cardiff.

Too many pre stay emails from Saco with codes I didn’t need and just added confusion and stress to a one night stay when it wasn’t needed. Luckily easily sorted by a straightforward message from employee Kieran who was a great help. Check in, after an online ptocess earlier actually only involved a quick call to be let in remotely. Really easy, why Saco bombarded me with prestay emails and codes I have no idea! Pointless. Good flat, ok price, lovely location.

Worktop a little worn and the bedroom blinds didn't kept the light out from what I assume was permanent access / security lighting to the rear of the property. However, if it had been on a social not business visit and not in a COVID lockdown, the location would have been ideal for the centre, stadium etc. with local restaurants, pubs etc.

We stayed in two bedroom apartment on top floor and had a lovely large bedroom with en suite. Would definately stay again and recommend.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Better than hotel rooms - Make sure you ring them to get check in information and parking code if you use their own parking, there are also parking spaces on the main road. The flat is spacious and generally clean but there are spots which can be cleaned better. The blinds in the bedrooms is useless in blocking sunlight, it could be a problem for people who likes dark rooms.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Spacious, comfortable apartment. - Spacious apartment. Warm, safe, quiet and comfortable. All mod cons (good quality) with extras supplied (although a grill pan would have been useful). Slight walk into town, made more pleasant by the park, but there are some bars and restaurants in the general area if you don't feel like going any further at night. Speedy response from housekeeping to 2 queries/ issues. Everything was clean except some of the dishes etc. in the cupboard. The dishwasher is a good idea but not environmentally friendly when you need to put it on when not full, so we would have been happy to wash up in the kitchen sink if a plug was supplied (there was just 2 of us). WiFi was excellent and there was a good choice of TV channels available in both the living room and bedroom. The negatives are only minor observations as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hopefully will return.

Outside, it was a beautiful old building while inside was modern and appeared almost brand new. We had plenty of space and everything we needed, including a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. The on-site parking was very convenient (although access was a little tight) and reasonably-priced for the centre of Cardiff. I am coeliac and was pleasantly surprised to find a gluten-free snack in the welcome pack. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would wholeheartedly recommend the apartment, it was perfect for our needs.

- Robert H. (10/5): Wonderful Property in Great Location - Our stay at SACO Apartments on Cathedral Rd in Cardiff was outstanding. The area is beautiful, and the apartment was well furnished. Restaurants and shops abound within easy walking distance. Property manager is on site Mon-Fri in a small green office bldg behind the main bldg. It is a self check in apartment, and the instructions received in advance were precise and easy to follow. There is a large sign in front of the apartment that our taxi driver found easily.
- brian (8/5): Well done apartments in Cardiff - SACO Cardiff-Cathedral Rd was a very nice spot to use as a base to explore Cardiff. Newer furnishings well maintained, very clean and spacious. Communication for entry instructions handled well. Be aware no lift if you have heavy bags. Parking onsite costs extra and can be a bit of a challenge to access. Nice to have a well equipped kitchen with some necessities already here. And washer/dryer for cleaning clothes. neighborhood is near a college, has quite a few pubs and restaurants nearby. Also close to a beautiful park and the River Taff. On the Saturday night of our stay there was a good bit of revelry noise til late from the neighborhood but it was nothing outrageous. Nice stay for sure. Wish we had seen more of the city.

The location was excellent for us on cathedral road, easy to find, easy instructions to access keys etc. The apartment was a lot More spacious than we imagined, we would’ve happily stayed Longer. The milk, Christmas chocolates, cereals, water and toiletries were very gratefully received. We will definitely be returning later In the year

Clean, big and very warm apartment with functional kitchen and bathroom. Overal very nice if you are not bothered to cook or eat in another location.
