- Antonio (1/5): A dump that bookings should dump off their list - This property should be taken off of booking.com list of available properties. The owner and management staff were the worst they were discriminatory. They were rude. They claimed that they couldn't understand me. They had me book a room on booking.com and then refused to give me the room. It was ridiculous and then tried to keep my fair for the room. It was ridiculous so don't ever stay here it's horrible. It's a disgusting neighborhood. Disgusting hotel dirty filled with drug addicts. Don't ever stay here. Absolutely everything I did not like one thing about this place

- Robert (10/5): Best Value in Hollywood! - Consistent (always clean, very nice and helpful front desk, safe, best price in Hollywood). It’s “barebones”, so don’t expect to pay an amazing low price in the heart of Hollywood and receive “Four Seasons” Amenities””.
You must be aware that NO rooms have air conditioning. If you can’t take the Heat this is not the Property for you. Each Room always has a Standing High Speed Fan.
Other than the no air conditioning it’s still (at least for me) the best value in the Heart of Hollywood.

- Darryl (4/5): Is it worth the cost? - the bed was good The fact that you get what you paid for is crazy, the shower is a lawsuit waiting to happen, roaches were present with the room I was in and it seems like they do not REALLY clean up the rooms. There was still trash from previous renters. And the fridge was not even plugged in, good thing I did not need to have anything that needed cooling to be in there. I like how there is no A/C in any of the rooms, but their office has one. It's like they do not want the customer to be comfortable and want to come back in the future. Never going to this place again. One time was enough for me.
- Monty (8/5): - The lady was nice, but the room was hot and the fan could only do so much.
- Robert (10/5): Overall a great place to stay - Clean Rooms, Exceptionally friendly data.
Just be aware that the Hotel does not have air conditioning, but every room has strong standing fans and especially at night in Hollywood could be an issue. But the nice Manager and his wife are always so nice and welcoming; that far out ways not having air conditioning and the Room per night is unbeatable right in the heart of Hollywood
- Pat (2/5): - The biggest waste of moneybi would have ratghe slept in a car
- James (2/5): Tolerable - This place is a dump , no Air Conditioning and you don't find out untill its too late . The bed is like sleeping on concrete. The pillows are super thin .
- Brittany (1/5): - ITS A PROSTITUTION HOTEL THEY JUST DON’T HAVE GLORY HOLES🤣..I MADE MY💸.. BUT THIS PLACE IS A ROTTING HOLE.
YOU COME HERE TO COME *WINKWINK* & THAT’S IT BABES💋 DISGUSTING!
NO ENGLISH SPEAKING STAFF, BED BUGS, SMOKE HOLES IN THE BLANKETS, BLOOD ON THE SHEETS, TERRIBLE SERVICE AT THE FRONT DESK, NO MICROWAVE IN ANY OF THE ROOMS, NO AIR CONDITIONER, JUST A SMALL FAN, STICKY STUFF ON THE FLOORS, TOWELS ARE DIRTY ,WATER PRESSURE IS WEAK, DEAD ROACHES ON THE WALLS& THE CORNERS EVEN IN THE WINDOW! YOU CAN SMELL CIGARETTES AS SOON AS YOU WALK IN THE ROOM, YOU CAN HEAR ARGUING ALLLLLLL NIGHT, NASTY DRUGHEAD PROSTITUTES THROUGHOUT THE HALLS ALL TIMES OF THE EARLY MORNING, METH HEADED DRUGGIES ALL OVER THE HOTEL EVEN OUTSIDE!!
WHEN I WAS CHECKING OUT LEAVING MY KEY AT THE FRONT DESK, THE BIG GUY WITH BLACK HAIR THAT CHECKED ME IN ASKED FOR MY SERVICES AFTER HIS WIFE WENT TO THE BACK😻👠.DON’T COME HERE🤷♀️!!!
- Niko (4/5): - Very rude staff and the price changed for the upcoming night.

- LaQuanta (10/5): - Good place to stay.
- Ludvin (10/5): - nice
- Sabina (10/5): - This property is not bad for it’s price. They’ve got everything we needed
- Megan (4/5): - All around the quality and condition of the room was pretty bad. Horrible paint job. Some dust in areas clearly not cleaned off for at least months. Dirty places throughout that could easily be wiped clean. I felt uncomfortable being there and regretted the stay almost immediately after arriving.
- Richard (10/5): - Excellent location for the price
- Manuel (6/5): - Cash only property. Friendly staff, parking has limited access
- Mary (9/5): Superb -
- Mary (9/5): Superb -
- Louvella (7/5): Good - I enjoy myself and my daughter was with me. She said that it was Okay. The noise from upstairs room in the hotel.
- Nelson (10/5): - Amazing stay will be booking again a little different choices
- Elijah (2/5): - The entire place smelled horrible.
- Steve (4/5): - Room was dirty and needed a deep clean at least.
- Steeve (8/5): Very good -
- Steeve (8/5): Very good -
- Oswaldo (2/5): - Terrible staff
- Ruben (10/5): - The place was nothing of what reputation speaks. All new and upgrades paint no carpet, new parking lot . Pictures need to be updated. Very comfortable and safe place to stay, will definitely return before the prices are jacked up
- Oswaldo (2/5): - The owners are deliberately and artificially misleading customers by thinking a non refundable booking means no incidentals. Like why else would you let someone book a room with no way of paying for the deposit? Is it covered , subsidized or?
- Veronica (5/5): Passable - The price The place
- Saulius (1/5): Skidrow - Į like start būt all good things not enough its 1 star ! Į dont like that my room and place smelled like homeles people. Į dont like it very much. Next time in Next place first į will go to try to smell !
- David (8/5): - Pretty basic but good value. Didn't see any bugs during my stay late April / early May.
Noisy area but earplugs solved that.
Excellent access to public transport (B underground metro line).
- Ariana (10/5): - early check in & friendly
- Lewis (2/5): - REVIEW: D
I will Never stay here again.
Lumpy bed/ mattress springs worn away at edges and compressed in a few areas making for a bed with visibly depressed areas and thus leaving only a small strip in the middle that one can comfortably sleep on.
So many random loud noises I had to use Earplugs to get sleep.
Broken chair.
Very dirty/ disgusting...
Heart shaped flies and roaches.
Many stains/ discolorations on walls, floors, fridge, desk etc.
AC broken & no heater.
The floor is uneven/ slanted in places.
No soap holder in shower.
Faucets squeak.
Long time for water to get hot.
No plug by bed (office leant me an extension cord when I asked).
Very loud every day about 11:15am... Worker telling people to leave.
- Regina (9/5): Superb - Quiet and peaceful at night
- Veronica (7/5): Good -
- Katrina (8/5): All right price - Hotel is small has no air conditioning the heater does not work but it's a pretty cheap option it's a good location I mean it's kind of slummy in the neighborhood but it's really right in the middle of Hollywood
- Michael (1/5): Bad -
- H (5/5): Passable - Front desk man was rude and yelling for having a friend' stop by. Felt like I was at my parents house and I was a child
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional - Very convenient thanks again!
- Robert (10/5): - I slept peacefully
- Verified traveler (4/5): Only Book If You Have No Other Choice - This place is like one of those motels from a horror movie. I booked only b/c I had no other choice late at night in that part of Hollywood w/o paying a steep price. I think there was a huge blood stain on the bed box spring. TV didn't even turn on & the carpet probably hadn't been cleaned in months. There was a working fridge in the room, microwave in the lobby. Grumpy manager was helpful but doesn't want travelers to know the wifi password. Luckily, I only stayed for one night.
- Fernando (2/5): - The receptionist was very unfriendly
- antione (4/5): - Just not it
- Rallenchaves (2/5): Pretty bad place - Location was good Not clean, place was very dated and guy at reception had no clue about customer service
- Cunningham (4/5): If you like concentration camps you’ll be at home here. - Militant type owner.
If you’ve been to a concentration camp you’ll be at home here.
If you’ve ever experienced the 10:59 knock and screaming YOU MUST GO NOW!!! Owners/staff and barracks style rooms.
- Sergio (2/5): - You can hear everything from other rooms and is super expensive
- Ramirez (5/5): Passable -
- Robert (10/5): Always Dependable - Always dependable for great rates in the middle of Hollywood. Basic amenities, but always clean and front desk is equally friendly.
- Becerra (7/5): Good -
- Karen (2/5): - The room smelled of trash , as if a huge trash can had been sitting in the room before i arrived.
- Michael (8/5): - This hotel is probably the best value in West Hollywood. They offer great prices in a very convenient location. I really enjoyed the vintage coke machine in the lobby. It's only a short five minute walk to the subway, which make the location very convenient for someone visiting the city without a vehicle.
- Joni (1/5): Bad -
- Cash (1/5): should be closed down bye the city . most unclean ever all time ! - nothing really most dirtiest room i have ever seen and i travel all over the usa ! worst experience i have ever had burn in the sheets bugs leaking refrigerator with water puddles on the floors graffiti on the furniture worst place in history… no smoke detector either not even enough slots for pics
- Efrain (10/5): Expectativas impresiones placentera - It's like being in your own home. People kindly do not invade your space freely privacy. It's like being in your own incredible house. mmm that the nights are not longer hahaha to be able to spend more time in the ranch and its surroundings
- Johnathan (2/5): - This was the worst hotel I ever stayed at. The hot water didn’t work, there were roaches crawling around. They even got into the food. The ac didn’t work. The heater didn’t work. The shower had black mold. The nob to the sink fell off. Absolutely terrible.
- Charles (8/5): Very good -
- Carlos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carlos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): Can’t beat it! - Best Deal in Hollywood, CA
- Javier (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): Recommend - My experience at Roxy Hotel was excellence. Check and check out was great with no issues. The room was very comfortable and it had all the essentials. Location was very convenient for me and the hotel was very secure with a key card to open the main door of the bldg. I was very please during my stay and I would absolutely stay here again in the near future.
- Julie (4/5): - I asked for clean towels on day 4, never recieved them
Garbage was not emptied in the 4 day stay
Bed was awful.. sheet did not fit and mattress was ripped up
Window looked like it had been shot
Area is sketchy at best.. walked to target in morning and seen 2 homeless doing needles
- Cliff (10/5): - Ijb
- Jaycob (6/5): Bleach. Period. - I did like how they don’t charge an incidental fee, but I really didn’t like that they didn’t allow visits “after hours”. Felt like I was in high school again, being grounded for the weekend not being able to see friends.
And I don’t want to forget to mention the cleanliness of the bathroom was absolutely none existent. Specifically the shower. I don’t know if it was black mold or fecal matter or a combo, but needless to say, bring bleach if you’re going to stay here.
- Arafat (10/5): - Very nice and economical.
- Tomaz (2/5): WORST HOTEL EVER FOR THE PRICE I PAID. - This was by far the worst hotel that i ever stayed ever. They had a heater that didnt work, broken smoke alarm, dead roaches in the room, no parking/pool even though they said free parking and pool on the app, only 2 plugs in the entire room and only 1 available to use- the other i had to use for the fridge, pillows were old and thin, bed was loud and squeaky, and horrible check-in service. I feel they over-price their rooms for the overall condition it was in. Should be a lot cheaper. I do not recommend staying there at all and its my 1st and last time. Seems like management is trying their best to save as much energy/money as possible.
- Robert (10/5): Overall... - Simple, Clean, Safe, Friendly, inexpensive, and all in the True Heart of Hollywood.
- Roberto (10/5): - This was for a last minute stay and this location worked out. While older building the room was great. Had some amenities and a clean bathroom with shower. Definitely will stay here in a pinch
- Javon (1/5): This place is actually worse than a homeless shelter no lie - THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE INSPECTED & AUDITED! It needs to be shut down for real , there is no way a place like this is safe and even Operating EVERYTHING IS DIRTY EVERYTHING IS BROKEN I CALLED THE COPS BECAUSE ITS NOT SAFE
- Robert (10/5): - Awesome
- Tonito (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelvin A (4/5): - To much smoke fumes
- Malia (4/5): - But really dirty. Towels are scratchy.
- Robert (10/5): Can’t Beat The Roxy - I never think about staying anywhere else when in town for business.
If you want a VERY OVERPRICED, (which just about everything in this city is) all the fancy “frills”, restaurants in the Hotel, etc. then you probably shouldn’t stay here. However, if you want an unbelievably inexpensive, always friendly staff, not “tons” of Security Officers, but I have never felt unsafe here, simple clean rooms then you cannot come close to finding anything remotely close to The “Roxy”, and literally in the heart of Hollywood.
- Nikkolas (2/5): - Big Thumbs down
- Jose (3/5): Poor -
- Aliiz (10/5): - I have no real complaints about the area other than it’s really difficult to find parking if you can’t get into the designated parking area behind the gate. The guys are really nice there too. From the cleaning staff to the front desk. Shout out to the front desk for still opening the gate to the parking area at 4 AM in the morning because I get off work at 3 and for letting my husband stay, even though he had just lost his ID card. We’re very grateful for that to the front desk guy.
- Gregory (1/5): Bad -
- Verified traveler (2/5): - this cannot possibly be considered a real hotel by any means
the reservation/payment system was "down" when i checked in so they ended up charging me more for my stay that what was confirmed via hotels.com
the "parking" in an alley on the side barely the width of 1.75 cars that you have to try and squeeze into one of 5 spots and have to back out since there's no where to turn around
don't ever, every stay here with anyone that you care about.
again, this is not a real hotel by any means... it's a run-down, super noisy/decrepit motel at best
- Jorge (6/5): - None
