Guest Reviews
- Matthew (6/5): - Sketchy staff regarding who is coming and going. Didn’t feel that safe.
- Sandra (6/5): Okay for one night to lay your head. - Easy access to parking, plenty stores within walking distance, and friendly staff. Plenty of toiletries in restroom . There was a huge live roach in the tub, and linen smelled of sweat.
- Meagan (8/5): Very good - The clean, big rooms! Located near stores. Walking distance to entertainment.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tabitha (4/5): Disappointing - Paint coming off the walls. The electric socket had a crack next to it and was lose on the wall. The room stinked like mildew and cleaning products and moth balls.
- Juan (9/5): Superb - a little trouble with the wifi
- Juan (8/5): Very good - clean, slept good quiet
- Tone (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gina (6/5): Disappointed... - The hotel itself was not clean at all. Very disappointing. Bathroom toilet was clogged and it was dirty, floor & toilet needed to be cleaned!! Dont think I'll use that hotel again
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The property was in liquor store/pawn shop area. So not a wonderful area to begin with.
The big problem was the stains, the uncleanliness. There was gum on the bathroom mirror when we checked in.
- Angus (10/5): - An old fashioned motel but spotlessly clean and well maintained
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was nice and quite. It was clean too. They do have free wifi and cable too.
- Shannon (10/5): - Nice, clean, right off the road and close to eateries. Quiet and pet friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean rooms affordable prices. Is located next to alit of eateries
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location, easy check in, nice quite and clean motel for the
Mone
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was way better then the Executive Inn that’s for sure 😊
- Daniel (4/5): Disappointing - It was a disappointing stay. I had read many positive reviews about the hotel and was sincerely hoping that I could contribute to well of great things said about it. However there were roaches in my room. The small German cockroaches which when they are seen in the day or bright light indicates there in an infestation in the area and it was wasn't an isolated roach I spotted 6 in total 3 in the living area and 3 in the bathroom.
Hopefully it a temporary thing and will be corrected soon
- DEISY (10/5): - I recommend to stay here. Friendly and clean environment.
- 898MaryC898 (6/5): Bare necessities - Stayed here based on trip advisor reviews. It was reasonable and clean but had the bare minimum. Only 1 nightstand, no lamps(only overhead), pillows were like sacks of concrete, owner had a real heavy accent and was real hard to understand. Mattress was firm and comfortable. Coffee was as mentioned very weak.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - its location was quiet and convenient to things around it. I only had a problem with the cockroaches that seemed to be a problem at night when they would come out.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We have stayed here before. Comfortable beds, helpful staff. Convenient location.

- David (8/5): I miss the quarter-fed bed vibrating machines!! - When I was a kid and we used to come to town to visit family, we would always stay here. Times have changed and the El Camino motel has as well, but it wasn’t any less than I would have expected. It’s a motel. A lot like a motor inn. It had a really big flat screen tv and the bathroom tile was nice. It was no Omni, but come on, it’s Beeville. Lol. Much cheaper than Yonder Inn it La Quinta and not that it matters, but you are in the center of town. Walking distance to lots of fast food. The beds were comfortable enough. No frills.
- Caitlin (8/5): clean and great price - great price.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Waited about 15 minutes for front desk attendant at the checkout time.
- Cruz (6/5): - They had roaches in the room
- Ron (8/5): - Great folks. Quiet stay
- F.Gunderman (8/5): - First of all I like the price. When I stay there I visit family so I only sleep there. Its clean but showing its age, comfortable and WiFi. What more do you? need.. I grew up in Beeville & hotel was there then. I'm 70 now. Staff is friendly. If you're just looking for a place to spend the night it's great. I recommend it.
- Melanie (10/5): Very pleased (: - We wanted to get away from our hectic life and enjoy some relaxing family time. They had a small carnival and a bowling alley. We drove up to port A a couple of the days and it was a very small quiet town. Would recommend!
- Stefan (4/5): Cheap, but still not worth it - Picked it because it was the cheapest stay around. But it would have been worth it to pay a bit more and get something in better condition. Check-in was very slow but friendly. Family-run affair and the dad was cheerful but the daughter took for every getting things entered and would not take my spouse's credit card if the room wasn't in her name (we checked in together in person). Lobby is deteriorating. The room and especially the bathroom were very worn. The AC was crazily loud - could not sleep with it on. And yet could not sleep with it off since the room got too warm and stuffy.
- Cornelio (10/5): Great stay - Check in was great and fast. Room was clean and sheets were fresh. Great location store is with in walking distance. Restaurants just a block away. Will stay in again . Quite and relaxing.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Old - Really old motel. Many cigarette burns in bedspread.
- andrewperez7070 (10/5): Excellent - Nice clean room with great internet. Ran by a great friendly family. I come here every year and always end up pleased. I recommend this place for everyone. Thank you El Camino Motel management for the hospitality
- Annette (2/5): There were Bed Bugs! - First off I didn't get an ounce of slerp because you here every single car that drives by. Then I wake up to see a bed bug crawling in the bed!! That was the grosses hotel I have ever stayed in. If I could post the video of it I would. The manager didn't even apologise or try and offer me anything. Horrible customer service, didn't greet me when I came in either time just quiet. If your going to run a customer service business then you need to learn how to speak when customers come to your business. When I spoke to my family about the bed bugs they said they had had that problem before. Well if it can't be fixed that place should be shut down already cause that's unsanitary.
- David (6/5): Budget Motel - Room was clean but small. Bed and pillows were extremely hard, ended up leaving in middle of the night as could not sleep on bed. May have been better off sleeping on floor.
- A1 Impromptu (10/5): Relieved - The staff at the El Camino is very polite and accommodating. Easy booking, fresh sheets and amazingly clean for the price.
What a relief.
- Caitlin Rush (8/5): Affordable - convenient price and location. only stayed 1 night. parking was a bit of an issue and the shower was not clean. there was hair in the bathtub. i loved that the Air conditioner was cold. i like when it is cold and the air was perfect.
- Glenn (8/5): comfortable bed, small room, stained carpet, - The hotel was actually fine...very small room but comfortable bed. It was Much cheaper than other hotels which was our main concern, this was just a quick stop to sleep a few hours and go on down the road. The room was very clean. The only problem was that the room had carpeting and vinyl covering on the floors. The vinyl was shiny, clean looking but the ½ of the room in carpet was BADLY stained…with…something. There were several BIG stains scattered all over the carpet (room 21). They need to just remove the carpet and cover the floor with 100% vinyl. It would look MUCH better. This is one of those OLD motels that has been redone – and redone very well…just get rid of the nasty carpet. We arrived at 12:30 a.m. – had to register through the mail drop window which was fine. The young lady was very friendly. Safety first. But when we left at 7:00 a.m. the office was still closed….really? They aren’t in a big hurry in Beeville! Ha! So, we dropped the key in the mail door and left. Yes, would stay here again but do wish they’d take up the nasty carpet. Their rooms look great otherwise!
- Angela (10/5): Nice motel conveniently located - Clean rooms and friendly staff and conveniently located, enjoyed our stay here.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not terrible. - We needed a room for the night on short notice and found this one about halfway between Corpus Christi and San Antonio. We were arriving late so the office was locked and had to check in through a little slot beside the door. A little odd, but safe. And the girl working was super sweet. Our room was adequate and a great price. The place is old and worn but served the purpose and was a good value.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - One night stay was positive. Great value. Glad I did not pay twice the price for other available choices in town.
- Adrienne (10/5): Great hotel - The price
- Terry (8/5): Old but nice - This was a very comfortable motel in a quiet town.
- CHRISTIAN (8/5): clean affordable and friendly staff - The place was good for the money. The staff were amazingly friendly. Always prompt to respond to customers needs. Clean room. My initial draw back was that it was too much into the road in the sense that it the rooms open straight to outside. For someone like me who had not used a motel like this before I was a bit scared but I overcame it immediately. There was no strange knocking on my door which was my initial fear. Overall I enjoyed my stay.
- hzkersten (4/5): Dark! - Needed a place to stay and tend to like the smaller motor courts so thought I'd give this place a try. Price was right, but was disappointed in a couple things: the fact the young boy checking me in wouldn't even open the door, but dealt with me through the small slot window - didn't make ME feel very safe! Secondly, the lighting in the room itself was extremely dim. Didn't like that at all! Other than that, the room and bathroom were clean, and the young boy at the front office was nice and polite.
- bobhE4569UP (10/5): A great place to stay - I've been assigned to this area and chose this place to stay. This place is clean has a great work area and the staff is the best. I feel very lucky to find this place.
The only drawback that I can say is: None
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Had a great stay! Had to make a trip due to a family emergency, it was a great place to stay for a last minute stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Sleepy - It was ok for last minute booking
- Nathan (8/5): Best inexpensive motel I've stayed in recently! - Out on the road, it's often required that I sleep in an inexpensive hotel/motel. El Camino totally beats Motel 6 and Super 8 on cleanliness, customer service, and quality of bedding. I slept like a baby, watched one of the largest televisions in any room I've stayed in, and had cold a/c when it was needed most.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Failure - We did not stay the room was so hot and the ac was barely blowing cool air. We got a refund and left
- Samantha (10/5): Excellent!! - Hotel and staff were wonderful. Bed was comfy and room was clean and nicely decorated.
- Wayne (10/5): Corpus Christi - EXCELLENT HOTEL. GREAT STAFF
- Wayne (10/5): Quiet & Clean - Excellent Hotel. Extremely gracious staff!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Convenient and clean - All I look for in a hotel is that it is clean, quiet, has a comfortable bed and a good shower. And a good air conditioner, of course. This one satisfied on all counts. Very reasonably priced as well.
- jeb2015 (10/5): NOTHING BUT GOOD PEOPLE - I've stayd here and will continue to stay here. The owners are very good, hard working and sincere people. They don't run an all night drinking parking lot so do expect to be reminded you're not in the backwoods of Utah.
The rooms are clean, bed is comfortable and cozy. Don't expect a buffet for the price. Very comfortable prices.
Thanks from The Air Condition People and crew.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Visit - Staying in a place close to place to eat is good. The traffic is not busy so you don't get all the noise in your hotel room.
- Oscar (8/5): El Camino night - The staff was very professional and courteous. Slept like a rock.
- Diana (10/5): Three bed room - It is good for the money. It has three bed in the room did not have to pay for two rooms.
- ETtracker (10/5): The Best for my Buck - When I first got to Beeville, it looked like the first hotels I saw were pretty quiet, when I stopped at the best western, they wanted well over $100.00 a night, so I continued looking. I stopped at the El Camino Motel, which was a bit smaller, but looked well kept. After getting a rate of $60.00, I checked in. To my surprise, my room was very spacious, clean and had all of the extras that the nicer hotels had. My stay was pleasant and very affordable. I would recommend the El Camino to anyone.
- jayb622 (6/5): A GEM. ... FOR WORK - THIS is a working class motel. The prices of motels in this area is outrageous due oil work. . This place's prices were very affordable vs over $100 for that motel 6. Whatever whiner put down a bad review must have a grudge against someone. Owners were very polite and seemed open to help guests. We stayd there several times a night at a time on work related travel. I would stay there again.
Rooms are clean!
- emeleav (8/5): A plesent surprise. - This place was a good choice for one night. The motel is located off a busy street in Beeville which is no big deal because there was hardly any traffic after 10pm anyways. The room looked clean and the bathrooms were updated. The only two downsides of the stay was the room had a strong odor of smoke and the people next door were obnoxiously loud. But, I am not sure I requested a non smoking room... and the worker of the motel rectified the situation quickly after being notified of the noisy guests . Over all the price of the room I was great for the cleanliness of the room. I would stay there again if I was ever in Beeville again.
- karmakid999 (10/5): Unexpected Comfort - My husband and I visited Beeville on business for a few days in May. We did not realize that there were almost no rooms available due to the influx of 'Eagle Ford' workers. We took a chance and drove into El Camino Motel because it looked clean and wellkept. We got the only room available. It had recently been renovated and was small, but very nice. The microwave, fridge and WiFi access were an added plus! The bathroom was a good size and very clean. The TV was great and the A/C worked well. The staff were all friendly and efficient. All in all, a good experience. We will be going back next month.
- RigelV (2/5): what a joke! - this place is a freakshow..we stayed a month and were threatened and harrassed by the owner for having a couple friends over from work for a quiet drink once but when we were awakened night after night because of the other guests having tailgate parties into the early hours of the night they either calmly told them to quiet down or did nothing to solve the issue. their so called business center does not exist and their delux continental breakfast is nothing more than a thermos of semi warm watered down coffee and some stale cookies...in our room the cooler didn't work half the time and the microwave took 7 minutes to warm up a small amount of water, after alerting them about these issues we were brushed off like a nusance, the only repreave from the daily issues were the very sweet, kind and helpfull cleaning staff....I won't be back though and I strongly advise anyone else to choose a different hotel.
- siteackman (10/5): wonderful staff!!!! - All I can say is that there are very clean romms for being a "mom & pop" motel Ecelent staff!! especially the desk clek "Liz" or also known as Elizabeth, freindly and out going for running the place during the day. She is always on her toes trying to accomidate the needs of the guests. Freindly atmosphere and I love the BBQ pits located near the roomes and the picnic tables.!!!! This is a great place to stay while working on the road.
