- CHAD (8/5): - We're locals and decided to get away for the night. Price was right on a Thursday. Room was very cozy and spacious The carpet padding must be thick because the flooring was soft and felt good on bare feet. The bed was good. The 2 person tube was amazing! The breakfast brought to the room was good and plentiful. My only complaints and they're minimal are the lack of toiletries. Very little shampoo and no bars of soap. One of the two pillows was very lumpy. When we booked it also said robes were an amenity but they were not in our room. The persons at the front desk checking in and out could have been friendlier for such a quaint hotel. Other than these miniscule things I would definitely stay there again. It was a fun get away for a night.
- Kathryn (8/5): - Alaska Inn was a nice area in Ogden Canyon. Being off season I think it was limited. I asked staff for a few things which I never received and communication was so-so. Overall I liked the Inn and would stay there again, very clean and great bath tub.

I faced the canyon road but heard absolutely nothing The grounds, BBQ, outdoor fire pits, and gazebo really add to the experience. Homemade breakfast to order is a perfect addition to the entire stay. The cost was actually less compared to a hotel in the area off of I-15. Thank you! I will definitely return

Is it really worth the time to stay there. I enjoy the idea of the cabins themes but they need to do better on customer service

The grounds were beautiful, with a stream rushing by out back. Breakfast? So many amazing choices, and delivered to your room! I can't wait to go back!

- Richard (6/5): - A bit noisy being right on the Ogden Canyon road. Many heavy semi trucks all hours of the day. Had to have the hot water on for 5-8 minutes before it started to get warm in the shower. Waste of precious water resources, they need to get the plumbing fixed to be more efficient. (We were told by front desk staff "it's an old building and it just takes time for the water to reach the rooms." Hmmm, again not a good use of resources.) Between that and just a feeling that they were not really excited to have us there made our decision not to stay there again.

- 276mistyj (10/5): Mountain ambience and retreat at Alaskan Inn! - Very impressed with the charm of the Alaskan Inn, as cozy, warm and felt like a ountain hideaway! The room was comfortable, with authentic decor, and a very nice queen size bed. Breakfast was delicious, and served outside in the back patio area where a rambling stream runs behind the property. The front rooms do face the busy road so opening windows not an option. But the air conditioner hummed softly all night long and we could not hear any road noise! Excellent value for the ambience and amazing staff who make sure that your stay is excellent!

The check-in process was seamless and welcoming, with staff who were genuinely friendly and eager to help. Whether it was helping us arrange transportation or offering local tips. Breakfast was way better than expected and the scenery was truly breathtaking. Live music at the riverfront was one of our highlights of our stay. We can’t wait to return !

- gniedermaier (4/5): Very disappointing. - Very disappointing. We had reserved a cabin on the river. When we arrived we were told it had electrical issues and that they sent a text and called to let us know. We redeived neither. The cabin is obviously very old and needs some upgrading. The pamphlet in the cabin stated there may be a 15-20" minute wait for hot water for showering as the boiler was some distance away. If you needed a blow dryer you had to travel to the office to get one. No clocks, no clock radio. I ordered an omelet for breakfast, it came as scrambled eggs with microspioc pieces of ham. My wife ordered the Alaska Eggs Benedict, but no ham was included and the Hollandaise, and I use Hollandaise very loosely here, disgusting. She never did eat it.Only one side table for the bed. Need two always for glasses. Only one lamp on the lone bed table so two couldn't read. I never did get the TV to work. It ain't quaint, far from it. Don't waste you time here.

- Charles (10/5): A GEM! - A GEM! One of the two nicest hotels I ever stayed at. Beautiful location, beautiful hotel. Great, friendly service. The wonderful breakfast was cooked to order and delivered to the room. I would suggest guests select the river view rooms over the mountain view. The riverview side of the hotel was beautiful. I am so happy we used hotels.com to find this wonderful place, and the price was reasonable. A shower curtain on the shower would be good.

Unfortunately we could not eat it because we were traveling through and left too early but it was such a cool way to do breakfast. The tub was amazing. Only thing is the water would splash all over the bathroom no matter the setting we turned it too but the pressure was amazing and the bed was so comfortable. The hotel was honestly 100/10. And the area is beautiful as well tucked back into a quiet cozy canyon. Will be back for sure

- Verified traveler (10/5): Quiet retreat in Ogden - This is an exceptional place to stay! The front desk was so welcoming and the rooms are very spacious. We ordered breakfast when we arrived and it was delivered quickly after we called the next morning. The rooms are not numbered, they are individually named which was so charming. We loved staying here! The whole property is very peaceful and relaxing.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Heaven in the Canyon - Rhe hotel is in a beautiful area in the canyon. The veiws are amazing. It could be updated a little or maybe just a little tender loving care. I think addressing little details would help, such as toilet paper holder better attached to the wall, grout work for the tub/shower look more professionally done, scratches on furniture touched up, etc. However, we will continue to come back again and again. The food is great, staff very kind, and the veiws exceptional.

- Nancy (10/5): A great get-away - My daughter and I were having a girls shopping trip and chose your place above others because Of the rustic uniqueness of the facility. In every question of insuring we were pleasantly surprised. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was not so far from town as to be inconvenient.
- Dayna (4/5): - The property was decent but a little expensive for what it's definitely run down and needs a upgrade all the way far as Clemens goes the only problem we had was our jetted tub had what seemed to be black mold around it in the ground devil Cracking the bottom of the tub was old and cracking it definitely was needs to be updated I'm glad that it was broken on one side and twilight handle stuck the breakfast was there quick and it was hot and it was decent man and the advertisers but we didn't get any robes and we called the front desk they said they didn't do that however we did ask we asked for extra towels and the stuff was prompt and friendly and brought us app to houses no question asked you find our room because we had to Go CLEAR up to the door of each cabin to see where our room was okay The door is definitely to be updated with a newer security system and out of there and The door to the back of our cabin on the maintenance hatch was open so we were worried about critters all night Is it a value for what we paid no definitely not and I'm not sure that I would go back there until it got updated It wasn't a terrible stay. However it was OK at best. It wouldn't be my first recommendation for sure especially for a special night like a wedding night or an anniversary. when we checked in they didn't ask me for my ID or for a deposit maybe that should have been my first clue.

Maybe we were the only guests that did, but GM Brenda personally drove us and picked us up completely on our schedule. Hot breakfast, made-to-order gets delivered to your room!
- Eugene (10/5): - I love this little place and have stayed there twice. It is just outside of Ogden on the highway towards Snowbasin or Powder Mountain. It’s a B n B with nice rooms and amazing hot tub with jacuzzi ( quiet ones). You pick breakfast tge night before and they bring it to your door. The breakfast was “ ok” but not great. Not gourmet let’s put it that way, but decent. They now have dinner also on weekends. I stayed in the main lodge not the cabins. The carpets and room could use a little TLC but otherwise no issues. Front Desk is extremely responsive to needs and very helpful. I’d definitely visit again.

- robsH338GT (10/5): Romance! - We stayed in the lodge and ordered a love bird and a massage. Everything was just perfect and so romantic. Can't wait to stay again. The night we stayed they had Live music, it was so much fun. We ate at the grill and the food was very good. We also played in the game room at night. 👍
- Reed (8/5): - We’ve stayed here twice. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. After staying in both the lodge and the cabins I’d highly recommend a cabin. Our room this time was on the main floor in front and the noise from both the parking lot and traffic up and down the halls made it hard to sleep the first night. Also the first night we ran out of hot water before we could fill the tub - we ended up not using it much because the water was brown/orange. Maybe they are on a well, but it left a ring around the tub. I’m giving 5 stars for our prior visit and 3 this time for the room. But the staff is 5/5.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Overall, We Really Enjoyed Our Stay - Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The little cabin we stayed in was very clean and cozy, especially as it was snowing outside. It was decorated with lots of adorable bear decor. There was even a wood-carved bear that held the toilet paper in the bathroom! The jetted tub in the room was nice and big; however, it took nearly 25 minutes to fill up because the hot water pressure was so bad. The cold water had a little better pressure, but then the water was way too cold. Had to fill the tub with only hot water because the hot water wasn't very hot to begin with, so it took a long time. The queen bed was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, personable, and accomodating. Since our room didn't have a microwave, one of the staff members microwaved our frozen dinners for us in their kitchen. In the morning, one of the staff members delivered breakfast directly to our room. My waffles and bacon were okay. My husband had the biscuits and gravy, but something in that was so rancid that he wasn't able to eat his breakfast. Breakfast is definitely something they can improve on as it is included as part of your stay. As I said, overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back.
- William (10/5): - Everyone on the staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed. I recuperated there after a ski injury and loved the attention I got. Brenda, the Manager was very helpful and a friend to me during my stay. The Inn’s remote location was also quiet and beautiful.
- John (10/5): Stay here when skiing at Snowbasin - The Alaskan Inn was a great place for me to stay while skiing at Snowbasin. The room was very spacious. The front desk staff was very helpful. The made to order breakfast delivered to my room was the best I have ever had.

Free breakfast made to order and delivered to your room was awesome. we are staying here everytime we ski snowbasin
- Lynn (10/5): Alaskan Inn - Perfect place to relax and get away from the city. We always opt for breakfast because they have a great cook. Service is always awesome and everything is clean and comfortable. We always choose this hotel when we are in Ogden. It’s so worth it.

- David (10/5): I great getaway! - We had a great stay. Our room was a cabin and is was very cozy in a small neighborhood of cabins. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve had in hotel. Breakfast was good but. A little over cooked. The jetted tub was a nice touch. The lighting was perfect for that warm cabin feel. We also got a couple massage. It was the best I’ve had. Ask for Catherine if come and stay there.
