• Susan (10/5): A Wonderful Inn in a Great Location! - The staff was extremely friendly. The inn (actually 2 inns next to each other) was beautifully decorated, clean, and had all the amenities one could desire. Breakfast was delicious each of the 2 days of our stay. Parking was right outside the inn. Ogunquit Beach and Marginal Way are a quick walk away. Even the Playhouse is walkable! They had a nice cocktail hour each night at the inn which gave us a chance to share local restaurants and sights with other guests and the innkeeper. They have really thought through the needs of guests and have created a wonderful experience overall. We highly recommend Blue Shutters Inn. My husband and I discussed this during our stay and could not come up with one thing that they could improve regarding the inn or the overall experience. It was really a great stay.

• Jeffrey (9/5): Relaxing stay though a little hot to do much outside. - Access to the ocean via a pathway. Chairs available to borrow. Would have helped to have a final receipt for our total stay.

Coffee was supposed to be ready at 7:30, it was the first day, the second day I was there promptly at 7:30, and no coffee ready. I waited ten more minutes outside on a chair and then gave up. We went to the omelette factory for breakfast to get my coffee. I wanted to drink my coffee on the porch first thing in the morning! Did not want to use keurig. No biggie, but it made an impression. All the meals we had were delicious and we enjoyed our stay in Ogunquit.

• Brigitte (7/5): Wenn man sich mit einem kleinen Zimmer arrangieren kann ist der Aufenthalt ok. - Das Frühstück war sehr gut, und Terron ein richtiger Schatz. Das B&B ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und die Lage perfekt. Direkter Zugang zum Marginal Way war super. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, das Bett für zwei Personen zu klein. Unter einem Bettbein waren Hölzer gelegt, dass das Bett gerade stand. Im Badezimmer kam man mit den Knien an die Duschwand wenn man auf der Toilette sass, so musste man quer auf der Toilette sitzen. Preis-Leistung war für dieses Zimmer nicht gut.
• Kenkre (10/5): A guaint, well maintianed inn in the heart of Ogunquit, staffed with wonderful people - Excellent location. A variety of well-maintained units. Direct access to the Marginal Way. Short walk to the beach. It is located in the heart of Ogunquit. So, you won't need a car to get around town. It is an adult-only property. The best part is the people who run and maintain the property. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Susan, who is the person who greets you at the desk, does almost everything at the facility. (hostess, gardener, maintenance person, and all-around go-to person!) I think she's a perfectionist. I once spied her straightening a watering can that was sitting outside the door slightly askew! We also happened to meet Gerrard, the new co-owner of the inn, who is friendly as well and greets all the guests to inquire about their welfare. He always appears to be available if the staff needs additional help. The inn is close to Kittery and Kennebunkport. Daily breakfast is varied and delicious. Vegetarians are accommodated. The pillows were rather floppy, offering very little support. While some people like very soft pillows, we prefer them with some height and support. Disclaimer: We did not address this issue with the management.

The staff was phenomenal- very friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious and excellent - wonderful chef. The property location was very close to everything - you can walk everywhere. Beautiful flowers on the property inside and out. The property itself was very clean and exceptionally maintained. The happy hour was fun and there is a great patio area as well.

Although we only used for one breakfast, kitchenette was as grt - Breakfast was excellent, especially the timely delivery of our plates, 2 courses was tasteful. Coffee and Juice were also top quality Would have liked a to-go cup to enjoy another cup The bath had been updated but still needed attention in vanity and shower surround.

• Jamie (9/5): Most enjoyable. - Very convenient location, accessible to virtually everything you want in Ogunquit including easy access to Marginal Way walk. Parking on the property with immediate access to your room. Every "inch" of the room utilized to the maximum and very nicely appointed. There in early summer so a little heat was nice in the early mornings and A/C in the afternoon - immediately available. Kitchen adequately stocked with pans, dishes and utensils plus microwave, stove, frig, Keurig coffee maker, toaster and sink. Keurig coffee cups provided and soap for dishes. Problem with hot water ONLY at kitchen sink - management had plumber come immediately.

• Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - The Blue Shutters Inn exceeded our expectations! The location is amazing, very close to downtown, and a path right on the property to the Marginal Way. The staff were exceptional as well! Breakfast was amazing, I highly recommend including breakfast to your stay..the portions were substantial and delicious. There are so many added touches that make this place so special, we will definitely be back. We loved staying in the Portland suite, however, it is on the first floor, so you could hear people walking around upstairs, or voices talking in the main common area. Everything else was perfect!

We stayed in a queen suite on the 2nd floor. Home was very cozy and welcoming along with their dog! Enjoyed happy hour and meeting other guests. Only negative was that when we were told that they had a "happy hour" the first night we didn't realize there would be a charge for your cocktail (guess we never saw the price written at the bottom of the bar menu).

The facilities are very tastefully decorated and the grounds were well manicured and lovely. Everything was within walking distance, restaurants, Marginal Way and gift shops. Noise in the morning overhead. People wheeling suitcase over the floor. Sleep was difficult. Next time we will go upstairs.
