Love the stories and sharing also. This is by far the nicest place i stayed to mark my mid week trip in NZ northern island. Couldn’t ask for any better. I would strongly recommend staying here (and i would love to return and stay again). Can’t find any fault with it other than the road is a little dark which I had shared with the hosts but its quite common i guess :)
• Ben (10/5): - Breakfast overlooking Wellington harbour was absolutely amazing. Comfortable, clean, late night self checkin was straightforward. Very friendly hosts, with a wealth of local knowledge. The streets around the property are winding and narrow which might be a bit problematic for bigger vehicles. Parking on the street makes it trickier to find a spot close to the property.

From the moment I arrived, the host was incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home with their genuine kindness and helpfulness. It’s rare to find a host who balances being professional and personable so perfectly. The highlight of the stay, however, was the room itself. It was spotlessly clean and remarkably tidy, appearing exactly as it does in the photos. You can tell that a lot of care goes into the maintenance and upkeep of the space. Everything felt fresh, organized, and comfortable, which made it very easy to relax. If you are looking for a place that prioritizes cleanliness and top-tier hospitality, look no further. I would definitely stay here again!

Wir haben sogar um 06:30 Frühstück bekommen, da wir die Fähre erwischen mussten. Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert. Die niedrig angebrachten, fixen Duschköpfe scheinen in Neuseeland normal zu sein. Hier ist das ebenso der Fall. Große Menschen müssen beim duschen in die Knie gehen.

• Frank (10/5): Sehr gute Unterkunft mit wirklichem Meerblick - Die Unterkunft im Haus von Brent und Janice war sehr komfortabel und mit allem Wichtigen ausgestattet. Das ausreichende Frühstück wurde im Frühstückszimmer mit wunderbaren Meerblick serviert und dabei konnte man viel von Brent über die Geschichte Wellingtons und auch seine Geschichte erfahren. Auch gab er uns gute Tipps, was man in Wellington unternehmen bzw. besichtigen sollte. Wir haben uns gut betreut und sehr wohl gefühlt.

Hatten jeweils tolle Gespräche beim Frühstück, das jeden Tag von Janice frisch zubereitet wurde. Man durfte wählen, wie man die Eier haben möchte. Die Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft gelegen mit Blick auf die Bucht, wo die Fährschiffe einfahren. Gratis Parkplätze vor dem Haus. Wunderschönes und gemütliches Zimmer mit eigenem Bad. Uns fehlte ein Schreibtisch im Zimmer.

Das Zentrum Wellingtons konnte man schnell mit dem Auto erreichen. Das Gastgeberehepaar war sehr, sehr nett und bereitete uns einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Wir konnten sogar schon 6.30 am Morgen frühstücken, um unsere Fähre pünktlich zu erreichen.
• Tony (10/5): A beautiful location and wonderful hosts - Our hosts Janice and Brent went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Within minutes of arriving Janice was on the phoner securoing us a reservation at a local restaurant which was highly recommended. Later in our stay she also assisted with booking a taxi to save us a call from our UK mobile. Both Janice and Brent were highly knowledgable regarding the local area and things to to in Wellington. Although the accommodation is a little way out of the city centre it was easy to get into the CBD and any downside of not being close to the centre is more than made up for by the stunning view from the breakfast room and our bedrooms. The beds were the most comfortable we slept in. Nothing I can think of

• Glen (9/5): Excellent place to stay! - Beautiful house with a high view over Wellington Harbor, in a great neighborhood with easy parking on the street. One bed and bath already occupied, and we stayed in a nice bedroom with a view and a hall bath (just for us - not shared). Room was a little tight, but very nice, and very comfortable, with tv, wifi, coffee, etc. Breakfast was perfect, with coffee, tea, milk, juices, cereal, bread, toast, eggs, cheese, etc, in a beautiful large dining room upstairs, overlooking the harbor. Janice and Brent were exceptionally hospitable, helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this BnB for a wonderful stay. Thanks again Janice and Brent!!! The only thing we didn't like was having to leave.
