Swimming pool looked amazing but weather wasn't conducive. Everything was reasonably priced. Evening live DJ added some vibe to our chill out experience. Perfect location for beach strolls and a walk to the old town. Had a spacious balcony room which overlooked the sea. Simply perfect.

• Elise (9/5): Excellent séjour - Ensemble du personnel très accueillant et aux petits soins, que ce soit le personnel de l'accueil, les bagagistes, les barmans, les serveurs du restaurant ou les femmes de ménage. Restaurant également au top : grand choix de plats au petit déjeuner comme au dîner et tout est très bon. Nous avons également testé les plats à la carte et c'était parfait. Le parking à disposition est également très pratique. Trois petits points d'amélioration : - prévoir davantage de patères dans les chambres pour permettre de suspendre les serviettes de bain. - un vrai jus d'orange au petit déjeuner serait apprécié - nous aurions aimé que les plats soient parfois servis un peu plus chauds (mais c'est un avis très personnel !)

• helencM591GM (10/5): Restful gem in Rethymnon - We had holiday with 4 adult relatives. We booked 3 rooms and were given rooms next to each other. This is not something we requested but was done by the hotel and was a great boon to our short stay. Rooms were comfortable. We had sea views with a balcony which we utilized often for times of conversation and relaxation between trips to different parts of this beautiful island.

Seaview restaurant has plenty of delicious food to offer with maitre d'hotel Aggeliki making sure everything goes smoothly as per 5*. Well maintained swimming pools and the beach area just across the road with sun-beds reserved for hotel only guests. Strongly recommend!

Also the location is very good. The spa was amazing! I had a massage with Georgia and it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend! :)
• jess (8/5): We would definitely recommend Rethymno to people and would definitely recommend Atlantis beach hotel - Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was always really clean and the facilities were really modern. We had a room with a pool and the pool was perfect to cool off in. The beach is literally across the road and was so peaceful and relaxing. We only had breakfast each day at the hotel and it was a great variety! The old Town is about a 40min (slow) walk and we walked in and back every night for dinner. The old town is fabulous! Loads of small lanes to shop in and so many restaurants to choose from. We had a great stay!

• Aurore (10/5): J'y reviendrai avec grand plaisir - L'hôtel est très agréable, proche du centre de Réthymnon (accessible en 20 minutes à pieds par la promenade en bord de mer), il est calme, les chambres sont spacieuses, très bien agencées et décorées sobrement. La table est excellente au petit déjeuner comme au dîner avec un large choix qui varie tous les jours. Les deux piscines sont très appréciées avec leurs bouées ainsi que l'accès à la belle plage avec les transats (accès libre aux clients de l'hôtel). Enfin la possibilité de se garer dans la rue ou dans les parkings mis à disposition gratuitement (caution pour le bip) est grandement appréciée lorsqu'on voyage en voiture. Rien tout était parfait.

• Maria (7/5): Prima voor een nachtje, maar in het hoogseizoen waarschijnlijk de prijs niet waard - Het personeel krijgt een dikke 10! Iedereen even aardig, kundig en behulpzaam. Schitterend uitzicht over zee. Het hotel ligt aan het einde van de boulevard, behoorlijk ver weg van het dorp. De hotelkamer heeft een vreemde constructie waar de gootsteen meteen bij binnenkomst in de kamer zit en de wc en douche daarbij achter een half doorzichtige glazen deur die niet afsluit. Dit betekent dat de hele kamer vochtig blijft na het douchen, je partner niet naar de wc kan als de ander staat te douchen en je je afdroogt midden in de kamer. We hadden de kamer met privé zwembadje, maar dat water was zó koud dat het onbruikbaar was. Het ontbijt is niet zoals je van een 5 sterren hotel mag verwachten met een zeer beperkte keuze aan vers fruit/brood/beleg en als “sinaasappelsap” een soort onaangelengde siroop.

• Magdalena (7/5): Ein schönes, sauberes Hotel mit sehr nettem Personal, nur bedingt familienfreundlich - Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich, das Zimmer sehr schön, groß und modern eingerichtet, die Betten waren sehr bequem. Wir fanden die unmittelbare Strandnähe (nur eine Straße dazwischen, die weniger gestört hat als gedacht) auch super. Der breite Sandstrand ist schön und ideal für Kinder, weil es nicht schnell tief wird. Was man als Familie wissen sollte: Es gibt weder einen Kinderspielplatz (der wird lt. Hotel gerade umgebaut) noch ein Kinderspielzimmer (nur Spiele zum Ausleihen). Kindermahlzeiten gibt es, wenn man danach fragt, das haben wir leider erst einen Tag vor Abreise auf Nachfrage erfahren. Das Buffet an sich ist umfangreich, hat mich aber nicht überzeugt, da lauwarm, sehr fisch- und fleischlastig und sehr salzig und würzig, sodass es (v.a. für Kinder) nicht so leicht ist, hier fündig zu werden. Halbpension würde ich nicht empfehlen. Sandspielzeug gab es auch auf Nachfrage keins zum Ausleihen, der Kinderpool ist für Kleinkinder passend - Ende Oktober allerdings zu kalt zum Baden, da nicht beheizt. Das Meer war hier deutlich wärmer.

• brew15 (10/5): Melody SPA - hours of paradise - I’d like to share my experience with the SPA of the hotel and emphasize their huge impact on guests’ wellbeing. I had a full body treatment with hammam and scrub included. The facilities of spa offer a jacuzzi as well. Overall ambience is relaxing, everything super clean and the staff deserves a special mention - a huge thank you to Olga, Georgia and Emmanuel’s for being so attentive and professional. Looking forward to coming back!

Allerdings sehr laut, auch nachts. Frühstück: Keine Abwechslung, kaum fettarme Produkte, Kaffeeprodukte aus dem Automaten alle gesüßt. Nette Frühstücksterrasse mit Meerblick, aber Tische dicht an dicht und Atmosphäre wie in einer Kantine. Zimmer: kein separates Badezimmer. Dusche & WC: je in einer Glasbox, vis-à-vis Waschtisch, offen im Zimmer. Dreimal haben wir Bescheid gegeben, dass das Wasser in der Dusche nicht abfließt. Auch WC-Box und Vorleger unter Wasser. Es kam zwar immer jemand, das Problem wurde aber nicht behoben. Nur 1 einziger Haken für 1 Badetuch (!), keine Haken für Kleider, nasse Badeklamotten. Bestenfalls knapp 4 Sterne. Schade!

• S4512AFlorrainer (8/5): Room disappointment on arrival, but the rest of the holiday was good - Food, cleanliness absolutely superb, but we arrived late Friday having booked a Superior double with sea view. We were told we had requested a quiet room.. Not True !!! and when questioned were told ‘our agent requested it !!! We had no agent , it was all done online by ourselves. We had no sleep as we were so disappointed and upset… Queried it next day to be told we could have a different room. We eventually got the room we had booked and paid for from photos on the hotel website but made to feel that we were being a nuisance Yiannis was very condescending and said it was a room for 4 people implying that it wasn't the room we booked and said the side room we were given was a superior one ! Certainly not according to the website. This really soured the holiday for us which was a shame as the rest of the staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to help.

• Michelle Bettina (10/5): - Über die Strasse ist das Meer. Der Strand ist sehr sauber. Die Mitarbeitenden stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist topp, das Buffet ist sehr abwechslungsreich.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Bien dans l’ensemble - Sympa dans l’ensemble, juste problème de parking pas suffisant, petit déjeuner pas très original et toujours le même. Accueil pas très souriant. Femme de chambre au top. Deux capsules de café ouvertes au Check in puis facturée 1 euros. Franchement pas normal pour cette gamme de prix.
• Solveig (10/5): - Wir waren schon zum dritten Mal im Atlantis Beach Resort, da wir uns in dem Hotel so wohl fühlen. Es ist alles sehr sauber und gepflegt, das Personal immer nett und freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer gemütlich und schön eingerichtet und die Poolanlage ist toll für Kinder und Erwachsene und ebenfalls immer tiptop sauber. Es gibt außerdem einen Sandstrand direkt vor der Tür, einen Supermarkt nebenan und viele Restaurants und Geschäfte in der Umgebung. Die Altstadt von Rethymno ist fußläufig zu erreichen und wirklich sehenswert.

• ChrisO664 (10/5): Outstanding service – Atlantis Beach Hotel truly deserves 5 stars - Outstanding service – Atlantis Beach Hotel truly deserves 5 stars I don’t normally write a review until after returning from a trip, however with 3 days still to go I felt this hotel deserves the recognition already. From the very beginning – even before departure – the service was impeccable. Hotel Manager Mr. Yiannis Mylonakis and Chrissy were excellent in handling our information and requests, setting the tone for what has been an exceptional stay. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Nikos and Nikos on reception, who couldn’t have been more helpful. Costas at the bar provided fantastic service throughout, and Christina, our maid for rooms 433 and 434, kept everything spotless with a smile. Service here is excellent, and it’s what makes a true 5-star stand out. Location, food, and facilities are of course important – but it’s the professionalism, warmth, and friendliness of the team that truly elevates Atlantis Beach Hotel. Location and sunset are breathtaking and don't forget the spa facilities and team. Having lived in Greece over the years and travelled extensively worldwide, I can honestly say it’s rare to find a hotel that ticks all the boxes. For Sharon, Amelia, and myself, this hotel has not only done that – it has gone above and beyond. I would highly recommend this award-winning hotel. Come and see for yourself – you won’t be disappointed.
• Sabri (9/5): - Superfijne en vooral schone accommodatie. Wij hadden een kamer met zeezicht, dit was een super fijne kamer. Je hoort wel wat geluiden zoals de zee en wat voorbijkomend verkeer, maar hier hebben wij persoonlijk geen last van gehad. Het was heel fijn om makkelijk gebruik te kunnen maken van het strand en de zwembaden. Ideaal! De kamer wordt verder iedere dag schoongemaakt en je hebt elke dag schone handdoeken. Personeel is ook heel vriendelijk. Wij hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad. Enige 2 minpuntjes waren dat de matrassen in ons optiek aan vernieuwing toe zijn (ze zijn wat doorgezakt en behoorlijk hard, dit ligt minder comfortabel). Daarnaast waren er behoorlijk wat hotelgasten die ‘s morgens hun strandbedjes reserveerden door hun handdoek erop te leggen (om vervolgens tegen de middag er pas gebruik van te maken). Er wordt duidelijk door het hotel aangegeven dat dit niet is toegestaan, maar hier wordt niet op gehandhaafd. Dit is erg frustrerend voor de gasten die zich wel netjes aan de regels houden.

La proximité avec la vieille ville de Réthymnon et la voie principale qui parcoure tout le nord de la côte. Ma fille a beaucoup apprécié la mise à disposition de plusieurs gonflables dans la piscine. Les buffets du petit-déjeuner et du soir étaient juste incroyable! Variété et qualité étaient au rendez-vous. Nous avons laissé la chambre le matin et avons pu prendre une douche avant de partir en milieu d'après-midi. Rien.

• DunmowCom (10/5): Atlantis Beach Hotel - Amazing - We booked a 2 week holiday at the Atlantic Beach and could boynot have wished for a better experience. All the staff are incredibly helpful and look after you from the moment you arrive. The facilties are great, food is amazing and the two pools are a welcome option to the beach.

• Julia (10/5): - Sehr gepflegtes Hotel mit außerordentlich freundlichem Personal. Alle sprechen gut englisch und man fühlt sich wohl. Wir würden dieses Hotel wieder buchen. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass es keinen frischen Orangensaft zum Frühstück gibt und nur Filterkaffee oder aus einem Automaten. Ansonsten ist das Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und frisch. Dafür punktet das Hotel mit seiner gepflegten Anlage und der Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit, wie ich es selten erlebt habe.

Service am Strand und immer Liege und Schirm kostenlos für Hotelgäste vorhanden! Das Fitnesstudio, dann besser keins. Aber in unmittelbarer Nähe gab es drei Studios ;-)

• lisadE595XX (10/5): First impressions and spa experience - Only been here 3 days, so impressed with everything so far! Location, cleanliness, rooms so modern and tastefully decorated. My main reason to do this review is because I've just returned from the spa. A lovely experience and a holiday treat, my husband and I both had the back, neck and shoulder massage with the free 15 minutes legs massage. It was fantastic and loved the ambience too. Thanks to Emmanouela, Georgia and Olga.
• Yigal (6/5): נחמד לא יותר - נקיון סביר לא מעבר בהחלט ניתן לשיפור צוות המלון מקסים באמת מנסע לסייע על אף שלפעמים אין לו את הכלים לעזור ארוחת בוקר בסיסית מבחינת המגוון. מאפים לא כל כך טריים. הגענו לקראת סוף זמן ההגשה 35-40 דקות והצוות כבר היה בקיפול רוב מה שהוגש. המזגן באחד מהחדרים שלנו לא עבד ובמשך 3 ימים לא הצליחו לתקנו
• Happykrob (8/5): Nice hotel - We stayed for 11 nights in June. B&B, the room was comfortable, bed was good with high quality pillows. Shower was excellent. Hotel is clean, staff at the Restaurant nice and polite. Breakfast buffet was varied. And plenty of choice. Pools nice and the hotel is really clean. Beach is across the road, I don’t particularly agree with being told that you have to buy hotel drinks on the beach, as we had already paid for the hotel. I used the spa and the treatment I had was very good.
• Mainka (4/5): Zdecydowanie nie jest to standard hotelu 5*. - Czystość i lokalizacja. Sprzedano mi ofertę jako „pokój dla 3 dorosłych”- okazało się że w pokoju było jedno podwójne łóżko oraz przystawka o wymiarach dla dziecka! Mimo zgłoszenia nieodpowiedniego rozmiaru łóżka nie zmieniono mi pokoju, w połowie pobytu dopłaciłam i zmieniłam pokój. Kolejnym minusem była kolacja w formie bufetu, mały wybór ciepłych dań, do tego były z reguły zimne mięsa! Obsługa niechlujnie ubrana. Zdecydowanie nie jest to standard hotelu 5*.
