Terrasse mit Liegen und Pool war auch sehr fein Beim Frühstück war wirklich nur dass nötigste vorhanden, alles nur Plastikgeschirr usw.

• howarddY5097TM (2/5): Please spend your money elsewhere! - 3 days as guests in mid March. room was exceptionally small as our king bed status left 2 feet walkway on either side. vinyl couch took more floor space allowing 2 feet between couch and bed. we had to squeeze between the bathroom door and side table to get into the bathroom. this was small and uncomfortable, with minimal water pressure in the tap and shower. mid-stay window broke and was repaired with painters tape, allowing significant street noise at night. Hot tub was filthy and continental breakfast was packaged food that you could get from a vending machine. Lots of better hotels on the island, and trolley service can take you to all of the fun places. Our advice: go elsewhere because this hotel is not worth the price!

The beds had big dips in them it was filthy, the pool area was very unkept ripped furniture, no towels and just dirty. They switched our room after many complaints, the new room it was even worse. This place has went straight down hill.

• Marlen (1/5): I will not rent at Pegasus again was very disappointed:( - We did not like the property at all. We had a terrible experience at Pegasus. The property was dirty, we found cockroaches, we asked the front desk if they could fumigate , they did not !by the time we returned to the room the dead bug was still on the floor where we left it. The curtains were falling and the sheets were dirty. The bathroom towels were very used and thin. Not at all what I expected for 500 a night. The noise level was horrible and we could not fall a sleep till 3 am.

• N8744HZba (2/5): Find Somewhere Else - Find somewhere else to stay, management unresponsive when a blizzard grounded tons of flights and delayed our trip a day, thus forcing us to miss our stay at this hotel. Gave them almost a two day notice, and all we got was a bunch of attitude from the front desk, and unanswered phone calls from management. They had our money already for our reservation so could care less if we made it there or not as they still got paid.

• ADRIENNE (5/5): For 1 night it was a clean and safe place- reminiscent of a hostel. - Location on Duval Street Noisy and rundown but clean. Bed was comfy but pillows were not. Pool area chairs were ripped and dirty. Building was safe with a security code to enter after 6 pm bc no staff on site.

• Michael (1/5): Terrible hotel, old and dirty and the receptionist was miserable. Location on Duval Street was good. - The location was great. Reception only 2m square. Lift not working. Daytime receptionist rude and miserable (at best). Decor 1960s and cheap. Carpets on stairs filthy. Bathroom really tiny. Breakfast room tiny, poor selection of food and very little of it (we asked for more yoghurt and you’d have thought we’d asked for the moon) and no tea available. Plastic knives and forks in dirty plastic bags. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It was old, in disrepair, dirty and the receptionist was miserable.

Walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Room was clean and quiet. Hotel seemed liked it was recently renovated. Around .8 mile walk from Key West Express ferry drop off location.

• John (6/5): Wish I could give this place a better rating. For what I paid per night I expected much more. - Good location but that meant noisy at night in our room. Free parking. Didn’t feel very clean. Older building with slanted floors. Wood floor in our room was dirty, after showering I walked a couple times across the floor and my feet were black on the bottoms, we were on the third floor, so it wasn’t street dirt. I’ve stayed in much nicer places for a whole lot less money but not in Key West.

A number of the reviews I read complained about the noise ( pretty minimal considering the location—bring a sound machine if you are bothered). A number also complained about front desk staff: I found everyone to be gracious and helpful and could not understand what people were complaining about. No complaints at all.

Located walking distance to all the bars shops and restaurants. It had a nice pool area with balcony overlooking all the fun! The property was dated and the rooms smelled very musty. We tried to crack a window for fresh air but they were locked shut.

No bar, restroom was locked, and a vending machine was out of order. We requested washcloths for our room multiple times and never got any. 1 cloth for 4 people.

• Kimberly (4/5): Not much for your money - Very disappointed. The location was great but there is no place to unpack anything. Only a cabinet, no drawers. No vanity in the bathroom to put anything. One lady at the desk was not friendly at all. She seemed very disgruntled. No place to leave luggage after checking out til time to go to the airport. Got clean towels daily but no coffee. Daily breakfast was the same only dry bagels and muffins. Milk was warm.No cream for the coffee. Location was the best part The only thing I did like was location and bed was comfy. The lady that check us in was nice & friendly. The other lady acted like we were bothering her.

• Viktoria (8/5): Altogether we were satisfied, but most probably wouldn’t stay again. - The location is great and what is a big plus, even though we were facing Duval street, it wasn’t as loud as I thought it was gonna be. Free parking is available just down the street, which is really comfortable in downtown Key West. The overnight lady was really nice. Another plus is the bike rental - $15 for a day and we could bring it back as late as we wanted to (as we left it in a bike locker at the parking lot). Communication with the reception was a nightmare - out of the 8 times I called them, they only answered once and even then they weren’t helpful. The breakfast is more like a snack, but at least it’s free (def wouldn’t pay for it!). Knives are not available, so you can chose if you want to spread the cream cheese with a spoon or a fork :D during our stay they didn’t really care about refilling the station and when trying to ask for something, no one was at the reception, so we just looked in the drawers and refilled the missing things ourselves. There is a nice rooftop terrace where you could have your breakfast, however, the cushions were wet every single morning - so you better enjoy damp clothes if you want to have your breakfast outside.

• KIMBERLY B (9/5): We’d stay here again. - Central location on the corner of Duvall Street. Walking distance to everything. Parking was included which was a short distance 100 meters from the hotel. We parked the car and never needed again. The hotel has been upgraded with hard surface flooring, no carpet, upgraded tile in the bathroom. The room was a large corner room which overlooked two streets. Beach towels were provided and on the bed upon arrival. Breakfast included fresh OJ, fresh Florida oranges, boiled eggs, toastable varieties of bread, bagels, French toast, waffles, yogurt, and coffee or tea. Each floor had dispensable water to refill your own. The staff was very friendly and quick to help. The fire alarm was chirping when we checked in our room. We reported the issue, went to park the car, and by the time we returned the battery in the alarm was already replaced for us. Great. The pool is small but the decks are large for this location. Perhaps larger curtains for darkening the room at night. Otherwise bring eye mask if you are sensitive to light. The air conditioning was set at 70 and does not go colder. It was cool enough for us.

• Global41174143756 (2/5): Avoid - Rude receptionist, but this was just the beginning. After diner, as we came back to the hotel, we discovered that the bed sheets were not changed from the previous guests. Stains and lots of hair... Never had this happen before. In top of this, the mattresses were terrible. I will never come back.

• Tetiana (1/5): Don’t stay there - The worst place ever The manager is terribly rude, my reservation was canceled for no reason. Imagine I was with my five year old daughter and a service dog in the evening and they just told me in my face I don't accept you because I don't like you. I provided all the documents for the service dog, including medical. They even threatened to throw us out. This is a terrible place, never stay here. The manager is inadequate and aggressive, your life could be in danger

Staff was good, The room allotted to us was good however we found bedbugs and informed the receptionist. They were very helpful and they changed our room.
• Marc (1/5): Lieber die Finger weglassen - Die Lage war ok, solange man ein Zimmer zur Poolseite hat. Das Zimmer hat extrem müffelig, unangenehm gerochen. Die Einrichtung ist heruntergekommen, teilweise defekt und abgelebt. Die Gänge im Hotel sind eng, das Frühstück monoton und extrem wenig Auswahl. Sollte man abends duschen wollen muss man mit lauwarmen bis kalten Wasser rechnen. Die Klimaanlagen im Zimmer und im Außenbereich ( Pool) sind extrem laut. Bei Ankunft Flecken und Haare auf der Bettwäsche. Völlig überteuertes Hotel, nie wieder.

• Birgit (7/5): Perfekte Lage, mit ein paar Abstrichen, aber durchaus empfehlenswert - Die Lage ist perfekt an der Ecke der Duvalstreet. Das Zimmer war auch relativ groß. Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle waren vorhanden. Der beheizte Pool war schön und die Liegen waren hochwertig, aber schon etwas älter. Das Frühstück war ausreichend mit gekochten Eiern. Das Personal war unfreundlich und grüsste noch nicht einmal beim vorbeigehen. Check-in war nur zwischen 16 und 18 Uhr möglich. Nachts war es relativ laut, aber das ist an der Ecke der Duvalstreet auch nicht anders zu erwarten.
