• Megan (9/5): The b&b was perfect for our needs! - The location is great. An easy walk to the old section of Quebec, and right on the Plains of Abraham. A quick walk to Rue Petit Champlain which has lots of restaurants. There is a small fridge in the entryway which was very handy, and access to a coffee maker. Clean towels and other items were available as needed. I think the cost for breakfast seemed a little steep at $35 per person, but we didn’t partake, so maybe it is excellent and worth every cent. Be prepared to pay an extra $25 per day for parking.

Désolant pour un bed & breakfast. - Tout ce dont on avait besoin (sauf débarbouillette et serviette mais on nous a dit où les prendre) était disponible. qu'il n'y ait personne pour nous recevoir. On a pris un Bed & Breakfast pour cette raison. En plus j'ai reçu les communications en anglais sans pouvoir les traduire sur le site. J'ai envoyé un courriel mais ça n'a rien changé. Même chose pour le déjeuner je n'avais pas compris qu'il fallait réserver en même temps que la chambre. Ça plutôt l'air d'un Airbnb.

• Maya (9/5): Agréable et confortable, correspondait à nos attentes. - La chambre était très propre et le lit très confortable. Nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin. De plus, l’hébergement est très bien situé au plan géographique. Les chambres ne sont pas très bien isolées, nous entendions beaucoup les gens marcher et parler à l’étage, ce qui peut être dérangeant.

• Louis (3/5): Not as good as it used to be. - Low price for this part of the city. No staff on site but it is designed like this. However, the steps leading up to the B&B were not shoveled and the lower part of the steps has hard packed snow that is slippery, especially for someone carrying luggage. The owners could have at least shovelled and kept clean this part of the stairs, if not the entire stairs. I stayed here 11 years ago, with staff on site and it was much better.

J'ai adoré ma chambre et si un jour je dois réserver une chambre dans le même secteur je prendrais la même. It was very cozy and comfortable, and the location was convenient for walking around the city. No complaints, everything was great!

• Andree (3/5): Nous ne sommes pas restés, on est reparti après 30 minutes le temps de trouver un autre endroit. - Les grandes escaliers de l’entrée principale étaient en réparations. On devait entrer pas en arrière, ce n’était pas indiqué sur leur site. Le couvre-lit et les draps étaient vieux et usés.
• Diane (4/5): I’d stay somewhere else. - The location is great for walking around the area. The front wooden stairs going up to the entrance are in much needed repair. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and I’d say a light cleaning was done in the room. One of the amenities included in the room was a tv. We drove 7 hours that day and we were looking forward to chill and watch tv. Staff are not present at this location so I called the number at 5:30 pm about the tv issue. They showed up at 10pm with a much smaller tv. We were already in bed when they arrived unannounced. We never did watch the tv. We were up early and gone the next day.

Le coût du déjeuner est trop élevé. De plus il n’est pas mentionné qu’il y a seulement un stationnement. Le matelas du lit devrai être changé, très dur et inconfortable

Nous avons donc perdu du temps à essayer toutes les combinaisons.Nous n'avions pas le numéro de la chambre non plus.Nous avons donc appelé et la dame ne maîtrise pas très bien le français. Comme notre chambre était près de l'entrée nous avons entendu vers 2:00 a.m des gens qui essayaient de rentrer mais qui ont probablement eu le même problème que nous c'est à dire pas le bon code pour rentrer. P.S La porte de l'entrée ne ferme pas complètement

• Dan (3/5): - Clean, liked the old building. We had a steep flite of steps into the hotel. No elevator, no front desk. We were emailed our room was #2 on the first floor but when we got there we found out our room was on the second floor. Very hard to carry luggage up and down the stairs case. If the cleaning lady wasn't there to tell us our room had changed, I don't know what we would have done. Nice place but not for the elderly or someone with bad legs or back.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer, in dem die Schiebetür zum Bad extrem schwergängig war. Frühstück für 35 CAD haben wir natürlich nicht genutzt, eigentlich ist so etwas dann kein B & B. Der Check-in war etwas holperig, wir mussten durch Anrufe nach den Codes fragen.

• Louise Trudel (8/5): B&B bien situé - Bel endroit, très bien situé. Propre. Je n'ai pas utilisé le stationnement de la maison puisque je n'ai pas trouvé comment y accéder ! J'ai utilisé le stationnement public à proximité. L'hébergement situé sur Grande-Allée est au coeur de l'action nocturne, bars et restaurants. Le soir et jusqu'aux petites heures il y a beaucoup de bruit des fêtards ! L'escalier extérieur est particulier puisque la distance entre les marches est non conforme.

Il y avait trois lits dans la chambre, ce qui est pratique pour une famille. C'est un peu impersonnel, car il n'y a personne à l'accueil, simplement une boite avec les clés.

• marjorie (5/5): Hôtel bien situé mais trop cher pour la qualité. - L'emplacement de l'hôtel est un atout pour visiter la ville de Québec à pied et on y dort bien car c'est calme. Il est plutôt simple d'accéder à la chambre d'hôtel grâce à la boîte à clé. Je n'ai pas apprécié devoir monter 3 étages sans ascensseur et découvrir un hôtel bien moins bien que sur les photos. Je ne comprends pas comment cet hôtel peut être si bien noté. Le 1er escalier pour accéder à l'hôtel est bancal, la décoration est vielliote, les escaliers et les tables sont recouverts de plastique, le sol est en moquette. Nous avions une grande chambre mais sous les combles ce qui nous obligé à baisser la tête sur les 3/4 de la surface. Il n'y a pas de quoi faire un thé ou un café dans la chambre. Les verres à dispo étaient sales. La salle de bain est aussi viellote, les savons ne m'ont pas donné envie de les utiliser. Le petit déjeuner est horriblement cher (35$CAD /pers) pour 3 tranches de pomme, 1 oeuf brouillé, 1 croissant réchauffé et thé ou café, le tout pris dans une salle sinistre avec la cuisine séparée par un paravent. Vous trouverez de meilleurs petits déjeuner à l'extérieur pour 3 fois moins cher et meilleur !

• Tania (7/5): Comfortable place to stay with excellent location - Excellent location, right outside the Plains of Abraham with easy access to Old Québec. Spacious room with cute touches (i.e. automatic lights that turn on when you walk past them at night, toothbrush timer). AC worked but wasn't turned on until we got there, and in the heatwave it took time for the room to cool. It had everything we needed. The beds were not ready for check in time at 4 pm, so we were asked to wait in the hallway for about 10 minutes so the beds could be made. I also didn't like that there was a shared fridge in the hallway, and would have felt much more comfortable with my own fridge in the room.

Camera molto grande e fuori c’erano a disposizione acqua e frigo. Ottima multipresa con usb e piccolo armadio a muro. Anche il bagno ok forniti anche bagnoschiuma e shampoo. Le scale per arrivare alla camera: sia quelle dell’ingresso che quelle interne sono molto strette: portare su le valigie molto difficile ma anche senza rischi di cadere in un attimo
