Guest Reviews
- Ghoutham Narayanan (10/5): - Great location
- Anthony (10/5): - Very happy with our stay here, 4 nights in July. Air conditioning worked, room was small but adequate and very clean. A few small niggles but nothing worth reporting. Staff were friendly. Location was very convenient for airport transfers and city centre. Great pizzas just over the road. Would stay here again if I was coming back to Paris.
- Kaan (10/5): - I love the staff!
- Linda (10/5): Paris stay - Hotel reception staff were lovely - very helpful. Decor was dated and rooms could have done with a good deep clean. Beds were comfortable though .
- Alade (10/5): - Nice
- Joan (8/5): - Las de limpiezan no respetan el no molestar, paso mas de una ocasion
- Tom (6/5): - Although our stay was brief, I would not recommend it if you are physically challenged.
Appears nice and staff was friendly however our room was on the second floor and the elevator stopped short and we had to negotiate a half flight of winding stairs with our heavy luggage. Adding to that was the spiral stairs with little landing space to step on and only the bannister railing to hold on to.
Once in the room, it was clean and orderly but the bed took up about 80% of the room space, there was no closet and the bathroom was tiny which made it difficult to use given our limited mobility, had to be very careful using the shower and it seemed like the water flow was timed and decreased the longer it was on. Also there was only one electrical outlet in the entire room which made it difficult to keep all our required electronic items charged. Window was nice but the view was of a site that was a “construction trash pile” so we kept the curtains closed.
Would not recommend this place to anyone with limited mobility but it was clean though small and the stairs are probably fine for a much younger person, yet it was easy to get out and walk around and find public transport. Nice place but I wouldn’t stay there again.
- Orson (8/5): Tight fit but can sleep well - Very tight by American standards. Hard to maneuver around but good place to get a to good night's rest.
- Jade Anne (8/5): - Staff are friendly and helpful. Area is nice, walkable and felt local and less touristy.
- Sara (8/5): - Close to metro station. Staff were very kind to let us check in a little early. Rooms clean but hotel is a little run down inside.
- Sandra (2/5): Overall horrible experience - My stay was à complete nightmare, on arrival had to paid 15 or 17€ tax ok, got to the room which more like a single room but it’s stated double, it’s was very small with no coffee station or fridge. It was filthy the bed sheet had someone else hairs on it, the was hair on the floors, duvet cover had blood stains, the shower has mould in one corner, when I spoke to the receptionist He completely just brushed off stating that it’s just hair from the cleaners, that the mould isn’t mould but colour rubbed off. That the was absolutely nothing the could do. I was left vulnerable sleeping in bad conditions, had to use my coat as blankets and put towels in bed to sleep in. Despite the stuffs being nice and polite. Overall I had horrible experience.
- Kirsty (10/5): - Really great property, excellent links to the metro and you’re within walking distance of the vibrant Montmartre which is one of the most beautiful places in Paris. Little corner shop and a pharmacy within stones throw and some lovely boulangerie‘s in the area too! Literally 5 minutes to Guy Môquet metro station brilliantly placed. Rooms are on the small side but have all the key amenities you’ll need. Only small issue we had was with the bathroom sliding door not closing properly, but it wouldn’t be enough for us not to stay again and I’m sure if we had asked the staff would’ve absolutely rectified the issue. Talking about the staff, they are all so helpful and lovely!! Can do nothing but reccomend this place for your trip to Paris!!
- Anne (10/5): - Only had a one night stay with my son but value for money not the biggest but well worth the money and good spot for the metro would definitely use again
- Ross (8/5): - Good transport links, great staff, plenty of shops and a smaller selection of cafes and restaurants. I would definitely stay again
- Maud (10/5): - Très bon petit hôtel de quartier. Propre, pratique et calme. Bon petit déjeuner et equipe très sympa. Tout près de station Guy Môquet.
- DANIEL (10/5): - Very happy with our choice of hotel. Staff were professional, courteous and friendly. Would consider rebooking if we visit this city again.
- Maria (10/5): - All the staff at Hôtel Le Mireille were very helpful and accomodating. My accomodation was clean, the bed super comfortable. Great choice of breakfast.
Would recommend.
- Jaycel (10/5): - Had a wonderful stay. Staff provided my request for a particular room. Just walking distance to metro and bus stations.
- Edward (10/5): Pretty good stay - Comfy bed and a good view. The room is a little small.
- Zac (10/5): - Great stay. Clean and very happy!
- Timothy Joseph (10/5): - Very cute little French hotel
- David (10/5): - I’d recommend staying here.
- Mariana (10/5): - I would stay here again, it was great for my 2 night stay in Paris
- Yuliya (10/5): - Very quite small boutique hotel. Excellent breakfast, nice and helpful staff. Walking distance to the center 2 km
- K (6/5): - Was not very clean, towels had staining and toilet bowl had stains as well. Shower had mildew and bathroom appliances were in poor condition. Location was good, nothing spectacular.
- Colby (8/5): - Great Location. Breakfast was simple but quite nice to start the bed. Rooms/bathroom were small but nice and cozy and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable.
- Alexander (4/5): - We made a mistake and booked this hotel twice: for our first week in Paris and upon return to Paris on our 3rd week of holiday in France. The only reason was its location: close to Montmartre.
This review is related only to the first week. We found ourselves in a small hotel with tiny rooms and very inconvenient stairs. Although there was a small lift , it was quite dirty, full of dust inside and outside. Superior double room appeared to be 12 sq.m. room - quite claustrophobic. However, we were told that there are even smaller - 9 sq. m. rooms. Toilet, vanity and shower were pretty dirty. We had to clean the toilet ourselves. Cleanliness is the big issue in this hotel. Hotel staff seemed to be friendly and trying to assist where possible.
Our second week brought us a lot of surprises and unexpected stress. We regretted that we booked this hotel.
- Alexander (2/5): - We booked this hotel for our first week in France and for our last (third) week in France and that was a big mistake. Although the location was good, the hotel was tiny with extremely small claustrophobic rooms. Our first room was just 12 sq.m. and most of the rooms are just 9 sq.m. One of the biggest issues was also cleanliness. Toilets and vanity were very dirty and we had to clean it ourselves to be able to use it.
The first week staff was good and quite friendly.
They even suggested to put us into the only big room in the hotel on the ground floor when we come to Paris for the last week of our holiday.
However, that room is located between reception and external dining area, where people come to smoke.
We got much more noise plus issues with smoke.
Some hotel guests came to smoke at 11PM and we had to shut our window.
The worst happened when the hotel owner decided to take a mattress out of the portable sofa bed / chair that was standing in our room. While we were sitting in the reception area he didn't bother to ask any permission and entered the room taking all our personal belongings off that sofa-bed and pulling out the mattress. When I entered the room and asked him why he is doing it without our permission he started to scream, shout that he is the owner, he can do whatever he wants. It was impossible to explain him that he is not supposed to touch his guests personal belongings without their permission. We had to go to the police when he demanded us to check out..
- Mark (8/5): - Really enjoyable stay, clean hotel in a quiet area with metro stations nearby
- Nestor (8/5): - The staff was excellent! And the small details were fantastic!
- Jacqui (8/5): - Everything about the stay was great, highly recommend…the only surprise was coming out of the lift to the stairs of death leading to my room. That said the staff helped me to carry my suitcase up and then again down.
- Mandeep (10/5): - The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. They held our bags for us on the last day and my birthday cake which they were kind enough to let us put in their fridge. Sadly, someone had eaten a slice from the cake in the time it had been in the fridge and we only realised once we had left the hotel. It was a bit frustrating and would have been fine if it was a mistake but no one told us. The room itself was fine, if not a bit small. Air con was good for the first two nights then stopped working which made it a bit hot. The shower had a few scuff marks in and the floor was a bit dusty but decent for a budget hotel. Despite these the negatives, most of the staff were absolutely lovely and very accommodating.
- delphine (8/5): - La propreté laisse à désirer. Poussières sur les lumnaires, cheveux dans les coins de la salle de douche. Ménage peu scrupuleux mais hotel agréable et accueil très agréable.
- Teresa (10/5): - It was clean and cute. The staff was very accommodating. It wasn’t a bad walk to the Metro and we were able to leave our bags the day we checked out and knew they were safe while we went out. Fresh towels and bedding every day!
- Gerard (10/5): - The property was clean and quaint. The bed was comfortable and accessing the WIFI was easy. Staff was friendly. Lots of food options around. I felt relaxed on the property.
- Jonathan (10/5): - Lovely hotel, great price, room was comfortable, air conditioned, shower was great. Will stay again next time im in paris.
- jennifer (10/5): Clean comfortable affordable - Perfect room for a solo traveler. The room was comfortable, clean and a great value. It was a close walk to a metro and about a 15 minute walk to the Moulin Rouge
- Jacqueline (10/5): - The room was perfectly wonderful!
It was small of course, it is in Paris after all. But the beds were comfortable (we had 2 twin beds) the window opening onto the street was lovely, the shower with its waterfall shower head was really nice, and the room had everything you need.
The only thing it didn’t have was some thing to make tea or coffee, but there was a coffee and tea machine in the lobby that you could use for that.
If you stay here, just a note that using the elevator requires a few stairs.
- and I highly recommend the nearby Italian restaurant with the wood oven baked pizza!
- Lily (8/5): - We stayed for four nights and were really impressed with the hotel. The small size of the room took a bit of getting used to- but we assume that's the same all across Paris. It had everything you need, but the only thing that didn't seem to work was air-con/heating, which wasn't too bad as it was June, but may be an issue in the winter months.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice and helpful staff - My arrival to the hotel got very delayed due to transport reasons and the staff were lovely about checking me in late at night - I really appreciated it.
- Melquea (2/5): - Skip this hotel. Bed bugs, the workers (except for the one curly haired guy) we’re all unhelpful. You make requests and never gets through. They just lie and don’t go out of their way. The room is small and terrible view of a garbage dump when the picture shows nice buildings. We asked to change so many times and they refuse. Real fast ends too early, the cleaners blocks the elevator in the morning, too much stairs for luggage. Cannot recommend this place especially for a small family. Did I mention there’s no queen bed!? Just two singles pushed together and it’s a pain in the back I had to sleep on the floor one morning. The only thing that was decent was the location was inside of Paris. Find another hotel! Oh and FRESH BED BUGS BITE EVERY MORNING!
- John J (10/5): - Good location. Not too touristy. Good options for food and drink. Very diverse. The staff were friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
- Susan (8/5): - It was small but comfortable and it was good.
- Delia (8/5): - This property is gery small. You must use stairs to get to the rooms. There is an elevator but you still have to climb up or down. It stops between floors. Its an older property and is worn and dusty. The linens are clean, and the beds comfortable. It has a good breakfast with some pastries, fruit, eggs you can cook to uour choice in an egg cooker, toaster, for breakfast until 10 and an amazing coffee maxhine at your disposal 24/7. The staff is lovely and patient to explain that you can't change the air or use the upper lock on any rooms. There is one accessible room on the first floor. They will keep your luggage if you need to drop them off before or after your reservation. Overall a budget friendly stay.
- Lauren (10/5): All you need and very comfortable. - We had a wonderful stay here for a 3 night trip. Clean, affordable and very comfortable beds! We didn't try the breakfast so can't comment on that. Staff were very helpful at booking us a taxi & general directions when it came to going home. We had a lovely little street view out of the large window.
- MONICA (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay.
- Harriet (8/5): Quite a find in Paris! - Hotel was very comfortable, good bed.. Room very small and not enough storage, only one drawer and a few hangers on an open rack. Excellent shower and sink and very friendly anf helpful stsff, some of whom spoke quite good English, although my fluent French was fun to try. Very good hotel at a moderate price! in a great location.
- Sarah (10/5): - Second time we have stayed here would recommend.
- Silva (10/5): - Very friendly staff and clean room
- Liam (10/5): - Very cute area, hotel was clean, staff were very helpful and friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): No complaints - Hotel Le Mireille was lovely, no complaints. Such a nice scenery from the 6th floor. Very helpful staff.
- Julie (10/5): - Lovely hotel with very comfy beds
- Liam (8/5): Room looks a little bit smaller than the pictures. - Me and my fiancée stayed for a week in Paris here. Room looked a lot bigger in the pictures, so felt a bit small.
The staff were really helpful and easy to speak with.
- Teresa (10/5): - Nice
- Maria (10/5): - Lovely hotel situated in a very quiet street in17th arrondissement. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend!
- Oliver (8/5): - The staff was nice. The room was definitely smaller than our previous one at our first location. The shower walls needed attention (mold and mildew and recaulking in the lower corners). The neighborhood was filthy. Trash in sight at every step. For an entire five days of our stay, piles of uncollected trash bags, some busted wide open, lay there on the bigger streets. Definitely the lower side of town.
- Richard (10/5): - Friendly efficient staff. Clean quiet rooms. Close to everything.
- Steven (6/5): - Typical value, welcoming staff, Superior double very small, probably not worth added cost. Great location close to 17th/18th and Montmartre attractions, but also good Paris walking streets (cafes, shops).
- Joanne (8/5): Good stay - The room was very small but clean. Personnel was great!! Overall the property is tired looking. Area great.
- william (10/5): - Great stay and very good to us non french speakers
- Lourdes (8/5): - Was great!
- Anne (10/5): - Excellent, friendly reception at all time.
Clean hotel. Comfy beds.Air con. Magnifying mirror in bathroom, and hairdryer. Shampoo bottles, shower caps, plenty of clean white towels. Good value.
- Carmen (10/5): - I stayed with my daughter and we found the hotel to be lovely. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and we loved the area, it felt safe and we liked the area.
- Sydney (10/5): - Loved the neighborhood it’s in! The wifi didn’t always work but the place has nice people working there and they do a good job despite that.
- Mohammadreza (6/5): - All the rooms are too small.
- Noah (8/5): Nice little gem - Nice area, close to metro and streets full of restaurants and business about 1 minute walk away, Receptionist was very nice was able to get me into my room early, actually it was a different room but mine wasn't ready. I had been flying through the night so i was happy to take a shower and drop off my stuff and explore the city.
- Keri (8/5): - This hotel was very convenient and around the corner from our family member. There were some issues with the noise at night. People were coming and going which did make it difficult to sleep soundly. Free coffee would have been a plus, but the coffee fee was 3 euros. It was less to purchase a coffee at the corner boulangerie.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel in Montmartre - I think the room is very spacious. But the view from my room was not so good. Some of the staff were very nice and helpful. But I found the wifi very slow and sometimes almost impossible, which to me, was very frustrating. The staff explained to me it is because the hotel was completely full. But I think it was partly because they made the wifi public to all.
The area was alright. There are supermarkets nearby. But there aren't a lot of things to see nearby. I stayed for 7 nights. I took the bus line 21 to and from the very central part of Paris. But the issue with bus line 21, the traffic was quite bad usually. So it actually takes longer time than I expected on transport. But if you wish to wander mainly in Montmartre, this hotel is a great option, especially that the price is not too expensive as compared with other hotels in central Paris.
Also, if you carry a big suitcase, although there is lift, but the lift is situated between the floors, so you still need to carry your suitcase with the stairs.
- Jennifer (8/5): Thoroughly Enjoyable Base - The hotel is situated in a typically French side street. Our room was small and cleaned perfectly every day, including replacement of towels and toiletries. The air conditioning in the room was very much appreciated, as the weather was hot during our stay. There was no kettle provided in the room but we had a continental breakfast each day, which was plentiful although we would have liked the addition of fruit. The staff were all cheerful and helpful. We walked around Montmartre and into the centre of Paris but there was a metro nearby which we also used. There were plenty of small shops and bakeries nearby for water and snacks.
- Reshad (2/5): Terrible immediately called accidentally booked! - Terrible accidentally booked non-refundable, called immediately to cancel and they did not let me.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Perfect. Clean, comfortable, and the staff was most accommodating.
- Yukondenali (10/5): - As a first timer in paris I was really worried about hotel accomodations and i came across this hotel and the reviews were 4 stars and no negative reviews .. when we arrived we were greeted by a friendly and accomodating staff no hastles ,the room was what the picture was on the website , newly renovated i would say.. not runned down.. clean, i cannot compare.other rooms in paris coz this is the only one weve been in . But not tight , cute simple , cleaned everyday.. just overall experience was amazing.no complaints .. area was convenient to grocery stores restaurants shops and more.. metro is just around the corner. Highly recommend this hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything is wonderful!!! The hotel is located close to a Metro station and tourists places are near as well. My room was very clean and the general service is excellent.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Being my first time in Paris and traveling alone, I wanted To make sure I was staying in a safe hotel. I have to say, everything was great. The staff was really nice and helpful. My room was perfect with a nice view. I also have to To say I was Very impressed on how on the 5 nights i stayed there my room was cleaned up very well, with new towels every time. I will totally return and recommend.
- AnaT. (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Le Mireille.
Thank you for everything. Good location and staff super friendly.
- Fernando (10/5): Very good. - Very good choice for Paris, if you are not looking for hotel amenities. Located three blocks metro station; good small restaurants around. The rooms are very small; at the same time very clean and friendly staff.
- Cornelius (8/5): Nice, quaint hotel... - I am not sure if it was the luck of the draw or just a "Hotels.com" deal, but we always seem to get a crappy hotel room when we go with Hotels.com. In spite of that, the staff at the hotel was kind enough to change our room from the ^room accessible from the lobby, next to the front entry door, by the bathroom^ to a more suitable room on the 3rd floor. The hotel was very clean and nice. The room was a comfortable size considering we were gone most of the day and night and only used it to sleep/bathe. The staff was very helpful and held our luggage on day one since we arrived early. The breakfast bar ($11 euros per person) was not worth it considering what is in the local area. We were about a 40+ minute walk to some of the major tourist sights (except the Socre Coeur - 15 minute walk). We weren't very familiar with the transit system so we walked out and Uber'ed back if we were too tired. Plenty of good restaurants in the area, especially the pizza place across the street - we didn't find this until the last night - great food and service. I would definitely stay here again.
- CPS (8/5): - The hotel was fine. The gentleman who checked us in was terrific. The only request I had was to drop mail-stamped mail. The woman at reception (day 2) said we don’t do that. Not a big deal, but she didn’t offer an alternative, for example, there’s a post box a block away, etc. i didn’t think this was an unreasonable request. The hotel room was tiny but clean and decorated nicely. The breakfast buffet was lovely and well worth the cost.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel room was clean and in a good location - quiet neighbourhood and close to the Metro.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Neighborhood hotel was nice, clean, with nice staff. WiFi was not very good.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It was a cute and cozy place. Unfortunately the cleaning was unexisted, dust, hair and dirt was there before our arrival. Clean cups/utensils were not washed or replaced. Simple items such as shower jel and tea bags were not filled, when asked some staff were friendlier than others. Hotel shows age which is fine if it was cleaned. When nicely told staff, they simply listened and nodded. Disappointed and not returning to this one😞
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel is in a great location and is really cute! The beds are very comfortable and bedding is clean. I stayed with a friend a few days ago and then again by myself on my way home and would recommend this hotel to others.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel was nice friendly staff. They were able to hold our luggage until check in time and our room ended up being ready before our actual check in time which was great.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We liked that that it wasn't a tourist area it was a real Paris experiance just outside of downtown. I don't speak French and the Hotel staff tried very hard but spoke very little English which made it difficult. The front desk staff were very friendly and professional. The Brochant Metro station is a short 5min walk away (just off Rue de Clichy) .
- Verified traveler (10/5): - What a charming picturesque hotel! Beautiful inside and out. Very clean, modern amenities, and pleasant staff. There isn’t another hotel like it in Zermatt. Would definitely stay again.
- Stephanie (10/5): - Everyone was very friendly and helpful! The bed was comfortable and everything was really clean. I really enjoyed staying here while visiting Paris :)
- Katrina (10/5): - Very Cozy room! I traveled alone and felt so cozy and safe. Clean, nice staff. Good location. Not a far walk to Sacre Cour. I even walked to Effiel tower but it was far.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This hotel is a small boutique hotel. We had a superior room with a queen bed, even tho the room was small, we felt it was very comfortable and more than adequate. The bathroom was very clean and shower was great. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was advertised as soundproof, which indeed was very quiet, we could hear some noise from the room above. The hotel is within walking distance of Montmatre.
- Simon (10/5): Great Find - 1. Extremely clean
2. Very friendly staff
3. Good location
4. Air-conditioning
This hotel is an absolute bargain. Yes the rooms are on The smallest side, but I would rather sacrifice that than the above attributes. Given the price (55), this has to be the best deal in Paris.
- Richard (10/5): Clean & neat hotel for exploring the city - Spent 5 nights here in August.
Rooms are clean and contemporary with air conditioning.
Location is good for exploring the Montmarte area and the Sacre Coeur. Easy metro links into centre too on line 13.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The room was comfortable and the air conditioning and wifi preformed well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was close to all transit and amenities.
- Tammy L (10/5): - Room was great and had all the essentials. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The air conditioning and wifi preformed well. The location was close to all transit and amenities. I would stay again!
- Eva (10/5): Pleasant experience - Hotel is clean, it has good personal service and is in a good location. Close to restaurants and points of interest
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent service. Excellent staff. Excellent area and building. The antique building rebuilt to adjust to a modern design living. It is just great. I definitely recommend. Thank you very much for the choice. Expedia
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at Hôtel Le Mireille. The staff where so friendly and helped us with anything we needed. My boyfriend and I decided to go to Euro Disney last minute and staff had no problem printing our tickets for us! The room was smaller than expected but it was perfect for us as we just needed a comfy clean room because we were out exploring all day. The location was perfect for us and metro stops are within 5 minutes of the hotel. This is probably the best value hotel we have ever stayed in!
- Anne-Therese (10/5): Fab hotel, would recommend. - Lovely hotel, this is our 2nd stay.
Hotel is in a fairly nice area, well located to local attractions and metro stations.
Staff are very helpful and the room was clean and bright.
- Brett (10/5): - Beautiful room with great air conditioning and WiFi. Short walk away from a lot of attractions
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Charming! Love the area, staff was very helpful. Feels like a cross between modern and old world with the spiral staircase
- Michele (8/5): - I liked this Hotel. Clean but small room. I think it was the smallest space we stayed in. Although the bathroom was not the smallest. Friendly and helpful staff. It was not close to a lot of the attractions we wanted to go to so we were stuck taking a cab or walking long distances. If I had more time and was braver I may have learned to do the subway.
