Guests must arrive at the pier at least 1 hour prior to departure as schedule may change based on weather conditions. Guests who arrive at Phuket or Krabi airport after noon will have to stay on the mainland and board the morning ferry to Ko Phi Phi.

Jay (10/5): Tara Inn - The hotel is right in the heart of the local attractions but without much noise. The staff are amazing and really look after you. This was demonstrated through sharing local tips of where to go and running my iPhone on the ferry as I accidentally left it in my room. This will be my trusted place to stay again when visiting Phi Phi.

Verified traveler (2/5): - We rocked here and asked to check in. The receptionist asked us to sit down while he checked the room. He came back 20min later telling us the room was now ready. So we head up to the room. First impressions are that it was filthy. So we had a bit of a close look at everything to make sure it's be alright to stay there. The bathroom: - Mouldy - Water every where, including drenched toilet paper (looked like he had just cleaned it while we waited for 20min at the reception. The bed: - Had holes all through the sheets ( some holes torn, others ripped) - looked under the sheets and found bed lice - found blood stains on the sheets To give a bit of context to what I am comfortable with. I am happy in a sleeping bag under a bit of tarp on a hiking trip. I however am not happy with torn sheets and bed lice. We left without staying a night here. We asked for a refund as we checked out only to be yelled at by the receptionist. Would recommend against anyone staying here.

Kevin (2/5): ants in bed, filthy bathroom. - the room and beds were filled with ants, there was a large hole in place of a doorknob on the bathroom door, the water in the sink came out brown, and the shower drain did not function. i am not fussy, but this really was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in.

Раннее бронирование - это роскошь, отсутсвие которой не позволило найти хороший отель заранее) Описание и отзывы соответствуют. Кондиционеров в номерах не было (только вентиляторы), постельное вызывало сомнения в свежести, номера просторные и весьма локаничны в наполнении - кровать, стул, столик, вентилятор и СЕЙФ!))).
Rober (2/5): Ausblick auf undichtes Abwasserrohr und Müll - Die Hütte bekommt durch ein riesiges Navhbargebäude keine Sonne ab. Der Eingangsbereich mit Blick auf die gebrochene Abwasserleitung an der Außenwand des Nachbargebäudes ist kein schöner Anblick. Die Badausstattung ist uralt. Gesamtzustand schmuddelig. Im Nachbargebäude befindet sich die Banana Bar mit lauter Party Musik täglich bis nach 2 Uhr
Øyvind (2/5): Just dont do it - The only positive thing about our stay ws leaving. One day earlier than we paid for. It is hard to understand how noisy this place is, but imagine putting your bed into a nightclub. The man working in the reception made every request into a huge debate with himself that he just ended up not understanding at all. The room were in an extremely poor condition and full with ants. Our room was provided with aircon but they demanded 800 baht per night to switch it on. For references we were a group of 29 yo guys out to party so we did not expect any comfort.

Erst gegen zwei Uhr nachts wird es ruhiger. Wände voll mit Dreck und Waschbecken bricht fast von der Wand ab. Alles undicht im Bad. Kein WiFi Empfang im Zimmer. 6 Nächte das selbe Handtuch. Trocknete nie das alles feucht war im Bad. Schimmel! Musste da raus, habe es nicht mehr ausgehalten

Sophie (6/5): Loud and very basic, but friendly staff - My partner and I stayed in a fan room only for 4 nights. Firstly, the staff were kind and helpful when you asked for something. The room itself is very basic, and does not get cleaned during your stay. Our room had a bed, sink, and combined shower/toilet room (ie there is no divider between them, the whole room gets wet). Towels were provided, and can be changed when asked. We were unbelievably hot with just the fan, it's deinfitely worth springing for the air con if you can. The inn is also right in the party area, so its incredibly loud at night. Probably suited to people staying out late, although for us with early morning dives we had to buy ear plugs. Super close to everything in the main part of Ko Phi Phi, beaches, bars, shops, restaurants.

Tiff (2/5): Waste of money, would not recommend. - Let me start by saying although I have standards I can rough it with the rest of them. However, this place was just full of surprises. The advertisement is vague and you don't get what you think you're getting. I had a private twin room. No AC, no wifi. The ad says "no wifi in some common areas"z my room is not a common area, I should have wifi, right? Wrong. Some shower components were broken, I had to fish the "bum gun" out of the toilet, did not flush well. No hot water. The bathroom is a rusty, smelly mess. And the drain was clogged so you're standing in your own filth as well as the original bathroom filth as you shower. The bed frame was dusty and the light bulb cover above it was broken, thought it might fall on my head while I slept (it was hot as well). The fan is in a weird spot so you don't really feel it. Usually every place I've been with just a fan had a mosquito net over the bed, this had none. And the bed was hard as a brick. In addition the ad says check-out is at noon, which I understand to be 12. The owner practically yelled at me when I asked and said NO NO, you leave at 11. Yeah, would not stay here again. Unless you are someone who is a true backpacker with no standards and just need a bed this is perfect. The rest of us who want a relaxing place to rest after a long sweaty day, look elsewhere. This place wasn't worth the 600 baht.
Koochie (4/5): Zentrale Lage - kurze Wege zu allem was man sucht. - Dezent freundliches Personal, hatte online gebucht für 600 THB - wollte dann gern verlängern für den gleichen Preis...Die Antwort war, dann buche doch wieder online. Ansonsten 800 BHT obwohl vor dem Laden ein Schild mit 700 BHT stand. Fand ich nicht korrekt und sind dann ausgezogen - ist ja nicht so, dass man nichts anderes findet auf Phi Phi...

Verified traveler (4/5): Nie wieder - Als erstes war keine Bichung bekannt. Mach langem diskutieren haben wir ein Zimmer bekommen. Angeblich sollen wir gratis Wasser bekommen, doch als wir das erwähnten würden wir aisgelacht. Das Wifi hat man nur in der Lobby. Durch die Har nebenan kann man nachts erst ab 2:00 Uhr schlafen. Das Zimmer würde nicht gereinigt und man fühlt sich generell nicht wohl darin.
Verified traveler (6/5): Nära allt och billigt - Perfekt för fedtsugna backpackers! Stannade 2 nätter och det var tillräckligt. Mitt i centrum så om du är där för avkoppling är inte detta ditt hotell, då musik spelas HÖGT till sena natten. Något ofräscht men sängen var okej!

justine (4/5): Hôtel convenable - L'hôtel est situé en plein cœur du quartier vivant de l'île. Notre chambre était assez bruyante le soir à cause des bars très proches. La chambre est tres simple, mais pas au plus propre (draps tachés). Le prix reste convenable par rapport aux autres hôtels de l'île.

A acessibilidade do quarto era bem ruim (muitas escadas) e a cama era bastante dura, longe de ser confortável. Não tem wifi nos quartos. Pra quem tem problema para dormir, pode ser bastante barulhento até umas 2 horas da manhã. A equipe do hotel é bastante atenciosa e prestativa.

The room itself was definitely not perfect, no wifi in rooms and the towels had a funky smell. If you like the party scene this place is perfect! Also very close to the beach!

Verified traveler (4/5): Cheap place but not clean and smells like raw s#*! - Tara Inn was one of the cheapest places we found on the island. 500 baht for basic double bed, private bath and one ceiling fan. Problems: the cleanliness was terrible. Looked like the toilet, bathroom floor or sink hadn't been scrubbed in years. Lots of grime and dirt. The bed was really uncomfortable and the sheets/towels did not smell or feel clean. The fist night we smelled a wave of sewage coming from the bathroom window but only for a few seconds however the second night we were in the room around 9 and the sewage smell came again but got so bad that we had to leave the room for 10 minutes waiting for it pass. It smelled like raw sewage and so strong it was hard to breathe. There is no wifi in the rooms and the wifi at reception is weak. Overall it was cheap for phi phi but we had to leave after two nights and spend more for a cleaner place. I don't recommend it.
Mauricio (4/5): Very noisy - We got the fan room and it was really hot even during the night. But the worst part was the noise. Don't expect to sleep before 3am. The bar around the corner plays live music every night. The bed is really hard. And no internet in the rooms, only at the reception.

The location was awesome right in the midst of it! Next to banana bar which is a great little place that serves delicious Mexican food and shows a movie every night at 7! Definitley coming back next time we are in phi phi :)

Santosh (8/5): Relaxing stay on Phi Phi island - Awesome place to live on such a small paradise ... please make sure to call Tara in before you reach as this is a small island and there is no taxi services. Check the room before getting in and make sure you have all the required amenities in for which you have signed in . Beach is very close by and ur right in middle of every thing still little far to have a good night sleep . This was a very nice place to stay on island in our budget .
