Robin (9/5): I would probably book this motel again if I return to Huron. - The 2 breakfasts were good. Hot food, sweet rolls and hot coffee right inside the door. The breakfast nook was cozy and clean and well attended. The TV and Wifi worked well. I really appreciated that. Parking was good too! Found a couple centipedes. They were already dead but ICK!! Just me!
Rodney (1/5): I have spent many nights in motels in my lifetime, this one wins the prize for the worst one ever! - Didn't eat Everything. The air conditioner didn't work. The carpet was in bad shape and had a tear in it exposing a tack strip with sharp protrusions. I tore my sock on it, but it could just as easily have ripped my foot open. The refrigerator was located so you had to turn sideways to walk by it.

Kathy (9/5): We have a wonderful time in Huron SD. Lots of activities to do around the hotel. - The continental breakfast was good. The hotel is conveniently located. And there is a park with water sports, 28 hole miniture golf and an icecream shop right behind it that you access through a walkway. The breakfast area is small.

We did not feel safe there. Our room was dirty from the sheets to the bathroom. There was hair in the bed and in the bathroom. The AC did not work. I would not suggest this motel to anyone.

Danny (10/5): - Stay at the Big Pheasant! Its the perfect place to stay if your on a motorcycle trip. Park right outside your door and the best rate in Huron. I’ve stayed here at least 20 times and it’s always the same.

The bathtub had a liner in it and water had collected underneath so it felt like we were on a paddle board while showering. I did alert the front desk as it could create a dangerous fall due to instability.

Verified traveler (4/5): Very disappointing - It wasn't clean, there was trash on the floor under the side of the beds, a phone but no phone jack (kinda scary) filth on the inside of the bathroom door like a dog was left in there & toilet seat was broken, no toilet paper! The pics show it. The female manager was very kind, but they obviously need better housekeeping staff.
