- Jacek (10/5): Dobra cena - Bardzo fajny obiekt w rozsądnej cenie.
- sylvia (10/5): Quiet setting not far from coast - Very quiet spot about 10 minutes walk from the sea. We took a bus from Coral Bay to Agiou Georgiou and walked back along the coast. Amazing coastline.
The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly.
We had a lovely balcony with a sea view.
- Zbigniew (8/5): Hotel Bela Rosa Miły spokojny pobyt - Tygodniowy pobyt w Hotelu w listopadzie. Jeśli chodzi o koszt pobytu to cena odpowiednia do warunków
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Gute ruhige Lage
Frühstück mit Blick auf Bananenpalmen
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Extremely helpful and friendly staff, great location , fantastic value for money.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not recommend at all - It was awful
Bad room
Bad bed
Dirty blanket
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Old, tatty, rather grubby. bare light bulbs in toom
- Christopher (8/5): Dive and be damned - Very good inexpensive hotel , short walk from beach - I used it as a base to go Diving in Coral bay Costas the manager is very helpful ! Clean rooms and nice English style breakfast WiFi that works !! If yr sea n sand it - hire a car. Dive school 20 mins walk with excellent restaraunt next door . Quiet and relaxing place - but its Cyprus so dont expect all the light switches to work ;)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Would really like to thank the owner who made us feel more than welcome he could honestly not do enough for us. Would recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a nice chilled break in Cyprus.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Value for money and owner very nice and obliging would recommend only thing was no towels provided
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Uniquelly rude and aggressive hotel manager Costas Economu
- Christopher (8/5): A week in Coral Bay without the Hassle - This was a budget hotel at a budget price, so don't expect the ritz. The breakfast was full English with a twist. Owner very friendly and helpful
- Munish (8/5): - It was a nice stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Good value for money Nothing major 6 of 10. Good location for relaxing. Very Small swimming pool. English breakfast only and after 8.00
Isola. Oral bah
- Margo (8/5): - Friendly staff willing to help. Good breakfast. Quiet place in the country with nice views.
- Kimberley (10/5): Awesome - This hotel is lovely! I stayed here previously and have never been disappointed. The owner and his son are great 👍 perfect location and nice views thanks for a great holiday guys
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice family run hotel located on the quiet fringes - I have stayed here before. Suits my needs perfectly. Friendly, flexible and always willing to help with anything.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Close to the beach. Didn't get breakfast, however it was in the price.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay very much.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Less than satisfied! Would not recommend!
- Gemma (2/5): Not as described - Nowhere near to any beach or amenities. Fridge only works when you are in the room meaning you wouldn’t be able to keep water cool. Pool looked like a building site!
We checked in, went to the room and promptly checked out and went over stay somewhere that was true to the description. We tried to find someone to say we were leaving but no one was around so we left the keys and emailed. Never heard back.
- Costas (2/5): - I guess you get what you pay for. It's very cheap, thus not of high standards. Big negative: shower was not clean. Staff was pleasant. Positive: close to good beach.
- Kenneth (8/5): Cheap, friendly staff and conveniently located - The place was clean, owner and staff were friendly and accomodating and it is situated near the beach as well as the Marine Divers dive shop
- Sandra (4/5): It's a Shame!!! This could be a great place.... - We stayed in the one of three studio apartments, the other two were just being used as storage. The owner didn't really want us to stay in the studio, but as we specifically wanted a fridge, which is why we booked the studio so we said we'd like to stay in it. It is possible that the rooms were better, as the main building is still being tidied up. But the studio was filthy dirty. Every surface and the floor hadn't been swept in ages, There was food, mouse and rat droppings and cockroaches all over the place. There was no hot water at all, although the owner said that he does turn the water on for one hour at 8am and for another hour at 7:30pm, sadly, we were up and out before 8am and we would come home to freshen up about 5pm before going back out for dinner, so we never got any of the water from a turned on heater. The Windows do not close and the curtains don't have anywhere near enough hooks to close properly, they just hang off the rails. None of the fitting are secure, all the taps were loose, the double bed is only supplied with a single size sheet and a single size army type blanket that is really rough. No cleaning was carried out either before or during our stay. The owner did say that if we left the key with him, he would do the house keeping, but all that was done, was that another two towels were left, and one of these was dirty.
- officergent01 (4/5): Quiet location - Seriously people, avoid this. It may well be cheap, but it is very poor indeed. The bathroom sink taps, were loose and moved when you opened them. The bath mixer was even worse. There were no plugs for sink or bath and one bath towel between two! the sink pedestal was upright, but nowhere near to the base of the sink. There was a large water stain in the bath and the toilet has never seen bleach since the hotel was built. Only one pillow each and a fridge that was filthy inside. It was ok for a couple of days but a family holiday? definitely not, people you will be seriously disappointed and it will ruin your well earned holiday.
It is in a quiet location, true, but we were woken by neighbourhood dogs barking constantly from 5am.
The reception was also dingy, with worn out sofas and generally messy. The manager? well he spent most of the time sitting in the sun rather than looking after the place.
- Champagne (10/5): Lovely Guest house - nice guesthouse close to the beach, with frienldly staff
- paige (8/5): - Hotel owner is absolutely fantastic, such a wonderful man and couldn’t recommend him enough.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Horrendous. Left after one night. - The place is horrendous. Dirty and unkept. Staff ignorant and we booked for 4 nights. Left after the first night and went somewhere 1/4 mike away that was about £8 more per night but 100% better.
- Jim (8/5): Quiet hotel - Despite some bad ratings, we found both the staff and hotel to be good. It is a little off the beaten track with few signs to it, but once found a real gem
The comments about the breakfast being the same each day were disproved when after a request a Greek style breakfast was provided. Eggs could be boiled, scrambled or by default fried.
The only slight disappointment was the tired decoration in the room and bathroom. However, Costas the owner, says he will be working on this before next season and there should be more direction signs.
Some form of evening meal is available upon request. The selection is as published but local specialities sometimes make an appearance. The value is very good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good value for money - Very good value for money but don't go if you expect luxury. The beds creaked very loudly at the slightest movement and there was not always any hot water. Costas, the owner is very charming and appears helpful but is so laid back any requests are not always acted on. The villa is quite a long walk from the nearest bars and beaches but there are plenty of tavernas, restaurants and the beaches are sandy with easy access to the sea.
- H (2/5): - Room didn.t seem ready- I had to ask for toilet paper. There was no hot water so I only had 1 shower in the whole week, and the shower was badly designed so there was water all over the floor- very dangerous!!! All in all had a miserable time and was glad to leave.
- Chris (8/5): Overnight stay for social event - Good overnight stop bed was comfortable. Pleasant inland view from room/balcony. Hotel owners are still preparing things for the coming season. Very welcoming people.
- Verified traveler (6/5): 2 night stay - Stayed for two nights and only used the Bella Rosa as a place to sleep. Didn't eat or drink there. Swimming pool was empty, but that could have been the time of year (March). Hot water in the room cold the first night. Have stayed in better, but at £17 per night wasn't expecting the Ritz (top London hotel)....
- Alex (8/5): budget, friendly place for night use only - I enjoyed being there, but the hotel was undergoing refurbishment at the time. It could be a little noicy during the day till around 5pm. It's fine if all you want to do is sleep there at night. The swimming pool is currently out of service probably for the next month or so. The area is nice, it's a great base for going on everyday ventures from.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Affordable Stay - Overall my stay was fine. I had a few minor issues, for instance, I was told the suite I booked and PAID for online was not to be rented and since it was more space than I needed (sleeps 5 but booked for 2) I can simply take a smaller room- with no discount/reimbursement of the difference. I was understanding and took the smaller room but felt that someone should have notified me before my arrival as the owner never intended to give me the room I paid for but rather repair it during the down season. My room had a hot plate and mini fridge with dishes and cookware which came in handy for saving money on restaurants. If travelling in the Winter know the heater didn't work, I had thin blankets and no warm/hot water until the last day of my stay.
- Kristos (2/5): - It was very poor I had no TV not kettle had one towle for the week
- Mark (6/5): Remote and relaxing - The room wasn't ready for well past the stated check in time so we waited a while. The air conditioning was broken although we were able to switch rooms. Otherwise worth the reasonable price
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It is a great place outside of pathos. A car is strongly recommended. The beach is in walking distance though.
- Douglas (8/5): Quiet hotel close to Coral Bay - A very quiet hotel close to Coral Bay, nicely located in the middle of banana plantation. Good value for money. Clean. Bed is awful and kinda small.
- ANDREAS (8/5): - good if you gonna stay for a few days. if you are traveling with children it can be challenging since there are no lifts and it has narrow staircases.
- Maria (2/5): No value for money! - A big disappointment ... no value for money as it is said ... terrible conditions as nothing was as we booked. No kitchen. No fridge. On the last day we had no water to finish our shower. Not a suitable place for families with small kids.
- Intrepid Travel (10/5): Family run hotel treats you as an individual - Stayed for 5 nights in June/July 2016. The hotel is in a quiet location and at first sight has a really inviting and homely impression. This is enhanced by the beautiful plants and flowers outside. Nothing was too much for Costas, the owner and manager. I had such a hectic schedule I didn't get a chance to use the swimming but I saw lots of other guests using it.
The lounge bar area is very relaxing after a hot day at the beach or touring. More often than not I ate my breakfast on the outside terace and here you will get a welcome breeze. The hotel was very flexible with me about breakfrast times as I kept over sleeping.
My room was large and came with air conditioning and a balcony facing the mountains. It was very peaceful.
Takes about 10-15 mns to walk down to the Coral Beach area where there are lots of tourist activities. I walked home late from the Coral Beach area on many a night as a woman and was totally safe.
- ricky (10/5): - A great warm family run hotel that made me feel very welcome 10 out of 10 walking distance to the beach & shops , get the bus from airport only 5€
- Martin (8/5): Great value for money ! - When was the last time you can say you got real value for money at a hotel? This was the most pleasant stay at a family run hotel in many many years. Tucked away in pretty countryside, yet only round the corner from the beach and all the amenities. Quiet, safe, clean, the owner was always cheerful and above all extremely helpful with his local knowledge of where to visit and which taverna to eat at in the evenings. He was a 24/7 tourists dream. Forget the big hotels with big prices and stay at the Bella Rosa for great value for money and meet the real people of Cyprus and their genuine Mediterranean hospitality.
- Verified traveler (8/5): almost perfect barring tv system - couple who are running hotel are very helpful.
