Guest Reviews
- Bruce (6/5): OK place to stay - Reasonable rate. Clean enough. Comfortable bed.
.Met expectations for the pri e. Too close to railway tracks. Heard 7 trains from 11pm to 6am. Pillows too soft.
- Matt (6/5): - It was in a good spot for the trains that I was in the area. Easy to get to and close to restaurants. Room had tv, refrigerator and microwave with 2 double beds No air conditioning, no way to move air around inside the room. No exhaust fan in bathroom to help remove steam from shower. Went to office 3 different times to no avail to get a roll of toilet paper. Rooms need a channel guide for TV. No alarm clock or room phone in room.
- Georgina (7/5): - We used this hotel few times to visit our daughter that study at Fredonia University, good price convenient for the price you get a good deal This stay it was not battery in the remot for the tv but lt a big deal
- JONATHAN (5/5): Inexpensive to other motels. - No breakfast.
Front door was not good. Did not seal properly.
No grab bars in tub.
No exhaust fan in bathroom. See above.
- Rebecca (10/5): - Theater Motel is my favorite kind of old-school motel--super friendly, clean, lots of character. The bed was super comfortable, the amenities were as described, and the owners were incredibly welcoming!
- cooke (7/5): - No breakfast Stink bugs. No extra towels.
- Linda (8/5): - Convenient location, friendly staff
- Deborah (9/5): Our 3rd time here. We will be back!! - A nice little spot for overnight stay during a long road trip. We keep coming back here because it’s clean, comfortable and excellent value. Not to mention the owner is super nice. Nothing fancy but who needs fancy on a road trip?!! The number of trains that go by seems to have increased since our last stay. The train whistle woke us up earlier than we wanted, but that’s part of the charm. If you’re a light sleeper, you might want to take that into account.
- Sina (9/5): - Ganz netter Empfang. Alles sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Bequeme Betten.
- Scott (9/5): -
- Edith (7/5): -
- Cindy (10/5): Nice Staff, Comfortable beds. - Kind staff. Very clean. Great value. Comfortable beds. Quite area. Looks a little sketchy, but looks are deceiving. This place was “old fashioned” but nice for an overnight or two. The owners let us check in early once the room was ready.
- Nicole (10/5): Great Value, would stay again. - VERY clean. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were spacious. Quiet area. The staff was very accommodating and kind. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t the best. When we first turned on the water it was brown until we let it run for a few minutes.
- Maldonado (10/5): - Everything NA
- James (10/5): -
- Sara (10/5): We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. - We were pleasantly surprised by the homey room at the motel. The beds were comfortable, everything was really clean, the shower was nice and there was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. We had a lot of stuff and were staying for just one night so pulling right up to the door was really great. The owner met us and gave us our key. He was so kind and accomodating. We were visiting SUNY Fredonia and will definitely stay at Theater Motel when we come back. All was great!
- Tammy (7/5): -
- Andrew (10/5): -
- David (9/5): The stay was exactly what I needed for the night. - The staff was very friendly and I was able to get some rest.
- Peter (9/5): -
- Bernard (10/5): -
- Jessica (10/5): - The staff was amazing and kind and so helpful. The room was cozy. There was a snow storm and I was stormstayed. They made everything so easy and they're helping me out after I forgot my headphones.
- Cynthia (9/5): - Quiet location
- Steven (8/5): Well maintained motel, and a good price. - Well maintained motel, and a good price.
- Felipe (6/5): - Quaint motel and clean. Clean room, but I woke up to a bunch of tiny ants in the bed and nightstand.
- Wendy (9/5): I will definitely be staying there again when I am in the area. - Not luxury accommodations, but great value if you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay for a few nights. The staff is very friendly and responsive to your needs. I had a Roku TV in my room, and the internet went in and out, so I sometimes did not have tv.
- Lynn (8/5): For my 2-night trip, all I needed was a place to sleep comfortably and it met that requirement. - Room and bath were exceptionally clean, the bed & pillows so, so comfortable, plenty of outlets to charge devices. Kleenex was not provided, no extra roll of bath tissue, doors are outside access and good use better locks, just a single packet of coffee, coffee pot could use a good soaking with baking soda & water.
- Ashley (10/5): -
- Ben (10/5): This hotel was spacious, clean, and the service was great. Don't pass it up! - Excellent Stay- very clean room! Staff was very friendly and you can really tell it is a family owned and operated hotel! Nothing! - it was a great stay!
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Dan (10/5): Excellent place to stay! If I'm ever coming through again will absolutely stay again! - Very clean room! Owner wasn't in when I got there but left a note with a phone number on the office door to call. He had hidden the room key outside the room for me.
- Kathleen (7/5): Met my needs for the one night stay - It was a no frills motel which I expected. Was only looking for a clean room and comfortable bed. The air conditioner was difficult to regulate and the bathroom was ok but could have used a few updates.
- Michele (7/5): perfect for a stopover during a long trip - room was clean, big enough for 2 and equipped as needed, bed was fine, pricewise definitely better than other hotels on the main Interstate just very few miles away Seasonally bugs from the trees nearby try to migrate into the rooms, specially in the automn. We had to kill a few before sleeping. It's the only inconvenience of places without plenty of concrete and tarmac around
- Christopher (8/5): Just what we needed, nice comfortable place to rest up to finish a long drive! - Clean, comfortable stay, Fit our needs perfectly on our travel home! can't think of anything.
- Bonnie (10/5): Good quality for fair price. - Remodeled rooms were very good quality. Staff is excellent Nothing.
- Williamson (5/5): - Did they have Wi-Fi
- Timothy (10/5): -
- chad (10/5): - Convenient cozy would love to stay longer
- Michele (8/5): - A great value stay for the price! Room was very clean and was easy to check into.
- Jessica (7/5): -
- Kenneth (8/5): We were there one night for a wedding. - Nostalgic 50-60’s experience. Well maintained and warm. Newer mattresses and comfortable. Newer bathroom fixtures and plenty of charging outlets. We did see and killed 2 bugs on arrival but nothing else.
- Leon (10/5): - Amazing Host. The Rest is what you would expect for this price, so great vallue.
- Molyneaux (10/5): -
- Molyneaux (10/5): - The staff n the morning coffee n having a hair dryer n ironing board. I really enjoyed the lit up gazebo. N chairs outside the rooms to enjoy the view. N they have an ice machine Yes. Very close fo stores n town . A plus. Very nice people. 😊 No complaints
- Ted (10/5): It was very nice, but I missed my dog🙃 - Clean & comfortable Couldn’t bring my dog
- Angel (8/5): It was exactly what we needed for the short stay -
- Renee (9/5): Would stay here again. Very clean and worth the cost. - Room was clean. The beds were comfortable. I would stay here again. I could here a train in the distance, but it did not bother us the 2 nights we stayed. It was a little bit dated but very clean.
- Stacey (9/5): -
- Dylan (8/5): A lot better than I expected for the price.e - I really liked the older aesthetic. I've spent a lot of time in hotels where they try to go for the modern "Sleek" look but it just comes out sloppy. Everything looked very well maintained and constructed. It was cold as a witch's tit in a brass bra and the AC unit was still in. The blankets were warm but getting out of bed to that was a bit uncomfortable.
- Jessica (9/5): -
- Acuff (10/5): -
- Brian (10/5): - Right near lake and lots of places to eat around area Everything was fine with stay
- Jessica (3/5): It definitely wasn’t worth the $89! - It wasn’t infested with bugs. The beds were rock hard. The sheets and pillow cases were stained. The blankets on the beds were rough and scratchy. The room had a space heater, the thermostat didn’t work. The water pressure in the shower was poor. The stopper in the tub didn’t work. There was a train right behind the motel that went by every couple of hours. The closest restaurant was 30 minutes away, no delivery!
- Jill (9/5): I would stay again. - Friendly staff. Very clean. Room was a little chilly
- James (7/5): - Good value; comfortable bed; clean room; refrigerator; convenient parking; new tv Outdated; overly scented (perhaps masking smells); windows could not be opened
- Pamela (9/5): Super friendly owners, a great stay for the price, clean and in a convenient location -
- Jonathan (8/5): - It was wonderful that there was a new mattress on the bed. It was extremely comfortable.
- Tomasz (9/5): -
- Grace (8/5): -
- Marilyn (10/5): The town was so charming and the motel was everything we needed - Very comfortable in a charming town. Nothing
- Kristen (8/5): - The staff are friendly and helpful. It is an older property and it is well maintained. Nothing fancy, but perfectly suited to what we needed for the weekend. We will stay here again while our kid is studying at Fredonia!
- Helen (8/5): -
- Frost (10/5): -
- Joshua (10/5): College parents weekend stay - Very friendly owner, clean and quiet room. The owner obviously takes pride in his motel. It has an interesting history that he shared with us. It was not a super fancy place. Just a nice, comfortable and affordable motel not too far from our daughter’s college.
- Wesolowski (9/5): -
- Kathleen (10/5): - The room was very clean and the bed was ok, just a bit firmer than I like. It was very quiet even though my room was next to the highway. Westfield is a really pretty town with several restaurants and a Welch's grape factory tour nearby. It's also fairly close to Lake Chautauqua & Jamestown
- Johan (8/5): - The people were nice and we had a good night's sleep.
- Marie (10/5): - They were very friendly
- Alexander (6/5): - The room was clean, however we had mosquitos and other bugs flying around in our room. We had a window AC unit, so I am assuming it wasn't sealed properly and that's how the bugs were getting in. Also, the AC unit was so loud that we were unable to get good sleep, but if you turned it off, then the room became very warm and muggy. We ended up getting up earlier than planned and left because we were unable to get any sleep
- Ashley (10/5): -
- Devon (8/5): - Cute, friendly, good value. Would come again!
- aitor (8/5): -
- Charles (10/5): - Motel was clean, owners very nice, would go again.
- Laura (8/5): -
- Branden (10/5): - Cute motel clean and friendly staffed
- Wayne (10/5): - Very clean and well cared for. Owners are super nice and friendly. Whenever we come to Westfield this is the only place we stay
- Ingrid (10/5): - The staff are super friendly and make you feel like a guest.
- Debs (10/5): - This room was spotless. The staff is friendly and the motel itself looks right out of a movie
- Janice (10/5): - Owners are very friendly. Property is very nice. Very relaxing stay.
- April (9/5): Super cute! - What it lacked in modern amenities, it made up with in charm! It’s like a rustic motel out of a movie. Check in was easy and the clerk was super friendly.
- Jaime (10/5): - Staff was wonderful and very kind! Thank you for the great stay. Very clean, quiet, and good area!
- Martha (4/5): Convenient location but poor ventilation motel with microwave and refrigerator. - It was nicely featured. The woman who greeted me was very friendly and her husband was very polite and kind. I didn’t care for the fact the room had been cleaned with awful smelling chemicals and the windows are all painted shut so the room smelled like paint when I opened the door. I aired out the room and the husband brought a floor fan to help ventilate and blow the chemical odor out. I looked back at my booking request through booking .com and I had even asked if the windows opened. The inquiry was not answered. They explained that they get a lot of snow and this is why the windows are painted shut. I doubt I would stay here because the smell of cleaning chemicals is a toxic turnoff. The location was convenient to the Cassadagaman triathlon
- Chris (10/5): - Fantastic
- Faiz (8/5): - Liked the staff. Room temperature control.
- Jim (8/5): - Old fashioned but clean and comfortable and a certain charm to it which we all enjoyed. A hotel from a bygone era that is clean and comfortable and did the job for us Nothing
- Verified traveler (8/5): Clean, friendly motel - Exactly as described, old school motel but super clean and manager was friendly and accommodating. The town of Westfield is nice with restaurant options, local coffee shop and diner. It was nice to be off the highway (but not too far, about 10minutes).
- Leo (10/5): - Very clean and affordable. Exceeded my expectations for cleanliness because in my experience, independently owned motels can be hit or miss on cleanliness and upkeep. Will definitely book again if I need a motel in this area during my travels.
- Victor (10/5): - Perfect, able to get a good night sleep and everything worked
- Wendy (6/5): - Chevk in was easy. Staff very friendly. Older rooms,
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very clean & comfortable.
- Rosalie (10/5): - Fantastic motel, the price was amazing staff very helpful
- Gerald (8/5): -
- Laurie (9/5): -
- Kim (9/5): - Our room was very clean and smelled amazing. The pavilion was nice to sit in.
- Aimee (10/5): - We were only there a few hours overnight as we were helping our child come back home after her internship at Chautauqua. Basically a safe place to stay and it was clean . Owner was very friendly when I met him . Would stay again if we ever go to upstate NY again .
- Bar (8/5): -
- Elizabeth (10/5): - The only thing that would help is a small shelf in the bathroom to sit things on
- Robin (6/5): - Very simple, very clean motel with all the basics. Reasonably priced for the location and the season. Quite dated. Location is convenient but not attractive.
- Michele (10/5): - Love this motel run and owned by the nicest family
- Pamela (10/5): - We really enjoy this theater motel!
