Angela (8/5): - I really enjoyed the Rome and the kitchenette area. Everything was very accessible and accommodating for someone who needed space to put things while traveling. There is no organization when it comes to the food line. And how people make their food and especially the Waffle stand is a mess. Because nobody knows who goes first.There should really be someone else.Doing that even children are trying to make their own waffles.It seems like a hazard. I've had the food there before years ago. And this time it was not very good. And really tasted, like A frozen meal. I felt like it took down the quality of the hotel and how wonderful everything else is.

Rebecca (8/5): Quick stay but it did its purpose. - Staff was friendly. Place was kept up. Room was ready when it said it would be. The hotel smelled clean when we walked in but when we walked into our room it smelled musty. A washcloth we used smelled extremely strong of cleaning detergent. The AC in the room worked but the thermostat wouldn’t stay set on the temperature we put it on.

737laurao (8/5): Spacious, Clean Stay with Great Perks—But a Few Fixable Issues - We had a great stay overall! The room was large and spotless, and the property was well-maintained. The staff was attentive and friendly, and I loved the thoughtful touches like complimentary makeup remover towelettes. The continental breakfast was very delicious with plenty of options. As a Hilton Honors Silver member, I really appreciated the complimentary bottled water and Milano cookies. There were a few hiccups, though. The digital lock on our door malfunctioned, and after much effort, both the staff and us gave up trying to fix it. This meant the staff had to let us back into our room after dinner, which was inconvenient. Also, the bathroom door squeaked REALLY loudly and could use some WD-40, and the bathroom exhaust fan wasn’t working. I mentioned these issues at checkout, but the staff member didn’t make any notes, so hopefully they get addressed soon. Overall, a clean, comfortable stay with great amenities—I’d definitely return once these small maintenance issues are resolved!

oscar (7/5): Our stay at the hotel was desapointing - Location and breakfast This time the front desk service wasn’t the same as always is, she gave a wrong room and finally asigned the room 333. In this room we found: The faucet vanity was broken, only heat water. The shower drain smelly. We were very desapointed because this hotel was our favorite place.

S1931FAmarkw (2/5): Lots of problems with door lock and management didn't seem to care. - Terrible stay at Homewood Suites in Katy, TX. Stayed in room #330 from 08/04/2025 to 08/13/2025 (9 nights). Checked in 08/04/2025, hotel looked recently refreshed – new carpet in hallways, fresh paint (in progress). Windows face Katy Mills Parkway, there is street noise at all hours every night. Morning of 08/05/2025 the room door would not lock. Took two trips to the front desk to get maintenance to show up. They said there was a problem with some doors since the refresh. Apparently, it happens so often that they had a jury-rig fix on hand -they inserted a thin metal bracket in place of the striker plate. The bracket bent easily and I had to bend it back into shape a couple of times during our stay. (Almost missed a medical appointment because we couldn’t leave the door unlocked.) Morning of 08/06/2025 returned to the room mid-morning and couldn’t unlock door – keycard didn’t work. Housekeeper tried her keycard, also didn’t work. Waited 15+ minutes for someone to arrive with a device to open the door. They couldn’t explain the problem so they decided the batteries needed to be changed. Took another 30-45 minutes for them to go get batteries and come back to change them. All this time I can’t leave because my door doesn’t work. Every evening for the remainder of our stay (7 nights 08/06-08/12/2025) the keycard would not open the door. Each evening I had to go down to the front desk to get someone to open the door or give me a new keycard. It did not get fixed during our stay. On 08/07/2025 the towel rack next to the vanity fell off the wall. It was installed with a wood screw into sheetrock, no backing, no anchor. Maintenace did fix it the same day, but it should not have happened. I normally use housekeeping on short stays, but as this stay was 9 nights I requested housekeeping refresh the room on 08/08/2025. When I returned late that evening ready to shower and go to bed, the door again did not work. Once in the room I discovered that housekeeping had collected all the used towels, but left no clean towels. Another tip down to the front desk for towels. Through all of these events, the hotel never offered to change rooms, never volunteered any discount. I also never heard from the hotel manager. In fact, I made several efforts to speak to the manager, both morning and evening, but they were never onsite. After three days I finally spoke to an assistant manager who said that he couldn’t do anything without speaking with the manager. When I checked out two days later the desk clerk was unaware of any adjustment to my bill. The assistant manager was there and said he could take one night off my bill and give rewards points. When I said I didn’t want the points and asked what else he could do, he again couldn’t do anything without speaking to the manager. I had to leave, so my bill was uncertain at that point. I got a phone call from the assistant manager while driving home, he offered the one-night discount and 10K points – take it or leave it. 10K points is about ¼ of the cost for a one-night stay. NEVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL.

SANDRA (10/5): - Very clean. During our time there, I saw the carpet washed twice. The staff was always on top of the cleanliness. Our room was cleaned every other day without fail. The rooms have a kitchen. The shower is amazing lot of water pressure. Breakfast is free they have several options, eggs, bacon, meats for tacos, waffles, fruit, cereal, There is coffee all day, which I loved. The pool is indoors. I really enjoy the stay at this hotel. This will be my stay hotel every time I visit Katy.

Miguel (4/5): Last time staying at a hilton hotel - Do not stay here unless you own a pet and have no where else to stay. The hotel smells like dog with some parts smelling like dog urine. Also the beds are the worst. The matresses are old and worn down, one of the beds was squeeky add the other was sunken on the sides. The receptionist was rude on the 1st night, but the girl with the blue hair and a young man we encountered the following day were both nice. On our 1st night the receptionist kept calling to threaten to kick us out just because we apparently nade some noise while were getting ready for bed. The bathtub would get backed up because the drain stopper was kind of flimsy so when we'd open it back up, it would make a lot of noise while the water drained. The Breakfast bar was ok, we didnt eat the food, just got some fruit to snack on. I tried using the blow dryer but it was all sticky with dog hair all over.

We have stay in this hotel before, but I have to say the last time was better than this time because the and the A/c of the room had a terrible noise, we didn’t sleep very well. I think it is due the room (118) is in the first floor where the traffic is high.

But there was construction going on in the building which began every morning at 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. . Hotel construction begin every morning Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. so there was no sleeping in because of the drilling and the noise of the construction.
