• Russell (5/5): Nice location. Poor service. - Good location Apartment not cleaned on arrival. Cleaner didn't finish till 6pm on arrival day
• Suzanne (6/5): - The apartment itself was great however we did not receive the services that were advertised eg: air conditioning, no tea or coffee and the washing machine was not working. The communication was not forthright in fixing the machine and I had to after day 4 ask 3 times for fresh towels. The website was incorrect about the air con and we had to leave the windows open for air which meant the noise outside was loud. When you pay a premium for accommodation and you’ve been travelling for 5 weeks you expect a better service.
• Lynnette (6/5): Which Cove ? And DO NOT follow the link! - I was told via app that 24 hours ahead we would receive an email with codes to get in. I received an email with directions that gave a link with google directions. Which we followed. It took us to another Cove Hotel! 30 min away after we had been traveling all night from the US. The Cove hotel said sorry and sent us on our way, without assistance. When we finally arrived, there was no email with information. I found a phone number in the Hotels app. And called. They sent a text “What’s App” without any notification. How am I suppose to know that app was going to be used!? We met another renter in the building and the same thing happened and they went to the same Cove location as well. Their keys were waiting at a third location! The location was great and space was comfortable.
• Richard (9/5): Brilliant location, spacious apartment and very comfortable - like home from home - Clean and spacious apartment, ideal for 4 people with 2 nice bathrooms Perfect location - shops, restaurants and entertainment within a 10 minute walk - Cafe Nero next door !! We didn’t cook but everything was there if you needed it including dishwasher and washing machine The only tiny downside was that some windows were overlooked by surrounding offices - but it was easy enough to pull the blinds down !

Could not have asked for a better location and it was perfect for a family of 5 to relax in comfort. And the facilities in the apartment were outstanding. The largest (main bedroom) has a very thin wall To the apartment next door and you can hear every word being said in the next door apartment. There was a party going on till about 4am and that meant we had almost no sleep. Also the floors were pretty dusty around the edges which set off my allergies. A bit of dust isn’t a big issue but this was bad enough to have me sneezing constantly

Lovely style of apartment Bed too small No long mirror - this has been highlighted on previous reviews but not addressed. Sofa uncomfortable Heating stuck on 26 and no way of adjusting. Again this has been highlighted on previous reviews and not addressed No air con and fan provided is useless Paint work needs touching up No body wash in shower. Just empty container. For the price of the accommodation this is not acceptable.

• Celeste (7/5): We really enjoyed it - just wish the bed was bigger. - The location, the nice building The double bed was too small. I have a big husband and I always look for king size beds. I took a chance with this one because of the location. Unfortunately the bed was quite small and I’m reconsidering my booking I made for September. The room is big enough. Why not change the double bed to a king? For me, it would be a deal breaker. I’m sure there are others who feel the same. It was also very noisy outside and we needed to sleep with earplugs - even in a Wednesday night. However, the owner does not control this, so we have to accept it.
• Susan (10/5): Spacious and stylish stay in the heart of Covent Garden. - Fabulous place - stylish, clean, spacious and in an amazing location. Our only gripe was the heating was on way too high and we couldn't work the touch screen thermostat so we had to open the windows, which seemed a bit wasteful. Other than that, couldn't fault it.

It was clean and stylish and very spacious which was beneficial a - The location is absolutely perfect, a couple of minutes walk to the tube station and everything in walking distance My toddler loved the open plan of the entire apartment especially as the rooms opened up to each other. Clean, modern and has everything you need. One of the bedrooms was at the front and so quite nosy as busy on a night but to be expected for the location. The other bedroom was at the back and really quiet.

Nothing o can think of apart from maybe a dish cloth or tea towel but these really aren’t essential.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - Unfortunately the heating appeared to be broken. It got very cold overnight, as low as 15 degrees in our room. We were travelling with a baby and it was too cold for them to sleep in the cot which meant we had to have him in the bed with us and co-sleeping carries safety risks for young babies so this was not ideal. Although the hosts eventually offered to send a security person to look at the heating, it was late evening by then, i was out with some friends, and my mum did not want a stranger coming into the apartment when she was alone with the baby at night time. Given it is winter time the hosts really should have made sure the heating was working properly before our check in time. Also, the door to the washing machine is half fallen off- it could be a safety risk to a baby if it fell off when they were crawling about. The plug in the ensuite sink does not work and overall the apartment is not well maintained. It is in need of a cosmetic refresh

• Helen (7/5): Good location, it was a good apartment but would not stay again due to above issues. - Location excellent, good size apartment, lovely bathrooms, lots of storage space. The bed was not comfortable as it had a dip in the middle of it. We could not turn the heating off at night - tried many times but it just kept resetting to 26 degrees which made it too hot to sleep, could not find any instructions regarding this. We had to open the windows and find a fan. Would have expected a smart tv so that we could have watched Netflix in the evening, only had terrestrial tv. Could not turn off the big light in the living room without turning most of the other lights off too.

We were late getting checked in as there was no key - also no explanation or notice that they wouldn't be ready on time. External door code was changed without notice so we were locked out of the building until I called and managed to get through to someone. Mould in sealant around bathroom sink, which itself wasn't clean from previous occupant. Decor is largely good but starting to look worn - broken fittings in bathroom and bedroom, as well as marks on the bedroom wall.

• Ragna (10/5): Wonderful place to enjoy! - Wonderful apartment in a great location, comfortable in every way with a really good feeling. Plenty of space and tasteful furniture. If anything could improve it could be if kitchen tissue rolls and body lotion were also provided. That's all we can think of!

I was told this may not be possible. I arrived a little early and it wasn’t but the cleaners knocked on my door for check out bang on the minute of check out. It seems a simple thing to accommodate.

• Deborah (6/5): - So, there is massive construction in the area. Like jack hammers all day until 7pm. The apartment was beautiful and very secure. The shower had issues, leaking all over the floor. They gave me two bath towels and one was dedicated to wiping up the shower mess. Had a laundry machine but i could not figure out the "dry" function so i used the rack in the closet. Was pretty hot in london the days i was there. Made the apt very warm. Only a winter comforter, no top sheet. So fan placed at the window all day, all windows open, trying to keep it cool in there. Probably not an issue any other time.

• Noriko (2/5): worst stay of my life - Good location, very spacious and can even be enough for 20-30 people to sing and dance. There is, however, no one on site to manage it and I learnt that this situation can cause big problems. Unluckily, in the unit next door a big birthday party (of 30 people?) was being held. Some were even shouting into the microphone. I called the office at 2am and a security team was to be dispatched. However they did not arrive after an hour so I called again but got an answering machine. This continued five times. Eventually, the call went through again and it was already 4am when the security team arrived. The reason I rate them this low is that they insist their action was “prompt” and don't see it as a problem. After all, all they offer is just space, not a “proper stay” — it’s totally up to your luck. 場所は便利で広く、2-30人が歌って踊ることもできるほどでした。それでいて管理する人が常駐していません。今回、これらの条件が大きな問題を引き起こすことを学びました。 運悪く、隣の部屋で盛大な誕生日パーティ(30人程度)が行われ、中にはマイクを使って叫び続ける人もいました。夜中の2時にオフィスに電話し、セキュリティチームを派遣してもらうことになりましたが、1時間経っても来ないので再度電話しました。しかし留守番電話の応答で、これが５回続きました。結局、再度電話が通じてセキュリティチームが到着したのは朝４時です。 私がここまで低い評価をするのは、彼らが今回の対応を『迅速だった』と主張し、問題があったと思っていないことです。 結局のところ、彼らはが提供しているのは場所だけであり、『まともな滞在』ができるかは運次第ということかと。

Right in the heart of Covent Garden and everything it has to offer. Bad smell from drain in bathroom. No long mirror for Mrs G. We were going to garden party at Buck. Palace and she really wanted to see how she looked.

• Erin (6/5): - This one BR apartment was well appointed, mostly clean and large. While we loved the location, the construction across the street was nonstop. The door frame to our apartment had mold and rot. There were mouse traps all over the building. And it lacked basic amenities like napkins and paper towel. Additionally, the bed was a double, not a kind as stated on Expedia.

The apartment was cold and we weren't able to turn the heating on. I think the property are working on resolving that issue.

Cleanliness could be better and neighbours can be loud - The bin in the en-suite had not been emptied from the previous guest and was full of used female sanitary products and clumps of hair. There were also clumps of hair on the floors around the apartment. The apartment is also very loud from other flats. The flat above us were partying until very late and you could hear everything as if they were in the room with us which kept my family awake until the early hours of the morning.

• Charlotte (8/5): Really lovely - Love the design and space. Location is great and everything was generally lovely. Would be great to have a few more helpful kitchen items like oil, salt and pepper etc and a list of cookware so if you’re planning ahead to host you know what equipment you have.

We were prepared for the construction noise from the reviews I read before our stay and it wasn't a problem. Little things like the lack of soap and toilet paper in the apartment, which we then had to buy, were unpleasant, but they could be solved. What was a really big and unsolvable problem for us was a live dark brown mouse that we discovered the next evening. We tried to catch or drive away from the apartment, but without success. Every night she crawled around the apartment and made noise. Well, it was disgusting. I am asking the apartment owner to eliminate it.

• Will (8/5): We loved our time in this chic, relaxing space and would happily stay here again. - The layout was great and worked perfectly for us. There was A TON of storage which was really helpful and appreciated. The location was excellent (minus the construction going on outside - but that can’t be helped). the design of the apartment was very nice. It needs a little bit of upkeep and TLC. Overall it was very nice but there was a broken coat rack threatening to fall over at any time, a couple areas of peeling paint, a couple broken bits here and there, etc. that stood out in an otherwise really nice and clean space. Also the lights in the cabinets above the TV in the main room never turn off: their switches are installed too far in and never make contact with the closed doors. The washer/dryer never got clothes especially dry (though that may have been user error on our part). But these are nitpicks. Overall we were extremely happy with the apartment and would gladly stay there again.
• Carol (3/5): Stressful entry experience - need safe code in advance, not having to phone round because no access - Nice apartment, good location Cove *really* need to sort out their unmanned check-in protocols. I did not receive an email with the safe codes as promised via email at all It was only after a 10-min phonecall with the Head Office line, who then suggested a different number to call, that I was given the codes. This, by the way, was on the day of entry. When I got to the property, there was another couple who hasn't been given the codes to the safe to access their keys, and even after I gave them the safe code, they found that their keys were not in the safe along with the others. I had to give them the number to call for help because there is no-one anywhere near the property to help. This lack of preparation and advanced information about entry codes at this unmanned apartment adds an unwelcome anxiety about how, and if, you can check in. I really would have expected a code the day before at the latest, and I shouldn't have had to phone around various numbers to get a code on the day of arrival, because getting on a flight & tubes in an unknown city is stressful enough. After online check-in the day before, there is a section in the Booking.com confirmation page which covers entry information, but the only information Cove have included is that "a code is required". Why not put the code in that section so your customers have it in advance? For this reason, I don't think I would book a Cove apartment again, which is a shame, because the apartment itself was quite nice. But the stress of sitting on a flight still not knowing the main door code & the key safe code isn't worth it.
