- Ronald (10/5): Super-Amazing Hosts, Amazing Property - Linda & Gord are the most outstanding hosts on the planet! You are right at home from the second you enter the front door! Beautiful & massive log home, tucked nicely away in the forest, but convenient to some amazing restaurants. Rooms were large & beautifully decorated and there were plenty of outdoor decks to lounge and relax and hear the birds singing. I don’t think you will find better anywhere. The breakfast was delicious also. For supper, we drove to a local restaurant and Linda called ahead to make sure we had a table. The hosts were amazing, yes, I repeat! We will be back. Amazing!

Driveway is a steep gravel single lane about 500m in length, FYI. My old Dodge mini-van had no trouble.

If you are a nature lover, you will fall in love with the gorgeous natural setting and the beautiful grounds. We stayed in the Blue Room, which was decorated as such, with gorgeous antiques throughout the room and a very comfortable bed. We had a very peaceful sleep and woke up to a great breakfast and shared great conversations with our hosts and their guests. We enjoyed our brief stay at this gem of place and hope to return in the future. Thank you, Linda and Gord, for such a wonderful stay.

We barbecued some steaks on the covered patio, rain and all, and just sat with our wine enjoying the countryside. Our room was delightful, with a very comfortable bed. Fresh fruit yogurt and apple french toast greeted us for breakfast. Don't miss this B&B on your travels.

Rain was expected so Gord helped my husband park our motorcycles out of the rain. They phoned to ensure we could get a spot at a local eatery for dinner. After a long day on the motorcycles we ended the day with a soak in the jacuzzi tub. And slept soundly in a very comfortable bed. Didn't even wake-up when the rain started! Breakfast was great; starting with fresh fruit followed by back bacon and eggs - all very filling and yummy.

We would love to come back and have a chance to enjoy some time in the 'great room'. Comfortable bedroom, great food & delightful host - we really couldn't have asked for more. - Michelle (10/5): Best Bed and Breakfast for me! - The pictures don't do this place justice. Beautiful grounds and a beautiful bed and breakfast! I had an amazing stay here and would completely recommend for anyone looking to be in the Bancroft area for the weekend. Friendly people and fantastic breakfast. Overall, lovely time and very accommodating. I will however, agree with Hotels.com and let you know that you should call them 24 hours in advance to alert them of your arrival as there seems to be a glitch in their alerts. Highly recommended!
- Suleyman (10/5): It is really a jewel - I always avoid from those names. They put the opposite name than actual. This place It is really a jewel. I booked it because I couldn't find any other hotels. It was for one night. I am not seriously thinking to go there at least 3 nights just to stay at that B&B. Owners Linda and Gord they are exceptional people. They do everything to make feel comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was amazing. Bed, towel whatever you may think were beyond of my expectations.
