Guest Reviews
- Concepción (5/5): - La habitación era muy bonita y grande, con muchas madera El ruido de los coches
- tsuyoshi (9/5): -
- Candida (4/5): Disappointing -
- Maya (10/5): Would do it again! - The rooms are very nice, they have a balcony and re very comfortable. The staff was very very nice, welcoming and helpful! There is a massage place and a scooter rental just a few houses down the road, laundry services around the corner and good restaurants close by.
- Sean (8/5): Great value! - Great value for the price. Spacious room with balcony and aircon. Comfortable bed. Shoes off inside made for a very clean experience, slippers provided. Just a short 10-15 min walk to the night market and old town. Staff is wonderful and extremely helpful. Allowed to store bags at the front desk on my last day with a late train departure. Decent breakfast included, satisfying. Bathroom was virtually bath only - no curtain or glass to prevent water splashing if you want to stand up. Some construction during the day on either side of the building, but during the evening/night, there was no construction noise
- Carol (5/5): Passable - In need of a good clean and / or renovation.
- Nikolai (8/5): Very good -
- Cigale (3/5): Unfortunately I have nothing good to say about this property - The room was fine but we couldn't stay there. The stuff was kind enough to let us leave after one night and cancele the rest of the booking. The place is a construction site these days. They are rebuilding the garden and the two buildings beside are in construction as well. The workers start to work from 7.30am so it's very noisy and dusty. I recommend to call them and check before booking. We moved after one night because is was unbearable.
The breakfast was very poor and not fresh.
- Simone (7/5): Practically located guesthouse for a rather short stay. - Location close to all important sightseeing places, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very spacious and better towards the back of the guesthouse. Breakfast basic but ok and 24h coffee, tea and water. Rooms towards the main street are not recommended as this main street is 24h really busy. There was an issue with the water sink releasing water that seemed to be known and could not be repaired the same day, AC device old. Fortunately, I got changed in another room the next day.
- Maria (8/5): Very good -
- Guruguitarman (5/5): Excellent friendly staff, lousy inexcusable Wi-Fi, construction noise from both sides of room, funky toilet, a/C Uni - Friendly staff Bad Wi-Fi, toilet sometimes flushed usually clogged, old A/C unit
- Ken (8/5): Very good - Nice old wooden building, staff helpful, free breakfast. Just one downside, the balcony is currently looking onto a building site which also was a little noisy
- Pradipa (7/5): Good - The staff is very nice and helps with everything The AC was so loud.
- Emily (6/5): Good value for money and comfortable bedrooms. However, would not recommend the breakfast. -
- Thapanapong (8/5): Bed is so comfortable - The location Lightning in bathroom is so dim
- Przemyslaw (8/5): Lovely place with lovely staff - Staff is amazing, really great people, clean, value for money, close to two most popular and busy bars They forgot to mention that in front of the balcony there is a construction work like 3 meteres in front of your face as they are setteling a new building. No nice view, less privacy and bit loud
- Mieko (10/5): I was so happy my days in this hotel. - The position of the hotel. A kind, conscientious receptionist. My room, perhaps the only type in the hotel?, was very good with a bathtub. And hot water all the time!
- Gerry (8/5): We would stay here again - Nice breakfast, great location and easy to walk to markets and bars and restaurants. An awesome area to stay in Laos. We could have easily stayed a few more days. Staff all very helpful with any questions and booking any tickets we needed.
- Gerry (8/5): Would stay again -
- Michel (8/5): - Only one night sray
- Maximilian (9/5): Superb - Friendly and helpful staff, large room and bed
- Almas (8/5): Very good -
- Kieran (9/5): Lovely hotel and very good value - Excellent location, comfortable spacious room, large bed, friendly and helpful staff Air con didn’t work but not really a problem as we had a fan
- Katherine (7/5): Solid budget hotel. Don’t pay for upgraded room. - Pretty quiet. Nice deck and ok bed. Solid budget option if not looking for a hostel or expensive hotel. Nice location. Paid extra in advance to have a kettle and bathtub. The room had neither and they just denied it. So just book a normal room instead of the upgrade.
- Thomas (5/5): Good location let down by noise - Good location and friendly, helpful staff. Fresh drinking water available. Large, warm shower. I think we were unlucky with our room. We were road side, incredibly loud room throughout the night. Smoke smell wafted into room from smokers using front terrace. Room was quite dirty with damp marks on the walls.
- Matt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ivan (8/5): Very good - Perfect location to explore Luang Prabang and great staff.
Big room but a bit old...
Good option in L.P, but more expensive than others for the value
- Angkana (7/5): Good -
- Prisana (10/5): Exceptional - Good location
Good serviced
- Dianne (8/5): Very good -
- Oleksii (8/5): Very good -
- Michal (9/5): Superb -
- Matt (10/5): Very comfortable hotel. Great value for money. -
- Anonymous (3/5): Poor -
- Simon (10/5): Great place to stay - Was great place to stay and staff went beyond what was expected
- J (4/5): - Sporadic towel service, shower cold (later fixed), wall hooks fell to the floor, room and bathroom dirty, WiFi down for 2 days, breakfast served in a different guesthouse a few doors down. A beautifully designed guesthouse being run into the ground. Disappointing
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room was clean, the bed was slightly hard, staff was helpful. Our room was noisy from the restaurant that was next door.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was convenient to the sights and restaurants. The staff was friendly. Their English was adequate. I would stay again if we ever get back to Luang Prabang.
