- Hill (8/5): - I like everything in Kaslo, but it's the people that make the Kaslo Hotel awesome, especially the Waypoint staff. Due to a previous guest not knowing how to close a window, the first night was a rough sleep with a rain storm. Kinda tent like.

- Karen (10/5): We had a lovely 3 day stay at The Kaslo Hotel. Exceeded our expectations! - The location of the Kaslo Hotel was well situated on the Main Street with a beautiful view of the lake. Our room was very spacious, well appointed with a veranda that overlooked Kootenay Lake. There is a very good restaurant on site as well. The staff (Frank) were very helpful and friendly. We would certainly recommend The Kaslo Hotel to others and hope to return ourselves sometime soon.

- Katalin (10/5): Beutiful heritage hotel - We had a lake view room for 2 nights and we very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel was recently renovated and it is beautiful and comfortable. The restaurant on site was also great. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Overall it was a lovely experience.

- Cathy (10/5): Loved it. - We had breakfast at the Crooked Fork it was very good. There is no breakfast in the hotel which is a shame. But the local restaurants benefit from this. The town is great to walk around. Sunflower Sisters Cafe is also excellent for baked goods the coffee is amazing plus they have savoury dishes it is a lovely town to walk around the townspeople are friendly No breakfast. no Netflix available. Tv was ok but to have either Netflix or Prime on the console would be better. Otherwise everything is great at this hotel.
- Carol (9/5): Lovely historic hotel, comfy modern rooms, good central location. - This historic hotel has been updated and the rooms are very comfortable, yet retain the historic vibe. The bathrooms are modernized, the bed linens are toasty warm and luxurious, and the location was quiet so I had a good night's sleep. I phoned the desk to ask for a blow dryer, and they quickly brought one up to the room. Good service! Staff isn't on the desk 24/7 so if you had questions after 9 pm, there was no one to help.

- Irene (6/5): - The pictures posted on both websites of the Expedia and Kaslo Hotel, show that the King Room with Lakeview is on the upper floor(s) with good view of the lake. When checked in, we were surprised to find out that our King room is located on the main (ground) floor instead of the upper 2nd or 3rd floors. It is the only one guest room adjacent to the restaurant kitchen, and the balcony (patio) of our room is facing directly to a large propane tank and the utility box. The lake view is at eye level instead of overlooking the lake. The guest room is separated by the exterior door that we didn't hear sounds from the kitchen. But quite often, we bumped into kitchen staff when we walked in/out of the guest room. There is another guest room next to us but is now being used as an office. The attached pictures should show the location of our guest room and the obstructed view which is different from the pictures advertised on the booking. As I paid for the full published price for the 2 nights, I didn't expect that we were given the most "neglected" room in this hotel. I had asked to speak to their manager to voice my concern but don't think my message is ever delivered to the manager. I had investigated this matter with Expedia and appreciated the efforts of their customer services to reach out to the hotel for my concern. Hope my honest reviews will bring attention to Kaslo Hotel to make changes in their booking for Expedia's customers.

- Garcia Guerra (8/5): Great place I would go back, I just wished the person checking us in was more helpful - Place was clean and the rooms very comfortable. The manager upon departure was great and helpful. On arrival we identify a mistake (either from Booking.com or from the Hotel and one of our rooms had only 1 bed. I ask the receptionist if we could change and the answer was a hard NO since we did the booking through booking.com. This was despite having available rooms. I had no other option than to pay for another room (and she was ready to cancel the one I already paid!). The Hotel has no breakfast option (only brunch) and when I asked for advice on where to get an early breakfast was very unhelpful :-( .
- Bart (10/5): First Time in Kaslo - First time in Kaslo. Front desk personnel was very helpful and the room was wonderful, clean, and quiet. Larger size hotel style fridge was also a welcome surprise. I hope to come back for a better look around the city and surroundings.

We were told by email that the hot tub was not in service and upon arrival we realized it was in service.Just one small disappointment
- Geneine (10/5): Beautiful hotel, mediocre rooms - Such a great location and beautiful hotel! The rooms however could use an upgrade to be at the same level of the rest of the hotel. The room was large and should have had a king size bed. Only one bedside table and lamp was very inconvenient and the pillows were in a word, garbage. I would definitely stay again and hope to see some room upgrades.

Our room and balcony were huge (lots of room for motorcycle gear), the beds were very comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean, and the front desk staff were fun to talk to. We started the next day with coffee and muffins from Theresa’s (just up the street) on our sunny balcony, soaking up the Kaslo views. I can’t wait to come back!
