Garrett (8/5): - The rooms were OK but needs improvement. The sockets in the rooms were wore out very loose. The plugs kept falling out. The handicap room didn’t have any handles by the toilet. And in bed close to the wall window in room 408. The bed is broken. Needs a new bed.

Stacy (6/5): But it was clean - I called three day before stay to see if I could change two rooms from king to double. Guy said of course no problem it’s done!! Got there and it WAS NOT.. one room smelled like carpet cleaner and dirt mixed together. Guy up front changed it to a double bed which we desperately needed. It took three trips to lobby to get fixed because phones by elevator did not work. Plus our rooms were booked together as a family and we were spread over two floors.. milk was soured, and some people do not like just flavored waffles. Rest of stay was good

Virginia (7/5): This location was easy to get to and has what you need for a quick stay, don’t expect to be very comfortable in the room - Like location, room was big and clean. I love the quality of hair products and lotion. The breakfast was very good. The building is older with dated fixtures. The air conditioner in the room would not stay on throughout the evening. At times it was comfortable then hot and uncomfortable.

The couch was ripped on the pillow and the linen was disheveled. I am not %100 sure the bed linen was changed.

Friendly service at check in/out. My only gripe would be the bed, it wasnt the most comfy, bit more firm than i like but overall 10/10!!

Dana (7/5): Overall it was fine. - Convenient location The a/c in the room worked well but I noticed the towels didn’t dry well between uses. Couch and bed felt a little damp, like there wasn’t enough ventilation in the room. The walls in the bathroom and sliding door to the bathroom need to be wiped down. You could see dirty fingerprints where people opened and closed the door. The door between the two rooms should be checked, you could see light from under the door to the other hotel room and hear voices that sounded like they were in your room. (Only when they came into their room) The molding/weather stripping on the bottom of the door was curved.

Debbie (8/5): Overall, it was a short but nice stay. Just can't believe they charged so much. - It was graduation weekend for the local college. The price was basically doubled the night before the graduation and went back down the day after the graduation. NOT a nice thing to do for out of town parents and family of the graduates.
HOLLY (8/5): - Check in was a breeze. It literally took 2 minutes. The room was stuffy upon entering but after we got the AC going the humidity was gone and it was comfortable. The musty smell dissipated as well. We enjoyed the pool. It was not crowded at all. It was also clean. The breakfast was good. Typical options of scrambled eggs, bacon, and country potatoes. They also had a waffle maker, fresh pastries, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs and cereal options. The staff was very friendly. Overall, we had a nice one night stay.

wayne995 (4/5): Dropped the ball - This letter was sent to the hotel manager and Hilton corporate. Good morning. For many years I and many of my fraternity brothers have been using your hotel for “Founders Day” for our fraternity. Every year there are multiple people that stay 1, 2 or 3 nights. The number of people varies each year. Historically we enjoy your hotel because of it’s convenience, comfort and reasonable pricing. This weekend, we hit a speed bump with regard to my stay. (Only 1 night - Saturday) We checked in after 3 and went to our meetings. Upon returning for the evening, I could not get the TV to work in room 415. I tried to call the front desk and the phone didn’t work. I called the 800 number to get the direct number to the hotel and the customer service person I spoke to asked me if I would like for him to text or email it to me so that I had it in my phone. I agreed. That text/email never came through. So I got dressed at about 10:30 PM and went downstairs with the remote for the TV. There were 2 people at the front desk, a woman who actually checked me in and a young man. I told them of the situation. Before asking any questions or examining the remote, he opened a pack of batteries and attempted to hand them to me so that I could fix the remote. I told him that the battery was not dead, because the light did come on and handed him the remote. He opened a drawer and gave me a different remote. At that time, the very nice woman, explained to me that there was no one on site that could help, and that sometimes the remotes don’t work right - sometimes you have to push off to get the TV to come on - and there was nothing that she could do about it. Regarding the phone not working in the room, I got the dumb blank stare. I’ve been traveling for years and am not accustomed to being blown off, especially by a Hilton property. I’m an Honors member as well as a Marriott Bonvoy member, which is right next door to this location. I don’t know what you can or will do about this - making it right. At the end of the day it’s not going to make me or break me, but on this trip, you lost me. Your hotel was clean, your staff was generally friendly, although not properly trained, and the bed was comfortable. It is obvious to me that maintenance at the hotel is not up to standard.
