- Salma (4/5): Don’t recommend and will not come back. - Friendly reception staff Smelly, dirty, stained hallways. Very uncomfortable sofa bed with very thin mattress. Breakfast was very limited with cold scrambled egg and very slow toaster. Location amid car showrooms that get so loud early morning. I asked for a crib, they handed it to me at the check in and made me carry it with my luggage to my room while there was no carts at the entrance.

As for the room, I liked that the bed was placed away from the door and was comfortable. But, as soon as I went to bed for the evening, I heard a recurring noise that sounded like an air compressor just below me. It ran ALL NIGHT LONG on for 15 seconds off for 30 seconds. I asked if someone was working in the room below, and was told "no." My room was on the 2nd fl. (Room 220) overlooking (of course) a small roof with a couple of vent stacks. I should have changed rooms, but it was too late in the evening.

The 3rd floor hallway was in a shockingly deteriorated condition, including very dirty/stained walls & carpets. It was a sharp contrast from the hotel lobby and guest room and very off putting. The breakfast was also disappointing. The food was less fresh and plentiful than the many other similar Hilton properties we stayed at.

- Jennifer (10/5): Second visit - Second visit to this hotel for a funeral…again. Very compassionate staff. Hotel is undergoing renovation so there are some minor inconveniences. Did not really affect us. Dog friendly was a plus. Breakfast is of very good quality and changed both days with plenty of options. Best coffee! Staff was wonderful. Grounds are being updated as well. Looks great so far. Only con was the very slippery pool tiles. Wrong tile for that area. Shower and restroom was a plus. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. Bed was sooo comfortable

- todd (6/5): - When we got there the front desk guy really wasn't feeling the job. Once we got to the room and we were amazed by the cleanliness and size. Only downfall to the room was the not so comfortable bed and limited drinking glasses. Other than that it was perfect. Down at a mediocre breakfast that staff was less pleasant too. Now it's time to check out and I was met with a smile and a happy person finally. I left my cell phone in the room and a nice gentleman retrieved it for me. I'd stay again, but ppl need to enjoy their jobs more.

- Nate (7/5): Room was fine and had what I needed. - I liked the full sized refrigerator/freezer. I was traveling with items that required a freezer and that definitely helped me out. The check in staff and he was the same on check out. Check in he was sitting down in the front lobby with a bunch of friends watching the Cavs game and was more interested in the game. “Sorry, it’s kind of a big game for us” is what he said. Then, as I was ready to check out, he was standing outside smoking a cigarette right by the doors. When he noticed me he came in and the smoke followed. Disgusting. The breakfast was a turn off to my appetite. The eggs were far over cooked in the microwave, things weren’t restocked, and the foods just looked sad and unappealing. I went elsewhere. Next time I’m in need of a full refrigerator, I’ll find another hotel that may have a better batting average.

- nicolec07 (6/5): DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT PEACE! - Arrived to find 3 birthday parties running concurrently in the dining area as well as the pool. The entire lobby floor, and floor between the pool/elevators and dining area was soaked. Totally unacceptable. The room above us had kids running and jumping around from 5pm-1am and then started back up again at 7am. Consequently, we barely slept. Also, we barely ate as those same guests hogged the breakfast buffet. Room itself was clean. Spoke both to Levi & the woman who checked us out the following morning. No offering of any relief. Will never stay here again.

- Nosked (10/5): Overall great - Hilton does not prompt for guests’ comments after every stay plus it’s overly complicated to find and submit the online feedback form. Common area is kept clean, despite the melting snow and salt that is trekked in 24x7. Every year, I stay here for several consecutive weeks. Staff is always helpful and responsive! Front desk - Anna, Mallory, Stephanie, Levi, and Sergio. Breakfast- Lisa, Melinda, Eric. Housekeeping- Patty, Yolanda. Managers- Cody, Colton. Operations- Kevin, Mike, Sammy. Too bad owner does not give authority to management to get repairs done. There are only 2 washers but 1 has been out of order for atleast 8 weeks. Now a dryer is out of order too.

- Ronald (10/5): - Hotel is in a very safe and quiet area, just a short distance from the freeway. For an extended stay, the spacious room features a full refrigerator, a cooktop, and a microwave. A grocery store, a nice restaurant, and several fast food options are within a half-mile. In my experience, this is by far the best option within the Lorain/Avon area.
- Jane (8/5): solid hotel, pet friendly - Solid hotel choice for the price, is also pet friendly and has free breakfast. Comfortable bed, good size for the king room. Shower needed a deep clean, but overall I recommend it for the price and location. Had dinner not far away at Fiesta Habaneros in Avon, great Mexican food.

- autigrgrad (2/5): BEWARE Unless You Like The Fire Alarm Going Off ALL Night and Day - BEWARE!!!! We checked in on Oct 25 about 2:30pm for our son's wedding. We were part of a wedding block. At 2:15am the fire alarm went off and we jumped out of bed. It then went off 4 more times over the next hour. It then started going off at 8am. It went off at least 10 times before I had to escape the noise. The manager told us that the owner of the hotel will NOT refund our money. I have spoken to Hilton and they will NOT refund our money either. This is horrible service from both the hotel and the chain.

- robert (2/5): - I heard staff members using profanity in kitchen area at breakfast, employee telling that she didn’t care about her job. Other employees sitting in dining area on cell phones every morning.Food on buffet was overcooked and coffee was lukewarm. Employee are more sociable with each other than with the guests. What a bunch of poorly trained people. This is not a guest first property.

- Jennifer HH (4/5): - I figured I'd pay a bit more for a hotel that (on the outside) looked a little nicer. That was a mistake. The room smelled like a smoking room and there was hair everywhere (packed in the drains and all over the floor). We ended up at a different hotel in Elyria (Holiday Inn Express) the next night and it was $100 /night cheaper and much, much nicer. Pass on this one, folks.

- JaimeMNash1977 (10/5): LOVE THIS PLACE & Appreciate the entire staff! - I actually loved my stay here. My only complaint would be that I had the room right by the front door on the first floor, so I could hear everyone in the morning. However, I get up early. The staff were so friendly and fun. I had a situation at work that had me leaving my home within 24 hours to take over our charity’s mobile hearing clinic indefinitely. I’m not used to driving that equipment, so I had a lot of anxiety that week. The staff and experience made it so much better. I ended up driving further to my events serving veterans at various VAs. The kitchen staff actually care about the breakfast! It’s real food and so good. I was able to do laundry in the early mornings. I had a full working kitchen. They brouth me towels each day. Workout and the Kenworth guys next door even helped me with some of my equipment. I seriously needed an easy experience. The front desk allowed me to provide our tax-free paperwork with ease….which is RARELY the case. Charity’s are hurting right now and they made my world so much easier. I’m actually now at a new hotel further down the state and it’s been polar opposite. The staff have been rude, demanding of 10000 different proof of our tax-free status and seemingly annoyed when I asked for quarters at the front desk. I also wanted to share that there was a discrepancy in my room rates. The Asst GM read my email and corrected it immediately. I am very thankful for this hotel during a very difficult time. My husband and I always comment about how awful eggs are at hotels and the free breakfast is trash. NOT HERE. Amazing food. THANK YOU. Eat their eggs! They are real!! :)

- Matthew (10/5): - The area had experienced severe weather. I was able to get a room so i had a place to sleep and shower while my nearby town had been severely damaged. They made me feel welcomed and it was quite comfortable.
- Cristina (6/5): - The kitchen floor tiles in our room we cracked and glued back with transparent glue of some sort that did not keep them in place And the floor was very sticky The day I checked out the piece of broken tile got stuck to my foot and cut me I advised the front desk and just said they would send someone to go check it out…. Very disappointed by their Lack of concern for my injury

- Mayank (8/5): - We called hotel staff around 3 pm and checked in successfully because expected arrival time was 11:30 pm but when we reached hotel we were told that systems are down so we are not sure what room was allotted to you and we had heart in our mouth as we were travelling with a 10 months baby, later after sometime they woke up manager and get our room arranged

- crisye2024 (10/5): The best vacation - I was very pleasantly surprised by the attitude of the manager, Sergiu. A top-notch person. He was always prompt and helpful, with a positive attitude and a smile on his face. This man made our vacation wonderful. Every hotel manager should be like this!
