pascal (3/5): Fausse bonne idée ! - Situation idéale au coeur du circuit rive droite des gorges du verdon A proximité du village mais suffisament éloigné afin d'éviter les bruits Design contemporain chaleureux La terrasse dominant la vallée et le village vue de la piscine. L'ambiance de la palud très jeune et sportif Il est vrai qu'il y a surtout autour des accueils de type auberge de jeunesse UCPA mais est-ce une raison pour négliger le client ? Accueil constamment et carrément désagréable. Axé notamment sur la vente des repas du soir, petit déjeuner. Lorsque je dis que je n'ai pas pu faire fonctionner la TV on me répond que personne ne regarde la TV et que les gens regardent "???" (Je n'ai pas compris quoi??) . La douche et le lavabo font partie intégrante de la chambre ce qui doit faire paraitre la chambre plus grande en terme de m2 mais peut être génant. Courant d'air par la fenêtre jour de grand vent il a fallu laisser le chauffage à fond. Le hammam n'est pas éclairé et semble peu propre. Le Jacuzzi est petit et a peu de buses. La piscine présente des traces sur les murs peu engageants et qui coulent dans le bassin. Bref un rapport qualité/prix/accueil très peu favorable. Essayez de trouver ailleurs++

Caroline (8/5): Ok Stay - The restaurant/bar was very nice and had a lovely sunset view. Tasty and creative drinks, and main areas were decorated for the season (pumpkins, fall drinks menu). Some of the staff weren't the friendliest, and it did feel a bit like we were putting them out by staying there. Our room's shower was see-through and in the main room (not behind a door or in a separate bathroom), so not ideal if traveling with family. The main area was much nicer than the room itself.

SHIMON (3/5): Disappointed, paid significantly more than it was worth - In booking the hotel is 13 km from Barcelonnette center, in reality we had to drive 75 km. The parking is a long distance from the room. It turned down that the room we booked was far down and we had to climb incredible number of stairs. Therefore we had to upgrade our room in order to avoid some of the stairs After 19:00 all the staff is gone, you are on your own. Breakfast was poor, we got a rotten apricot and a strange juice we did not like.

Axel (6/5): Haben uns nicht wohl gefühlt - Wirklich schöner Ausblick von der Restaurant-Terrasse allerdings gibt’s den nicht vom Zimmer die meisten Zimmer schauen auf einen ziemlich braunen Berg Das Personal war teilweise barsch und unfreundlich und null hilfsbereit/zuvorkommend((mit wenigen Ausnahmen. ) auch bei ganz normalen Fragen wird mit den Augen gerollt und man wird angebafft. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein für den Preis, der ausgerufen wird. Bei uns gab’s mehrere kaputte Möbel im Zimmer und Risse im Putz , die kaputten Möbel wurden auch auf Nachfrage nicht ausgetauscht wurden. Das Restaurant war lecker allerdings ein bisschen random am ersten Tag haben von vier bestellten Sachen nur zwei mal das bekommen was wir bestellt hatten die Preise sind gesalzen die Preise für den Wein eigentlich moderat. Beim auschecken wollten wir noch mal die Rechnung vom Abendessen sehen um zu sehen was wir eigentlich bezahlt haben, hat sie einfach nicht rausgerückt und uns wieder angebläkt dann sind wir gefahren Bad vibes - für ein Familienhotel sehr schade.

sartori (7/5): Situation agréable, hôtel à la deco soignée , mais indigne d’un 4 étoiles - Emplacement, décoration de l’établissement. Insonorisation inexistante dans les chambres. On entend tout d’une chambre à l’autre : Vibreur de téléphone, conversation, son de la télé, malgré des voisins raisonnablement discrets. Le bâtiment des chambres date sans doute des années 80 ; rénové , mais l’insonorisation très mal prise en charge. Qu’importe les raisons… de fait, ce n’est pas digne d’un hôtel 4 étoiles (la nuit est à 408€ ) Nous n’avons pas pu en parler avec la personne responsable ,très hermétique à notre remarque ,immédiatement sur la défensive et mettant ,au passage, en doute notre bonne foi, ce qui très désagréable, car rien de tout ceci n’est subjectif, il suffit d’aller dans écouter dans une chambre.

We appreciated the thoughtful touches in the room, like the coffee machine and the L'Occitane products. The hotel’s lobby, bar, and restaurant were all beautifully decorated, creating a stylish and inviting atmosphere. While the hotel was priced higher than other options in the area, we chose to book it with the expectation of a more distinctive and memorable experience. We enjoyed the pool area—it was a lovely space to relax. However, we did notice a few areas where there might be room for improvement. One of the umbrellas we tried to use was unfortunately broken, and some of the poolside chairs appeared a bit worn. Additionally, there was no permanent attendant present at the pool, but you were able to order drinks on WhatsApp. We were also a bit surprised by the price of a gin and tonic at €16. Our room and terrace were on the smaller side, and while we appreciated having outdoor space, the terrace didn’t have any shade, which made it difficult to enjoy during the sunny hours. There was also a hedge in front of terrace obstructing the view. The bed also seemed quite short, and my husband’s feet extended beyond the edge, which impacted his comfort. We understand that this is a family-run hotel, which often brings a warm and personal touch to the guest experience. However, during our stay, we didn’t quite feel that sense of personal connection from the staff. These may seem like small details, but given the price point, we had hoped for a slightly higher level of service and comfort. Including breakfast in the rate would have also added value to the overall experience.

Clare (10/5): Wonderful Spit - We stayed two nights to see the gorges. It was wonderful. The facility is lovely….well laid out….great hot tub/pool….and the view from our room was beautiful. The Gorges du Verdon is a gem…..be sure to drive the loop and then the long way round….stunning.
Rüdiger (7/5): Gute Lage für die Erkundung der Gorges du Verdon, mit kleinen Einschränkungen empfehlenswert - Schöne Lage etwas außerhalb La Paluds mit Blick auf den Ort. Obwohl ziemlich klein, waren die Zimmer mit dem erhöhten offenen Badbereich doch sehr gut organisiert. Schickes Restaurant mit gutem Essen und freundlichem Service, umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet. Insgesamt wirkt die Bauweise des Hotels doch sehr einfach, Preis-Leistungsverhältns nicht ganz stimmig. Das Obst/Avos zum Frühstück war zum großen Teil Auftauware.

Sophie (10/5): Delightful hotel & spa with breathtaking views and the most friendly staff - We loved every single thing from the second we arrived! We arrived in the early hours of the morning and the staff made it easy to access our room and gave us all the info we needed via WhatsApp. The staff were so friendly and attentive and nothing was too much for them. We arrived in the dark and so on the first morning we opened our curtains to epic mountains, blue sky and morning mist which was breathtaking. Our room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed - including a tea making station, Nespresso coffee machine, bottled water in the mini fridge, shampoo, shower gel and handwash. We also had a lovely afternoon having massages in the spa and then going on to use the steam room and sauna - both of which have amazing mountain views. The wifi was patchy and only worked intermittently throughout our stay.
