- GoodTimesTres (10/5): Dance Competition - Check in and out was easy, location was great and staff was friendly. Always try to use Wyndham Resorts for all our stays, they are always on the ball and centrally located to wherever we need to be.
- Jody (10/5): - I was traveling with my dog. There was ample space for my dog. I requested a ground floor room which the staff made sure was available for me and my dog.
- Stacy (6/5): - Star was fine other than i needed a computer with a printer and the one in my building was broken then went to the other building and that one was not working well either I never did get what i needed Definitely need to update the business center or remove it from the amenities
- Nathan (8/5): - Hotel was overall great. Staff was wonderful and very friendly. Did not try the breakfast as it didnt seem to have what i was craving at the time. Not a big deal to me. Room was great, my only complaint was the bed and pillows. Could not get comfortable at all. Mattress very very stiff and pillows were small and no support.
- Bonnie (4/5): - There's a very bright outdoor pole light that shines directly on the bed. I closed the blinds, but that didn't do any good. This made it very difficult to sleep. There should be better lighting in the bathroom instead of that one connected to the mirror. Ice machine was always empty when I needed it.
- John (6/5): - This is an older hotel. We had to remove about a dozen lady bugs from the room. The bed was "short-sheeted" so we couldn't pull the beading above our chests. The food served in the morning was rough. Showers were okay, but the bed was very hard.

One staff person who came over to second building to restock breakfast hot food was very friendly.

- RobynB786 (8/5): What you would expect in the Middle of MN - I traveled to Hutchinson for a dog sport event in town and didn't want to drive home late at night, so I reserved a room at AmericInn in Hutchinson. The front staff upon check in were very accommodating and thankfully let me know ahead of time that there was 4 boys hockey teams also staying at the hotel, in their second building, where I would be with my furry traveling companion. I appreciated their forwardness with that information and my expectations were delighted when the hallways quieted down by 11pm on a Friday with so many kids staying at the hotel. For a last minute stay, it was fine, the beds however were not super comfortable and I'm glad it was only for 1 night at the cost paid.

The room was very spacious and the soaking tub was a plus for just a 1 night getaway for me and my husband. If we ever come back though that area we will definitely be staying there again.

- F4981JCmichaels (10/5): Good place. - I have been at this place more than once. The last time was October 2020. Every time I have stayed here, it has been a pleasant experience. They had a humidity problem in the room I was in, so there was a dehumidifier going 24/7 in my room, but it was super quiet, and dry. The air conditioner was quiet too. The staff is friendly, the room was perfectly clean. Everything was the way it should be. Pricing was exceptional. Under $150!

- HotelLovinGirl (2/5): Dirty, Moldy, Damp, Expensive - I've always been a fan of AmericInn hotels however after our recent stay at the Hutchinson location, I can't say this is true anymore. This was by far the dirtiest hotel I have ever been too. So much so, that I went and purchased my own cleaning products at the local dollar general so I could spend what was supposed to be a night to relax, cleaning the room properly since the other hotel in town (super 8) was fully booked for the evening and we had nowhere else to stay. We were in town to honor my sister for making it to her one year of sobriety and needed a place to stay for the evening since we lived almost 1.5 hours away. I thought it was going to work out nice since my 5-year-old son has been wanting to stay at a hotel all summer long, specifically one with a jacuzzi in the room & this hotel just so happened to be able to accommodate to that. We booked the room with the excitement of finally being able to do this for him, only to be nothing but disappoint upon arrival. The hotel smelt of old cigarettes and mold. There were 4 dehumidifiers throughout the lobby and the hallways, 3 out of the 4 were all full, needing to be dumped. Upon opening our hotel room door, we were blasted with a draft of what smelt like old vomit. I immediately got online to make reservations at the hotel up the road, only to find out they were fully booked for the evening. I had then gone down to the front desk to ask someone to come clean the room again, however there was nobody present to discuss this with. I finally said screw it, went to go meet my sister for dinner and her AA meeting where she was blessed with her 1 Year Chip (YAAAAY! so proud of her) On the way back, I stopped and purchased some cleaning products from the dollar general so that I could clean the room myself. I cleaned it top to bottom and could still smell this nasty musty puke smell. I got online and started doing some research and someone mentioned something about the jets in the Jacuzzi that was in the room. I watched the video on how to take off the cover and sure enough found what nobody ever wants to find when they pay $184.90 for a hotel room. Obviously, I was upset. Not only did this place cost a butt ton of money, but we had a toddler with us so leaving that late was out of the question & there wasn't another hotel to stay in... we were practically stuck there for the evening. The next morning at check out, I addressed this with the front desk where she apologized and said she would give me 25% the room. I thanked her, took the receipt which I didn't look over until arriving home. It was then when I noticed that she didn't give me the 25% off. I called the hotel to address this with them and was told that due to it being someone else who did it, there was nothing they could do and I would have to contact corporate. This whole ordeal was by far just a nightmare. We don't get to do much due to money being tight these days and so for our one summer trip to consist of nothing but a smelly, expensive, dirty hotel room, you can imagine I wasn't too happy. I still am not. If I can give anyone advice about this place, I would suggest driving past it. The customer service isn't the greatest and it by far was the dirtiest place I've stayed in. So dirty, that when I took a break from cleaning, I sat in my truck because I refused to sit on the couch in the room. I truly hope this place takes this as a wakeup call to maybe get their staff in line and realize that the lack of cleaning is what's going to drive customers away. Not to mention how disgusting it is, especially after the pandemic our country just encountered. I'm truly disappointed that this happened at an AmericInn hotel.... Not sure if this is how the place is being ran now, but it may have just lost a loyal customer.

- Odyssey30290271993 (4/5): Below satisfactory room conditions and unhelpful, bordering on rude, customer service. - Upon arrival our hotel room was fairly outdated, humid, and had a smell of both mold and tobacco. There was a small dehumidifier operating in the room, but it was way too small to keep up. When checking out, I noticed that our final bill cost seemed a bit high. When I asked the desk clerk about the reason, she said we got the hotel room that was requested online. I replied that we expected a discount because we were part of the wedding group for the overnight stay and thought that it came with a discounted rate. Her reply had a hint of condescension when she said that it wasn’t booked that way, so we weren’t getting the wedding group rate discount. For the premium price of the room, we received far less then we expected, and additionally was treated disrespectfully by the desk clerk when checking out. We are not planning on returning, and not recommending this hotel to anyone.

Room condition - Blow dryer did not work, tried resetting outlet, didn't work, tried to call front desk only to find our phone didn't work either. Had to drive to other building where front desk is located, with wet hair, to report issues. Property - signs say no children in pool area from 10 p.m. till midnight, and no glass in pool area. Staff does not uphold the property rules. 10:30 at night, children are screaming and jumping into pool, hot tub was completely full of people and MANY glass bottles of booze. This is not a property I will recommend.

Location was perfect… just down the road from wedding reception. Breakfast was meh…Would have been helpful to know there was no elevator. No reflection on the staff… they were great.

- jaa433 (10/5): Perfect no frills hotel at a value - We reserved our room by calling the front desk. They offered a very competitive rate (cheaper than Priceline). The staff was friendly and check in was easy. They were very accommodating to my dog. Rooms were exceptionally clean and house keeping was punctual and thorough. This is not a luxury hotel. It’s a little older and could stand a refresh, but I have 0 complaints about the room or service.

Good, hot breakfast, and snacks some afternoons. Staff are helpful and responsive to needs. Nicely decorated lobby with coffee and tea throughout the day and evening.

- crz4ac (8/5): Quiet Stay outside of Hutchison - Hotel front desk staff are wonderful to work with! WE come here every year for the Orange Spectacular tractor show. Rooms are basic, mostly clean, top of bed frames were very dusty, room musty smelling. Easy to overcome with a plug in air freshner, which we bought after the first nights stay. Breakfast is adequate, much what is expected for hotel fare. Beds are relatively comfortable, need to have bigger pillows, they don't seem to be standard size, took more than one pillow to be comfortable. Showers are hot, blow dryer is extremely dirty, lint, fuzz and the like on the air intake, but we don't use those anyway. Overall, this is a basic hotel with an amazing front desk staff and wonderful heated pool.
