• Silvia (9/5): Excellence - We had a truly wonderful stay at Bodega El Moral. The hotel is located in a beautiful and peaceful countryside setting, perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind. The facilities are excellent, the rooms are very comfortable, the beds are great, and the air conditioning works perfectly. One of the highlights is the stunning garden with its very large swimming pool — an ideal place to enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. The staff, led by Manuel, are extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel at home from the very first moment. The food in the restaurant is outstanding and of excellent quality. We also really appreciated how dog-friendly the hotel is, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Bodega El Moral to anyone looking for peace, comfort, and quality. We will definitely come back, and next time we will stay for a few extra days! Everything was fine

No corresponde a un hotel de 4 estrellas por escasez de personal para atender a las necesidades de los clientes. Se nota sobre todo en las cenas que se hacen eternas.

Het ontbijt was erg summier, voor kaas en 2de kop thee of koffie moest je extra betalen. Deze lokatie en ontbijt is zeker geen 4 sterren waard.
• TRINIDAD (8/5): Encantadora - El entorno rural y el encanto de estar en una bodega Todo estuvo muy bien, pero se podría mejorar el tener un hervidor de agua en la habitación, en mi caso por ir con un bebe se agradece mucho pero también está bien para tomar té. Y en los baños que los vasos para los cepillos de dientes fuesen de vidrio en lugar de plástico. Por lo demás fantástico.

Inés y Ana muy amables, nos atendieron con mucho gusto y haciéndonos sentir como en familia. El desayuno correcto y la cena, a la carta, exquisita, bien regada con vinos de la propiedad. El camino de acceso ha sufrido con las recientes lluvias, pero pudimos acceder incluso yendo en moto. En definitiva, todo muy bien. Estaba todo bien

• Jessica (2/5): Hier ist man nicht willkommen! - Die Hunde waren freundlich Das Personal war extrem unhöflich und unfreundlich. Insbesondere der Kellner oder Mann für alles. Wenn man keine Gäste haben möchte, insbesondere internationale, dann sollte man den Hotelbetrieb lieber einstellen. Vier Sterne für dieses Hotel sind ein Witz. Es sind eher zwei Sterne. Wir haben uns noch nirgendwo so unwohl gefühlt.

• Paul (3/5): Disappointing and not quite right - The location is beautiful and the building authentic. Very dog friendly. Dinner was good served by a nice and attentive waiter. This has so much potential but sadly it is not quite right. The travel up the dirt road is not a problem, in fact this is what should help the property be tranquil. However, the loud and inappropriate music being played throughout the interior courtyard spoilt the tranquillity completely. Oasis and Ed Sheeran (and others similar on a play list) started at about 4pm and went on throughout the whole evening, and clearly audible in our room. So the authenticity of being in a traditional Spanish property was destroyed, we could have been in a chain hotel anywhere. I asked the waiter to turn it down, which he did for 10 minutes before turning it up again. (He might have thought that we no longer wanted to sleep, but in fact we could not sleep because of the noise!) I messaged the owner, who responded but did nothing about it. We were not able to sleep in the afternoon because of this. I understand that music is a personal taste issue, but the selection, plus the volume did not fit in with the property. Dinner was lovely, lots of choice, well prepared and good value for money. Breakfast was not 4 star at all, coffee juice, a toasted roll and a croissant, unappetising and no selection. This should be exactly the sort of property we like, but sadly we will not be staying again. Very disappointed.

• Ramon (8/5): Perfecto para desconectar - Utilizamos este hotel como parada en un viaje largo, por lo que no pudimos disfrutar de todas sus instalaciones. Sin embargo, destacar la amabilidad y predisposición del personal, que hizo que todo fuera muy fácil y agradable. Es un lugar muy tranquilo, ideal para desconectar del mundo, y el desayuno fue muy agradable. Como punto a mejorar, el baño necesita una actualización.

Great large bed for a good nights sleep. - Pool and Gardens were great as we had our two dogs with us and they were made very welcome by people and their dogs. Food could have been better but was OK and the wine was very good. Nothing was a dislike.

No funcionaba la televisión y no se pudo resolver, pero la WiFi iba muy bien con la tablet. Algún desperfecto de la habitación.

Tenía fallos técnicos las habitaciones, duchas, cornisas.... La comida fue correcta pero uno de los platos estaba frío porque se olvidaron de prepararlo y lo trajeron con prisas. El desayuno no es bufet y fue escueto, tenías que pedir mas zumo, mas leche, mas cafe porque lo que te daban era poco. Y solo un bollo de pan tostado y un croissant. Tiene que mejorar para volver a ser de verdad un hotel de 4 estrellas.

Not necessarily to everyone's taste if expecting modern facilities but we found it a wonderful experience. Rooms traditionally Spanish but more than adequate and clean. Wonderful courtyard, patio, swimming pool and grounds. Food excellent, traditional and locally sourced. Not much English spoken but menu with translation. Will certainly return.

Es sollte die Bewertung „Hervorragend +++“ erhalten. Super Essen und köstlicher Wein aus eigener Herstellung. Der Köchin gilt ein besonderer Dank. Auch das gesamte Team hat jeden Wunsch erfüllt. • Eileen (8/5): Relaxing peaceful place, welcomed me and my 2 dogs - A little off the beaten track but worth it. It's in the middle of the vineyard and lovely and peaceful. The pool was a welcome relief being 37 but plenty of trees around the pool for shade. My 2 dogs enjoyed it. Room very comfortable and ample space, extremely large bathroom but I had been put in the disabled room. Can't comment on breakfast, I slept in 😀 but dinner was fine. The staff were excellent, they helped taking my luggage in and then back to the car the next morning. They put my medication in their fridge getting it as and when. Nothing was too much trouble and done with a smile. There was a fridge in the room but you couldn't call it cold. When I queried this I was told all the same. As I have medication which needs to be kept in a fridge this was a problem but quickly sorted by the staff.

The air conditioning in room 3 wasn't working and it was an extremely hot day leading to uncomfortable night with little sleep. But still a great stay.

• Margot (10/5): A lovely place to relax - The bodega is a very relaxed setting. The rooms are off a central courtyard and your supper table is placed just outside. (There is an indoor space for bad weather). The rooms are huge - our cats got plenty of exercise chasing their ping-pong ball. There are grounds to stroll in and a swimming pool. There are plenty of choices for the evening meal and, of course, their own wine. No extra charges for pets. The dusty access road is a bit of a challenge with cats that yawp at every bump.

• Peter (8/5): We have visited this hotel before and would still recommend it. - The property was clean and inviting. Staff were welcoming and very efficient. Facilities were very good with places to retire in the shade and a swimming pool with sun beds in a lovely setting. The evening meal and breakfast were both served in the courtyard which added to the experience. We returned one of our meals as it was barely luke warm. It could be said that this is traditional for the area but we expected food to be hotter. Some might also not like the drive of around 3-4 kms on unmade road but overall, the drive was worth it.

Yes it is rural, the nearest town is about 20 min drive, but it's hard to leave the tranquility of the countryside, the beautiful pool and the lovely surroundings and courtyard. A place we would highly recommend, especially if you wanted some time out away from the madness of everyday life. Switch off and relax. Beautiful food, wine and looked after by lovely staff.

Bad access road, at least 1 mile of dirt track with large depressions unsuitable for any cars laden or with low clearance. One meal was inedible with tough chewy lamb that was supposed to be chops but really was a cut thru the leg . The electrics failed in the bathroom during a shower suggesting poor quality electrics. The breakfast was poor consisting of a bread roll and jam.

• Knifski (10/5): Quiet comfortable stay at the heart of a working vinyard. - The staff gave very clear instructions how to find the hotel, and it was easy to find. We had a good sized comfortable room with a large bed. The restaurant had a good choice of dishes, and we ate al fresco in the courtyard, enjoying their own wine. The hotel is at the end of a long unpaved road and is in a very quiet location, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.

While some may be put off by the mile-long unmade road, the destination more than justifies the minor discomfort and care required to get there.

• Rod (10/5): An oasis of calm. Do not hesitate, just go ahead and book it. You won't be disappointed. - The location, the staff, the room, the restaurant and the food the were all fabulous. The Bodega is surrounded by fields of olives and grapes as far as the eye can see. The check-in staff were friendly and very helpful. The room and ensuite were both spacious and spotlessly clean with all the facilities that one would expect. Our dinner and breakfast exceeded all expectations and were cooked to perfection. So glad that we stayed here instead of a miserable corporate hotel. Can highly recommend the Hotel Bodega el Moral. Everything was excellent !
