• Edward (9/5): Spacious clean well maintained room close to the centre of Nuwara Eliya. - Big room, very clean. Everything worked. A 5 minute walk to the Grand Hotel. There is a good food court in the nearby Aliya Green hotel (?) on the corner of the Main Street by the roundabout. A short distance from the main drag, but very dark. Bring a torch.

• Yassus (9/5): A Little Gem in Nuwara Eliya Sri - Easy enough to get to but ealier signage from Grand Hotel Road would be more helpful. Nice free safe parking. Host Lalendra was welcoming and was at our beck and call with a smile. The first view was very pleasing with a beautiful lawn with flower borders and a Tudorish facade of the main building. The room 3 was large with all comforts - big double bed. Hot water on tap anytime made it feel like ome. Fully equipped wash room had really soft clean towels changed every 2nd day. Room lighting was conducive fir work and sleep. Plenty of tea and coffee was mush appreciated. English breakfast was on time every day but as vegetarians choice was minimal. Being very close to the Gregory lake we had the opportunity in the evening ( before 5.30pm) to do a first time boat ride which was the high light after a tiresome business day. We thought Villa Cassandra and Lalendra is a little Gem fully worth the money. Highly recommend. Thank you Lalendra👍👍👍 Nothing.

• Nuria (9/5): Muy recomendable y cómodo con un desayuno de 10 - Las habitaciones son enormes, limpias, cama comodísima y buena ubicación (unos 15 minutos andando al centro). El dueño es encantador, nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos y nos hizo el mejor desayuno que comimos en Sri Lanka. Además como es una zona en la que hace más frío hay un calefactor que caldea muy bien la habitación. Los ventanales estaban un poco más sucios (eran muy altos y grandes), les hace falta una limpieza.

• Leanne (10/5): A small town with a lot of charm, we chose the right location and great accommodation. - We were very fortunate to have the whole place to ourselves with no other guests whilst we were there, the young man who let us in and provided our breakfast daily was a lovely youngman who treated us with smile everytime we got in. the location was great and we could walk to most places, we were located just near the Grand Hotel and spent a lovely afternoon there with a High tea that did not disapoint. Would definatly stay here again. Nothing we enjoyed our stay !

• Darryn (1/5): Bad - The pictures on booking.com Hotel accpeted our booking 2 months prior, sent automated regular messages about check in and arrival but when we arrived the hotel was closed with no sign of life. We tried calling both numbers, including our taxi driver trying to reach them but no answer to any calls. After 7 weeks of travelling in South East Asia with all our accommodation booked through booking.com and absolutely no issues this was disappointing and frustrating as we then had to find somewhere new to stay late in the day after a long train trip, in the pouring rain with our luggage. Wouldn't recommend this hotel.

• Sally (10/5): stay here for a great location and fabulous accommodation - The villa was in a great location - walking distance to town and grand hotel and a convenience shop at hotel 5 minutes away. Our room and bed were huge and clean and quiet and had a lot of storage. it had a kettle and heater and tv and we were given water everyday… the hot shower was wonderful. our host was helpful with everything . we love our stay here and recommend it the curtains were not block out but it was still dark enough to sleep

Location was perfect for someone who wants to stay near the town but also look for a peaceful environment (Scenic views are somewhat limited). All the required amenities were available and working as expected. Bed, sheets and the duvet were warm and comfortable Some of the wall sockets were not working as expected. Shampoo & Conditioner bottles were empty.

Very quiet. Only accept cash payment. Not a massive issue but you need to forward plan as you can only withdraw 100-150000lk from an ATM in Sri Lanka each day.

The bathroom was great. Breakfast was lovely. And we had a fabulous dinner at the Grand Hotel Indian around the corner. It was all we could have asked for one night. Highly recommend.
