• Francisco (9/5): Welcome to San Sebastián at Welcome Gros. Two great nights at Welcome Gros, enchanting beach city. - A GREAT VALUE for the location. The room was a bit small but not uncomfortable. Amaia, front desk staff was very welcoming and was easy yo contact and communicate with via WhatsApp text. She tended to our questions and concerns promptly in a very friendly and professional manner. Her recommendations and instructions were highly helpful. Through no fault of Welcome Gros, there was ongoing construction which made the interior a bit noisy at times, but not always.

• Amalia (8/5): Molt ben situat i perfecte per a passar un cap de setmana - Molt ben situat, a 5 minuts caminant del Kursaal. El llit era gran i molt còmode. El bany tenia banyera i no em resulta pràctic ja que relliscava. El bany perque tenia banyera que a més, relliscava. La llimpiesa no era perfecte (el bany no estava net al 100%). El soroll del tren també es sentia i molesta per a dormir.

• Dietmar (7/5): Für Kurzaufenthalt jederzeit wieder. - Gute Lage, nicht weit weg vom Busbahnhof. Einchecken und Übergabe des Zugang Codes hat super funktioniert. Zimmer war sauber. Zimmer war sehr klein. Ich hatte kaum Möglichkeiten mein Gepäck abzustellen. Es war ein Doppelzimmer aber zu zweit für mehrere Nächte zu klein. Für zwei Nächte allen okay.

I would recommend to anyone who plans to do a short term stay while in San Sebastián. No negative comments. The only thing if sleeping with the window open you can hear the trains at night.

Lo staff è stato molto preciso nell’inviare modalità di accesso ( nel pomeriggio non c’è reception e l’accesso alla struttura è con codice) e nell’assicurarsi che tutto fosse chiaro. Ottima la posizione vicina al centro.Non prevista colazione ma a disposizione degli ospiti ci sono l’uso gratuito di macchinette distributrici di caffè ed altre bevande e biscotti. Il nostro soggiorno sarebbe stato perfetto se , appena arrivati in città non avessimo dovuto cercare un parcheggio , finendo per pagare un prezzo esorbitante. Potrebbe essere utile supportare maggiormente gli ospiti in questo ( convenzionarsi con parcheggi a tariffe agevolate, per esempio, o inviare in precedenza mappe per raggiungere i parcheggi più vicini o più economici, etc)

• JOAQUIN (10/5): - We paid 65 euros for a night. 2 beds together with a topper to avoid the annoying joint of both mattresses. Comfy bed, private clean bathroom. Free coffee, easy to use space for leaving our stuff after check out. 200 meters from the train/bus station. 200 meters from the old town. Smiling staff. Nothing to complain about. Great option. What else do you need?

• Robson (8/5): Hotel bem localizado em San Sebastian. - A localização do hotel é ótima, às instalações são boas e os funcionários são gentis e eficientes. Há uma máquina de café e madalenas na recepção, o que é bem útil. Recomendo! O isolamento dos quartos não é bom, escutando-se barulhos dos vizinhos.

• Cecilia (8/5): Recomiendo - Me gustó la ubicación, hicimos todo a pie. Además el hotel cuenta con máquina de café gratis a toda hora y magdalenas. La habitación era linda y prolija. Quizás el duchero es un poco pequeño y por lo tanto algo incómodo. Y el secador de pelo es muy malo.
• Anne (10/5): Our stay was a stopover on a longer journey. We would be happy to return for a longer stay. - Check in was very convenient as we arrived very late and were able to check in very late. Arriving so late we really appreciated the hot drinks and buns that were provided in the foyer. The room was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We asked for a taxi to be booked as we had to leave early the following morning. The taxi was booked and arrived on time to pick us up. Communication with the hotel before our stay was very clear and straightforward. I have no complaints about the hotel.

• O'Connor (9/5): Excellent, I'd recommend this hotel to family and friends. - Yes, the location was very central. Other than that the room was great, central location. I had to phone the number provided. It was answered immediately. The reception staff was very very helpful, and the coffee/tea maker was a nice addition. The security light if that could be dimmed a bit further. If you sleep in a completely dark room usually then bring an eye mask. Small thing. I appreciate it is for safety.

• Fabienne (8/5): Un bon moment ! - L'hôtel dispose d'équipements sanitaires modernes et fonctionnels. Le matelas était très confortable. La chambre présentait des dimensions idéales, ni trop petite ni trop grande. Vue sur cour mais la cour était d'un calme très appréciable. Les équipements mis à disposition (sèche-cheveux, penderie) étaient pratiques. Tout était très propre. Le fait de pouvoir bénéficier d'un café n'importe quand était appréciable. La localisation dans le quartier de Gros permettait de découvrir un autre aspect de la ville que le centre historique. Très jolies peintures aux murs. Nombreux commerces à proximité. Je n'ai pas aimé entrer dans l'hôtel et dans ma chambre avec un code sans parler à personne, qu'il n'y ait plus de permanence à la réception après 14h. J'aurais aussi aimé pouvoir prendre mon petit-déjeuner dans une salle dédiée afin de rencontrer d'autres voyageurs. J'ai eu le sentiment que les gérants voulaient des clients discrets et autonomes qui les sollicitent a minima et trouvent sur Google toutes les réponses à leurs questions, ce qui n'est pas ma façon de voyager.

• Lamata (10/5): Una estancia genial - Me gustó todo, la habitación estaba bien , limpia , con nevera , televisión grande y cama grande. Había ascensor y es accesible para minusválidos. Y sobretodo nos gustó que en la entrada había una máquina de café gratis, que también hacía tés y chocolate (o mas una especie de ColaCao) y sorprendentemente estaba bueno (cosa que en otro hoteles no es así), y también había una pequeña cesta con magdalenas gratis que quieras o no lo vi un puntazo. El cheking fácil de hacer y va con contraseña ósea que genial porque así no tienes que estar liado siempre con la tarjeta. Cerca de la playa y del centro a unos 10 minutos andando o poco más. La verdad que volvería a repetir sin duda alguna

Muy buen ambiente, habitaciones limpias, personal encantador y muy resolutivo. Ubicación muy buena si se va al Kursaal o de visita a la ciudad porque está muy cerca del centro.
