- Jodie (5/5): Ok. - Clean. Good location for the event we attended. Staff nice. Toiletries and coffee in room. The bathroom doors were totally impractical. Blocked the entrance to the room, difficult to manoeuvre and slammed loudly without any pressure. Room was tiny and the awkward positioning of the doors didn’t help. Walls are paper thin and rooms in close quarters so be prepared to hear every noise your neighbours make including their bathroom doors slamming. No fridge unless requested…not really something you think of asking for when you’re planning a trip.

- ahmad (8/5): It did the job for a 3 stars hotel - The location of the hotel was very suitable for my travel purposes. It is far from all New York attractions but the train station is just 2 minutes walk and you need just 1 train to go to times square. There are lots of restaurants around the hotel and they do deliver as well. The room size was ok and the bathroom and shower were good. The staff were the best thing in the hotel and they were very friendly and helpful They could do better with the cleaning especially mopping the floors. My room was in front of the elevators, so it was a bit noisy when the elevator opened or people talked in front of the room.

- shutterlab (10/5): Ideal for the purpose and location - I stay there every year for the Millrose Games at the nearby Armory -- great location; always works out perfectly. Small room, spartan, limited but adequate amenities -- but perfect for my purposes. Comfortable, spotlessly clean, quiet, safe, reasonably priced, relaxed atmosphere. I had an unexpected health issue in the middle of the night =(indigestion) and the front desk were able to direct me confidently to a place I could buy antacids at two am -- bonus points!

The staff are very nice and helpful. There is no lobby to speak of, the rooms are small and there was only one chair, although the lovely staff will provide a second folding chair on request

The staff were great they greeted us we we left the hotel and when we came back. the room was clean and we had everything we needed definitely would stay there again.!!!!!!!! WE have no complaints .
- joiw462 (10/5): Quaint little hotel - Cute little find in Washington Heights. We stayed here because it is walking distance from the Nike Armory where my daughter competed. Small hotel, boutique-ish. There is a gym and lounge downstairs, no pool. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. Luis held our bags until check-in so we could roam the city. It's not too far from places to eat and hang--Fort Washington Public house is a local bar that is cool; pizza places, deli, bodegas, Starbucks etc are in walking distance or offer delivery--ON BIKES, but still you can get it! The room was small, the bathroom too, but I expected this...the most important thing was that it was CLEAN--and it was. You can't beat it for a 3 star hotel.

- Abdelkarim (1/5): Très déçu – rapport qualité-prix catastrophique ! - J’ai séjourné à l’Edge Hotel de fin décembre à début janvier 2026 et j’ai payé 1 870 € pour 7 nuits, ce qui est complètement excessif au vu de la prestation. La chambre est minuscule : il n’y a même pas assez de place pour ouvrir une grande valise correctement. La salle de bain est très mal conçue : le pommeau de douche est fixe et l’eau passe sous la porte, ce qui inonde le sol. La propreté laisse à désirer : c’est assez sale, surtout pour ce prix. L’hôtel est certes près d’une station de métro, mais il est très excentré. On est beaucoup trop loin des zones touristiques comme Times Square, ce qui rend les déplacements longs et fatigants. Dans la chambre, il n’y a pas de mini-réfrigérateur et l’armoire est ridiculement petite, ce qui est vraiment problématique pour un séjour d’une semaine. À ce tarif, on s’attend à un minimum de confort, de qualité et de propreté, ce qui n’est absolument pas le cas ici. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel.

Stanza molto confortevole, piccolina ma dotata di tutto il necessario. Bellissima la grande finestra con vista sulla città. Pulito e silenzioso, molto tranquillo. Gentilissimi i ragazzi della reception. Anche se la posizione è decentrata rispetto al cuore di Manhattan, la vicinanza della metro rende gli spostamenti molto comodi; è stato anche interessante poter scoprire e vivere una zona diversa di New York. Nulla, è stato davvero tutto molto piacevole. Solo come consiglio, potrebbero essere utili dei ganci per appendere le giacche in camera e un gancio in più per gli asciugamani in bagno.

- Bernhard (10/5): Super Preis-Leistung - Das Zimmer war klein, aber sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal ist extrem nett und hat uns bei allen Fragen weitergeholfen. Es gibt auch Getränke und Snacks, die man in der Lobby kaufen kann, was abends sehr praktisch war. Die Lage ist aufgrund der U-Bahn Nähe super (ist natürlich nicht Innenstadt, aber mit der U-Bahn kommt man in 20-30 Minuten ohne umsteigen zum Times Square usw.).

- UIlleam (7/5): Good value for Manhattan stay - Good location, right next to subway. Room was basic but comfortable enough. Compared to other Manhattan hotels, pretty good value. Staff was helpful and friendly. Great views! I would stay here again for a few nights in NYC. Room was slightly on the shabby side (eg holes in the sheets…) but nothing too bad… overall it was fine and good value.

- Mustang97 (8/5): Good Stay in Washington Heights - We stayed at the Edge Hotel while visiting family in Washington Heights over Thanksgiving. The hotel is conveniently located near the Columbia University Medical Center and only a block from the 1, A, and C lines. Our room was small (typical of NYC) but comfortable. The hotel is clean, safe, and well-managed. The staff is very friendly. I would stay there again.

- Ebony (10/5): Perfect location for a great nights rest! - Eric checked me in and was super helpful and efficient. Bonus as it was 10pm and I had a one year old with me. He was clearly and concise and made the check in effortless. I was pleased to see him at checked out also. And housekeeper Elizabeth was kind. I will definitely stay again. A vestibule by M101 bus which is handy and a minutes walk up Amsterdam. There was thin black lines of mold on the shower cubicle ceiling in room 904 and in the crevices of the grouting which was a bit worrying.
- Deborah (5/5): Good location but needs smart organizational attention and resources. - Convenient location to subway and family in the Heights Stayed for a week. No where to put clothes! The room had a very small cabinet to hang a few things and also a safe that did not work. Called maintenance and they couldn’t fix it. Very very frustrating. Housekeeping was inconsistent. 2nd day beds made, but dirty towels not replaced. 3rd day they didn’t clean at all even though we hung the sign that said please make up the room. Spoke to manager and suggested that the owner could add hooks and a few shelves to provide necessary additional space for travelers. It could be a gem with some common sense attention.

- IMMACULADA (8/5): Muy bien relación calidad precio y ubicación. - Las espectaculares vistas de la habitación. La amabilidad del personal, en especial de Luis. La comodidad de la cama. Muy cerca del metro, a sólo un minuto andando. El extractor del baño funcionaba día y noche... nunca paraba aunque la luz del baño estuviera apagada. Dijimos la situación y decían que no tenía arreglo ya que venía de los aires del tejado,... una cosa muy extraña... nos ofrecieron cambio de habitación pero entonces perdíamos las vistas y no quisimos. La limpieza muy justa, si usábamos jabones de sobre no los retiraban, no limpiaban la jabonera, después de ocho días estaba ya super marrón, debajo de la mesita de noche y escritorio se acumulaba el polvo. Yo creo que solo hacían la cama y cambiaban toallas.

- RobertaAnthony (8/5): Good Hotel with a Few Problems - Small boutiquey hotel in Washington Heights, really the only choice if you or a family member is receiving care at the Columbia U medical campus just a coupla blocks west. For that reason alone, The Edge is fine. It's on a relatively quiet block and seems to be reasonably safe. We liked it far better than the two Marriott choices about 40 blocks south in Harlem, (which for all the hype about gentrification and authentic culture, is still not much of an inviting neighborhood). This neighborhood, which is also part of Little Dominican Republic, was quite welcoming, with main streets busy most hours, and stores and bodegas open late -- most of them family businesses operated by friendly people with a genuine stake in things. Hotel itself with just 50-or-so-rooms, has a quiet vibe -- perfect atmosphere for us considering the stress we were under during our stay. Just about everyone we encountered from the staff was lovely and seemed quite hardworking. Rooms are clean, small but efficient. Tiny bathroom could use more light -- and counter space, easily done with more efficient shelving. Water pressure is pretty good. Thermostat and TV are both problematic, overly complicated, dated and often not working correctly. We had no use of TV dial for almost all of our entire 3-week stay, despite several valiant efforts by the building staff. This was the one true problem we encountered and should have been addressed by staff on checkout, but was not. Towels and linens are great. Mattress just ok. Small lobby 'snack bar' also offers paper plates and cups. Lower level has a small gym, lounge and microwave. All in all a good choice if you must be in this location. Could be great with a few key upgrades.

Pokój czysty i tylko trochę przeszkadzały hałasy z pokoju obok, ale goście byli wyjątkowo głośni (małe dziecko krzyczało, a jego rodzice głośno odpowiadali). W przypadku normalnego użytkowania pokoju raczej nie powinno być problemu. Wielkość pokoju odpowiednia do ceny. Wygodne urządzenie do robienia kawy w pokoju. Warto, aby była jednoznaczna informacja co przysługuje bezpłatnie, a za co trzeba płacić. Po przyjeździe nie zostałem poinformowany o możliwości korzystania z chyba bezpłatnego czajnika i wody przy recepcji. Kiedyś zapytałem o możliwość wypicia wody z tego kranika i dostałem odpowiedź, że mogę kupić wodę w butelce. W pokoju nie ma czajnika z możliwością robienia herbaty. Dopiero tuż przed wyjazdem przypadkiem zauważyłem, że jest pomieszczenie do ćwiczeń w piwnicy. Nie wiem czy było czynne (nikt nie ćwiczył) i nie zostałem poinformowany, czy korzystanie jest płatne, czy może jest dostępne dla gości hotelowych.

- Elizabeth (10/5): Reasonably priced, well-appointed uptown option - Great location close to 2 subway lines (A/C and 1) and platform elevators. Convenient services in neighborhood (24 hour greengrocer and deli within 1-2 blocks on the way to the subway). Well appointed room (lots of outlets, lighting, tall faucet for filling water bottles). Since our stay was long (5 days), free fridge was brought in. Great view of downtown skyscrapers. Lounge area was good place to entertain visitors since room is typical small NYC space. Shower leaked (faulty gasket on underside of door?), but since towels were changed daily, not a big deal.
- Alicia (9/5): Super séjour, je recommande - Accueil irréprochable, personnel serviable. La literie est confortable, ce qui est appréciable après une bonne journée de marche ! L’emplacement est parfait (3min à pieds du métro) et une vue incroyable sur la skyline. Nous avons pu laisser nos bagages à l’hôtel le dernier jour avant de reprendre notre vol le soir-même. Certains meubles étaient abîmés et très peu d’espace de rangement pour une chambre qui est prévue pour 4 personnes.
