- Pamela (4/5): - Staff seemed annoyed for our arrival as if we were putting them out. Wifi never worked. Mattresses were so bad as if we were sleeping on the coils. Bathroom had very musty smell and a continuous leak. Night shade over glass window door never worked. Would snap up whenever we tried to close to block parking lot lights. Bright green light atop door (and in bathroom) was so bright it disturbed our sleep. Only window was view of parking lot which or course they conveniently omit from their website pics. Positives: Decent breakfast and in-room tea/coffee service. Ample seating with couch and chair

- Charles (10/5): - I wanted to check in fast and visit an important attraction before they closed. The reception lady indicated that by law she had to check us in right away and show us the room. I asked if I could leave my bags in the lobby and check in after and she said, "If I did that she could not grantee she could check us in." because she would be too busy. I was thinking that she had no choice in the matter to do so and if I had arrived at 8pm she would have to check me in if she liked it or not. ??
- Michael (10/5): King Arthur's Arms - Just one night this visit. Waiting for holiday cottage down the road. We have stayed many times here and has been constantly first class. Food is excellent and the staff always go out of there way to talk to us and make sure everything is good.
- Michael (10/5): The perfect location to launch your exploration. - A lovely family run Inn, close to Tintagel Castle. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful while the local village is as quaint as it is beautiful.

- Dominic (2/5): - Really disappointing- this is not a cosy pub getaway; it’s a huge pub with sterile rooms that stink of bleach on top/around it. The accommodation was fine in itself and the staff were friendly enough but live music shook the room until 11pm right underneath the bedroom and destroyed any prospect of rest. We couldn’t wait to leave and didn’t hang around for the free breakfast - we didn’t complain when there as there was clearly nothing anybody could do about it - one to avoid.

Toller Ausblick auf die Alte Post, super schön. Leider dröhnten die Bässe der Musik bis Mitternacht, was den Aufenthalt etwas trübte. Ansonsten tolles Frühstück nach Wahl und super nettes Personal.

- robin (10/5): - We stayed in an annex room, number 1. This room had an extra bedroom and was very spacious. The bathroom was very nice with lots of towels. The tea/coffee tray in the room was by far the best we had seen in a very long time, not stingy like most places. The full English was amazing as was the service from the young lady that waited at our table. We had booked the Camelot Hotel but changed it after we read a few reviews. It's far from town and a bit dated with no breakfast included. The best location is definitely the King Aurther's Arms for your visit to Tintagel. 1 day is enough time to see pretty much everything!

Rooms are above a pub that serves tasty food and extensive beverages, plus you get to listen to the bass from the pub after you go up to your room. The breakfast was exceptional, cuppacino in place of coffee. My favority breakfast after 3 week of travel in England and 10 or so different inns.

Sunny and spacious. Bathroom had a large shower with excellent water pressure. Breakfast was included at the pub. The pub serves great food, too, steak and ale pie was top notch. Parking is included with the price and is directly outside. They'll let you park before check-in and after check-out so you can explore the area. Tintagel Castle and Merlin's Cave are only a few minutes' walk away! You can also explore the town from here, lots of shops and restaurants. Brilliant place to stay and highly, highly recommended. We will stay again if in the area.

- J (6/5): Clean and comfy but no hot water - Very conveniently located in the heart of Tintagel with ample (free for guests) parking right next door. The room was clean with very comfy beds. The (in our case included) breakfast was plentiful with free coffee refills (a nice touch) though the sausages were best avoided (generic pub meat tubes). We also had dinner (only guests can pre-book a table) which was very tasty if (subjectively) slightly overpriced. The only real complaint was the lack of hot water. Returning from a glorious if damp autumn walk, a hot shower is something of a necessity. Finding no hot water at 5pm, we queried with the staff and a booster was put on with a somewhat resigned response that "lots of people must have been having a bath at the same time". 2 hours later and it was still cold. It was warmer by 10pm but the next morning (7:45) it was cold again, pointing to a system that simply isn't fit for purpose. As such, given that country romps are such a key attraction to this beautiful neck of the world, it's hard to recommend an establishment that can't offer guests hot water and handles the issue as beyond their control. A pity as the place has much going for it.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Stunning atmospheric location in Tinatagel - Lovely room (double with two singles) overlooking the Old Post Office. The pub sign did squeak all through the night as it was quite windy. Very clean and felt Covid rules well adhered to.

- Victoria (6/5): Disappointed guest - We booked for 5 nights and was told check in 5pm and check out 10am very late in and early out and that during the 5 days there would be no housekeeping service because of Covid 19. We understood this but it was no logic as other hotels, inn , b&b in the area where providing the service. We had to ask for someone to empty the bin and for clean towels and during 5 days we were never offered a change of linen. The annexes are spacious and clean however it was like your room was in the main town car park the noise level was incredible and our bathroom was connected to the kitchen so we could hear the conversations fully. On our last day I called and asked if we could have an extension on the check out time from 10 to 11am and was told the maximum they could offer was till 10:30. Very inflexible and shocking to think we were guest for 5 nights and it takes them from 10 to 5pm to clean 14 room really. Overall the team in the inn specifically Rach and Monika were fabulous and very friendly organized and made our stay. When they were not on duty it was rather chaotic, disorganized and very poor service. Overall we were rather disappointed with our experience so sorry..

Good choice of teas and coffees in room with offer of a jug of fresh milk if we didn't like the UHT milk sachets. Very quiet location at night. Very handy for Tintagel Castle and SW Coastal Path. Free parking. Wi-fi was a bit disappointing - very weak/non-existent signal in room. Good food menu for evenings & good value. Fast table service. All friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast

The Inn is situated in the middle of town next to the public car park which is free if you are staying at the hotel. It is a stones throw from the entrance to the site at Tintagel. A good selection of food. All in all a good choice.
