Guest Reviews
- Richard (8/5): Lovely weekend getaway - Lovely weekend getaway. Great location. Room nice and tidy, very spacious and clean.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great size, lovely view
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great Location, Very clean and well presented property.
- Anaru (10/5): - Great location. Apartment 54 was spacious, warm and well set-up with facilities. Only thing we would have liked is more seamless parking arrangements. We discovered that weekend parking is readily available immediately outside the building for $24 per night (12hrs).
- Nancy (10/5): A fabulous find - This was a fantastic place stay. The apartment and all the amenities were wonderful. We enjoyed watching the morning activities, and the sunset/city lights in the evening, from the inviting deck. The location was perfect for all of our city exploration. I would recommend a stay at this location to anyone headed to Auckland.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Greatest location close to everything. Our contact was fantastic and did a lot of little extras that just made our day several times over.
The unit is a bit in need of some sprucing up but good to go anytime.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Enjoyed central location, security, quiet rooms, great layout and facilities of apartment, Communication with the apartment owner was fantastic, and easy access to the waterfront facilities.
Disappointing ( not the owners fault).
If there is no available parking when booking, (we'd hoped to leave the car inhouse and use the city busses or walk). The alternative parking around the accommodation was Wilson Parking. This was so costly and a nightmare to deal with when on/off loading luggage. Auckland BCD has been taken over by roadworks, closed roads replaced by detours away from the car parks. Not knowing the area, we ended up miles from the accommodation.
- Margaret (8/5): Convenient - This apartment is in a convenient location if you just get off a cruise as we did. The apartment is really a studio and would obviously be very hot if it were the height of summer although there is air conditioning (basic). The place is tired - needs a little revamp on furniture and fittings, but it served a purpose. The owner was very helpful with instructions on how to get in - which is complicated and we saw others in the block also having difficulty. There is a lift which is good if you have luggage.Unfortunately there is a lot of work going on in Auckland and around the harbour and the noise was at times unbearable. The place is very overpriced for what it was - the most expensive we paid in all of New Zealand, and one of the most basic
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Close to city ferries and resteraunts very clean and modern Loved the little touches like milk and cereal Washing powder Saved ya walking to find a supermarket as convenience store very expensive
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Central location, great neighborhood all amenities you need
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing communication ! Massive apartment!! Very helpful staff
Overall i cant imagine anywhere better
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent location. First class accommodation. Everything you could need for your stay is provided.
Delightful and helpful contact person.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - No view, only free to air tv, uncomfortable bed and couch
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Excellent location for dining and entertainment as well as for cruise ship docking. Host very accomodating and let us leave our suitcases in apartment extra time after the checkout. Luxury place well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Even welcome box of chocolates. Host easy and quick to communicate. Lovely apartment close to Hilton on wharf.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Sparkling clean and spacious luxuary apartment. Ideal location for seeing city and Cuba St for restaurants. Convenient for cruise ship dock. Host very accommodating and easy to contact. Let us leave our suitcases in apartment for a late checkout. Highly recommend this property. Well stocked with everything even a welcome box of chocolates.
- Leslie (4/5): Cruise ships block view and are noisy with fumes - On the positive, great location for Britomart, Viaduct Harbour and the ferries. The apartment itself was also a good size and well-equipped, although one of the sun lounger's was broken.
Less positively, it's on a pier that is used for cruise ships so, for most of the time, the only view you have is the solid mass of the side of a cruise ship 15 metres away. Fumes from the funnel come straight down into the apartment, the ship's generator is noisy as they are on 24 hours a day and passengers can see straight into the apartment.
- Jeffry (8/5): First trip to New Zealand - On our first trip to New Zealand we stayed in Auckland for four nights to get over jet lag. It was great having an apartment. However when the huge cruise ships came in the area was chaotic. The apartment was large and having a washer/ dryer was a plus!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Excellent size. Great amenities. Good parking although suited to a smaller car. Check in was not easy as greeter had poor english and understanding them was difficult. Otherwise we will use this property again
- Kerry (8/5): - This property was located at Shed 23 directly opposite the wharf that our crews ship docked, perfect.
It had a comfortable queen bed a enormous balcony, a wonderful kitchen and generally well set up to be self contained. A stove large fridge, microwave dishwasher in kitchen. A bathroom laundry with a great washing machine and dryer. Priced right for the area
- Naomi (8/5): - Lovely property, with a great location and so close to town and eating out options.
- JULIE (8/5): Location location location - Apartment had everything needed but is getting a bit tired. Very uncomfortable lounge seating area, carpets could do with a clean but overall was well equipped. The location is just excellent. So blues to quality restaurants and the pier to catch ferries for many day trips available.
- FIONA (10/5): wonderful location close to everything I wanted - EXCELLENT quiet location no traffic noise yet so close to CBD
- Ian (8/5): Great but not what we paid for. - Loved the apartment and location, our only complaint was that we booked and paid for a harbour view sea facing appartment and we were placed in one overlooking the Hilton Hotel - not harbour view or sea facing
- Toni (10/5): - Great location handy to were we needed to get to.
- Vicki (8/5): Views - Lovely location with good views of the harbour. Handy location for the city. Washing machine and dryer. Well appointed kitchen. Thoughtful accesseries like books ,games, chocolates, breakfast cereal, tea, coffee, milk and bottled water. Free parking available on arrangement. Good security.
- Bev (10/5): Location plus - Very comfortable and excellent location. Supplies provided to begin our stay. Checking in was easy as your contact found us even though our flight had been delayed.
- Phillip (10/5): Location and apartment was GREAT! - Amazing location, amazing view, and perfect apartment. Has laundry, oven, and and great size balcony with a view.
- Fee (10/5): Ideal location. Romantic getaway... - A perfectly positioned property to explore the Habour area and try out your eatery of choice. ....A Clean , comfortable and lovely decorated unit with everything you need. Excellent communication and help from the host. Thank you so much ...... :) We really enjoyed our stay at your beautiful property......Very highly recommendedplace to stay......(* note....need a new can opener as old one needs replacing :) ).
- Dave (10/5): Large Apartment. Perfect location - This apartment was exceptional. On waterfront in centre of Auckland. Close to ferry and metro and bus interchange. Free parking.
Large modern apartment with internal laundry.
- mitch (10/5): Good home - Yes I enjoyed it nice views would go there again there were a lot of food places around to
- Bernadette (10/5): - We had a pleasant stay. The apartment was spacious, good location on a wharf, near the ferries. The room was well furnished with kitchen apparel, fridge, oven, washing machines and amenities. The lady, Laura, who attended the apartment was very charming and helpful.
- C (10/5): Perfect downtown location - Very nice apartment. Excellent location downtown by the water with a huge selection of restaurants close by. Convenient with parking in same building and excellent communication with staff. Will definitely stay here next time I come to Auckland.
- Eunice (10/5): Great Location - Well equipped apartment with a home away from home feel. Very quiet at night.
- Michael R. (10/5): Wonderful condo in a great location! - We really enjoyed staying here, and Laura was helpful at getting us checked in.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Overall good but the harbour pic was misleading - The apartment is good and in very convenient location. The only compliant I have is the photo used on hotelS.com is misleading. There is no direct harbour view when I view outside of my flat. I had to turn an angle before I saw a partial harbour view. I would suggest you change to a different picture.
- Nick (10/5): Great apartment, service and stunning views - Excellent apartment to stay in and great service & support from Laura. Spacious, well-appointed and within easy access of both the wharves and the centre of Auckland, this is a great place to watch the world go by and explore the city. Overlooks Queens wharf to the East, so sunrise, ferries and other activities are all possible. Would go back here anytime!
- Susan (10/5): Superb location right on the Wharf! - This fully equipped apartment is located on Princes Wharf overlooking the Harbor where the ferries come in. We were met by Laura who escorted us to the apartment and familiarized us with everything. She was very helpful with her prior emails and instructions. The apartment has a balcony with great lounge chairs, and table with chairs. Great for outdoor entertainment and eating. Comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen. It even had a washer and dryer. The interior is modern decor. The apartment was very quiet and had security entrances that you would enter electronically with your own key. Great place. I could live there! Thank you Laura for accommodating us with early check in and late departure.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice bright and plenty of room, close to Britomart and restaurant, great place to stay in Aucklands CBD.
- Lisa (8/5): Not quite 5 star. - 2 nights in the Princess Wharf Apartments was terrific, although we found the housekeeping not to be as clean as it could be. The oven was still quite dirty and long term dust had settled. The washing machine and dryer were a great bonus but again not as clean as you’d hope. These appliances are in a recessed cupboard that seriously needs more air and the exhaust fan in the cupboard did not work leaving a terrible odour when opening the cupboard. I’d stay here again though as it is a great price for lovely living and security.
- Anthony (10/5): - A short 2 night stay in Auckland. We found our Grace Apartment to be well positioned, very clean, roomy, comfortable and well appointed with cooking facilities. Laura was wonderful in meeting us after hours on our late arrival and made it so easy to access out apartment. Would definitely stay again when next in Auckland.
- Kathryn (10/5): Home away from home - We loved staying in this apartment. Laura was fantastic and responded to any problems we encountered. Having milk and other staples already there was great. We used the washer (soap provided) and dryer many times. It felt like a home away from home.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Loved Princess Wharf Apt - Loved our stay at Princess Wharf Apt for comfort, spaciousness, kitchen and parking. Location wonderful!
- ian (8/5): Close to downtown Auckland. - Check if any noice in this area. Noice travels over water.
- Michael (8/5): Great apartment in top location - Was staying in a very expensive hotel, and wanted better value for money so checked for accommodation nearby. While older, the apartment was much larger and very nice and only 8 minutes walk away. Laura could not have been more helpful and friendly. I was allowed to keep my bags stored after check out which I appreciated.
- Sue (10/5): A rental apartment right on the wharf - We stayed for four nights in this apartment rental. We stayed after a cruise and it was an ideal location and very comfortable. It has a large balcony overlooking the harbour with great views! We were in walking distance of many good restaurants, including the Sky Tower, which was fabulous!
We were able to store our luggage for the day until check in, after we disembarked our cruise.
Lots of shopping close by as well. The On/Off tour bus started just a block away from where we stayed, and is worthwhile. The ferry docks were right beside us, for travel to other parts of Auckland. We truly did not want to leave! We loved Auckland!
- Julie (10/5): Apartment 54 - Wonderful stay - The apartment was opposite the Hilton Hotel and so was really easy to navigate around to restaurants and bars as well as to motorways and Britomart. Our apartment was really well set up, complete with all the linen and towels, cleaning products, appliances as well as small boxes of cereal! We could not fault anything about our stay. Laura was such a lovely person, eager to help and make our stay comfortable. I couldn't recommend more highly how nice it was to stay there and would certainly make another booking if we were heading back up North again.
- Suzanne (10/5): Great Apartment in bar/restaurant central - Fabulous apartment. Spacious and very clean. Nice additions such as a box of chocolates, fizzy drinks and plunger coffee. Checking was seemless. Laura was attentive on emails and texts and met us on arrival. Had a quick show around and let us to our own devices.
Area is great. Many bars and restaurants in local areas. Britomart 5 mins walk away, viaduct on doorstep and wynyard quarter 7 walk away. Would highly recommend
- Heather (8/5): Convenient Hotel in the heart of the Viaduct - Clean and tidy, Everthing that you need is in the apartment. Booking in went smoothly.
- andre (10/5): Nice apartment. - Nice apartments by the Auckland docks and waterfront. Good size and very clean. Perfect for short or long term stay in Auckland.
- David (10/5): Close to Convention centre - Very helpful staff. Very accomodating to our plans
