• melo (3/5): Muy mala - Era lindo y buena ubicación Nuestra experiencia fue muy mala. La habitación estaba llena de geckos/lagartijas dentro, lo que fue súper incómodo y desagradable. No había nadie que nos ayudara a sacarlas, así que tuvimos que lidiar con eso solos. Para peor, durante toda la noche hubo mucho ruido, lo que hizo imposible descansar. Definitivamente no fue la experiencia que esperábamos

The phone provided in the reference is wrong. There are not two beds in the room, no air conditioning in the kitchen. Most of the equipment is old.

Zum Kochen ist alles vorhanden und das Equipment in einem guten Zustand. Das Bett ist bequem. Die Kleine Terrasse lädt zum verweilen ein. Preis/Leistung top! Ich komme gerne wieder!!

• Thomas (9/5): A relaxing place that is great for the price - I liked the location a lot, it wasn’t too far from many shops, a grocery store, etc… Also it was far enough away that you didn’t hear any of the noise from the more central areas because there’s a lot of it lol. The place was clean, the villa is very beautiful, especially the pool area. The trickling water from the pool is relaxing and you can hear it from inside your room. I also liked that towels were provided There’s not much I didn’t like. It is a reasonable, clean, and relaxing place for the price I paid.

Staff were kind. Very Clear instructions on how to access the gate and unit. Being on the bottom floor it got a little noisy when people were using the pool or being outside or when the Landry machines were being used.

• Prinzessin1923 (1/5): - Von den was wir sehen könnten, war die Außenanlage sauber und in Ordnung. Wo soll ich anfangen.... Nach der Buchung mit Vorkasse über Kreditkarte wurde die Buchung bezahlt und bestätigt. Wir bekamen einen Code für das Schloss um au das Gelände der Apartments zu gelangen, den Code für den Zimmerschlüssel sollten wir,aus Sicherheitsgründen, später bekommen. Soweit so gut. Nun ging das Spiel los. Wir bekamen mehrere KI generierte Nachrichten, in denen wir gebeten wurden Fragen zu unserem Aufenthalt zu beantworten. Das haben wir getan. Dann wollte man auf unserer Kreditkarte eine Kaution blocken, falls Schäden wärend unseres Aufenthaltes entstehen. Dies war, ohne unsere Autorisierung natürlich nicht möglich. Wie gesagt, die Buchung über booking war zu diesem Zeitpunkt bereits bezahlt und bestätigt. Man wollte dann, das wir unsere Kreditkarten Daten auf einer Hotelseite hinterlegen. Das haben wir verweigert, da booking uns zu diesem Zeitpunkt schon gewarnt hat, keine Daten preis zu geben. Wir haben mehrfach versucht mit dem Vermieter in Kontakt zu treten, auch telefonisch. Wir saßen mittlerweile an der Unterkunft und es war bereits dunkel in Costa Rica. Der Schriftverkehr fand immer wieder per KI statt und es war nicht möglich, mit einem Mitarbeiter zu sprechen oder zu schreiben. Wir haben wirklich alles mögliche versucht um die Vermieter zu bewegen uns in unser Zimmer zu lassen. Das Ende vom Lied: Wir haben uns Abends noch ein anderes Zimmer gesucht und haben nicht in dieser Unterkunft geschlafen, da man sich geweigert hat uns den Pin zu geben. Wir sind mit booking in Kontakt um unser Geld zurück zu bekommen. Booking hat sich der Sache angenommen, da bei der Buchung von einer Kaution nichts kommuniziert wurde. Wir raten von einer Buchung ab.

No generan factura, a pesar de que se las pedí insistentemente se revisaron a brindarme una factura, ni electrónica ni simplificada ni de ningún tipo. No recomiendo este lugar
• Yannick (7/5): Good - It is well located in Tamarindo. It is isolated from all the busy streets and it is very quite. The street to access the house is in a bad shape as it is not asphalted. 10 minutes on food to access the beach which is amazing. The house complex is very beautiful and it is well protected by the gate. The pictures shown on booking don't reflect how it looks like in reality. The inside of the houses are very old and would need a renovation. The potential of these houses could be much higher.

The kitchen was very convenient. The pool was clean. There was nothing fancy about this place, but we were going for value over extras, so that was fine. The electric cords for the readings lights beside the bed had been cut off, so they were unusable.

Nous avions quelques fourmis dans la chambre, la piscine n’est pas au soleil et il n’y a pas vraiment d’endroit pour s’assoir à l’extérieur. Le miroir de la salle de bain était brisé et laissé dans le salon a un endroit peu sécuritaire.

One guest told me he paid 50 USD for him and his gf. 2) I needed to shorten my stay by one day. I requested this one week before I arrived. This was an unpleasant experience. It seemed that instead of chatting with a human it’s an AI chat bot. Then I finally when it reached a human - it was confirmed that they will refund. After few days of radio silence, I reached out. AI chat bot responded. I was again at point 0. I tried again to explain the situation. This repeated few times. Long story short I didn’t get my refund. Considering that I overpaid, I find this unfair and I would not again stay at this place.

• Leonie (3/5): Not a 3 star hotel - The location was central and quiet. The house was dark and would need to be restaurated. It was old and not well cleaned. There was no cleaning service (no change of towels etc.), we stayed for 3 days and had to ask the cleaning lady if we could have more toilet paper. The coffee machine didn’t work properly. The washing machine and dryer for all properties was directly in front of our kitchen and run from early in the morning on and made loud sounds when finished. It’s definitely not a 3 star hotel - since it’s no hotel at all, more like an Airbnb.

• Daniela (4/5): Unmögliches Verhalten und Dreckige Wohnung - Die Lage und Parkplatz vor der Tür. Es war abgewohnt. Die Matratzen durchgelegen (man hat auf dem Metallgitter gelegen) und es war sehr dreckig (siehe Bilder). Bei Ankunft funktionierte die AC nicht und wir reisen mit kleinen Kindern. Es war super heiß in der Wohnung. Auf Meldung wurde erst mit Abwiegeln und unklarem Zeitpunkt einer Reparatur reagiert. Stornieren wollte man uns nicht lassen. Wir sollten froh sein, dass Sonnenuntergang ist und den Pool nutzen sowie die Fenster aufmachen (fun fact: dann hat man Ameisen überall). Erst auf massiven Druck und Drohung die Kreditkartenzahlung zurück zu holen, kam ein Zeitpunkt zur Reparatur. Diese erfolge dann 1,5 Stunden nach dem vereinbarten Termin am Abend.

• Amy (5/5): What you see is not what you get - Beds were comfortable and courtyard with pool was beautiful. There is a built in hair dryer in the bathroom and the fridge and freezer in the room is very nice. Good location and the air conditioning was nice. Well, unfortunately lots of things. The property is listed as a hotel but it is more like an AirBnb or apartment rental only. There is no front desk staff or anyone keeping an eye on the place (codes and lock boxes to enter). This is normally okay but not what I thought we were getting, and no one to enforce any rules. When our neighbors were up at 4am in the pool making a ton of noise, no one was there to help. We told them to be quite TWICE but what are we supposed to do, fight them? They didn’t listen and no one was there so we were up for a long time in the middle of the night. Additionally, the bathroom is a mess. There is no mirror in the bathroom. How are you supposed to shave your face or do your hair or makeup? Also the window in the bathroom doesn’t open and the whole bathroom was dirty. None of this was represented on the listing. I’ve had a lot of stays with Booking and they have been excellent, this one was my only disappointment thus far.

No nos pudimos contactar con el personal del alojamiento a pesar de varios intentos a varios números distintos que figuran en la pagina. Finalmente nunca terminamos de tomar el hospedaje por la falta de comunicación. Igual se nos cobro la estancia. El dueño solo se escuda con la politica de la empresa sin asumir fallas en la fluidez de la comunicación. Además hay un depósito oculto que te enteras luego de pagar el alojamiento.
• JulioRKT (4/5): MI PEOR EXPERIENCIA EN BOOKING. ADEMAS NO DEVUELVEN LA GARANTIA .Va denuncia!!!! - No daban desayuno , la ubicacion buena pero la calle de acseso un desastre. Faltaban cortinas en el area de sala , estabamos sin intimidad , el resto de las cortinas era semitransparentes, nos veian y veiamos otras villas. En nuestro dormitorio una de las ventanas no daba al exterior sino directamente al galpon-Office de la señora que limpia los exteriores, una verguenza. Piscina muy profunda por ser complejo familiar, los niños y las mujeres no hacian pie. En el estacionamiento las luces y los cables caian sobre los automoviles , nadie los levanto en 5 dias. La cerradura de acceso al depto muy fragil y con mucho juego, poca seguridad. No es un Hotel !!! son cinco departamentos. LO PEOR HACE 10 DIAS QUE RECLAMO EL DEPOSITO DE GARANTIA DE 50 DOLARES Y EL PROPIETARIO NO DEFINE , NI DEVUELVE , ALEGA QUE SU BANCO LIBERO EL DINERO Y MI BANCO NO SABE NADA Y MI CUENTA NO RECIBIO NADA, LO PEOR .....MI TIEMPO !!! Y este señor alega puras excusas.

• Kristie (9/5): Very comfortable and luxery stay in the heart of Tamarindo - Very big comfortable apartment with a kitchen that includes everything you need to make a good meal. The location was good, only 10min walk from the beach. Enough parking space and good instructions for check in. The official checkin was at 16:00 and we arrived already at 12:00 in tamarindo. When we contacted the owner, at first early checkin was not available because we booked 2 days in advance. Fortunately the cleaning lady was ready at 14:30 and we could checkin earlier then expected.

Cleaning could be better - the bathroom needs attention mold/limescale. The toaster (broken) and electric kettle (full of rust) in poor condiotins - could not be used

The pool was great and the location was perfect being super close to the main restaurants and to the beach, but still in a calm street. Check in and check out hours are a little inconvenient but nothing worth rating down the place!!
• Todd (10/5): I'll definitely be back! - The place is well located. Walking distance, only a few blocks to restaurants, beach, and nightlife, yet in a quiet neighborhood. The room was well appointed and there's a great little pool. Excellent value! N/A

• Juan (1/5): Be aware… They will charge you a deposit!!! And it is almost impossible to get in tu h with anybody from the administrat - This place is nice, but be aware that they will charge you a DEPOSIT. Just make sure you do it with your credit card, because if you make the reservation with your debit card you will not get assistance from anybody at this place. You don’t have interaction with any body at the administration. The common areas were not clean…
• Shamaree (3/5): Emergency stay only. I would not stay here again! - The location was walkable. They accommodated our last minute, emergency reservation. The bedroom and bathroom were extremely worn down! The mattress was hard as a rock. It felt like springs with a thin layer of cloth. It clearly had never been wiped down and the paint was peeling everywhere. The bathroom window was stuck shut! We made sure to wear shower shoes for safety! The TV buffered almost the entire time. I am aware that being by the water can cause more than normal wear but this was clearly unkept.
