Guest Reviews
- Jan (8/5): very peaceful - Peaceful, quiet setting The driveway requires maintenance as there are some large potholes.
- McPherson (5/5): Acceptable - N/A. Location was good for us as we were visiting relatives in Dural. Building has good bones but badly in need of a refresh. Carpet in our room was dirty and stained. Place needs a good paint and repair of rotting wood outside. Could be made really special with sme TLC.
- Matt (7/5): - Sign-posting.
- Stacey Howlett (10/5): - Beautiful location
- Erin Charlene (10/5): Phenomenal - From the minute I booked it was simply exceptional. I was greeted by the host when arrived, who was very friendly and polite. He gave me a quick tour and showed me all the amenities. The house was spectacular, the room was large and very clean. My only regret was not having stayed long enough to enjoy the use of the spa, sauna and pool. Myself and our 6 year old didn’t want to leave. Thank you for having us! We will definitely return in the near future!
- Greg (8/5): - Quirky, nice and quiet.
- Stuart (6/5): - Old, worn, dusty, flies in rooms and windows . Would not recommend.

- MARK (8/5): Happy with price and cleanliness ,Great people . - Like the Location,. Owners were lovely ! Jessie the dog was adorable . A little fridge in the room would be nice .
- justin (10/5): -
- Jenkins (10/5): One bedroom apartment stay - I liked how big the room was and the appliances that were included with the room I liked everything
- Karen (9/5): Lovely location, quiet apart from rooms! - Great location Not sound proof. People using spa bath after 9.30 was annoying especially when having water jets going for more than half an hour. Guess rural location means roosters at ungodly o clock
- C (10/5): - Beautiful property

- Luca (8/5): -

- Nicole (8/5): - Spacious, had everything we needed and it was comfortable

- Katie (10/5): - Easy access, lots of room, friendly, well appointed and clean.
- Kim (4/5): - Was not impressed walking into chemical fumes from fumigation on a Sunday
Ans the bed was old and uncomfortable.
- Peter (8/5): -
- Robert Kothe (2/5): Miserable. In my opinion, the worst Airbnb I have stayed at in last 10 years. - The location It was not as advertised. Some units might have amenities advertised. Mine did not. Staff did not respond to requests for information. It was very cold. Tiled floors did not heat up in five days. There were no carpets as advertised. There was no duvet. I was unable to get access to the advertised washing machine.
- Delise (8/5): Great stay - Location Water took long time to run hot
- Corey (10/5): -
- Kylie (10/5): -
- Claire (8/5): Big enough for a group of friends to stay, small enough that you could use what rooms you needed. - It was perfect for our needs - spacious, clean and we were grateful for the milk that was provided in the fridge. If the sun had been out we would have used the pool too. One extra item would have been beneficial - a portable speaker in the lounge/dining area. One that we could connect our music playlists to.
- Scott (8/5): -
- Dennis (9/5): Very relaxing quiet stay. - Great hosts. Very helpful. Very quiet location. Nothing.
- Allan (8/5): It was a short stay to visit relatives but it was quiet and a lovely accommodation - Location was perfect for visiting relatives nothing
- Corey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Talal (9/5): i would go back there - quietness and the vibes are worth it really little bit location
- John (5/5): Great Expectations. - The location. We had a 1 bedroom apartment. All the taps in the bathroom needed new washers or replacing. The shower did not have a shelf for accessories just one soap holder .In the lounge room the food preparation area consisted of a table , a refrigerator and a toaster . Cutlery and crockery had to be accessed from a shared kitchen . The entry door had an ill fitting lock . Overall it was not what we expected. Certainly overpriced. Its a shame really as with some serious maintenance the apartment would be quite acceptable but still spoilt by the shared kitchen.
- Larry (1/5): I left in dismay at what was advertised as a hotel. - Nothing The property is falsely advertised on your website. There is no en suite bathroom. The pool is green. No maintenance on deck.
- Michael (7/5): Good -
- Greg (10/5): - Great spot and Jimmy was great. We’ll be back with a few others next time.
- James (10/5): - We found the property more than expected. Our arrival experience was lovely.
- Sally-jean (9/5): Another wonderful stay at Relaxin - We stayed in Room 8 which is the Largest.
It was really nice , big spa and sauna.
My fav spot is sitting on out verandah outside our room , with the beautiful outlook of the property.
This is our second stay here and we will definitely be back again. Nothing to report
- Geoff (8/5): Nice place. - .. ..
- Cathryn (7/5): Beautiful area of Sydney lovely place to stay if you don’t mind sharing common areas - Lovely House, comfortable beds and aircon in every room. felt like home away from home grounds and inside needs a bit of attention. few more tea towels and dish cleaning cloths would be helpful in the kitchen
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Nice chill vibe...good place out of the hustle and bustle of the city....will be back
- Jonathan (7/5): Good -
- yue (10/5): - Quiet rural area
- Diann (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): Comfortable stay - Nice and quiet position, beds were comfortable. Host Jimmy was friendly and helpful and greeted me on arrival. Wifi worked well.
- Sally-jean (8/5): Beautiful relaxing - I loved this place , if only we had a extra day there to enjoy the surroundings.
Beautiful outlook
I only have one negative, which is room 5 the Double bed is Rock hard , like a concrete slab.
I slept on the single bed because the double was so uncomfortable.
The rest of the place just wonderful and I will be back. Double bed room 5 way too hard
- Didier (8/5): - Nice kitchen and a lot of space. Pity that the bathroom and also the toilet are to share.
- Dhunniobir (8/5): Very good -
- Elizabeth (7/5): Relaxing -
- Mystopover (5/5): Passable -
- Vandy (9/5): Superb - The location is beautiful - out in the country with trees and grass and plenty of birds. And yet it's not far from Sydney!
- Andrew (10/5): - Great property lots of restaurants and supermarkets located within 10 mins. Takes about 30mins to drive to cbd area of Sydney. Fantastic staff especially Jess the night security guard 🐶
- Kylie (10/5): Quiet, peaceful stay in a beautiful area. - Our room was fantastic. Bunk bed for the kids and king bed for us. We loved the spa bath, and husband love the sauna.
The room was spacious enough that we didn't feel cramped at all. The pool was a massive hit :)
We loved our stay and will definitely be back in the future.
- Fiona (10/5): Thoroughly recommended. - Booked entire place. with family to attend a wedding. Great accessibility for 90yr old grandma, and the kids loved the pool. There was plenty of room for all of us to have our own space, communal space, and good kitchen facilities. Not like being in the city at all.
Friendly and helpful staff.
- John (10/5): - Very enjoyable stay nice and relaxing and quiet
- Cindy (5/5): Its ok - The dog on the premises. And the shower had the best jet stream flow. Not much. I disliked the room, it was extremely outdated and even had a dressing table? what? a desk would have been better. The lock was loud and because I use the loo alot, I felt like I was waking everyone, just to get out of my room, and the veradah lock did not feel locked and therefore I felt unsafe. The bed was horribly hard and uncomfortable, although very clean. The TV was way too small. There was a wardrobe in the room, that creeped me out. There was no where to turn on the fan so had to use air con all night. Kitchen was tidy, but I had no idea if I could leave my food in the fridge or if the food in the fridge was for everyone to use or just one of the rooms? It was odd. The bathroom is so 1990s with a massive spa bath and there is peach, dark green and terracotta everywhere. Although the place is clean, I did not feel safe in my room and could hear others talking all night so didnt sleep either night.
- John (8/5): - A very enjoyable stay
- Honey (9/5): Superb -
- Kirsty (4/5): It was ok-ish. - Easy check in. Carpet in the room was very dirty. Rooster would crow and wake you up, spa in the pool wasn’t working. Whole accommodation needed a clean up and repair. Room had a funny smell.
- Glee (7/5): Good -
- Sue (6/5): - Would be fabulous for groups - the spaces and facilities are likely overwhelming for single travelers. Older property but clean below headheight. Potholed driveway could be interesting to navigate in the dark.
- Samrat (10/5): Very nice - Nice location No bottles water to drink.
- Brenda (8/5): Beautiful - loved the land, pond, the geese, chickens, pool ❤️ gardens. I loved the room and the community area was lovely I really enjoyed my stay and I will definitely stay again everything on the outside was ran down couldn't really sit on the pool deck the wood was old and rough. couldn't sit on any of the poolside chairs as there was so many spider webs was scared that the baby would be bitten, webs on the pool fence and chairs.
- Aliza (8/5): Very good - Thankyou again for another enjoyable stay!
- Xin (9/5): Superb -
- Renee (10/5): Host was great & enjoyed our stay - Great stay, super clean & friendly. Nil
- Johanne (8/5): Great for groups - Really nice property, perfect for a big group. We were a group of 6 and booked the whole house for the weekend. Everyone had their own room and there’s several common areas to use.
- Helena (7/5): It was quite, private and comfy bed - The property was in a great location to what we needed. It was spacious and private The property needed a clean up outdoors. In need of a bit TLC. Also air conditioners were not working and it was very cold
- Maryanne (5/5): Nice house but not worth the money, not particularly thrilled about having had to share the accommodation without being - Had really nice bathrooms, all with spa baths. House in general was quite nice. Had to share the house and this wasn’t advertised when we booked it, was a total surprise to be having to share the facilities. The hot water is hard to navigate. If you have a shower when someone else is using hot water your shower will be cold which is challenging in a shared house.
- Mary (4/5): Very average, expensive for what it offered. - The location and view There was no breakfast supplied and we booked it as we were on a 3 day seminar using Uber and breakfast was the main drawcard. The pool was unswimable, the fountain in the main advertising photo wasn't working, the place was run down. We tried to cancel our last night 5 days before and we were told there was no refund. The shared kitchen was set up well, but no salt and pepper, cooking oil or basics.
- Frank (8/5): It was ok. - Location and enviroment The shower door jambed (fowled with the head jamb)
Sharing kitchen etc.
- Knash (10/5): Luxury plus - We were visiting National parks in the area and only needed one night accommodation and chose this as it was close. I was travelling with a friend so needed 2 bedrooms/beds. However, she got sick so I went with my hubby. I suspect we got an upgrade. The owner was polite and very accommodating. We stayed in a luxurious apartment which was part of the unoccupied main house. The bathroom was incredible - spa, sauna, double sinks and showers, tv. Unfortunately it was such a short stay, we didn't fully use the facilities (or the lovely outdoor pool). We used a communal kitchen and had a massive bedroom, walk in robe and also there were 2 communal beautiful lounge areas, one with a piano. There were also 2 dining areas. Really a great place to stay. The microwave needed a good clean but this could have been the other people staying (who we never saw). Nothing else to complain about. Great value but we were given an upgrade so I am not sure what we would have stayed in or paid. Not for kids in this apartment but maybe in the cabins.
- Christopher (10/5): something different rather than staying in your average hotel - Great location in a rural setting Beautiful house and amazing French provincial style furniture
- Marcus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Debra (6/5): It was nice - View, fire places Stove was dirty, sauna didn’t work and hot water to spa was only hot if you turned it on a little. Marks on ceiling in bathroom in family suite. Mattress was not comfortable sitting on edge.
- Hayley (7/5): It was good, clean and comfortable. Probably won't stay again, however. - We thought it was a lovely house that we stayed in and were made aware that there was communal areas and other guests would not be in our section for that night. (all good) Having the host walk through the house constantly and do laundry and make other beds etc. (separate house to hosts' dwelling) late at night was a little unusual.
- Trenton (10/5): Exceptional -
- Petro (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Aliza (8/5): Very good -
- Hepperlin (9/5): Superb -
- Vicky (7/5): Good location, very quiet, reasonable accommodation for the area. - The location was good and was well away from the road so little noise. I was met by a very friendly dog. The room was a good size. No en-suite facilities. The decor is very dated and the carpet could do with a thorough clean.
- Angus (1/5): Very underwhelming and not as advertised. - When arriving at the property it was clear that the photos were not current. Entry driveway in very poor condition with large potholes, lawns very overgrown and external areas untidy and unkept.
There was no external lighting around the driveway and entry areas which made me concerned, particularly with the skinny bridge across the small pond area.
The pool area was also very untidy and overgrown, damaged fences and gates in disrepair.
After this intro, I found that the bedroom areas were not very appealing with shared bathrooms.
I couldn’t stay there and couldn’t recommend this based on my experience.
- 4x4 (8/5): Unique Experience - We loved the charm and character of not having plain white sheets, and the grounds not being in perfect repair. We loved the kindness and consideration of our hosts and we loved being able.to warm up in our own private sauna. We didn't like the dirty glass left in the sauna, the name neil that appeared on the glass when it fogged up, the ashtray full of cigarette buts on the outdoor table or having the heater turned off and our spare plastic bag removed from the communal kitchen/lounge area. No heater made the space very cold whilst preparing dinner and leaving us no bag to take remaining supplies from the fridge made packing up difficult.
Although, we would probably still stay there again, because having the sauna and accommodation charm.is rare. We will simply take some cleaning products to clean our space to our standard and not leave anything in the communal area.
- Melanie (10/5): Exceptional - The owner was lovely and very accommodating
- Chris (9/5): If you're after a comfortable value-for-money place to stay then look no further. - The owner & his wife couldn't do enough for us. Despite the torrential rain over the previous 2 days they were still able to provide clean accommodation & excellent service. I'll certainly be recommending this property to others. The driveway's hard to find at night.
- Paul (5/5): Nice place and people but needs a little work. - Hosts were very nice. The location for my needs was perfect. Was a little rundown upon entering, driveway cracked etc. The room was a good size but again a little tired with stained carpets. The common areas were nice but I didn’t use them. Shared bathroom was clean but would prefer to have my own.
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Raelene (9/5): Great spot. Would return for a longer stay. - Beautiful location and house. So much room Staff walking through at random times though they were very nice.
One of our bedrooms was not ready when we arrived after check in time.
- Bethany (10/5): Pleasant and enjoyable. - Great open common area with plenty of space. Property is dated compared to the photos.
- Marny (8/5): - Friendly staff who were very helpful.
- Tania (6/5): Amazing location but it needs maintenance - The staff and the location The carpet was dirty and old, needs more maintenance.
Jimmy is doing great job but he needs help with the big property. Should be good a toilet inside the room.
- Trevor (10/5): Great, friendly owners. - Nice and quiet. Very clean. Nothing
- Puzicha (9/5): Superb -
- Sheri (6/5): Great hosts thank you - Best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time - dead quiet and comfy bed NA
