Feifei (6/5): Can be improved - Private pool for the villa, spacious room, nice staff. 1. Limited facilities and activities. The resorts do not offer many activities. We booked their pricey massages and the quality is pretty bad. 2. Remote location, since resort doesn’t offer much we had to go far to find activities to do. 3. We had a private villa but there were people working in the field next to our pool. From time to time they would burn the crops.

Alun (10/5): Best place I’ve stayed with booking .com . Definitely return next year - If you want some where quiet to relax this is the place . The staff were unbelievable. So helpful. Breakfast was brought to the room every morning. The chef there was better than some of the top restaurants we went to in the city . They sorted a good quality motorcycle for us . Clayton (10/5): Amazing - Hard to put into words. The place is nested near a a UNESCO world heritage site (rice fields of Tabanan) and is incredibly beautiful. Staff is genuine with big smiles. So many adventures to be had in the surrounding area Distance from airport is an hour and a half
Arina (6/5): Pleasant - It is not as private as it was presented. People are constantly during this time (December - January) working on the fields with a lot of noise, starting at 6am, burning the fields and the burning could be smelled in the room + there is a road for bikes and locals use it all the time. We were so disappointed and decided to leave a villa for a week to travel the island, as this hotel was booked primarily for resting with having no civilization. In total, we stayed there round about 12 days instead of 22. You also should expect pretty high prices for everything (x2-x5), comparing to Denpasar, as there are nothing nearby, where you can go on foot.
Sumit (7/5): Good however can do better - The location was excellent. The breakfast waa amazing. The staff were exceptional. Nice living and spacious bedroom. Bathroom cud have been better closed with nets to avoid insects coming at night. The internet was super slow. TV is outdated and hardly of any use. Too many insects at night, however since it's on rice field and is open, it was acceptable. No hot water in the morning.

Rüdiger (10/5): Highly recommended for a relaxed getaway - Calm location with a nice view over the landscape down to the ocean. Villa with privacy and a spacious area to relax. The staff was super friendly, helpful in all matters and they offered an outstanding service. The food was excellent and delicious. We really enjoyed the opportunity that they deliver the food to our villa. Perfect location for a getaway of busy everyday live. Beach and supermarket are within 10-15min driving distance by scooter. Nothing to complain about!

Wei (7/5): Nice quiet place with beautiful views. - Service staff were very good, responsive and helpful. Breakfast and dinner portions were large. Especially liked the recommendation for the local lobster restaurant,, Tulus lobster, at a beautiful beach away from the crowds. Distance was rather far from attractions, the journey to the villa and to the airport took a long time due to traffic jams and narrow roads - definitely not so ideal for short getaway, as we spent too much time traveling, but suitable for those who want a really tranquil stay without visiting other attractions.

Lindsay (9/5): Amazing view and perfect spot to relax - We were blown away by the view when we first entered the villa. The dining area, pool, and living room area are all open air overlooking the rice fields. We had booked a one bedroom but when we realized that our villa actually had two, we were able to have the second room opened for a reasonable nightly rate. All meals were delivered to our room and set up for us at the dining table. The staff was very friendly. Just a note: in the pictures it seems like there is a large "main pool" in addition to the private villa pools. (Many resorts we stayed in have been like this.) Here, the large pools that you see in the pictures actually belong to the larger villa complexes. That just meant that we only had access to our pool (which was lovely and bigger than expected!). The restaurant (also the reception and open kitchen) did not have much atmosphere (and I think there were few guests at the time we were there, so no people eating either). We opted to have all of our meals delivered to our room because of this. So with no common areas or common pool & an uninviting restaurant, we spent all of our time in our own villa. Which was great since it was so nice and the was the relaxing part of our trip, but just something to be aware of. I probably would have stayed 2 nights instead of 3.
Claudia (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing friendly staff, beautiful villa with large sitting/dining area outside and a pool with fantastic views over the rice fields and ocean. The food was excellent and very fresh. We loved the location, away from everything. It is a great spot to relax for a couple of days. There is not much to do in the area and it is best to have your own car. We loved it, but if you want to see and do stuff, it is not the right area.

I loved the idea of how they supply an tablet for our villa that has a heap of information on it and whats app connected to them so we can message then about anything or wanting bookings. When we ordered food and got it delivered to our villa they’re always so quick. I absolutely loved this stay! N/A

The menu had both local and international cuisines and we tried a lot of different dishes, all excellent! Highly recommend the seafood choices Staff: manager Arthur was great. He and the team were incredibly friendly and helpful. Service was excellent. My partner had felt unwell (from the heat) during our stay, and the staff showed great concern and helped us to purchase medicine at very early hours of the morning Location: similar to other comments, location is remote. However, that was what we were looking for. It was so peaceful and quiet with access to a private pool. Made a great ending of our trip to Bali Facilities: spacious rooms with a lot of thought put into the design. Beautiful view of the rice fields and ocean, especially over sunset Hot water was a bit temperamental, mainly due to strong winds during our stay that tampered with the temp control Would recommend: - offering free transfers to/from nearby sites, eg local beach - having an emergency first aid kit on site, for the benefit of staff and customers

Anonymous (3/5): just ok - The staff was responsive and attentive. it was a quiet location Most of the things the facility promised kite making etc did not happen because of unavailability. it is far from every tourist location so you have to drive up around 1.5 hours to go anywhere. the drivers employed are overpriced and not knowledgable about the place at at all. It is hard to keep a family entertained here.

Claresta (6/5): Pleasant - it has a great paddy field view, villa is spacious, great hospitality from the staffs, and fast response to guest requests. 2 hours drive from airport, and if you travel at night, the road is dark and has difficult driving access. there were so many insects, bee, centipedes inside and outside the villa. swimming pool ground and water are dirty. also me and my husband got bitten by bed bugs when staying at the villa.

Anonymous (10/5): we had a great getaway - we love love the property, it was peaceful and beautiful. being one in quiet and nature. food are excellent and the best part were the people. every staff were super nice and welcoming, they even came to surprise me on my birthday. it really the true Balinese hospitality:) not a minus for us the property is away from everything, you need to arrange your own way of transport like scooter but staying in is also great!

Verified traveler (4/5): Bad experience! - When we arrived at the hotel they did not have our booking in their system and looked very surprised to see anyone there. We were the only guests at the entire hotel, but they still did not have a room available for us at 3.30pm when we arrived. We got our room at 4.30pm but was told we should wait 1 hour with using the private pool as they had just put in the chlorine. The rooms are a bit messy and dusty. We actually went there to look for a potential wedding venue, the people we were supposed to meet with never showed up - despite of them confirming via email that we had a booking and that they would meet us. Quite a bad experience and definitely not a place I would entrust to hold a +20k USD wedding. Plus, the hotel is in the middle of no where.

The hotel driver, Made, drove us to wherever we needed to go and gave us a great tour of the area, so definitely ask for him at reception if you need to travel around!

Umar (10/5): - Our stay in Alami was superb. Tucked deep in the rice padi fields, the location of the stay was about two hours drive away (consider traffic and all) from the hustle and bustle of the touristy districts of Seminyak, Kuta etc. And that's why it makes it perfect if you're looking to have a relaxing peace of mind and stay, and privacy. We arrived late in the evening at 10pm, but hospitality service from the team led by Desi was top notch welcoming us and the restaurant was quick to prep us sumptuous late dinner. The villa was well designed, balancing between contemporary and vernacular details. Rooms were clean, spacious and well maintained. You may experience some bugs - but considering we are out in the padi field, you should be expecting nature's calls and visits. Communication was made easy with the tablet provided - all breakfast/in room dining/resort & room info can be found in the tablet, and communication was made through WhatsApp. There are couple of activities i.e bikes for rent at 90k for a day to ride through the local villages and down to the beach. If you don't intend to move about in Bali and doing a low key vacation, Alami is highly recommended. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, only wish that we could stay longer.
Jiayao (8/5): Gorgeous villa, but not convenient. - The villa and everything is definitely a wow. That’s all the upsides. Staffs are great, they try their best to help you. They give you a coconut as a welcome drink. Awesome! Lots of activities available if you book with hotel. During the day it’s gorgesous, but a bit problematic for me at night. I should’ve thought about this with the open air setting, it comes a many insects. A price to pay if you want to enjoy a Balinese villa, there’s also bats flying under the roof and leaving in a second. It’s almost impossible to get around unless you hire hotel contract drivers. Internet is spotty. Kitchenette is not very well cleaned. Not enough hot water so cannot take a bath at the beautiful bathroom tub. The hot water runs cold after a few mins.
