• Alan (4/5): - Not at all like the pictures. Internet was awful. No fridge, bed was hard, one sheet, no blanket or comforter, coffee was instant, water was brackish, a lot of poverty, tried to put in awful room and shared bathroom, door fell off when I went to use it, paid for an ‘upgrade’ to have my own bathroom. Window in bathroom wouldn’t close. Go to one of the other hotels.

Baustelle, schmierig, haufenweise Fliegen auf dem Tisch beim sehr einfach Frühstück. Wasser für Tee lauwarm. Einzig Lage direkt am Wasser ist gut.

• Verified traveler (2/5): - The room smelled like bug spray, and sure enough we saw a big cockroach in there, the bathroom was dirty, the only good thing were the beds, they are big. I’d say if you want to be more comfortable spend a little bit more and go to Buena Vida, it’s much better.

• Sharee (4/5): Disappointing - We stayed in the Presidents room as we wanted to pamper ourselves after having food poisoning for days. We chose this hotel because of the location and the pool. If the Presidents room is upmarket, we would hate to see the rest of the rooms. The toilet didn't flush sometimes, the shower wasn't hot sometimes, the light switches sometimes didn't work and many of the plugs in the room didn't work. The deck facing the sea was great and so was the pool. Day 1 we ordered sandwiches by the pool to be told 15 minutes later they had no bread. The next day there was no bacon for breakfast. The following day, no bananas (in Philippines, really??) You can find a lot better accommodation that this for a lot less on this island!

No water, the pot is not working, no towel available. I understand if the hotel is busy. But nobody there. Food is terrible:(. We didn't stay for the full 3 days left early and we gave away the coupon for breakfast. Food is terrible.

However, the accommodation is very not good and unpleasant because they downgrade the room accommodation from deluxe to native without our consent with a very lame excuses and the staff are not accommodating. I definitely will not book again in this resort. I hope they will give excess money back.

• Mark (8/5): Very freindly staff, trusting people. On the beach - It's on a small island so not all is perfect like the salt water shower and running water from the ocean. But the island, beach throughout is so beautiful and well worth it to come here.
• rita (2/5): Das hat Masche und betrügerische Züge - Wir wurden erst mal in ein Zimmer mit ca. 10 qm verfrachtet: kein Schrank, kein Stuhl und vor allem KEIN BAD!! Da es sich um die "Budget" Variante handele. Wäre so gebucht. Gegen einen saftigen Aufpreis erhielten wir ein Zimmer mit gleicher "Aussattung" aber so etwas, was Bad genannt wurde: mit dem Duschschlauch hat man den winzigen Raum geflutet und die Toilette war defekt und mit Eimer und Schöpfkelle zu bedienen! Ich kenne so etwas durchaus aus einem Thailand Urlaub. In entlegeneren Regionen keine Seltenheit. Allerdings war hier zum einen der (nicht funktionierende) Spülkasten vorhanden sind und zum anderen der Preis alles andere als angepasst. Unserer Meinung nach, war es Masche nur Fotos vom Hotel zu zeigen, um dann nur noch Jugendherbergs-Style Zimmer zu haben...
• Isabelle (8/5): Prisvärt! - Trevlig personal! Bra beläget på bounty beach, nära till det lilla som finns på ön :) Trist frukost, men det går att beställa till vad man vill ha. Wifi fungerar ibland. Fräsch pool och hotellet har gratis solstolar på stranden precis utanför. Rekommenderas för priset. Rummen är små men trevliga.

• Rasmus (2/5): disappointing - we first arrived and got a small room with a shared bathroom and water on the floor. upon complaining we were told that they were aware that the rooms on that side had water issues and they git regular complaints on the misguiding pictures on hotels.com. We got another room, same size. when inspecting the room, the water had sand all over and used cue tip. they didnt have any uuogrades available for the first night but we decided to upgrade the night after. we then had to pay the full walk-in price for an upgrade to a room w private bathroom. the place comes off as they know exactly whst theyre doing and dont mind it. who tells their customes that theyre aware of water coming in and still give them that room..??
• Nico (6/5): It's ok if you pay for the best room - The pictures shown on the description are the most expensive ones, so I was very disappointed when I got to my room, also the room was full of ants. For less money I would have stayed in a better place.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Great rooms! Nice pool! - Our room is really good and spacious, the ambiance of the resort is good for relaxation and chilling. All rooms are fronting in their nice pool which is a plus points. But we experienced slow service in their resto/dining. Crews need coordination among themselves to give the guests a good and fast service.
• Zyra Seb (4/5): - The hotel itself was pretty good and cozy.but what we didnt liked about are the crews,im pretty sure they are untrained crews.and the lady that they so called ma'am indae.shes very very annoying to me.I dont know what is she in the hotel,but I didnt like how she was to us.very uncorteous,and not to mention noticing that she shows everybody that shes the boss,even to us guests.she have a "big mouth".we were lucky coz at our 2nd day the owner was around that everybody and everything was well taken care of.but on the next day they (owner) left,crews became sluggish,utensils are very dirty,no consistent fruits served,and Indae the big mouth made soooo much blablabla,yet things still remains the same.but ill recommend the hotel anyway,but still im not happy with service.

• Donna (2/5): Poor service - Poor service! Not worth the money you are paying for! We stayed at malapascua budget inn and they already told us that tv was spoilt. They told us they will transfer us pn the next day but didnt happened. Aircon was very dirty. Got remote control at bedside but no battery. Bedsheets was very thin and bed was uncomfortable to sleep.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Overnight of March 2016 - I was surprise with the room the hotel gave us because it was not the kind of room I have expected to have booked having seen a different picture in the website when I booked it even though it says "native" room. There were quite a number of mosquitoes inside the room because there was an opening in the windows which was merely covered with curtains. My friends and I enjoyed the swimming pool because it was clean and warm. I hope not all but on that particular day, waitresses in the restaurant seems to be more attentive to foreign customers than to Filipino tourists.
• Michael (2/5): Not good. - Found the place under ongoing renovation/construction. This was not communicated at time of booking. Returned from dive around 8 pm and there was no water in my apartment until next morning :( No shower! hole in wall covered with a paper and tape. Plus: No aircon all night ( as the remote control was missing). No personell to help with these issues until the morning when I got offered another room 39 minutes before checkout. On checkout they insisted on keeping my funds/discount was denied! Asked for director or marketing manager but not available to discuss. Was told to send email which I did.- I never got a reply. Ah, breakfast area was directly adjacent to construction with hammering and dust flying on your plate. I cannot recommend to stay in this place unfortunately.
