Guest Reviews
- Marika (10/5): - I recently had the pleasure of staying at Riad Rêve d'Or in Marrakech, and it was truly an outstanding experience. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional service provided by Mohamed, Amina, and Ayoub. Their warmth, helpfulness, and genuine care made my visit unforgettable.
Mohamed was incredibly attentive and made sure all my needs were met with a smile. Amina's hospitality and kindness were evident in every interaction, making me feel right at home. Ayoub was always available to assist with any requests and offered valuable insights into the local area.
The riad itself was a beautiful oasis of tranquility amidst the bustling city. The rooms were comfortable and elegantly decorated, and the common areas provided a perfect spot to relax and unwind.
Overall, my stay at Riad Rêve d'Or exceeded all expectations, thanks largely to the wonderful team. I highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakech.
- Sandeep (2/5): - we Arrived at the property 8pm in the night, and the person at the reception said they gave our room to the walk in customer and said talk to expedia, we tool a taxi from the airport that cost us money plus in middle of night we had no were to go with the family, it took us another 4 hours to find a property for stay and plus more hassel and money, they ruined our holiday, talking to expedia they just refunded the money and said sorry, no one cared for us , it was too stressful, make sure think twice to book this hotel. i will never use this hotel again.
- Irene (2/5): - The property is nice but shower was not working , the water does not drain, it was a mess, wake up call by clerk did not work and i loss my train , would not stay there again , hell no.
- hatim (10/5): - The calming atmosphere jacuzzi breakfast and the staff
J'ai envoyé plusieurs messages à madame Amina pour me faire rembourser

- Ebone (8/5): First time in Marrakech - The location was great and the room was really pretty and clean very well. It is a bit tough to find the Riad in the Médina so they really should have instructions on how to get to their location because you cannot find it by looking at the GPS. The the guy host talked a lot but the female host was pleasant.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - - no 24h reception, not during the day and either not in the evening (we waited twice for quite a while in front of the door)
- breakfast supposed to start at 8 according to hotel booklet, however was never ready before 9 which especially annoying when u have a day tour planned
- jacuzzi pool looked super dirty and for sure not used for months (mai)
- breakfast was astonishing simpel, with some microwave pancakes
- one guy was running the hotel, reception, breakfast which was not enough to serve all the guests
- the pool inside the hotel was filled with water Full of insects and quite small and super cold
-room with bathroom is basically a tiny room with a Toilette in a corner
-shower pipes stuck
- poor value for price ratio
- hamzi qayyum (6/5): Nice, but too small - The room we had was very small, and toilets were just divided by a wall.
Staff was very friendly, muhammad was really good. We went for a spa, and its recommended by the hotel, when we got there the spa charged us double of what we should pay (as usual, you will often get conned in marakesh). Then the hotel lady and muhammad called them back and got our money back. Service is superb. A proper riad.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wunderschönes Riad, tolle Ausstattung und sehr angenehmes Personal. Ideale Lage zur Erkundung der Medina. Immer wieder sehr gerne.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Location is great!!! Walking distance to the main tourist attractions. The staff are amazing and help. The best hospitality.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Old stylish room and a good breakfast 😁But I would like to take a bath in jacuzzi in the evening and the water was cold , the thing the riad don t have to say that they have one doesn't work because it s very bad for the reputation for the future .. And I hope they understand what I m saying 😉
- A (6/5): - Authentic Riad in the midst of the Medina. Easy to reach (and to find!) in the maze that are the souks. Only a 9 minute walk from the biggest square and a 5 minute walk from the nearest exit of the Old Town. Beautiful room with amazingly comfortable bed. The rooftop terrace is cosy but could do with some more light fittings. They provide hamam and massages on site which was lovely.
- Joyce (8/5): Decent Riad - Good place to stay. Decent breakfast and friendly staff.
- MsCassBee (8/5): - This is a great property in the Medina and the staff are lovely. There were a few concerns I have tho. When we arrived their seemed to be an issue with our Expedia booking. They offered us some mint tea while we waited which was appreciated. Our room was located on the top floor right next to the terrace. This was lovely until we had people partying up there past midnight one evening when we had a early morning flight to get to. You could hear everything as the windows opened up to the terrace. The breakfast was a typical morrocan breakfast of breads and jams with coffee, tea and OJ. The lobby area is gorgeous! One night coming back around 10pm the neighbours were having quite the fight and the one lady was screaming and screaming (she was mad) and she slammed the door right as we were walking up to our riad which made us feel unsafe. Then our 2nd night we waited 30 minutes to get into the riad after ringing the doorbell non stop and knocking non stop because the attendant was mingling with the guests on the rooftop terrace. There has to always be someone there to let you in and out. There is no access for guests to go as they please. This is great for security however in our case very upsetting as we couldn’t get back in.
- Hasan (10/5): - Amazingly friendly staff. Great location if you want to be in Old town.
- K (6/5): - The people who worked there were very sweet & helpful, and for me the best part of my stay. It's in a great & very central location. The room was pretty but very small, much smaller than it looked in the picture. Breakfast was very minimal but when I asked for eggs they made them for me.
- Deborah (10/5): Wonderful stay at Riad Reve D'or!! - Tucked neatly in the Marrakech Medina is the Riad Reve D'or. We were enthralled from the time we entered until the day we left!
The room was amazing, clean, tidy & authentically designed & decorated. The staff were amazing - even helped us celebrate my daughters' birthday. Amina, the manager, was able to provide information on local sites to visit, the best place to go to change our currency. She was also able to arrange a couple of excursions for us - we went camel riding and quad biking.
The staff at Riad Reve D'or made our stay in Marrakech magical and we hope to definitely go back there soon!
Thank you to Amina and the team xx
- Verified traveler (10/5): - They were nice and very friendly. Safari trip we booked with them was excellent.
- Tjasa (10/5): Perfect Riad in Medina - Great staff, very nice and helpful, beautiful ambient, location just a few steps from attractions in Medina. The best thing was the roof with tent and jacuzzi!
- tom (8/5): Very nice if one is traveling light - It was hard to find just like all of them in Marrakech. It’s a great place to stay as long as one does not have lots of luggages like us as the rooms are a bit tight.
Wonderful people and easy access to the shops and al Fina.
Breakfast was delicious, plenty of coffee and juices. Cozy
Staff will cater to whatever one needs.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location - This location is great. It’s so close to jaame El fnaa but at the same time at the edge of t so it’s not so noisy. We walked everywhere. The farthest we walked was to Jardin Majorelle (30 mins). We didn’t think we needed any tours because we could walk everywhere! There was miscommunication about airport pickup and they wanted us to move rooms 3 days after we had settled in but they figured it out when we refused to move!. We took the bigger room on the ground floor. It was noisy in the mornings because of breakfast and we didn’t think we had enough privacy. People were literally sitting outside our door. The other rooms seemed to be too small though.
- Henry (10/5): Perfect Riad in the heart of Medina! - This Riad is a perfect gem off a side street in the heart of the Medina part of Marrakech. The riad hosts were super friendly and made our group feel welcomed. It truly seemed like an authentic experience of a riad vs a commercialized one. The riad was very clean and well organized, even has a roofdeck with cabanas, tables and a hot tub! The breakfasts served by the hosts are amazing and authentic. Just minutes walk from the main attractions of Marrakech. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great Moroccan experience.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great hotel, close to all attractions. - Overall experience was great! Staff is really nice and helpful. Room was really pretty but just a bit on the small side so it was a little tight with our 2 suitcases. Very clean room but shower is a bit messy since there's no curtain so everything gets wet.
- Radu-Florin (8/5): Great position, decoration, customer service - Our stay was good overall, rooms were very stylish decorated, service was excellent, positioning very good, but the bottled water was not included as the site says, only the first bottle included and the others overpriced, they tell you that at the end, part of the Riad was in renovation and there was a lot of dust and noise, the three person room was very crowded and did not worth the extra charge.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great staff and location - Great staff. Very friendly and helpfull. I loved the Riad and the neighbourhood. Probably not so easy to find on arrival so I booked airport pick up. But really well located in the Medina.
- HL (10/5): Very pleasant and friendly hotel - hidden treasure - People at the hotel were so very friendly, and the location was very convenient. Daily breakfast and dinner there one night were very delicious. Decorations at the hotel are very nice. It's nice that there are just a few rooms although the hotel is in the process of expanding with a pool and spa in the back. The place is especially good for adult travelers - either single or double; not suitable for children or people with physical disabilities.
- Hilary (8/5): - Hard to find at first,down an alley,but dafe
Very hospitable. Breakfast good Moroccan style. Rooms all clean with toiletries.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Marrakech visit - Very good hotel close to the market in Marrakech. Nice Moroccan decorations. Walking distance from everything you want to visit.
- Sarah (10/5): Friendly Riad in the Mouassine - Small Riad, tastefully decorated and located in the Mouassine part of the Medina. Lovely roof terrace with hot tub.
- K A (10/5): Lovely riad in Medina - Lovely guesthouse in a great location in the Medina. Easy walk to both the square and the street. Both the room and the riad were beautifully decorated - exactly what you would hope for on a Moroccan vacation. Amina was a wonderful host, very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend and I would stay again.
- meera (10/5): Eberything within walking distance - Amazing place to stay, always fresh juice and cold bottled water available. Staff have drivers available for you at anytime of the day for anywhere you would need to go. They offer excursions at discounted prices. Have already booked next visit here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent Service - The Hotel was in the side streets of the Medina. Cars are not accessible so its a 2-3 min walk from the main road. Once we entered the hotel we were welcomed by the hotel manager Amina and Abdullahi. They were both so welcoming and we felt at ease as soon as we walked in. We were informed of the area and the different sites to visit by Amina and were recommended places to eat. The Hotel is at the beginning of the main square Jama-el-Fina. It is a 5min walk to the Main square where all the stalls are. The hotel itself is very nicely decorated in the traditional Moroccan theme. The rooms are also nice. Breakfast on the roof top is excellent. The staff at the hotel made it a truly wonderful experience as they went out of their way to help us. Especially when we wanted to buy some argon oil. Thanks AMINA and ABDULLAHI
- Clare (10/5): Luxurious little hideout... - The team - Amena, Abdul, the cook and our driver and guide Ishan were all really helpful...
Everyone is so welcoming and warm, we loved our second visit to Marrakech and will definitely return here.
- Minani (10/5): Fantastic Stay in the Medina - Beautifully decorated raid in a great location - only a walk away from the souks and 5 mins away from Jemaa El-Fna square. The hospitality was phenomenal, thanks to Abdul and Amina. My husband and I recommend Riad Reve d'Or highly if one wishes to experience the real people and the B&B type of stay.
- haley (10/5): Everything was perfect!! - Amina and Abdul were wonderful hosts from the moment we arrived till check out. The Riad itself was beautiful and authentic and with only 5 rooms the place is quiet and perfect for relaxing. The food prepared for us each day was delicous. We loved it so much after spending another night at a different Riad we cancelled our booking to return to Riad Reev D'or as it didn't compare ! Great price, location and hospitality. Must stay here !!
- Nisreen (8/5): Perfect location! - We stayed here for 3 nights in February, and had a wonderful time. The staff were attentive to our needs, and made good recommendations about what to do whilst we were there. The owner was also there whilst we were visiting, and she made us feel very welcome and treated us to some complimentary mint tea! I would recommend this riad particularly for its location- its a 5 min walk from the medina, as well as lots of little shops nearby. The Ben Youssef madrassah is also a short distance away, as is the Kuttubiyah masjid.
- Anjali Y N T (2/5): Avoid - You have to walk 1 km from the road to reach the hotel. No where on the website is that mentioned. The entrance is so dilapidated, it is as f you are walking into a ruin of a building. You feel so unnerved and unsafe all through while there. The rooms are just big enough for the bed. no place to walk. No facility for food. It is not fit enough for backpackers and they call themselves 4 star.
- Sophie (10/5): great riad in good location - We really enjoyed our stay in Riad Reve d'Or. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Only slight criticism is that there wasn't enough space in the room to store the suitcase. But it wasn't a big deal for us. We especially enjoyed our breakfasts on the roof terrace. Riad Reve d'Or is in a great location only 5-10 minutes walk to the main square, close to the souks and near some nice restaurants. Thanks for a lovely stay.
