Angenehm ruhig, ni - Perfekte Lage – nahe bei Kerkyra, mit vielen Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und dem Strand (Playa) direkt in der Nähe. Kleine Küche, Ausstattung ausbaufähig.

We love Barbati - plenty to offer whilst a bit lower key than some other nearby destinations - which suits us perfectly. Locanda is our favourite - set back but convenient. We've been returning again and again for several years - and hope to return many more.

Georgia è stata molto gentile e disponibile, anche nel consigliare visite e locali/ristoranti da frequentare. Punto comodo anche per visitare il monte Pantokrator, ottimo punto panoramico, meta assolutamente da non perdere La colazione è servita a bordo piscina in una bella location e con personale molto gentile. La varietà, sia dolce che salata, può essere migliorata. Le camere vengono riassettate solo a giorni alterni, cosa che in una struttura di un certo livello rappresenta un limite. Anche la posizione in salita può rappresentare un limite per chi ha problemi di mobilità.

Everything is spotless and alot of thought put into it. You can have. Relaxed breakfast by the pool, bar food until 3pm, supermarket en site. I noticed alot of couples who were touring the island by car staying here, and actually deciding to use it as a base then, not wanting to leave 🙂 The location is up a steep hill. However Barbati itself is at the bottom of a large mountain, so expect that.

Apartments are modern, very clean. Staff are so helpful, friendly. Breakfast was far better than expected with variety every day. We toured the island and Barbati beach is one of the best. We would have liked x2 pillows each and a thin bed cover as just a sheet is too cold but then I never asked and I’m sure if I did they would have obliged. We made sure the AC was not too powerful as it’s very efficient.

We absolutely loved everything, Georgia and her team were all so friendly, everywhere was spotlessly clean and the views are just amazing. Breakfast was delicious with a real effort made to offer something to please all tastes. The pool was fantastic and the sun beds were incredibly comfortable. There are plenty of really good tavernas to choose from, all within walking distance and the beach was great too. Yes, there is a hill to climb up to get back but you know that when you book and without the hill the views would not be so wonderful! We really hope to return. Thanks again from Sally and Rob. Having to leave!
• Jacques-olivier (9/5): A nice place to rest in Corfu that I would recommend. - The apartment was modern, well organised, with a private and shaded terrasse and a nice view on the sea. Breakfast was varied and tasty, with greek specialties as well as standard continental breakfast. Swimming pool was great with a wonderful scenery. The place is close to restaurants and a supermarket is just at the door of the place.
• Andrejs (9/5): Comfortable hotel with great views - Facilities and hotel area looked fresh, clean and new! The views around are great too. Room is specious with a very comfortable shower and amazing balcony. The pool was very nice too, although we prefer swimming and sunbathing at the seashore. There is a great small beach if you go down to the main road from the hotel and then enter the beach through the Skala restaurant. The beach has some natural shade and also sunbeds for rent. We were in July and the water there was really warm compared to places like Paleokastritsa. There are also quite nice restaurants on the main road close to the hotel. In general, the area felt like a bit more luxurious. The hotel wasn’t particularly cheap, so we expect more food variety for breakfast, which was good anyway. Also there were quite many annoying wasps during the breakfast despite staff attempts to fight them off with burning coffee. Note that hotel is located on a steep hill, so elderly people might have some discomfort there.

• Janko (10/5): Great Host and appartment - Georgia is super kind host, we had late or early arrival at 01:00 am and she waited for us, even helped to organise taxi to pick us up from the Airport (price was 50 Eur). Big and spaceous family two bedroom apartment with big terrace that had everything we needed. Breakfast was versatile and delicious. And the Pool is fantastic, clean. Everything is better than on the pictures. Renting a car is almost a must, because it is located uphill with a nice sea view. Just book, you wont regret it. Nothing

• Julyan (10/5): A perfect location. Great staff. Will definitely be revisiting. - We liked everything about Locanda. The peace and calm of the location. The views. The incredibly friendly staff (all of them including Georgia, the two cafe ladies, the lovely lady who was cleaning and non stop). Our apartment was perfect. All facilities excellent. The apartments are at the top of a hill well away from the main road about 100 metres below. A perfect small supermarket is contained just under and down from the cafe and pool area so easy for water and drinks and snacks. Clean pool. Shower and WC there. Amazing breakfasts. Buffet. Loads of delicious homemade foods. Coffee, tea, juice etc. We wanted somewhere to get away from the real world for 5 nights. Just perfect for us. We were husband and wife and two daughters 19 and 21. The girls loved it. We had room 110 which is a two bedroom apartment with a brilliant shower, kitchen and good air conditioning and essential mesh on all windows and door. We were just opposite the pool and cafe area but had privacy from a private side veranda. The beach walk took 10 mins for an early morning 7.30am swim each day. Buffet breakfast from 8-10.30am. Cafe stays open until 7pm. Drinks and snacks can be purchased (with cash I think so just check that). There is also a nice little Panorama cafe for a cold 500ml of draught Mythos just half way down the hill to the road. Take care on the main road with young children. All in all a fantastic trip. Georgia kindly organised a very friendly taxi chap called George to take us on our return to the airport for 45€. Barbati beach is wonderful for sea swimming and relaxing. A good mix of ages and locals and visitors. For the youngsters seeking noise and other attractions the go to Ipsos. We shall certainly return in 2024 in May or September. Thank you. Nothing. It was all good, hence the 10 rating.

• Saffia (9/5): Nice place with a great host! - The property was located on top of a hill. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable, with a nice view and balcony! Georgia was just lovely and so hospitable. Rest of the staff were also very kind The property was quite uphill, it also had different areas of the hotel located in different parts, for example some rooms were slightly further up and so going down for breakfast one had to go downhill to the pool area. Slightly older people and people with disabilities may struggle as it was quite steep. I also thought it was quite expensive for what it offered but we stayed here as we were meeting some friends in a villa near by and the location worked!

• Nigel (9/5): Lovely apartment and a spectacular location in Barbati. - Lovely apartment and pool/bar area with a spectacular view over the bay and the mountain right behind. We stayed fior a week in early August and we impressed by the well-appointed and modern apartment (ours was two bedrooms, separate airco in both), everything super-clean. Very comfortable beds. The balcony was full width of the appartment and accessible from booth bedrooms, with the great view,. We rented car and use Barbati as base to for some day trios e..g Corfu town, Kasiopi, Avlaki beach and Agios Stephanos. Several restaurants in easy walking distance on the Barbarti main “street”. Staff were all very friendly and helpful Nothing really.

All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely fresh homemade buffet breakfast served in pool area each morning. Poolside bar snacks/lunches also very good which we ate either by the pool or on our balcony. Accommodation all extremely well maintained and very comfortable. Poolside beds the best I’ve ever laid upon.! Nothing I didn’t like about the property itself and whilst the short five minute steep uphill walk each evening was tiring it was worth it for the views.

• Hyulya (10/5): An amazing place to stay in Corfu! - Our host was simply amazing - Georgia! Such a lovely lady - she makes you feel at home, not in a hotel. Very friendly, smiling and helpful. The hotel was very clean and quiet, a perfect place to have a rest. Comfy beds, amazing view from our balcony, cozy room with all you need. The pool was ny daughter's favourite - the first days the sea water was a bit cold and the pool was a great game changer. We loved the breakfast - it was delicious and the quality of all products was great. The location of the hotel was perfect for us - very close to tge beach and just 25-30 mins away from Kerkyra. It was our first time in Corfu but definitely won't be last :) To be honest everything was perfect! But I can mention two things that are actually improvement ideas - the first one is the missing mosquito net from the doors, there was one only in the bath window. The hotel is located in the nature and you can't leave the doors open due to having some mosquitos and orher insects coming to your room :) The second one is that you're not allowed to bring food/drinks to the pool from outside. That's fair enough but there's plenty of stuff that my daughter wanted to try and simply wanted to eat around the pool - traditional greek stuff - cookies, doghnuts etc. Stuff that the hotel pool bar was not offering - so we needed to go to our room and then come back.
• Hermione (9/5): Beautiful few days in Barbati - Run by lovely people. Great communication prior to the stay and flexible with check in. Absolutely beautiful location with amazing pool - not too many people were there during our few days stay and so often had the pool all to ourselves or just 1 or 2 other couples. Many great nearby restaurants and beach only in walking distance (although hilly) - highly recommend hiring a boat. There is a bus stop at the end of the road (about 30-45min bus to corfu town). ATM also very close by, although our exchange rate was awful so potentially worth getting cash out before. Our room was kept in wonderful condition (cleaned every other day). We didn't use the kitchen facilities, other than the fridge but it looked well equipped. Only regret, we couldn't stay longer. Thank you Georgia and team! My initial impression of breakfast on the first day was a little disappointing and they didn't provide any decaffeinated tea or coffee. Being pregnant this was quite frustrating however 2 days into our stay they provided a decaff coffee for me which they had bought in specially - this was a nice touch and made up for the initial disappointment. The AC was a little temporamental but that may have just been us. As beautiful as the pool was it was only supposed to be used between 10am and 6pm which meant sadly you couldn't make the most by an early or late swim if you were out for the day. Equally the bar next to the pool often closed early afternoon so you had to provide your own drinks/snacks ( although easily bought from the supermarket next door). I suspect during peak season it may be open longer. Despite the above, still an amazing stay and would highly recommend.

I loved my stay here, the staff are extra friendly and helpful, the apartment is clean and has stunning views from the balcony. View: Great view of the ocean from the balcony Hospitality: Georgia was absolutely lovely from receiving us close to midnight and letting us check-out much later than standard time. Her hospitality made our stay exceptionally pleasant, especially since we got to sleep in late and enjoy a full day of beach on check-out day.

The apartment was well equipped with everything (fridge etc.), the pool was awesome and the atmosphere was always relaxing and quiet. A supermarket and great restaurants are nearby, a beach is very close which was beautiful and not that crowded. The staff (bar, cleaning, owner) work as a great team and always do their best to make the vacation perfect. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest!
