- Amanda (10/5): A beautiful property. - It's a really lovely property. The owners have really utilised the space perfectly. It was super clean and has everything necessary for a wonderful stay. We particularly liked that there's a toilet upstairs and then a toilet and separate bathroom downstairs.
The location is great, too.
I highly recommend this beautiful little place.
- Craig (10/5): - Great location Nothing
- Lisa (9/5): Comfortable and cosy, good location. -
- Paul (8/5): Good value. Friendly host. Quiet. Charming location. - No breakfast provided but the host did give us a bottle of milk (& biscuits) on arrival so we could make tea & coffee.
We brought our own supplies but I think there were a few teabags in the kitchen.
Parking right outside the door - very convenient. Beds comfortable. Host advised us of a good place to eat locally - it was a good tip. Because it's a quirky old building, it's a little bit cramped - mind your head as you go up & down the stairs! My cousin banged her head numerous times. I did once - not painful!
- Mark (10/5): -
- Roslyn (10/5): - It was an usually place to stay, fully equipped and I loved the layout, ideal for a family. There was nothing to dislike, very comfortable.
- Victoria (6/5): I’m sorry, while it did the job, it wasn’t great. ☹️ - Location was nice Honestly, the place wasn’t veryclean and stunk of mildew. It felt really unloved and the kids were quite scared of the barking dogs by the end of the four days.
- matt (10/5): -
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heaton (8/5): Very good -
- Brian (7/5): Good -
- James (10/5): A great place to stay on the edge of Lincolnshire Wolds -
- Ian (4/5): Disappointing stay - Convenient location, comfortable beds Overall cleanliness was not good enough. Tiles and windowsill in kitchen were greasy, floors were not clean, bath had hair in it, carpets needed a hoover and shower curtain was very mouldy. Fingerprints on internal doors. The bannister was a hazard - not fastened properly to the wall. A spindle at the top of the stairs was also loose.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keith (7/5): It was OK for the money. - Location and price were good but the place needs a bit of work. It was spotlessly clean and there is parking for 1 car. Milk in the fridge was a nice touch along with the cookies. Nice walk into town. Neither pubs were doing food so we went to the Jolly Frier chippy for a takeaway. Absolutely first class. Short drive into skegness nice independent shops and loads of eateries. Can't really crab the place for the money. To be fair it was OK.
- Josh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dan (7/5): Good - Good parking, practical space, very good value for money. We were working in Mablethorpe, 3 of us, and it was absolutely perfect for that.
The town itself is a cracking place. Friendly, good pubs, picturesque old small town. Could be a keysafe and easier access to keys, but other than that it was spot on and very good value.
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (9/5): Superb - Nice cozy spot, lovely and warm despite the frigid day outside. Clean and convenient would recommend.
- Diane (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (9/5): Great little apartment. - The accommodation is in a great location for exploring the town and neaeby coast. It was well appointed, comfortable, cosy, and warm.
The cookies and fresh milk were a very nice and welcome touch.

- Kayleigh (9/5): Lovely stay would highly recommend and hope to come back. - The cottage was adorable and inviting. We fell in love with it from the moment we pulled up on the driveway. Would love to stay again. Great having a park across the road for children.
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional -
- Donna (10/5): Exceptional - Everything we needed- thank you
Tea coffee milk and kids loved the biscuits!
- Caroline (9/5): Relaxing stay and would book again - parking has improved - I liked the decor and felt like home from home I’m not the best at parking and allocated parking a bit tight if you have a big car.
- Paul (10/5): Always feel welcome, always a fresh pint of milk in the fridge along with tea/coffee , packs of biscuits !Such a lov - clean, quiet, spacious, cosy nothing
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional - Location was spot on as my partners daughter lived literally 5 mins away and doesn't really have room for when we stay but found this little gem and definitely bigger than it looks on the pics. Owners were very helpful and had left tea, coffee, milk and biscuits on our arrival. Would definitely stay again.
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- adrian (10/5): Alford centrally located 2 bedroom stay - A lovely little flat with cooking facilities and fog friendly
- Judith (8/5): Lovely quiet comfortable little self contained accommodation with airy light bedrooms. - Very good communication, comfy beds, quiet location, nice welcome pack, good parking, well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were light and airy. Good location. The only thing letting this property down was that the bath and shower curtain were not looking very fresh - very easily sorted, I am sure.
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ajeesh (10/5): Fantastic stay in a cottage! - The place is bigger than we expected.
The host kept a bottle of milk and biscuits! (Special thanks for the kind gesture) In a way, it was a blessing that no internet!
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - Fresh milk and biscuits were provided, which was lovely and a nice welcome, and the beds were very comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful.
- Jill (7/5): Served it's purpose - Bin, wash rack and washing bowl, oven and tray could of done with a clean not upto my standards but apart from that everything was satisfactory
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diane (7/5): Good -
- Nick (2/5): Not recommended - The location was convenient to the occassion in which we were celebrating. Bed sheets were clean. Milk, Coffee/Tea and biscuits made available. The accommodation was not clean and poorly decorated. There was black mould around edge of bath/shower and tile grouting/fittings, t roll holder hanging off wall, kitchen cupboard poorly fitted, towels smelt damp, curtains not fitted to rail correctly, kitchen cupboards/draws were dirty inside and unclean toilet. No dish cloth provided. Inside microwave and oven not clean from previous uses. Lack of appropriate utensils. This accommodation has not been maintained to a satisfactory standard expected via booking.com. Facilities fell very short if what is expected given the price for 3 nights. Given that it was over Christmas, a 2 ft slim artificial tree with one bauble was provided!! Images taken and available. All in all, very disappointed and if it wasn't for visiting family in the town we would have left.
This accommodation may have appeared of a high standard in 2018 but it has not been maintained in that way.
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional - Nice cosy cottage for our 2 night stay whilst visiting family in the area. Short walk to the local village. Owners very helpful. Two great night sleeps in comfortable beds
- Laura (9/5): Comfy and cosy for our weekend away - The beds are comfy and the place is nice and warm. Only a small thing. Maybe provided a child gate for the top of the stairs.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very enjoyable. - Location. Cosy. Good value for money. The cold bathroom.
- Wendy (9/5): Very pleasant - Location very convenient for my needs All good
- Rita (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Catherine (7/5): A good value overnight stop. - Great location on the edge of Alford. The Apple Loft had everything we needed. Having milk in the fridge on arrival and cookies in the tea and coffee box was a lovely welcome. It was easy to check in. It was more spacious than I thought it would be. The beds and pillows weren’t the comfiest I have ever slept on. Mattresses and some of the pillows could do with replacing, but it was doable for one night.
- Anonymous (10/5): Perfect as a base for our stay visiting places on the east coast - Really well equipped.
Clean and homely. NA
- Michael (10/5): Great - He was friendly It was all good
- Sarah (10/5): - The property was ideal for a short break. It was clean, spacious and had all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. As a base for travelling to the coast by car its ideal and in a very quiet location . Would definitely recommend this holiday property.
- Adelle (9/5): Superb - Apartment lovely and clean and all facilities we needed
- Bianca (7/5): Good - I liked the position and the design was innovative for a loft apartment. It was basic and I didn't pay a lot. There were 2 toilets great for 4 of us. The mattress on the king bed could do with being a bit thicker I was hot so slept on top of the covers but my husband said it was very uncomfortable he was on springs. It wasn't as clean as it should be as in the side and behind the microwave had not been cleaned and dusted for a while but it is also the type of building that gets dusty quickly. The toilet seat downstairs is very stained not sure how it was clean just stained. And it smelled like damp so that could be it. Having the Internet would be a great improvement even a slave from the main house would be great it did say this was not available in the booking
.
- Judy (8/5): Lovely little property with everything you need! - Its character and decor and the bed was so, so comfortable! It was well-equipped with everything we needed. The setting was nice, too The broken velux window handles and the unsafe stair rail on the landing that needs fixing in place.
- Sarah (10/5): Excellent - Location was quiet and close to town and park for the children. The spider living in the upstairs loo.
- Cunnington (8/5): Very good - Apply loft was good although it needs a proper corner sofa putting in as u can't really lay down n get comfy which some people like to go away for
- Amanda (7/5): Good -
- Charlotte (10/5): lovely little place to stay - lovely property and bigger than originally expected. nothing
- Denise (9/5): Superb - Very helpful owners. Good small spot for short stay.
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious clean and really quiet
- Marieh18 (10/5): Exceptional -
- M (10/5): Great stay - Had a wonderful stay at this property , the host was very friendly and helpful and the apple loft was a wonderful place to stay in. We look forward to returning
- MattD (10/5): - Lovely place to stay, plenty of prior communication to arrival, kitchen vey well equip, close to the east coast. Thanks for a great stay!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was quirky, like a doll's house. Just needed a really good clean. Sheets were lovely and clean but long dead spider in the bath for example. Lovely kid's play area over the road. Well equipped but small for a long stay. Very conveniently located and parking on site but next to a noisy main road.
- Victoria (8/5): Staying at the Alpe loft - We stayed over the weekend it was very nice, the loft was very clean and tidy and we would go back again. The local area was ideal for us just a few shops a local pub 2/3 take aways and a fish and chip shop. We went in to Skegness it took around 20/25 minuets drive. Very good value for money.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Great location and potential - The Apple Loft has great potential with its character features and location. There is a double (firm spring mattress) bedroom and twin (foam mattresse) bedroom. Two separate toilets and a separate bathroom with bath and shower over bath. The ceiling height differs throughout and anyone over 6ft would struggle with the shower. The owners were welcoming and got in contact before our arrival. We were disappointed with the overall cleanliness and comfort. The towels are environmentally air dried but smelled damp. The cutlery and mugs were dirty from previous guests and whole apartment needed a good clean.
- Ann (10/5): Convenient and comfortable - We were made welcome on arrival, and the apartment was exactly as described. An excellent Coop food store an easy walk away, and altogether a good stopover on our journey. We hope to return for a longer stay!
- Julie (10/5): Great short break accommodation - Very clever conversion of a small space utilising both floors; with a downstairs bathroom and an upstairs toilet , bedroom and kitchen diner. Very comfortable bed, very warm and basic facilities to allow you to cook a meal with a cooker or microwave. very good for short breaks.
- Huw (10/5): Cosy Getaway - A lovely place to get away, the owners left a few essentials (milk etc) to aid our stay. If back in the area would definitely stay again.
- Chris (10/5): A small get away from it all - Staff were very polite and had left tea and coffee stuff with fresh milk etc. They were flexible about picking up and dropping off keys. The place was very clean and tidy and comfortable.
- Rob (10/5): Cute little apartment - Very nice little self catering apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
- Beverley (10/5): Lovely apartment with excellent off road parking. - We arrived early and were able to check in. It is a short walk into town and we had a very good lunch in a local pub. We had travelled to Skegness and wanted somewhere to stay that was out of town, this was an excellent choice.
