• Charlotte (8/5): - Toplocatie en faciliteiten op de kamer In andere recensies las ik dat je geen last heb van buitengeluid: dit is niet in alle kamers het geval. Als je een lichte slaper bent is het erg storend. De airco rammelde ook teveel om mee te kunnen slapen.

• Jolanda (9/5): Heel fijn hotel op een hele goede locatie - Het was een prachtig hotel met heel vriendelijk personeel op een top locatie. Ook het ontbijt was uitstekend verzorgd. Het hotel heeft een hele warme uitstraling. Omdat het toch een redelijk oud gebouw is, is het aantal stopcontacten minimaal. In de badkamer is geen enkel stopcontact.

• Sander (8/5): - Locatie natuurlijk een 10, personeel heel vriendelijk en bwtrokken. Niet veel, enigszins gedateerd maar netjes opgelost. Heeft zijn charmes, opvallend dat er weinig geluidsoverlast is.

Een heel hulpvaardige receptioniste die ons hielp met de bagage naar de lift te dragen. Op de kamer lag een handgeschreven welkomstkaart van (dezelfde?) receptioniste. Het hotel ligt aan de Grote Markt. Bij aankomst waren we verrast door de kermis op de Grote Markt (de mei-kermis). Gelukkig lag onze kamer aan de achterkant.

• Irzha (10/5): Moi! Groningen Hotel De Doelen - De locatie, het hotel, het gastvrije en vriendelijke personeel en de kamer natuurlijk!. Wij hadden de suite met bad&sauna. Fijne ambiance 'Great Gatsby' style. Alles in de nabije omgeving. Openbaar vervoer op 15 minuten van het hotel, anders goed bereikbaar met taxi of uber. Winkels, restaurants op loop afstand. Midden in het uitgaanscentrum (waar wij voor kwamen 👍🏼) totaal geen last van het buitengebied qua geluid. Het steakhouse bij het hotel is een aanrader. *Hou rekening met een pittig aantal treden omhoog met je koffer(s) naar de ingang.

• Dmitry (9/5): Great hotel and perfect location. - Perfect location in the center of the city. Nice and cosy historical building with real fireplace on a cold day. Breakfast is great - enough choice, fresh and tasty food. Rooms are clean.

Daarnaast had ik een upgrade gehad van een standaard kamer naar een suite en die was erg goed, inclusief sauna etc.. Locatie is perfect en ook al zit je midden in het centrum (ik zat met kamer aan de Grote Markt), maar geen last van geluidsoverlast gehad.

• Andries (10/5): Warm bad - Het personeel van de receptie was ongelofelijk aardig en meedenkend! Startte al met een heel vriendelijke reactie op ons verzoek om een rustige kamer. En tijdens verblijf ook! Kan niet beter en fijner! De kamer was heel fijn, klein maar meer dan groot genoeg met een balzaal van een badkamer, alles nieuw! Prachtig oud pand met glas in lood.

Prima bedden, schone en ruime kamer, grote badkamer, welkomstdrankje in De drie Gezusters. Gratis koffie en thee op de kamer en in de lobby. We waren erg vroeg, er was nog geen kamer voor ons. We konden onze koffer in het hotel laten en wij zijn lekker Groningen in gegaan. Dag van vertrek idem: koffer in het hotel gelaten zodat wij nog konden winkelen. Super service!! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Werkelijk niks.

• Hennie (8/5): Ideaal hotel voor bezoek aan de binnenstad. - De ligging is ideaal. Aan de Grote Markt, maar toch hadden we geen geluidsoverlast. Personeel is erg gastvrij. Fijne regendouche. De matras had zijn langste tijd wel gehad.

• Peter (9/5): Uitstekend gastvrij hotel in hartje Groningen. - Erg aardige ontvangst. Ruime kamer. Uitstekende plek met rustige kamers achterzijde. Heel goed ontbijtbuffet. Jammer genoeg hing er -mogelijk door de droogte- een rioleringsgeur in de badkamer. Geen last in de kamer.
• Kateryna (10/5): - The hotel has a unique vibe, that resembles an English gentleman's club. The decor is elegant and the staff is friendly and helpful. We even got an upgrade and we could stay in the suite, with an amazing view of the Martini tower and a sauna. The position is also fantastic, just in the center of the city, next to all sorts of bars, cafes and restaurants, and by walking distance from the station. We were also provided with 2 tokens to use for a free drink in the Drie Gezusters, the nearby cafe. It's a reallu great place to stay when visiting Groningen. The only little flaw is the checkout at 10:30. But it's possible to get a late checkout at 12:30 with a reasonable price.

Location was perfect and De Drie Gezusters pub and restaurant was great! also you get a welcome drink! my only issue was that the air conditioning didn't really seem to work and it was a little noisy with the window open

Our room under the roof was especially charming and cozy. All of the staff members were very friendly and welcoming. • Nicole (10/5): - Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Lage ist super, mitten in der Innenstadt ! Wer es ruhig mag, ist dort falsch, denn direkt unter neben dem Hotel sind ein paar Bars. Bei geschlossenem Fenster ist es allerdings komplett ruhig im Zimmer. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und im Bad gab es sogar Dusche und Badewanne. Die Einrichtung hatte ein bisschen was von einem englischen Landhaus, es war schon etwas älter, aber in einem sehr guten Zustand und auf jeden Fall gepflegt. Die Lage ist für einen Städtetrip auf jeden Fall super !
