• GEMMAG1680 (4/5): Less than mediocre - There was very little staff interaction. They didn't seem to care much. I am 73 years old and was struggling to get my belongings onto the cart and up to my room and no one offered to help. Housekeeping removed the towels and washcloths I used, but didn't replace them so I had to do without the next day. I slipped and fell in the tub because there was no mat. And the poor housekeeping staff had to push huge, heavy carts that they could barely move. The TV and remote were seriously outdated and difficult to use. This place needs a serious overhaul.

• Barry (6/5): Comfortable but se4vice - The breakfast did not have basic slices of bread for toast. The eggs were surprisingly good, but the pork sausage made both my wife and a bit sick. The waffles seem to be an inferior quality from what have experienced previously. If we ever stay at this property again (which is not highly likely) we will not have the breakfast. The breakfast is the principle reason why we decided to stay here versus another suite designed hotel. Breakfast quality. TV remote did not work to access the channels in the guide (channel 98). The desk staff person was non- welcoming and did my check- in and check out like a automated robot without warmth or cordialoty. Spoke very soft and extremely fast which caused me to ask him to repeat himself several times.

The rugs in the hallways and elevators were ratty, which made me think that I didn't want to walk barefoot in my room. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken, so I didn't have body soap, and the breakfast was just acceptable.

• Wagner (6/5): Just okay. - Location was good. Our room did not have a hair dryer. Called front desk to ask - staff member said it should be in the room. Was not. They told us they didn’t have any extra and pretty much said oh well. I’m glad I wasn’t going to a business meeting with wet hair. Noise was a problem which I know the management can’t control. Kids in the hallway, room above us sounded like a kid jumping up and down at 6am.
• Aaron (2/5): - Severely let down would be an understatement. First off, I wanted a place with a gym.. Everytime I wanted to use the treadmill, there was someone on it. They have two, but one is out of order. You would think with as much money that they charge they would have a working treadmill... Secondly, it's Saturday so usually they have the best breakfast options on the weekends. Especially since Fairfield is known for having the best chain breakfast after doing an immense amount of research... No bacon. They have the money.. once again, come on... You have to flush the toilet three different times to have anything go down... But worst of all around 11:00 p.m., 30 minutes after me and my lady tried to sleep The room next to us had kids stomping and making an incredible amount of noise. I went to the front desk after tolerating over 15 minutes and said look I paid over $200 for this freaking room and I don't want to come off as disrespectful, but me and my lady have driven over 9 hours today and we are exhausted. We really want to sleep. We shouldn't have to tolerate this... could you please do something about the room next to us making so much freaking noise. It sounds like they are just literally running around stomping. He said yes sir absolutely I'm sorry about that ... 30 minutes goes by and no changes happen. After staying up until after midnight it finally dies down and we're able to sleep until 7:15 when they sarted again

• Nancy (4/5): - Check in was easy, staff friendly, room was clean. Our problems start with the bathroom and all about the bathroom. Door had to be pushed hard to close; turns out the threshold piece was too high for the door so it kept catching on it. The sink didn’t have a stopper but plugged up pretty quickly because the drain had what appeared to be the cap of a toothpaste tube stuck down it. Now the best part was no hot water!!!!! Noticed in evening it wasn’t really warm in sink but the worst was when we attempted to shower in the morning. After letting the water run for ten minutes, it was still cold. I did let the front desk know of the situation and was told oh yes, the hot water boiler is at the opposite end of the building from our room so doesn’t come up quickly. Seriously!!!??? That’s unacceptable for a Marriott property. I was told she would speak with manager…….maybe give me some points or a credit on bill. So far I haven’t heard a word.

While they were gracious and accommodating, this should never have been an issue. The bathroom was disgusting… not an overly favorable experience. The breakfast left much to be desired as well.

• Niko (7/5): Für eine Nacht voll OK. - Ruhig, liegt in einem Industriegebiet, perfekt um mit dem Auto dort 1-2 Nächte zu bleiben. Man konnte seine Wäsche waschen, allerdings mit 4USD sehr teuer und nur mit Münzen. Naja das Haus ist schon etwas älter, die Klima Anlage ist sehr laut.

• Emily (4/5): - Three of us stayed in a king suite with a pull out couch. The mattress on the pull out was incredibly uncomfortable, the springs felt like they were right under my back. Most of the pillows were so flat and lumpy. Top sheet over the bed had a brown stain on it. Asked for more towels so one of us could shower and instead of just grabbing a couple (they were not far from the desk..). We were told we’d be getting a refresh soon and had to explain we needed them at that time rather than later. I’ve stayed in many Fairfield’s and the bfast is usually ok but this was terrible. No fruit, no pastries/muffins, ran out of things frequently (yogurt, coffee), the second morning the waffle batter was sour and weird tasting we couldn’t eat it. Definitely the worst Fairfield I’ve ever stayed in.

• Donna (10/5): - Our stay was short. The hotel was quite full. Check in was flawless. Breakfast had a variety of offerings. Staff (1 lady) worked very hard at keeping items available and the area clean. Overall it was a nice place to stay.
• Emily (6/5): - I tend to judge hotels based on whether they are letting things go, like upkeeping the gym equipment and pool. Sure enough, this one had the pool closed (for repairs?), one of three cardio machines out of order, missing a 5lb and 10lb weight, no extra gym towels, no water container in the gym, and no wipes for cleaning the equipment. The gym is probably the lowest priority, but it doesn't take much effort to think about details guests might care about. I'd only pick this place again for the convenient location to visit Reading, but I'd keep my expectations low.

• Marilyn (7/5): It’s good overall! - we didnt take our breakfast coz the front desk lady told us that breakfast starts at 7am to 9 am and we went down late,upon seeing the dining area there were people still taking their breakfast.Im already hesitant to go and take my breakfast then coz we already planned of having it once we get home.The front desk lady should have told us the real exact time the b-fast ends.
