Guest Reviews
- Suzanne Sylvia (8/5): - Room was clean, but lacked storage. Friday and Saturday nights, I had noisy neighbors in the building and in the building next to this building until 3:00 AM. Enjoyed the outdoor space and community kitchen area where you can pick up needed items, such as trash bags, toilet paper, etc. Overall, nice space but small. Comfy bed.
- Maryana (8/5): - Overall, we have had a good experience and easy check in/check out. Hotel is located in nice area, busy during the day because of shopping, but not so loud during the night. The subway station was also like 5 minutes walk which we were able to take to get to Park Guel. The only issue we had was that when we have checked in there was no toilet paper in bathroom, which I have communicated but the staff provided it only the next morning, so for the 1st day we had to borrow paper from shared bathroom in the lobby :)
- Marvin (10/5): E - Todo muy bien excepto el poco espacio en la habitación para colgar ropa, acomodar equipaje, etc.
- Jeremy (10/5): - Perfect location.
- SANDRA Michaela (10/5): - Wir waren superzufrieden! Die Lage ist großartig. Straße laut, aber bei geschlossenen Fenstern ist das kein Problem.
- Jesus (4/5): Olores - Mal olor a desagües en habitación y pasillos
- Oscar (10/5): - Location is very convenient
- Carlo (10/5): - Great place to fest close to a main street
- angelak931 (10/5): Lovely Hotel, excellent location - I stayed at Numa Brio with my teenage daughter for 4 nights. We used the Metro from Placa Catalunya to nearby Fontana station with a short walk from metro to Hotel. There are great shops, bakeries, cafes and restaurants all within a few steps of the hotel. The area feels safe and family friendly. The room was quite small but we took a few minutes each day to organise our things and that worked well. There is free tea/coffee/water/juice in the room. There is a safe and fridge, hairdyer in bathroom. Good shower, comfy bed, quiet at night. Nice walled garden to relax with a croissant from local bakery, no restaurant or reception in hotel. Access is via a pin code sent on day of arrival. It worked well for us, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
- Sebastian (8/5): Seemless electric check in and supporting info - Really liked the seamless electric check in, also that i could get in soon er to the builder, work from there and there were loos available before my 3pm room was available. Equally the QR code c checkout and lockers to leave my belongings until 8pm on the day of departure was a great touch and again a seamless operation through clear instructions.
One comment - the code for the key pad system is excellent BUT I was not pleased to not be able top lock the door when going to sleep as IF anyone had the code they could simply enter. I think this is not hard to add and I don't think i would be alone in wanting to lock the door.
Hope this helps and thank you
- 809chariseg (2/5): Cancellation - They cancelled my booking due to sudden renovation 3 weeks before my stay. The hotel didn't came with a proper alternative or solution. They offered a much smaller room than I've booked in a other hotel. It's not comparable to the room I have booked. Very disappointed in their service. I won't recommend this hotel.
- Lora (10/5): - Small but comfortable in great location. Superb Customer services as well. Good value with tasteful and modern amenities.
- Patricia (10/5): - This lovely little boutique hotel is in the heart of Gracia, close to several Metro stations and lots of dining options, with a pleasant professional staff, and a restful outdoor garden. I'd stay there again. While it doesn't have a coffee maker in the room, the staff will brew a guest a complementary coffee in the morning.
- Alejandra (10/5): Muy recomendado - Muy recomendado, muy bien ubicado, super limpio, excelente servicio en recepcion. Me encanto
- CDFBologna (10/5): Best deal in Gracia - Excellent location, new and soundproof. Great value for money. Limited breakfast is available but it is the occasion the discover the many cafes around. Cristina at the reception will give you the best addresses for them and also restaurants.
- EmilyTravels1994765 (2/5): No refund when they cancelled our reservation - We were booked to stay at this hotel at the beginning of May, but (understandably) they cancelled our booking due to coronavirus. However, nobody has been in touch to organise a refund and they seem to be impossible to contact. We’ve been left almost £400 out of pocket for a hotel we could never stay in, during a year that’s caused a lot of financial problems. This hotel doesn’t care about its guests, and I’ve been left very disappointed. Would recommend that you avoid, as it’s so unprofessional.
- SarahDoerflinger (2/5): Problems with Covid19 - We booked the hotel for April 2020 and couldn't go because of Covid19. I contacted the hotel several times via Mail and Phone and they never answered. This is a no-go and I would never book this hotel again.
- maxfromvalpas (10/5): Great hotel, AMAZING staff! - I met part of the staff during my two-night stay and everyone in the staff was amazing, definately will stay there in the future also!
The property is recently renovated so the hotel looks like a 4 star hotel. Located well near everyghing.
And they offer a meeting room for business travelers to use to be in a silent place doing work! Perfect for a business traveler like me!
And price is not bad at all!
- Dana (8/5): stay at the Gracia Garden - the location is excellent and the staff was very nice. The hotel is perfect if you are looking for a simple, urban space in a good location.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Nice, clean and well located
However no place to hang clothes in the room
- 168ellas (10/5): Gorgeous hotel, perfect location - Gracia Garden hotel is so cute. The location is perfect, the bus stop is literally outside the front door to the hotel. It’s quite a quiet area, and we didn’t hear any noise during the night or in the morning! The reception staff are very helpful with local knowledge or for any information regarding transport.
The rooms aren’t huge but they’re fine when you’re out and about all day! They are spotlessly clean, the bathroom is modern and nice. We had a room overlooking the little secret garden which was lovely.
We would definitely stay at this hotel again!
- Philip (4/5): Never go back - Stayed 4 days. After the first day the A/C went out and they never did get it fixed. Kept telling us all the excuses but never did anything about it and wouldn’t discount our bill because of it. Very small rooms and even smaller bathrooms. Very low ceilings as well. Very claustrophobic feeling.
- AislingD437 (10/5): Wonderful hotel - Great location, very central and easy to navigate the city from here. Very clean but above all the staff were so helpful and friendly. Lovely restaurants nearby especially Nomo across the street.
Loved the garden area for a night cap ;)
- 339brucem (8/5): 50th Birthday celebration - Great location in the village atmosphere of Gracia, walking distance from downtown . Clean, modern, compact design, very helpful and accommodating staff. The garden area was a cool and quiet place to enjoy your coffee and doughnut breakfast. Will come again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location. Staff was very friendly. No tissues in the room.
- Kathonholiday (10/5): wonderfully central hotel with great staff - We stayed here for two nights in early September at the end of a walking holiday in the Pyrenees. It was an excellent choice. The rooms are relatively small but more than adequate given that we were out and about in Barcelona for most of the time. Bed was extremely comfortable and nice and big. Lovely powerful shower. Very convenient for buses, underground etc. And the staff were lovely and friendly. And very keen to help - they advised us about a great tapas bar for lunch when we first arrived for example. And when we were leaving and wanted to weigh our luggage (we were very close to our limit on the way out and had bought some things on our trip) they were very apologetic not to have any luggage scales. But they immediately ordered some as they thought it would be a really good idea to have them. We would definitely stay here again :)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This hotel is a perfect place to stay when in Barcelona, the hotel isn't huge but has lots of great qualities.
The staff were friendly and always greated us with a smile. The outside seating area is very spacious and comfortable. Staff were happy for you to bring drink and snacks back and eat out there. Music played on the background and there were facilities to get a drink from reception if needed.
The room wasn't huge but again very clean and modern. Air con was good and the bed very comfy.
The hotel was quiet and in a good location, would defiantly reccomend. Stress free and a relaxed atmosphere made it for me.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent , safe location on one of the most beautiful avenues in Barcelona! Staff friendly and went out of their way . Definitely would come back!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fabulous hotel in great area, staff very helpful and friendly. Will definitely return.
- Maurice (8/5): - Location is very good. Staff was always very friendly. The only thing that is missing is a sensor at the door to get in at night by roomcard :)
- Rebecca (8/5): - The hotel is fairly modern and new. Location is very good if you are interested in exploring the downtown area, local neighborhoods, and attractions away from downtown- it’s mostly central to all / in long walking distance. The bed was not very comfortable, but we managed okay for the three nights we were there.
- Sergio (10/5): Perfecto - Perfecto, muy bien ubicado, muy buena atención, muy amables.....
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything about this property was phenonemal. Clean, modern design, fantastic location in between la rambla area and park guell/sagrada, easy check-in, nice terrace, comfortable, wifi worked perfectly, morning coffee and donut, helpful front desk/staff who always answered our questions and gave some great recommendations. Had a great stay, highly recommend!
- TTQ (6/5): - Ideal location with good access to metro, restaurants and shopping. The air conditioning we didn’t always work though and the rooms are very small. Basic amenities such as an iron and ironing board were lacking.
- Betty (10/5): Small Charming Hotel - Great area and wonderful small hotel with only 12 rooms. The staff was extremely helpful, especially Cristina. The rooms were small but clean and comfy. It would be nice to have facial tissues and a soap dish and not pay extra for the safe. One nice feature is that you had to request room cleaning and they provided a cupboard where you could grab extra towels or tp. For breakfast they did provide a pastry and coffee. They also had a quaint garden area that guests could sit in, weather permitting.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great stay! Shocked that’s its a two star. The staff were very welcoming and allowed my friend to join in the garden :) thanks !
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wunderbare Lage. Viele Annehmlichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe.
- 428yulyal (10/5): Excellent hotel 😍 - We stayed in Gracia Garden Boutique Hotel for 5 nights in the middle of March. It is a very cozy and nice hotel. Our garden view room was really small but quite enough for 2 of us.
It is a perfect place to sleep and to take some rest after you're walking all day long in Barcelona. A bed is very comfortable, blinds are lightproof, and bathroom is very trendy with those circle mirrors.
There is no fridge or minibar that wasn't so perfect for us also it wasn't something crucial.
Our room was quiet. And the view was very authentic — in front of it, there was a wall of, I guess, a Catholic cathedral with a circular stained glass window. And under our windows, there was that gorgeous garden which you've probably seen on all the photos of this hotel.
The hotel is located in a perfects place, in the middle of the city, I think. You can walk to any place you want in maximum 1 hour time. It 5 minutes walk from Casa Milà and Manzana de la Discordia. But at the same time, the place is very quiet, not on the way of tourists.
I recommend staying in Gracia Garden Boutique Hotel if you come to Barcelona as tourists and gonna walk all days long.
- Eva (10/5): En pärla - Gracia Garden Hotel vill jag gärna återvända till. Snygg design, rent, härlig atmosfär med bra och personlig service. En pärla.
- Jonny (8/5): City break - would stay again! - Really good and easy for what we wanted, not really any storage however we were hardly ever in the room - location was great and would stay again :)
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The name of boutique is not justified. Small room and service compatible for 2 star hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was good stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Boas instalações , limpo, equipe acolhedora
Muito bem localizado
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Modern clean hotel good bathroom space, shortage of wardrobe and cupboard space.
Would return.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Moderno é muito limpo
Equipe simpática
Muito bem localizado
- O4793RUalicem (10/5): Great place to stay for a few days - We really enjoyed our stay at Gracia Garden. The rooms are small, but perfect for what we needed and very clean and stylish. Also very quiet at the back of the hotel. The staff were really friendly, cheerful and helpful. The hotel is in a great location & we found we could walk to everywhere we wanted to go from there (although it is also very close to public transport). I would stay again!
- MickeyG136 (10/5): Lovely Hotel - Stayed for four nights at this lovely hotel, and loved every minute. Well situated for bus and Metro, and also the Barcelona Bus Turístic, which made exploring this beautiful city easy.
The staff are helpful and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. We will be returning when we can get time off, and won’t hesitate to book at Gràcia Garden..!
- beglisc (6/5): Hotel was fine, location was excellent - We spent three nights at the Gracia Garden in early October. The hotel is apparently "new" in that it's recently changed names/owners and has been refurbished. And it looks brand new--shiny and modern clean. We checked in with Miguel at the front desk, and he was very friendly and helpful. The "Secret Garden" at the back of the lobby is sleek and charming, and a great place to have your morning coffee with the chocolatine that you have picked up at one of the bakeries down the street.
The hotel is in a lovely neighborhood, on the border between the tony Passeig de Gracia, where all the designer stores are located, and Gran de Gracia, which is the gateway to the Gracia neighborhood, full of cafes and bars and plaças. I really coudn't have asked for a better location.
My quarrel was with the room, which while also sleek and shiny and stylish, was quite small. Rooms are furnished with a bed and a low shelving unit that runs along the wall and serves as a bedside table/luggage rack/clothes rack. The bathroom opens directly to the room, which cuts down on privacy somewhat. But the big problem is that the shelf is your only place to put anything in the room. It's not enough space for two suitcases. There's no closet. There's no chair. (Want to sit down? Use the bed.) There's no hook for your coat. Anything that you hang on the rack above your suitcase, hangs directly over the suitcase--annoying. There's also no soap dish, and no shelf in the shower to put your shampoo/conditioner. It would have been great--perfect even, for one person (well, except for the lack of a shelf in the shower), but for two people on an extended tour of the area, it was cramped.
And so, no, I probably wouldn't stay again.
- 982pekkas (8/5): A lovely week-end trip to Barcelona - The hotel, for its location, was perfect for our needs! The room was QUIET (facing the back), the bed was perfect and the AC did its job. The room and bathroom were clean and functional. The hotel does not serve breakfast...which really doesn't matter as there are several cafes in the close vicinity that do. I warmly recommend this hotel if all you need just a place to sleep.
- Matthew (10/5): Great trip - Really enjoyed my stay in Barcelona. The location, staff and hotel were perfect four our long weekend trip. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. The rooms were smallish but perfect for two when the majority of time is spent exploring Barcelona’s many beautiful sights
- Sam (10/5): - The room was exactly what it’s presented online bathroom could use a little more counter space and a shelf in the shower the staff was excellent and very accommodating hotel is close to pretty much everything highly recommend it to anyone traveling on a budget although we felt very safe in the hotel it would’ve been nice to have a place to lock away valuables still an excellent deal
- Lisa (8/5): Quiet, Clean and Confortable - Hotel is situated in a quiet area of Barcelona, in walking distance of what I wanted to see and also a selection of metros. The room was clean and comfortable, good value for money. The only issue I had was the lift. They clearly need to get it fixed...thought I was stuck on a couple of occasions and started to panic. There was a small sign on the lift wall but perhaps needed to be bigger or should l've been warned on check in.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful location - the Staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They held out luggage after we checked out while we went exploring before our flight. I would highly recommend this hotel. The location is great!
- Fanny (10/5): Great hotel - great location! - The staff was amazing - super friendly and helpful...I really enjoyed my stay!
Only a small area for improvement - the wi-fi worked best in the lobby not so great in the room.
- Lovetotravel (8/5): - Nice hotel, new. Very close to restaurants, shopping etc. The staff was friendly. The room felt a little on the smaller side but was fine for a few nights.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very good location, friendly staff, clean room, nice condition, beautiful little back garden
- Verified traveler (10/5): - As we were driving in I was a bit skeptical. The neighborhood is a residential one. We walked around for dinner and fond some small cafes. Tje hotel is far from any tourist destinations. After staying here I would recommend it for any tourist. Stay here and commute into town for the sights. We did stay downtown also. While it was convenient it was really loud.
- fabiang855 (10/5): Absolutely nice and friendly - We have been at the hotel for a city trip. The hotel is close to the absolutely beautiful and charming area 'Gracia' which invites you with nice cafes and bars. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. He gave us recommendations where to go which we followed and we were not disappointed! The rooms are beautiful with a scandinavian touch and had everything we needed. Would absolutely recommend this hotel again!
- Verified traveler (8/5): worth the price - Good Service & Good location
The only thing is not perfect is that the room space is not that big
- Verified traveler (10/5): Enjoyed our stay! - Clean and neat room, has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Efficient and friendly reception staff 24 hours/day. Area very central and good transport links, lots of nice café and restaurants nearby, however was noisy at night from outside the window. No kettle in the room but can have a tea/coffee in the reception area.
- Elizabeth M. (10/5): EXCELLENT HOTEL NEAR EVERYTHING!! - This place is outstanding. Perfect location, near everything just a five minutes walk to one of the main train stations that connects you to anywhere. Has places to eat nearby within walking distance.
It is a small boutique hotel, recently renovated so everything is new.. the room we got was perfect for two, very quiet, with elevator and very modern.
No in room coffee maker or minibar but that is nothing you cannot find nearby (as I prefer to go to go out and have a good nice breakfast with coffee). At the lobby you will find limited refreshments in case your thirsty at the middle of the night. Reception 24hrs and everyone is very nice and helpful.
thank you for this nice short 4night stay.. I will definitely stay here again on my second trip to Barcelona.
No complains at all with this hotel, everything was perfect, very happy!!
- David (6/5): Great location - Rooms a little small...lots of storage space, large bathrooms however some rooms could use some form of TLC. Of you are going to charge this amount of money.....fix it up a bit and change up dome decor.
Looked at a few rooms....looks as if some water damage had occurred on the wall.
Staff was so oooooo friendly and accommodating.
- Brian (8/5): good hotel - good hotel for the price in a good street close to metro we were very satisfied
- Jack (10/5): Worth the price - This hotel is worth the price that they charge. The staff is friendly. It is a low price hotel so no amenities or frills , small room with clean bed, hot water, and decent location. The neighborhood just north of the hotel (Gracia) is great place to find restaurants that the locals eat at. Metro Station Diagonal is a five minute walk Southeast on the same street as the hotel. It is also on the same street as some famous Gaudi buildings that are also walking distance.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice small hotel in a very good area of Barcelona. The rooms are small and dated but sufficient for a short stay, enough to crash in the evening. Not very clean, a bit dated, but service on a reception is very good. Best part of Barcelona, at Paseig de Gracia, lots of bars and restaurants around, as well as some of prime architecture and Gaudi's buildings.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Decent price good location - Small but decent budget room. Location is very close to the metros and city center
- Paolo (10/5): Excellent - receptionist was indispensabile in giving us ideas of secret places to go, central location and nice, comfortable rooms
- Michael (6/5): - People at the front desk were incredibly helpful, and can make tons of recommendations for places to see, etc. Room is small but simple, bathroom is very nice but they could definitely upgrade the bed and perhaps the TV. Overall it is perfect if just needing a place to see from which to explore the city, it is very close to some good places to eat and a metro station.
- Rosemary (8/5): Simple, clean, safe and friendly staff with excell - Perfect for a short stay. Staff were friendly and spoke excellent English.
