Guest Reviews
- Julien (5/5): -
- Rainer (9/5): - Zentrale Lage, freundliches Personal
- Paula (8/5): Lovely family stay. - Not too far from the main square. Easy to find. On a nice quiet street. Comfortable room. Towels changed regularly. Room cleaned every day. Filling breakfast. Nice rooftop chill spot. Fantastic staff.

- Mark (10/5): Fantastic experience - Everything was fantastic, we enjoyed the whole experience & would recommend & have no hesitation staying again. nothing

- Ioana L. (9/5): I stayed here just for one night but it was a wonderful stay, and the hosts are amazing -

- Jenny (8/5): Rachid, Wadii, Fadila & Khadija are super helpful and will make sure your stay is enjoyable. - Located in a quiet derb yet central in the Medina. Lovely rooftop. Nice beds. Moroccan breakfast. It was a bit cold and rainy when we arrived. We just had to ask and extra heating was fixed.

- Raj (10/5): Great Riad in the heart of medina! - The staff were super friendly, rooftop area was super nice to chill when the sun is out. Great place to read a book and enjoy the Moroccan tea. The riad is located in the heart of medina but still slightly further from the chaos of it. You do have to navigate through the alleyways but I never felt unsafe at night as a solo traveller to make my way to it. Breakfast was great! A little on the light side but you're in the Medina, you can just get some more 2 mins away. I will stay there again next time I visit Marrakech! The shower, wish there was a way to stop the water from going all over the bathroom. Curtains would help.

- Andrea (7/5): - Colazione buona Pulizia
- Linda (10/5): We had a wonderful stay, such a charming riad with excellent location. The staff was so nice! - Absolutely beautiful riad that exceeded all expectations. The breakfast on the rooftop was heavenly. Lovely and helpful staff! 10/10 would recommend, and hope to visit again!

- Hardy (9/5): Delightful experience in the heart of the medina - I enjoyed the stay at Linda’s Riad a lot. It was such a safe haven in the midst of the intense Medina. The stuff was very helpful and friendly indeed, and it was a delight talking to Linda and her husband. The place was clean, quiet and charming. -
- Simone (8/5): - Lovely rooftop terrace There was nobody to pick us up at the medina. Navigating the medina and our luggage was a bit stressfull as many People try to scam us whith the sentence "this road is closed"
- Alan (10/5): Bright and Beautiful Riad. - We have had another most enjoyable stay in this beautiful riad. Bright and spotlessly clean with a stunning roof terrace. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and we are always well looked after. Breakfast on the terrace is always a great start to the day. A few steps away from the noise and chaos of Djemma el Fna yet so tranquil Nothing
- Johnathan (2/5): don’t but too much faith in every Booking star or Lonely Planet recommendation. - Riad Linda is dark, drab and dreary—at least in a ground-floor room with one window opening to the lobby and kitchen. Old towels and sheets, no soap, no glasses. Not my idea of a “superior” room. The breakfast was average,Given the many other options in Marrakech, look for another place to stay. …I know because our first and longer stay in the city was infinitely better, cleaner, brighter, in great location and cost less. I’d give Riad Linda one star at most and that’s being generous. So, don’t but too much faith in every Booking star or Lonely Planet recommendation. The cleaning, sheets, towels, light bulbs—-for a start
- Miguel (8/5): Lovely riad with great location inside the medina - Breakfast was good and the terrace was a lovely place to have it. The riad location was ideal for exploring the medina. The staff was very friendly and helpful and arranged for a pickup at the airport. The AC could use an update and it broke down twice, even though this was swiftly fixed by the riad staff.
- Tom (8/5): Well situated Riad in medina - Very friendly staff and owner, Linda. Shower head was leaking resulting in water spraying outside shower.
- Heena (7/5): Pleasant stay - The location is amazing. Right outside the lane you have you have everything sorted! Clean and great breakfast.. amenities provided in toilet! Spacious… Hot water running well! 👌🏻
And the staff gets 10/10 rating! We were given a room near the kitchen, it was quite disturbing in the morning! We were aware of it as it showed on the booking so we were prepared.
Also, the door is kinda loose, so it doesn’t lock well, which means no sound proofing at all.
Keep an eye out on city tax collection, as I had one of the guy collecting a lil more than what he should..
Rest all was amazing👌🏻
- Shahad (10/5): Exceptional - Staffs are very friendly and helpful.
- Geoffrey (9/5): Superb -
- Geoffrey (9/5): Superb -
- Gianmatteo (9/5): Superb - Very nice Riad in the center of Marrakech. The staff is helpful and kind and the rooftop is definitely a plus for breakfast and for some relax after strolling in the Medina.
- Maggie (7/5): Great base to explore the central square - Quiet simple room with a good bed and shower. Lovely terrace. Kind and positive owners. Breakfast was tasty but maybe a little too simple.
- Emmely (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (7/5): Pleasant riad in peaceful location - Good central location, although at the end of a long dark alleyway, staff very welcoming, friendly and so very helpful with a nothing is too much trouble work ethic. Beds comfy and nice warm shower. Breakfast was nice with omlete, various breads, fresh orange juice and hot drink which can be taken inside or on the lovely rooftop. Aircon unit also provides heat for chilly evenings and free safe was a bonus. Good communication from hotel ahead of arrival. Use google maps and not maps on iPhone for true location for riad Linda Toiletries are just shower gel and shampoo, so bring soap for the sink. Building work next door starts at 8, but not a problem as you are up for a day of sightseeing
- Susan (10/5): - Comfortable room and kind staff in a great location.
- Bartek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (8/5): Riad Linda with the personal touch. - I liked that Linda was present and willing to personally look after visitors. Nothing really
- Lanfranco (9/5): Affordable B&B, great location and lovely breakfast - Location is great, it's litterally 5 minutes by walk from Marrakech main square. The riad is a lovely family run B&B, the rooms are nice and clean and the staff is nice. We appreciated that the guy at the reception is always on site h24, which kinda makes you feel safer when you travel abroad.
The breakfast is also very nice we stayed on February but it was warm enough to have it in the cute terrace. This is not up to them but you need to know that the streets in the Medina are quite narrow and you feel like you're in a labyrinth. So if it's your first time in Marrakesh and you arrive with a late flight it can get quite scary to reach the B&B at night.
- Jonathan (10/5): Warm welcome in a historic capital. - I have always wanted to visit Morocco so when an opportunity to come and visit Riad Linda, located in the heart of Marrakech, to hard to resist. Fair to say I was not disappointed and enjoyed the warm welcome from friendly staff and the comfort of my room.
- Thomas (8/5): Lovely, friendly, clean and convenient: will definitely be back - Riad Linda is in a convenient location. We had a lovely room with roof terrace access; it was very clean; and breakfast was nice. We noticed the atmosphere among the staff was lovely and friendly, and they offered us advice and answered our questions. The noise from one guest in particular travelled to our room, but it wasn’t a major inconvenience.
- Al (1/5): Bad -
- Browne (10/5): Another wonderful stay. - Another wonderful stay at Riad Linda. Linda and Gordon are both so welcoming, and the staff are all fantastic. The riad is beautiful and very well kept, beds are comfy and the breakfasts are delicious. The roof garden is a charming tranquil spot. The riad is an oasis of calm but close to the central market place, Jemaa el - Fna. We will definitely return! N/A
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - Nice breakfast and location
- Mclean (9/5): A comfortable and welcoming Riad close to Jamaa el fnaa. - Rashid was excellent communicating directions and suggestions of things to do/see. The staff were also excellent; obliging, personable and friendly. Good breakfasts! It was a little cold at night and in the mornings during breakfast, but that is more to do with the season.
- Alan (10/5): Fabulous -
- Alina (3/5): I will never come back here. - The staff was nice and helpful. The location is difficult to be accessed, you have to carry your luggage for a long way because you cannot reach the property by taxi. The rooms are too small and with an unpleasant smell and the breakfast is poor, just a simple omlette and some bread and butter with honey and jam.
- Tadayuki (9/5): Authentic Riad with cozy rooftop spaces - Authentic Riad style. With cozy rooftop space in a surprisingly quiet area inside the walls. Location is a bit off the Main Street.
- Michael (7/5): Had a lovely time the owners and staff were so nice and really looked after us. - Breakfast was great. Location too Didn’t like the private bathroom.
- Molly (8/5): Great value for budget travelers in a central location - Cute riad in an old building for a great price in the heart of Jemaa el-Fnaa, hidden off some quiet side streets. Friendly staff with an English-speaking manager, and expat-owners who are on site to answer any travel questions. Our room on the upper floor was cozy with a comfortable bed, and the terrace was a nice place to rest and have breakfast. Since it's an older building, some areas could use improvement, i.e. doors/windows not soundproof (heard prayer alarms from mosque everyday at 6am), shower & faucet could be tricky, room smelled musty if windows weren't left open, etc.
- Alice (10/5): Fabulous stay will go again - Such a lovely Riad with delightful hosts. The location is excellent and it is really pretty inside. Nothing
- Nigel (10/5): Perfect location to explore the city, with spotless ensuite room, excellent breakfast and wonderful hosts and staff. - What a fantastic base to explore this fascinating city.
Besides the great location, Linda, Gordon and their wonderful staff couldn’t have done more to provide a ‘home from home’ vibe.
The en suite room was ideal, spotlessly clean, the breakfast excellent, and the terrace a perfect place to chill after a long day sightseeing.
I certainly won’t hesitate to rebook when visiting Marrakesh again.
- Janet (8/5): Would recommend - Staff and breakfast
- Janet (10/5): Wonderful staff would highly recommend - The staff were welcoming and could not be more helpful.
Breakfast including freshly baked bread was delicious.
- Kounouho (4/5): Disappointing -
- Karen (8/5): Great location from which to explore Marrakech - Great location although we did get lost the 1st time we left the Riad, welcoming friendly staff, quiet roof terrace with lovely variety of seating areas. Good room with comfy beds and plenty of hot water.
- Candela (8/5): Everything all right! - The hotel is really nice, the location is perfect.
The staff is super friendly. The breakfast was good, fresh and with variety of food
I need to mention that the owner helped us with a problem with have with our tour, if he wasn’t there we would have lost our excursion. So thanks a lot to him! We have the room in the ground floor, next to the breakfast area so it was a bit noisy. But the rest was all good!
- Anita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ann (9/5): Superb - Location, comfortable beds, friendly, small and nice place to chill. Nothing
- Neville (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay at Riad Linda was excellent. Great location and close to everything. All staff were very helpful and friendly. The Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Lovely sunny terrace we used it in the evenings to relax.
The Moroccan breakfast was very good. We also had a lovely Moroccan lemon chicken tagine on our first night. Airport shuttle was very good borh ways. Thank you for a lovely stay Neville and Julia All good
- Nicolas (2/5): - We were locked outside twice in one night because they didnt give us a key and the night worker wasnt answering the door. This happened twice in one night
We paid for 3 beds and they refused to let in our senegalese friend so we paid 3 beds for nothing
Wifi was bad and non existent on the porch
The air vents were dirty
- Martina (10/5): Highly recommended, great value for the price with friendly welcoming people. Planning on coming back ☺️ - I had a very pleasent stay at the riad, I loved the breakfast on the rooftop it was the perfect way to start the day.
The breakfast was a bit different every day that we appreciated a lot and it was enough for us. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and helpful with anything. We are going to stay at Riad Linda on our next trip to Martakech.
Thank you for the hospitality!
- Barrington (7/5): Good -
- Patrick (7/5): Great location but needs updating - Location is great - minutes away from Jemaa al fna but away from the hustle and bustle. Photos give the impression of bright and airy rooms when in fact, they are quite dark and enclosed. The bed in our room was crammed in and difficult to manoeuvre around. Our room was located on the ground floor and was.right beside reception, breakfast area and the kitchen. This meant there was no privacy and no chance of sleeping past 8 when breakfast service started. The staff kindly moved us to a room on the first floor at our request. The riad is a little tired looking and lacks atmosphere - a little like being in a library. Unfortunately during our stay there was extensive building work going on in 2 adjacent buildings which reverberated throughout the riad (particularly loud on the roof terrace). I understand that this is not the fault of the riad but a heads up would have been nice - there was no chance of relaxing. Also note that tourist tax is €3 per person per day, not €2.50 like it says on booking.com.
- Almeida (7/5): Good -
- Woolley (8/5): Very good - The staff were fantastic and the Riad nice and cool in the hot temperatures. Trying to find Road Linda on our arrival at Marrakesh. After 22.00 hrs the taxi dropped us off at the other side of the square and we were lost and open for the scammers to rip us off.
- Guiomar (9/5): An oasis in the center of the chaotic Medina - This Riad is conveniently locared to visit the Medina. Although it is close to Jamaa el Fna square, it is very quiet and perfect to relax after the stress of the area. Linda, the owner, and Rachid, the person in charge, are friendly and helpful. Excellent Breakfast and nice terrace. The shower has no door.
- Kamila (10/5): Good place with good people - Nice & cosy accommodation with a great terrace in a very central location straight in the medina. The people were all super friendly. And we got fantastic breakfast every morning.
Would definitely recommend this accommodation and try to come back.
- Linda (9/5): In every way one of my best stays ever - also help with excursion to Imlil, High Atlas Mountains - So very peaceful and harmonious - excellent location and the best staff ever. Nothing
- Linda (10/5): Riad Linda is in a wonderfully central location with amazingly friendly and helpful staff. - Breakfast was my first introduction to a Moroccan breakfast and I enjoyed it very much - well cooked and presented with tasty range of condiments.
I particularly like that there are no TV screens in the bedrooms and that everything is simply traditional with artistic decor I was happy with everything.
- Kitty (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and easy to find riad . Breakfast was delicious
- THAYALINI (2/5): - I DID NOT LIKE ANYTHING FROM A TO Z AS IT WAS DESCRIBED ON THE DESCRIPTION OF THE HOTEL
EVERYTHING IS WRONG
I AM A FREQUENT TRAVELLER THIS IS THE VER BAD EXPERIENCE.
ESPECIALLY BREAKFAST IS ONLY ONE CHAPATI WITH ONE PLAIN FRIED EGG AND 4 PIECES OF A STONE BUN ONE SMALL CUP OF COFFEE AND ONE GLASS OF ORANGE JUICE THATS IT.
- Deborah (10/5): It was such a great holiday, so much to take in! ♥️ Morocco - Felt save, staff were so accommodating and friendly. It is very close to the main square but very peaceful. The breakfasts were delicious. I liked everything, but please be aware no taxis can access the small alleys so a bit of a walk to the Riad. Thankfully a member of staff kindly met me at the taxi drop off when I first arrived. I would never of found it first time by myself!!
- Cherie (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (8/5): Overall a lovely 5 day stay. Would stay again. - Breakfast was adequate.
Staff were very helpful especially Wadii.
Gordon and Linda were lovely hosts.
Rooftop was a nice place to chill.
Taxis and tour guide organised by the hotel were excellent. Would have liked a small table and chairs in the room.
Kettle, tea, coffee and cups would have been nice..
Change in breakfast menu.
- Michal_ondrysek (5/5): Bad experience what owner said is "Jardin room" was nowhere mentioned or described on App booking - Apart from the noisy Jardin room the staff was very pleasant, the room was clean and breakfast was delicious. If we stayed in a different room and wouldn't have had this conflict with the owner, I am sure we would have enjoyed our stay at this Riad. But after this experience I am sure I will not recommend it nor stay in it ever again. We had bad experience at Riad Linda. We booked a double room over the Booking.com mobile App and nowhere in the photos nor in the description in the app was written that our room is a "Jardin room" (= very noisy room directly next to the main lobby with reception and breakfast area divided only by a thin wall). Our door and small window (which both couldn't be closed properly) aimed directly to the lobby and breakfast area. When we were going out from the room, everybody could have had a look directly into our bed. From our bed through the little window we could see (and mainly hear) people having breakfast like they would be sitting directly next to our bed. We felt like having no privacy because our every word could be heard properly by people in the lobby. However the most disturbing fact for us was that our sleep was disturbed in the morning by the first people having breakfast.
Immediately when we saw this room, we knew we do not want to stay there. We asked politely for a different room somewhere in the upper floor because we really needed a good night sleep that night. The owner lady told us that no room in the upper floor was available. So we asked her politely for returning us the money. She started to behave very arrogant that we should be satisfied with that room "like all her customers before" and that she will not return a cent. She told us that we should leave the room if we are not satisfied but she will not give us our money back. Nice idea, isn't? So we had a little argument in the evening with her. We could feel that she was interested only in our money. She didn't care if people are satisfied with the room or not. In my opinion not a good quality in a host. Money is not everything. Satisfied customers should mean more. And we were definitively not satisfied customers. But yes, she won.
- Abigail (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (9/5): Lovely traditional Riad, charming atmosphere and value for money! - Central location, delightful staff, comfortable and charming.
- Voyager (7/5): Good -
- Voyager (7/5): Good -
- Peter (9/5): Perfect location, very authentic feel - Perfect location to explore the Medina, all sights are within easy walking distance. Helpful and very kind staff, good breakfast, clean room. The whole place has a very authentic riad atmosphere, highly recommended. Nothing significant!
There could be more power plugs to charge devices - I know this is an old riad and we absolutely managed with what was available, but be aware.
If you have a car, do not try to navigate to the hotel - some apps may try to do that, but it is just impossible. We lost quite some time learning this… use one of the inexpensive parking lots around Jemaa el-Fnaa and walk to the hotel.
- Marjan (9/5): Great value for money. "Riad" experience is rather unique and fantastic! - The Riad and its hosts are great, in every aspect. The location is in the lower part of the Marrakech Medina, which means that most of the sightseeing spots are accessible by walking, which for us was important because we felt Marrakech that way. The breakfast is truly Moroccan and the lady serving too kind. Internet was superb. It is definitely a value for money. One particular moment that shocked us at first sight was the fact that you could hardly find the Riad (and majority of all the riads) by yourself, i.e. if not guided by the people who transport the luggage with 'ricksha' (paid service). The shock was actually the trajectory which leads through a total crowd, and then immediately the 'driver' turns in a small/narrow totally quiet street. We were passing through this narrow street for about 10 minutes until we reached the riad deep in the medina labyrinth, but surely felt fully insecure (despite knowing that Marrakech is considered quite safe). The days after was fully fine from this aspect and once shown, the Riad could be easily found again. Moreover, riad is not a hotel and visitors are advised to familiarize with the concept of riad before booking, and avoid it in case they strongly prefer a hotel. If not, the riad experience is rather unique and fantastic!
- Gordon (10/5): Great location and comfortable stay - The riad has a peaceful but great central location. The staff are so kind and helpful and looked after me so well. The terrace is beautiful and I had a wonderful breakfast there. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable and the staff were so attentive.
- Mohammed (4/5): Loss of money and time - Nothing Almost every thing
- Tomasz (10/5): Exceptional - Location - the center of Marrakesh, close to everything and at the same time very quiet in the apartment and intimate. Incredible service, family atmosphere and the feeling of being taken care of from the moment of picking up from the airport until saying goodbye. Excellent breakfasts, very varied. Everyone very friendly, very helpful in a problematic moment. I highly recommend Riad Linda, definitely one of the nicest places I've lived in during many years of traveling.
- Sunny (1/5): Bad -
- Lesley (9/5): Superb -
- Selina (8/5): breakfast, location and staff was good. however they don’t all speak much English. - it was a amazing location, in the medina. staff was very polite and helpful. bed was uncomfortable, the shower and sink kept over flooding in seconds and shower was also very small. on the last day we urgently needed our boarding passes printed, but staff fobbed us off and weren’t much help at all.
